They have nice seating indoors and outdoors, though it can get sunny if you're in an unshaded table outside. I this is a really cute neighborhood cafe that opened during COVID! I happened to be walking down the Noe area one weekend and came across this cafe. I stopped by for some coffee and pastries, and it was really delicious! Now I try to treat myself on certain Friday mornings before work if I can get up early enough to beat the rush. They open EARLY - much earlier than other coffee shops which is really great because otherwise the only other coffee shops open at 7am are the bigger places such as Blue Bottle, Philz or Starbucks. I like that their pastries are from Kahnfections, but they do mark them up a lot more than other cafes that also carry Kahnfections (I got the same croissant at a different coffee shop for a while $1 less). And while I think this cafe and ambience is super cute, I think their coffee is ok. If you are looking for super solid espresso drinks, I'd go elsewhere, but if you're looking for a cute date spot to meet up with friends, definitely come here! read more

Their menu is a bit confusing as it doesn't really tell you what's in some of the drinks (especially me not being a huge coffee enthusiast). Latte was pretty good. Avocado toast was not just tasty with lots of avocado but also so pretty to look at! We've been to this enormously cafe a few times since it opened. The new outdoor patio is great with socially distanced tables, but they fill up quickly. Last time we went, instead of waiting around for a table we walked over to the Noe Town Square. We agree with another Yelper that these lattes are smooth! We didn't know if it was the almond milk or the espresso that made them so much better than other places.... Also you must get a food item while you are there. While I love dynamo, I'm not always in the mood to walk a half hour to their shop. Noe Cafe usually has a good selection of Dynamo Donuts. If you're in the mood for something savory, go for the bacon and scallion biscuit by Kahnfections! The only thing that keeps me from going more often is their upcharge on almond milk. I guess I understand why cafes might charge 50 cents extra, but IMHO $1 is a little steep especially given that most SF cafes also use top quality regular milk. But for the lactose-intolerant who have no choice, it makes lattes a little too expensive to justify more frequent visits. Just my two cents. read more

Another rating from me, a non-coffee drinker. I came into Noe Cafe on a Sunday morning before work. I was craving croissants the night before and was on a mission to find some in the Noe Valley. This place has indoor and outdoor seating, hand sanitizer is offered. I am now aware that this coffee shop actually gets most if not all their pastries from other places in San Francisco. The doubts are from Dynamo Dounuts, Empanadas are from Pampa BBQ, and the other pastries like croissants, biscuits, scones and many others are from Khanfections. I have also been to Khanfections before and will say those items are good and baked fresh. However, the vibe of the place was cool. The workers were all friendly. I can't comment on the coffee and other drinks but they had many machines and drips going on. I had a plain and almond croissant, both great. read more

Great little neighborhood joint with beautiful plants and ample space outside to enjoy a flat white with your dog in tow. Service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The avocado toast is a must if you're a millennial like me who will never be able to buy a house. I'm walking back from a dentist appointment (which also just started opening up still in the tide pools of a global pandemic). I spotted it was opening day! I popped in for an Iced Coffee. It was delicious...I wanted it a little sweet so they added some turbinado (though simple syrup would probable mix better). Thought I was an early bird for going out for a sunrise hike at Tank Hill/Mount Sutro then coming here for a morning coffee, but of course there are even earlier birds roaming sf in the morning & getting their fix. I don't know about the food or drinks here because I never got what I had ordered in the first place. I ordered an americano - for those who are not initiated, that is a shot of espresso with hot water. Despite the sophistication and pretense behind such a drink, I had faith in the team here to rise to the occasion. We stopped by here to grab a quick coffee while we waited for brunch and wait we did, right next to the pickup spot. After 10 minutes everyone else who came in with us had gotten their order, some of which had much more ingredients than espresso with water. After 20 minutes, the rest of our party had to go back to make sure we don't miss our table. However the final straw for me was when shortly after someone about 5-6 orders behind me had an americano given to him with a "sorry for the wait" and a smile. When I checked in on my order they revealed that the order is ...not found, told me it's coming now and quickly poured some drip coffee into a cup. At this point, I was just trying to get back to my group and I didn't even realize until halfway down the street that I had waited 25 minutes to get something I didn't even want. I'm not one to normally feel so strongly about these things to talk about negative experiences with food service. It's a tough job and it's not my intent to make life harder. However it's been a long time since I've had an experience like this and thought my perspective was one worth considering in order to do better. read more

Morning Bun 7/10 was a bit stale and a bit too sweet which given it was late so maybe thats why. Seasonal Scone 7/10. They also have There Does Not Exist Brewery craft beer and can drink it there. The most popular neighborhood coffee shop for sure! There is always a line outside - be it for coffee or beer, at any point during the day. They have outdoor small seating and the interiors are done up in a simple and classy way. This cafe is on the 'Slow street' and so you will always find joggers, strollers, dogs, kids, etc, running around and playing around the cafe hence, there is always a buzz around. The coffee is great, though expensive, their draft beers are great too. Haven't tried out anything to eat here though I know that they have live taco stand on certain days. The staff is very very sweet and helpful. The only thing I wished they had here are heaters. Its pretty windy most times here and it would be great to cozy up next to a heater to beat the chill. read more

Visiting Noe Cafe on weekends for an afternoon of Aperol Spritzes has been a much needed respite from the monotony of quarantine life. Friday through Sunday, they stay open til 7 and serve local beer and spritzes. Their newly built patio is a dreamy scene on a warm, sunny weekend... perfect for meeting friends or dog watching. And the service is top notch! They do their best to make you comfortable on their spacious outdoor patio, from adding chairs to moving umbrellas for extra shade. I'm already a regular, and plan to keep up this love affair long into the future. One of my fave neighborhood cafes . It's located on Sanchez St, which has been a "quiet" street for a long time now, and helps maintain its neighborhood charm. They also have a surprising number of tables outside which buys you some time to enjoy your morning coffee. The folks who work here are so sweet and so quick - I've never not had a pleasant interaction here. Noe has a rotating menu of baked goods from different cafes including Kahnfections and Dynamo Donuts. Definitely try their vegetarian quiche ($4.75) - it's the flakiest quiche I've ever had ! 4.5/5 Noe Cafe is my roommates and I go-to nearby cafe for coffee, snacks, and working. They have a great outdoor setup to lounge at or work on some stuff to get done too. Their inside is not open yet and there aren't outlets outside though so I would keep that in mind before visiting. Their regular and matcha lattes are solid, both my go-to orders. They also sell dynamo donuts here which was always so excellent. For savory, amongst many baked good options they also sell really good empanadas. Their mushroom one is my personal fave. The staff is always very friendly and carry the uplifting environment with them as well.
