This was the second time we have been to Noe. I remember the 1st time was good, but I don't remember it being excellent. This time, however, was amazing! Every dish we ordered was mouth watering. My children also enjoyed their pizza and rigatoni from the keiki menu. The indoor part is very relaxing and has a nice, calming artsy deco. We were seated outdoors just like the 1st time. I can say that the 1st time we went it was hot and humid outdoors. I would recommend having outdoor seating during cooler months. With validation the valet parking is free. Wife and I had gotten married at the 4 Seasons (formerly Ihilani) 8 years ago and hadn't gone back since. Tonight we had finally gone back to have our wedding anniversary dinner at Noe (formerly Azul). After dropping off our vehicle at the valet (complimentary) we had gone done the grand stairway which led straight to Noe where he had been greeted by the host and hostess. We were seated within minutes after checking in even though we were early for our reservation. We were then greeted by our assistant server and then our primary waitress, Vanessa. She hands down made tonight the best experience we've had dining in at a restaurant. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and also items that were not presented on the menu eg bourbons that are not listed on the drink menu. My also pointed out that she had the most soothing voice which even from all the barrage of questions we had asked her never fell off tone, very calm and professional under pressure. Oh and she accommodated a few special requests as you'll see in my review of the food items below. Appetizers: - Ahi Tonnato Carpaccio: tuna confit aioli, brioche, capers, sea asparagus & limu salsa verde - we are fresh fish lovers so we had to get this dish...my wife ended up eating most of it because it was that good. - Whipped Ricotta: truffle honey, marcona almonds, house-made focaccia - the sweet from the honey went well with the ricotta which may look thick but it isn't because it's whipped. Entrees: - Lobster Spaghetti: spicy pomodoro, opal basil, calabrian chili - I always gravitate towards seafood so I had to get this and I was surprised by how big the serving size was and they gave a ton of lobster meat which was hiding under the pasta noodles in addition to the lobster tail. A must have! - Noe Signature Tagliatelle: seasonal truffle, mushroom, parmigiana reggiano - my wife loved her truffle and mushrooms but she also wanted some sort of seafood so Vanessa requested to have King Crab added which made the wife super happy. Also a must have! Desserts: apologize for butchering the actually dessert names, can't find them anywhere any online menus since they're fairly new. - Green Tea ice cream with Yuzu: the presentation was beautiful with the white chocolate, the citrusy zest taste from the yuzu really complimented the green tea ice cream. - Lilikoi Sorbet: another beautiful presentation with the sorbet, but you'll be fan of the dish if you're a Lilikoi because it hits the spot. - Complimentary s'mores: I personally wasn't a fan because I never did have a palette for burnt marshmallows. The dessert was served on a beautiful wood board with a Happy Anniversary message which gave me extra points on the wife . Drinks: - Mojito - wife loves any mojito and loved Noe's mix - Lililokoi Passion (usually virgin) but the wife added rum because she figures it would help spice up the night - Bourbon - I had a few glasses neat and always goes well with a nice dinner Thank you to Vanessa and the Noe staff for the awesome experience!!! Everyone was so friendly, courteous, kind from as soon as we got to the valet, hostess taking us to our table, waiter explaining about the menu selections and even the people refilling our water. Went to Noe for a special birthday celebration. The ambiance was great! It's al fresco-- my favorite type of seating. If you like outdoor seating this is the perfect spot. It's romantic, dim, and perfect for a date night. The service was good. Hokulani was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable about food and wine. I felt like something was lacking, however. I wished for some sort of interactive dish for example something that could be prepared table side or at least a dish that required the wait staff to pour sauce or something on my food table side. The pasta here is made fresh! It was delicious. We ordered the tagliatelle and the chefs tasting menu ($115). The tasting menu came with an appetizer, primi, a secondi, and a dolce. The kanpachi crudo was very cool, fresh, and tasty. The pasta was a crab pasta. I don't remember the exact name but it I wanted more sauce. I don't even remember what the pasta sauce was but I wanted more from this dish. As a secodi, I had a filet mignon which is not my fave cut but I tried to give it a go. It was plated well and tasted as expected. The last of the tasting menu was dessert. I got the lilikoi semifredo. When it came out it felt small. I felt that it was plated on the wrong plate. It tasted great but I was so focused on the large, empty plate it was distracting. Everyone raves about the tagliatelle so my husband ordered it. Note that we are pretty fresh off of an ahhhhmazing Italian vacay so expectations were very high. I must say the tagliatelle in fact, was pretty bomb. I wanted more! I don't remember what bottle of wine I had but it was a red, Italian wine that went perfectly with the meal. The wine list is extensive. Everyone will be able to find a wine in all price ranges. Been to Noe twice with my boyfriend and we were waited on by Hokulani and Kevin. Both of them were super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They were both very friendly and we hope that they'll be our servers in the future! The food was phenomenal; I had the truffle pasta and my boyfriend had the pasta Al forno. We had enough to bring home it was a big portion! I only wish they had the option to pay for extra shaved truffle, but that's me just being a huge truffle lover! The appetizer ricotta with honey is everything you can ever dream of, I hope they never take it off the menu. We've had every single dessert, they're all delicious. We celebrated our little girl's 8th birthday here since she loves pasta. The pasta is fresh made daily and you can tell. The tomato sauce is sooo good. I decided to order from the tasting menu and I wasn't disappointed. