I had heard some good things about this place and was excited to check it out. Let me start off by saying...they have gluten-free biscuits...and gravy! So stoked to see that. In fact, they have a lot of really tasting sounding options here. I was so taken by the idea of my old gluten filled favorite breakfast items being offered here with a GF twist that I knew I had to try some, fortunately, my omelet could come with a side of biscuits and gravy. Yes! The place was packed and we did wait a bit to get seated, but there were five of us, so that makes sense. An odd number on a busy morning. Our server was polite and prompt. Coffee followed quickly. Once we ordered our food it too showed up in a good amonut of time. My omlette was good, lots of toppings and a large portion for sure. My buiscits and gravy were large too! Unfortunalty due to the GF nature of the bisucits, they were dry and dense. Not great. The gravy was okay too, but alos not a ton of flavor. It's too bad, it was a nice treat to try but also reminded me of the old maxim, you can never go back. No apology, no gratuity for the lateness just totally ignored the fact it took the food 40 ish min to get to us. next time I go I'll ask what the wait is between ordering and getting the food out. My experience here was great! My waitress was kind and attentive- my coffee was never even half full and she gave me almond milk on the side and asked if I wanted lemon in my water. They have an array of clearly marked vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free items. I got the Gardener's Hash and an almond pancake with coconut whipped cream as the side at the waitress' suggestion for a vegan eating there for the first time. SO DELICIOUS. For me, the basil pesto is what really took the hash to the next level. I haven't had pancakes in years and I have never had coconut whipped cream so maybe I was a little too star-struck but WOW. Large enough portion where I will also be enjoying this for lunch. The inside is pretty standard for a diner. It reminds me of a mix of Anna's House and Denny's with beat up booths but cutesy decor. The people dining were also a pretty standard mix of business people, families with crying babies, and groups of older folks. I was alone and did some paperwork in a booth and didn't feel out of place. The prices were completely fair in my opinion for what I ordered since I eat a ~speciality~ diet, though I heard the women next to me talk about how they felt it was too pricey for just eggs and pancakes. This is tough for me to write. I am a HUGE breakfast fan, I would eat breakfast for every meal if I could. I've also been to most breakfast places in the area and Noble had been on my list for a long time! Unfortunately my experience with the food was less than great. We finally made it down there on a Sunday. It was pretty busy already by the time we got there around 11 am, but we didn't have to wait too long. The interior is cozy with lots of booths and a separate back room for private parties or large groups. Our server was very sweet and on top of things especially considering how busy it was. She did spill a tray of drinks on our table / us but was very apologetic and this did not affect my review at all. Everyone's human! However, the food really just did not wow me and definitely didn't live up to all the hype I've heard about this place. I ordered the breakfast bowl as this kind of food is my favorite. I was thinking it would be like one of the skillets at Grand Coney (my breakfast weakness). I loved that I could get a side of fresh fruit rather than just toast or a biscuit since I'm not a huge bread fan. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy, and our friend got the 2 by 2 and added hash browns. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything was hot. Unfortunately, the sausage gravy was pretty bland and tasteless. This is a major issue for me because if it's covering the whole dish (which it was), I want it to actually taste like something. The eggs come scrambled, but I should have asked for them to be over-easy. The potatoes in the bowl were way too big and had absolutely zero seasoning on them as well. The fruit was actually all really fresh and delicious - and was my favorite part of my meal. My boyfriend didn't really enjoy his dish either since it was also completely covered in the tasteless gravy. Our friend said the French toast was great, though! I really appreciate everything that Noble stands for - they offer tons of options that are GF-friendly, vegan options, and lots of sides beyond just toast, which is great. I just was not impressed, unfortunately. The food I had at Noble was just like the food at Westsider - bland and not that good. I know they were recently acquired by the same restaurant group that owns Grand Coney and others, so maybe they can change up their sausage gravy recipe. I don't think I will be back since it's not that close to my house (I can walk to Grand Coney) and it seems like there's always a wait. For me, that's not worth it. The food had good flavor. The prices were a touch high for what you'd expect for breakfast food. $12-13 for an omelet. The portion sizes did not make up for the prices. The portion size were below average. Cleanliness was an issue. Silverware was dirty and so was one of the water glasses. The bathroom was not well maintained. The food took longer than you'd expect for breakfast. We weren't in a hurry so it was no big deal but it feels like the food was ready and then just sat for ~10 minutes because everyone's meal came out cold. I want to say the service was good but I wonder if our food sat and got cold because maybe our server was on a break or something because we didn't see her attending any of her tables for 10-15 minutes. read more

