Quite possibly the best, most intimate, classiest restaurant on the Leeward side, par excellence! Kapolei might become the new Honolulu someday, as far as epicurean eateries are concerned. But that time is still a long way off. Nor do I see that happening in the next 5-10 years. So where do you go if you find yourself in the Kapolei area and need to celebrate a special event with ohana & loved ones? The obvious (only) choice is Ko'olina... the not so obvious but oh so correct choice is Noe. Hidden between Mina's Fish House and the Poolside bar is this amazing oasis of culinary perfection. Reservations recommended .... however... if you show up you might be able to obtain a table anyway....there seems to be a widespread trend among some "lolo malihini" to make 20 or 30 reservations on line for places they might want to dine, then purposely or unpurposely not cancel any of them. This creates an artificial "booked solid" state which is completely false and misleading as well as devastating to our local businesses already suffering from the economic, political and apolitical effects of Covid. As it were, it took us 2 months to make reservations but we achieved them at last. It was well worth the wait. In our case, just taking a chance on walking in and hoping for a table just wasn't optimal for this particular event. The dining experience was flawless. Food, ambiance, surroundings, value.... all at a price much lower than a similar establishment in say Waikiki. The swordfish was amazing with an understated tender richness coupled with nuances of spices, macadamia, and olives. The filet mignon was tender, and superbly plated... served with a variety of sautéed veggies that paired well together. The waiter gave us free focaccia with "extra vergine" olive oil for dipping. So gracious and kind-- the staff here are as exquisite as the cuisine! Tante Grazie! Capping off the evening was a splendid sunset that showcased a lovely moonrise as well as appearances of the planets Venus, and Mercury in the western sky. Highly recommended. I've been to Noe several times and enjoyed myself each visit! To start, the customer service is top notch! The bartender in the wait area is AMAZING! Such a genuinely nice guy and very knowledgeable about his craft. The wait staff are always friendly, professional, and attentive. The food is great and always consistent with their quality. To start I always order the ahi carpaccio and the burrata (ask for extra focaccia bread to enjoy it with). My go-to is and will possibly always be the Tagliatelle with truffle and mushrooms. The good stuff...The chef is from Japan and studied in Italy for 10 years. You can see that combination in his dishes. The Chicken Marsala had Maitake Mushrooms along with pine nuts, Kale, and Marsala Chicken Jus was amazing. Chef Takatsuka brings a unique Umami to Italian dishes. The location and view is spectacular. Unfortunately, our server was too busy with a large party to actually serve us. We saw him once at our table before our food was served and then watched him walk by us to take care of his larger party / larger tip many times without even looking at us. Sitting outside on their gorgeous outdoor terrace under the strung lights and listening to the running water of the mini waterfalls of the Four Seasons makes this a perfect date night spot. Their southern Italian fare is divine and we've always enjoyed every dish we've ordered. We were seated inside in a private booth with a curtain draped entry. The vibe was relaxed and romantic. The menu was filled with a good selection of food for everyone. What caught my attention was the Vegan category on the menu. It was difficult to decide what to order. I finally opted for the Lentil Ragout and the Eggplant Caponata side. My bf selected the snapper and endive & radicchio salad with a few spirits. We split a Tropical Pavlova for dessert. Our food arrived in appropriate stages, was artistically plate and amazing in flavor, taste and seasoning. Our favorite was the eggplant side. I could've just ordered 2 of those for dinner and been more than content. Service was exceptional from greeter to server. Our server, Vanessa, was patient, polite, attentive, helpful and friendly. I made a reservation for my family of 6. The staff was very friendly in getting us sat and spent the time to explain the menu and all the options . I decided to take the recommendation from the waiter and ordered the pasta Al forno. It had sausage a white sauce and massive shell pasta. It was really good, and highly recommended. It was massive as well, could have shared it between two people. The truffle pasta was also tasty and the bolognese was decent. Not the best but not the worst. The food was delicious but pricey. I believe it was around $50 for 4 scallops and some root vegetables. The best dish was the chef special, to die for and a kilo of pasta. The service was on spot. They never fail to ignore your needs. But most of all, the food was *chefs kiss! Everything was so delicious and carefully crafted. True delicacy. Love the Asian fusion into the traditional Italian cuisine. I took my toddler and he had an amazing experience too. First they gave him the premium coloring set with multi page coloring book. The kid menu offered variety. The water cup was so cute and sturdy. We just loved everything about it and can't wait to come back and try more food next time. The restaurant itself has a beautiful layout and it's very clean both inside and outside. Our server Joshua was so nice and did a very good job at explaining each item on the menu. Also ordered their espresso martinis which were best I've had! The food was absolutely delicious; definitely recommend their truffle tagliatelle and the whipped ricotta! The ricotta was light yet creamy and served with honey to spread on their housemade focaccia. A dynamic combination! The eggplant and their king crab pasta were also delicious. The highlight for me was definitely their signature tagliatelle. The noodles were cooked perfectly al dente; the flavors of the truffle really stood out but wasn't too overpowering which I find can be the challenge of many truffle dishes. Overall, very pleased with the food and would love to come back to try more of their pasta dishes! Ambience/service: Absolutely gorgeous. They have a very romantic setting with multiple types of seating arrangements. The whipped ricotta and venison is my favorite. Service is top tier. 1. Complementary Bread and oil: who doesn't love free fluffy bread 2. Kids Rigatoni Bolognese: My kids loved it. Great flavor. 