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee is 45. The food was amazing and so was the service. The meatballs and the Hamachi Crudo is a must. We also ordered the squid and it was ok. The Noe Signature pasta was epic. The mushrooms and the truffle....perfect pairing. I'll be honest, the idea of Italian food while in Hawaii seemed silly to me. But after dining at Noe twice, I think this is definitely a worthwhile stop, specifically if you're already in the area. I don't know if I'd journey from Waikiki JUST for Noe, but if you're staying in Ko'Olina, than you should lock in a reservation. First off, the atmosphere and ambiance here is fantastic. The outdoor seating area is great and with the lit trees, and sound of the koi ponds, you're really given an extraordinary dining experience. The food is fantastic. I'd say the first time we came, the food was good but didn't blow my mind. The most recent time, the food was top notch. We ordered TWO of the whipped ricotta appetizers. It's such a different appetizer and quite exceptional! For entrees, we went with the truffle tagliatelle and the chicken Marsala. Truffle pasta is always the way to go, no gimmicks. You get good size pieces of shaved truffle. The chicken was a home run. Unexpectedly delicious. Skin was nice and crispy and the meat was juicy. Really one of the best chicken dishes I've had in a while. Will definitely come back here whenever we stay in Ko'Olina. read more

I highly suggest this restaurant if you're looking for a nice, quiet, romantic date night. My girlfriend and I were seated toward the end of the restaurant, which was a nice experience as we had a view of the fish pond and sun set behind the trees. We ordered the ricotta whip appetizer (amazing!!!) And the ahi app. Both were delicious, but we definitely loved the ricotta whip much better. For our entrees my gf ordered the tagliatelle and I got the beef cheek. The tagliatelle was cooked perfect al dente, and the beef cheek was delicious and very flavorful. Our favorite dining experience this trip. Food at this four seasons is fantastic!! Every restaurant we've eaten at including in room dining has been delightful and delicious. Even with that, Noe is a clear winner! Their pastas are done so well that I always contemplate ordering the same dish twice on the same night. Every server we had here was extremely personable and added a lot of value to the overall experience. I have no doubts this would be a Michelin restaurant if they entertained such a rating in hawaii. I highly highly recommend the signature tagliatelle and beef meatballs. My husband liked the lobster spaghetti and crab capanelle. You really can't go wrong with anything here - from appetizers to pastas to the broccolini sides, we honestly loved everything. We just had personal preferences for specific items. Tagliatelle though was a top contender for both of us. Make sure to make a reservation - I believe they are on open table or you can secure one through the four seasons concierge. Intimate fine dinning was an experience I will never forget. I was invited for dinner and was immediately amazed at the open air concept and how very attentive the waiters and servers were. They gave us ideas of what is to order, which made it more difficult because all of it sounded so good! And you can even customize your order for your tasting and even food allergies. We ordered our drinks I had the Spritzer Della Casa I was told it was a lighter cocktail and was pleasantly surprise on how the flavors married together perfectly. For starters we had the Italian Classic Whipped Ricotta, truffle honey and almond, this was divine! We shared the mushroom & asparagus salad this was light and delightful. For my entree I had the Noe signature tagliatelle with mushroom and truffle it was cooked to perfection. My dinner companions both had whole wheat bucatini which was unique rabbit ragu, dried morel. They both raved about it and would order it again. Desserts were so light and not too heavy the whole meal was just enough to stimulate the taste buds and wanting for more unique flavors. I am so sad to have to write this review because I had SUCH high expectations for this restaurant as not only part of a Four Seasons property but also given the other Yelp reviews and highly rated chef. Where do I begin? We paid $460 for dinner for two to get attitude from our server, have over cooked pasta, and a bland filet mignon served with a side of soggy Romain lettuce. Let's start with our waiter...he was an actor for sure. There wasn't an ounce of genuineness displayed from him. Which was fine, in all honesty, I didn't mind being his audience, until I told him that my Pinot Grigio was not chilled (it was room temperature