Was in town staying with a friend, and visited Noble Restaurant as my friends have heard great things, but have yet to go! A group of four of us went on a Saturday just after 11am. The place is seat yourself, with an abundance of tables and some booths. Tables were the only thing open, so we chose a table in the front. A waitress came by to let us know she would grab us menus and be back to grab our drink order. Our entire table ordered water, and our waiter seemed a little disgruntled that we all ordered water for some strange reason. When our drinks were brought to us, she first only brought out 3 waters without the use of a tray (and holding glasses against her shirt - not very sanitary) and threw the straws at the table. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but not very courteous or a pleasant beginning to our experience. Our meal orders were taken, and the food took around 20 minutes to be served. The restaurant is an average noise level, and there didn't appear to be much of a wait for tables as we watched other customers walk in, but service was steady. Once our food came out, again only three meals were brought out, and not all four. The meals at our table were: a bowl with a side biscuit, biscuits + gravy with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs on the side, a patty melt with fries, and a bowl of oatmeal with dried fruit and toast on the side. The fourth meal that took an additional 5 minutes to get served to our table was the oatmeal. We assumed it was maybe forgotten about, and it was made in the 5 minutes we waited for our last friend to get served. Also, he ordered a side of toast...never brought the entire time, so he decided to not worry about and forget it. The food: The bowl I ate was GF and has onions, mushrooms, green peppers, scrambled eggs, seasoned redskins, topped with gravy and cheese. This is a very tasty meal and very filling! You get to choose from a variety of sides, and I ordered a buttermilk biscuit with honey, which was also very good. My friend next to me ordered the biscuits + gravy with just 2 biscuits, and it was a very large portion. She ended up giving her eggs to the toast-less friend at the table but also had shredded hashbrowns with her meal - also good. Her fiance with the patty melt said his sandwich was great, especially the marbled rye bread. Only thing he thought was offputting on his sandwich were the pickles - they were more sweet than sour. He ordered fries on the side - he found them dry and didn't eat much of them. Paying your bill: The process is similar to Bob Evan's or any other Coney. Your bills are dropped at your table and you check-out at a register in front of the door. Noble has a Square Register (something I've used many times at other places), and our waitress rang us out. The only part that is uncomfortable here, she asks us "would you like to leave a tip?" This is the first establishment I've been to that has Square that didn't rotate the screen around to the customer to select the kind of tip they want to leave and sign. Instead, the waitress asked us the dollar amount we want to TIP HER and signs for us. It was a bit of an uncomfortable experience and recommend you don't verbally ask your patrons how much you want to tip...a bit unprofessional in my opinion. Rating: Would definitely rate this place a solid 3 stars. The prices are a little higher than eating similar food from a coney, but boasts better ingredients and has GF/veg-friendly choices. Personally, the bowl meal I had I enjoyed thoroughly, but with the account of the other meals and lack of good service, a 3-star is very deserving for Noble. read more

So I'm very confused as to why this place has such high ratings... the food isn't bad... but even a IHOP or the like is better. I got the breakfast platter. Pancake and potatoes were fine... decent but nothing to be excited about. Got egg whites for my eggs and they didn't come drenched in oil or butter so I always appreciate that. But I was excited to see "homemade" sausage bc it's usually better right? No. Zero flavor. I didn't even eat the second one and kinda annoyed I wasted calories on the first one. The pancake was a good size but just meh when it comes to texture and flavor. If I wanted pancakes, I wouldn't come back here. I was excited about the cinnamon homemade syrup but again... did not taste anything better than normal syrup here ‍ Finally I got the cinnamon roll to go. I wanted to eat half and didn't realize they would pack it up cold - which actually could be nice except it revealed the fact that it's a premade, frozen cinnamon roll that they just put frosting on and heat up. Not made in house. After I waited ten mins for her to come back so I could ask for it to be heated... it was fine. No better than a pillsbury roll made at home. Aside from food, there was one waitress for the whole restaurant and she didn't check on me once. I was half