at best). After making a scene and causing me to feel like the worst and most high maintenance guest ever, he darted off to the back and acted like he was going to throw away the whole bottle of wine to offer me a new "properly chilled" bottle. It only got worst from that moment. His attitude toward me and my husband was just terrible the rest of the time. We were...those people, to him. All because I said my wine wasn't cold and I was surprised by that.... The food was mediocre and not what I expected. My expectations for Italian food are high, I'll be honest. But our pasta dish was made with over cooked pasta (not even close to Al dente) and contained zucchini, cherry tomato and king crab leg...one might expect a creamy sauce for this or something? But no...it was perhaps a white wine sauce? I mean there was just nothing to it. It was literally some veggies, pasta and random king crab thrown in a dish together. Not sophisticated at all. Keep in mind, we didn't the Chef's Tasting Menu and so this was supposed to showcase his dishes. Yikes. The filet I mentioned above was tasteless. I don't ever ask for salt on anything. This meat needed salt. It was served with soggy lettuce (see picture) that I couldn't even cut into...it totally missed the mark. Also, the size between my steak and my husbands was notably different which made for a good laugh, I must say. How could you not see this in the kitchen? The pictures don't do it justice but trust me, his steak was maybe 1/3 the size of mine. The other thing was the general appearance and overall experience. I saw two people in the restaurant with shorts and no shoes. The fact that the host doesn't enforce a dress code is problematic. It takes away from other guests' experience. It lowers the standards considerably. If I wanted a causal dining experience I would have gone elsewhere. To make matters worse, when we arrived for our reservation the hostess told us we could wait outside of the restaurant for our table (because it wasn't ready) or we could go to the lounge. She didn't show us to the lounge or anything...she just stood there. Again, this isn't a fine dining experience and this is NOT the service I expect at the Four Seasons property. Sadly across the board I have to say this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. And, all of that to waste nearly $500 on what was supposed to be my husbands birthday celebration. read more

Noe Italian is a beautifully located restaurant in the four seasons hotel in Ko Olina. They have remodeled and occupy the same space as the former Azul restaurant that was previously in this location. The staff is exceptional; communicative, welcoming and accommodating. I love the outdoor lighting and ambiance. There was parking validation included with dining at Noe Italian. I believe it's for up to 4 hours, so there is enough time to walk around the four seasons property before or after a meal here. There is a good variety of menu selections to choose from, whether you prefer meat, bread, pasta, seafood or vegetables. All of the dishes I have tried here are to die for, it's sooooo good! The price is a little on the high side, but reasonable considering the type of restaurant, ambiance, service and quality of food you get. It's the perfect place for a romantic dinner, small celebrations and/or special occasions. Looking forward to coming back for more steak, pasta and honey focaccia. It is divine! They really made my girlfriend and I anniversary dinner as great as it could be. Location/ parking: Noe is located at the Four Seasons hotel in Ko Olina on Oahu. They'll be on the bottom level of the hotel near the chapel. Parking is valet at the Four Seasons if your going to dine here. Me and my girlfriend were staying at the Four Seasons when we dined here for our anniversary. Service/ Ambiance: Noe has a modern contemporary look for the inside dining part of the restaurant. It's definitely very clean and beautiful looking but I have to say it's even better and more intimate looking for there outside dining. They really have very elegant outside decor and it's very peaceful with the koi pond area on the out skirts of the outside. Service over here is top notch and just excellent. They'll check temps at the front and ask for contact tracing. All staff are very friendly, attentive and very efficient. Of course all were wearing masks and gloves. Our waitress was so very kind and knowledgeable with the menu. She really took care of us by recommending dishes we'd possibly like and as well as setting up a meal course that was perfect for what we was looking for. We can't say enough on how excellent our waitress was and the service here by the staff. Food: The food here at Noe is so very good. Every dish that we order was mind blowing good and very delicious. We started with the carpaccio for an appetizer which was so so good. A must try for sure. As for our main dishes we had them split so my girlfriend and I could each have a taste of these two dishes. We ordered the signature truffle tagliatelle and veal milanese. Both are very flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed both dishes and definitely highly recommend both dishes. As for dessert we was given a complimentary dessert by the chef since we were celebrating our anniversary. The dessert was dessert was a good way to top of an amazing dining experience at Noe. This meal didn't disappoint, every dish we had was amazing. Noe is up there with some of the best Italian food I've had anywhere in the world. To start, we had the Buratta, it was SPECTACULAR, it's shocking the don't talk this up as the houses signature dish. Hands down the best I've ever had. Then we shared the Crab pasta, which was light and fresh, and perfectly cooked fresh pasta. Finally we shared 2 main courses, he Lobster spaghetti, and the Scallops. Neither disappointed. The spaghetti was really thick, I had asked if it was Pici, cooked perfectly, loaded with lobster in a fresh and light tomato sauce. I had high expectations for Noe based from the 5 star reviews, the location being inside Four Seasons and the food price itself. I hate that I did not love our dining experience here given it was our anniversary. Setting: The ambiance is nice (if they seat you outside). Indoors was somewhat lacking. There were little fruit flies and me swatting them away frequently from touching my son's food, I suppose one of the servers would have noticed. So I had to ask our server to do something about it, he gave us a fly fan which made it look like we're in an outdoor meat or fish market. But of course, I'm grateful he tried, sadly, it didn't help. Food: We ordered the whipped ricotta, beef carpaccio, noe signature tagliatelle, fish special and pasta al forno. I enjoyed the first two especially the carpaccio. The tagliatelle never arrived (sad). The fish was cooked well but somewhat lacked flavor. The pasta al forno was nothing spectacular. For dessert, which I was excited about hoping to make up for the experience; I ordered the Gianduja Rocher. Boy, I never knew how it tasted because they gave us Tiramisu instead...with a Happy Birthday note! My husband and I just laughed it off and asked our server to box it. Server: He was courteous and kind, but I don't think he paid much attention to our orders. First, he forgot the tagliatelle (which he recommended) and then sent us tiramisu instead (which he gave us as complimentary- thank you- for our birthday, err, anniversary). Going through my unpublished review list and saw this gem! How did I forget to click post? We've managed to visit here several times the last few years and enjoyed it each time. While the resort and restaurant are closed until renovations are complete mid-March, I'm looking forward to this spot reopening! Anything on the menu is good, especially the papaya app, whipped ricotta and the crab pasta --a few appetizers, pasta and dessert make a great meal. I remember they also had a vegan menu if you have a preference or dietary restriction, which I thought looked good and was thoughtful. One time, we had a small group, when groups could comfortably dine and tried a few entrees too like the brick chicken piccata sort of dish and the fish. Both were shareable and tasty! Drinks-wise, I found the wine selection good, the hot water with lemon of course and they even had a small selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Some Yelpers said it was a bit dark and if that or al fresco nature (i.e., bugs) bother you post-sunset, then indoor seating can be a perfect compromise--they left the doors open next to us and we had a nice fresh air breeze while dining in a well-lit air conditioned dining area (ok probably not eco friendly in that way). We saw locals, young families and people celebrating 50th anniversaries--so I think there's something for everyone here and it's a great occasion spot. The food is okay, the pasta is good but you could get similar quality pasta for $30 at other places instead of $60. The $220 rib eye is a major disappointment. The steak is lean, rubbery, and underwhelming. I can get a fantastic display of tomahawk steak, 2x portion with bone marrow in NY for 220 at similar grade restaurant. Considering its price point, I think the AmaAma next door in Aulani is a way better choice, with the beach ocean view, and Michelin quality food. read more

Noe at the Four Seasons met my expectations. We made reservations online at 5:00pm. I've grown accustomed to eating early. You get attentive wait staff and a less crowded restaurant. The interior is sort of like walking into a rich women's mansion. There's soft colors, intricate doorway molding, drapes, and fancy chandeliers. The interior screams intimate upscale luxury. I liked it though. The restaurant is half inside and half outside. We chose inside to avoid the sun. The service was very attentive. Daniel was our server I believe. Very knowledgeable. We ordered the meatballs, caprese salad, tagliatelle, and ravioli. The caprese was refreshing. The tagliatelle was very good. I was skeptical about the flavor being too rich, or maybe too earthy. But I was wrong. The pasta was perfect. I believe it was the chef that came to our table to drop off the dishes. The ravioli was delicious as well. I think the only thing I didn't care for was the meatballs. The presentation was nice, but flavor-wise it didn't knock my socks off like the other dishes. For dessert, I got a macchiato and because it was a birthday celebration, I got a cake. We also ordered another dessert, but I forgot the name. The dishes was all good. This is one of my favorite fine dining places. We were lucky to go pre covid and they just reopened so we got reservations opening day. Nothing but exceptional service and attention to detail. Complementary 4hour valet when dining in but not staying at the hotel. Temperature screening upon arrival. We got a little turned around and one FS employee walked us the whole way where we needed to go. We sat down at our reservation time and ordered burrata for a starter. The burrata was excellent but I wish they finished it with a little flaky sea salt. The