done with water when she brought my food. She said she would bring me more but never came back until I flagged her down for the cinnamon roll. Then waited another ten mins for the bill and again at the counter. Yet, the prefilled options for tip were 18, 20 & 25%.... Ha. I don't think so. Plus she overcharged me for the cinnamon roll. Absolutely perfect for anyone with a clean eating lifestyle. While not being pretencious, they offer an amazing amount of vegan/gluten free options/customizations. I visited on a Sunday morning, just before the 11am rush with my mother and sister, and we were seated in a somewhat timely manner. There seemed to not be an efficient seating system, due to not having a designated host/hostess. (upon arrival you write your name and party number on a clipboard). They have a nice, open layout and a casual, somewhat modern country/industrial feel, with pops of homeyness. There were fresh flowers at our table. Once seated, we were quickly greeted by our waitress Katie (she was wonderful). She was knowledgeable of the menu and took our substitutions in stride. I am lactose intolerant and requested the cheese on my House omlette to be on the side as well as substituted sweet potato chips for the breakfast potatoes. When it arrived, the cheese was on the side, as requested, however, small bits of cheese had somehow made their way into the inside of the omlette (only reason it's not a 5 star review) I notified Katie and she quickly had another omlette made for me. Upon overhearing that it was my sister's birthday, Katie informed us that her birthday meal would be free, which was quite unexpected and nice. Unfortunately, there was no coleslaw or maple aioli. Being a new customer, I knew something was missing, but wasn't sure what. Overall, the sandwich was dry and not very warm. It was served with fresh cut fries, which were warmer but were quite soft and somewhat chewy. The kitchen was understandably busy during lunch time, but it was clear that the sandwich (or main ingredients) had been sitting for some time. I think this dish has a lot potential, and hopefully with all ingredients included, it has a better showing than what I experienced. We also ordered the Mitten Breakfast Pizza and it was delicious but very hard to eat! It had lots of flavor, the crust was extra crunchy and crispy. We went on a holiday weekend and although there was a wait, it was pretty minimal. It's a pretty busy restaurant, but it's staffed well, so we barely had to wait. I ordered the Mitten breakfast pizza. A biscuit crust makes a great pizza. The ingredients were fresh and the portion was, honestly, quite a bit larger than I had in mind. But, to be honest, who can resist a giant mitten shaped pizza??! We also got the chicken and waffle sandwich, and boy was that waffle good. It was so fresh and fluffy. The whole combination was great, with the chicken and the bacon...and it all wasn't that oily at all. What I really enjoyed about this place was, that it wasn't soaked in oil. And the ingredients were so so fresh. It's a refreshing restaurant to see in the area, and with time, I'm sure this place is going to boom. What I love most about brunch is the unique menus but my boyfriend usually won't go because most brunch spots are small, overcrowded, and have small portion sizes. Noble is the opposite! Wrap was SO good, chicken was diced, which was great! All wraps should have diced versus shredded chicken, easier to eat without pulling a big piece out with your bite. I had the ranch on the side as l dislike my wraps drowning in dressing. That was good too. But the FRIES! I am a fry snob. They were hand cut, nice and thin, not too thick. Like regular fries. Perfectly hot (they gotta be hot!), crispy, nicely golden brown! So yummy! I took a to-go box for leftovers (half a wrap was all l could manage, great portion. Leftover fries too.) We live close to the area and we've been here a couple times, mostly in hopes we'd have a better experience. I was never really blown away by the food but figured it was a better choice then the other breakfast place closest to us which is Denny's. The second to last time we went, my wife and I both had what looked like multiple beard hairs in our hash browns. They comped our meal and apologized which we appreciated and we hoped it was a fluke. We went back for our final time today. As my wife was finishing up her meal she again found hair in her food and she was done. I opted for a club wrap with fries. Mind you, a $12 club wrap. When I got it, it was very loosely rolled, probably due to the fact that it was 80% mixed greens with just a small amount of some bacon and chicken cubes. After having to re-roll it so everything didn't fall out it tasted pretty much like tough bread and roughage. I think they use the "scratch cooking" and all the other marketing terms as justification to over charge for their subpar food. I work in a bar/restaurant in town and have an idea of good ingredients and amount of food vs. price and Noble just doesn't add up for me. read more

Wow what a fantastic breakfast. I had the waffle Benedict and it was out of this world good. The bernaise sauce was best ever and I can only say that cause wife is not here. This was as good as her homemade from scratch. The special syrup was cinnamon butter and I could almost drink it cause it was so good.