two entrees included the lobster spaghetti and tagliatelle. The lobster arrived in shell and was a nice portion, not chopped up bits already mixed in. The tagliatelle is still my favorite. So decadent. They asked what we were celebrating and it was a combo of anniversary, birthday and graduation! They gave us a sweet treat to finish an amazing dinner. Favorite place to celebrate special occasions. We had a 7:30 reservation but were hungry earlier. They accommodated our hunger needs and sat us early. Prior to being seated we got a glass of wine at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and a great help in regard to local spots to check out. Once seated, we had Jacque (Jackie) as our server. She was very professional, informative and attentive. We opted for one tasting menu and we added the spicy lobster spaghetti. The tasting menu was enough to feed two of us! All of the dishes were fresh and tasty. Great Italian restaurant at the Four Seasons. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, great food. Wish the wine selections had a bit more refreshing Italian wines considering the climate. Our party ended up getting the fixed menu and the prices were very fair considering it being 4 courses. Place books fast so I recommend booking as early as possible if traveling to the island for vacation. I believe we booked a month in advance. read more

The atmosphere created by the lush and varying environments is unmatched. I would come back just to sit in a different area of the restaurant. The quality of the food was equivalent to that of the ambiance of the restaurant. I personally got the half jidori chicken, and it was fantastic! everything we ordered as standard menu options were amazing, however we also ordered the chef's stuffed raviolis and skillet pasta of the day and they were only good to so so - the tagliatelle is divine and an absolute must order. they were very kind and split it in two plates for us, and ended up being just the right amount - the whipped ricotta is also quite special; the honeycomb pairs perfectly and was a total hit for everyone at our table - the meatballs were solid, but maybe not completely necessary. our baby ate it though, which made it a total win for us we would absolutely come back and try more off this menu, but order much less because we didn't come anywhere close to finishing it all (the pasta al forno was massive, and made for great leftovers the next day). also, would likely order their espresso martinis over their signature negroni -- which i enjoyed, but my wife found too masculine for her liking gorgeous evening setting with great service; not sure you can ask for much more than that thank you for a wonderful experience! we will definitely be back again the next time we visit ko olina read more

Came here for dinner for the very first time. Tried the chef choice, 4 course dinner. Started with the ahi which was flattened raw ahi drizzled with olive oil and salt. It also had sea asparagus cut over the ahi, along with dabs of aioli cream with a sliver of radish. It was amazing! 2nd was the pasta which was shaped like a thinner won ton. It was perfectly el dente. The pasta also had king crab meat. Not much, but sort of enough. More is always better though. It was kinda like a pesto olive oil sauce which was good. The filet was small and just alright. We also tried the lobster spaghetti. By the looks of it, the noodles looked swollen like udon or canned noodle looking, but it was nice and chewy how I like my noodles. There was also a good portion of lobster. (Whole tail). It had a tomato sauce that was light and perfect. We also tried the tiramisu. It was really good. I think they called it the backwards tiramisu, as it is not prepared like the typical tiramisu you see at Italian restaurants. It hit the spot. Overall, the atmosphere was really nice. The food for the most part was great! Only thing I wasn't impressed with was the filet mignon. It was really small, not really tender, and had a liver taste on it. Can't put my finger on it, but wasn't so good. I definitely would come back, as our waiter was very attentive rive and fantastic. Food came out fast. read more

Wow. This was the most memorable dinner I have ever had. I have been wanting to write this review for the longest time but wanted to make sure I touched on everything. This restaurant is nestled in amongst The Four seasons in Ko'olina with a gorgeous picturesque garden in the background. It was my husbands and I's birthday/anniversary and we got a gorgeous table outside. The restaurant is beautiful but hands down the best service I have ever had by anyone ever...James. He made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant maybe even the only people on the island he was so good. Every time he left the table we would be in awe of how good he treated us. I think he was our only topic at dinner in fact. I ordered a wine and my husband ordered an old fashioned. Wow beautiful presentation, look at the pictures the ice cube has the Noe stamp on it. Mike Mulligan is the bartender and I hear he has quite a reputation as the best bartender on the island. We ordered the endive salad, smoked octopus, lobster spaghetti and I believe a duck pappardelle. Everything was the freshest and prepared beautifully. We had a great time in Oahu for 3 nights, but the first thing we talk about is our dinner that night. We will definitely be going back next time. We try to make it to Oahu at least once a year. We also met Mike Mulligan on our way out and he's just as great as James!!!! read more