3. Whipped Ricotta - truffle honey, marcona almonds, house-made focaccia: I'd honestly come back just for this. The honey and the ricotta pairs so well together and is even more amazing with bread. 4. Meatballs - smoked scamorza, parmesan fonduta: My son ate this as part is his meal and demolished it. He's a very picky eater, so this was definitely a home run. 5. Noe Signature Tagliatelle - seasonal truffle, mushroom, parmigiana reggiano: Pasta was perfectly Al dente and flavor was full and rich. 6. Venison - Black trumpette crusted, lingonberry, pearl barley, fiddlehead fern, salsify, truffle sauce, juniper berries: I would also come back just for this. We started with the Whipped Ricotta and shared the Noe Signature Tagliatelle - both delicious! My little mister had the Hawaiian pizza for his main course and a scoop of chocolate ice cream with sprinkles to round out his meal. He was a happy camper. My daughter ordered the half Jidori chicken that had a creamy caper sauce and Okinawan sweet potato and a side of kale. The Mister ordered the Venison. If we're being completely honest, though very soft and savory, this dish was very very small. Seemed to be more of an appetizer size than a full size meal. I had the Veal Milanese and this was thee star of the show. 12oz, bone in, panko crusted and blanketed with lemon truffle arugula salad with a small side of cherry tomatoes. One of the most horrible dinners I have ever experienced, let alone totally ruining my wife's birthday dinner. Let's start off with the seating. Right next to the entrance door in the corner. Personal note: Good job to our waiter for dropping an entire plate of pasta which I got to witness since my view was of the entrance. We asked if we could be seated outside or elsewhere but due to the weather and every table being reserved they couldn't accommodate just me and my wife. Seriously? Just two of us and you couldn't find a better area to put a small table except behind the entrance door tucked in the corner? Second was the food. We have been to Noe's before and enjoyed the pasta. This time we shared one order of the bolognese and it was literally three bites each and the pasta was gone. Granted we also ordered entrees but seriously. The taste was also mediocre. I told my wife that I would have enjoyed a can of Spaghetti'os more than these three bites. We also ordered the Burrata which was an absolute joke. Mozzarella, tomato, papaya which totaled maybe 5 bites. Tomato and papaya was not even that fresh. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had the Jidori Chicken. We got there at 5:15pm and didn't get our entree till almost 7pm. The entree was also okay and was such small portions. I had the sparkling water and my wife had a beer and two glasses of wine. I would expect that for an over $300 meal for two I would at least leave full. Instead I got fed little mediocre food for 2 1/2 hours and left still hungry. You literally could not pay me $1000 to endure this absolutely unpleasant dining experience again. read more

Visited Noe Italian located at Four Seasons Koolina recently for an amazing dinner! It was my first time here & my coworker was raving about it so I was so very excited to finally be able to try. We were greeted by very professional hostesses & escorted to our table. We had a lovely table overlooking the quaint courtyard with a bunch of lanterns hanging from the trees - super romantic! Our server gave us the full rundown of the menu as well as brought out some wines for me to taste before I picked a full glass. Amazing. Anyways, here's how the food went: Burrata- the tomato consommé made this dish light & refreshing. Perfect way to start our dinner. Noe Signature Tagliatelli- if I could've had this as my main, I would have! The dish was split into 2 for us already so we wouldn't have to fight over it LOL. Filet mignon w/ supplement foie gras- my absolute favorite cut of steak cooked just right. And they did not skimp on the foie gras! Lobster spaghetti - a heaping mound of red sauce pasta with lobster tail. It was so much food that we ended up packing the noodles to go! I do wish there was a bit more ~stuff~ in the dish (literally just the lobster tail) but the noodles were perfectly chewy & bouncy & the sauce was very very delicious. We were tooooo stuffed for dessert unfortunately (we always do this LOL). This was definitely a splurge but I cannot wait to visit again for a romantic date night out sometime! read more

WHAT a beautiful restaurant! Then again, should one expect anything else from a Four Seasons property? The food was phenomenal. As others have noted, the mushroom tagliatelle was delicious. I also highly recommend getting dessert at Noe. Their pastry chef has outdone himself/herself! What I'd like to really focus on is the ambiance and the positive attitudes of the staff. So many at the restaurant had young children in tow - us included, and Noe staff was patient, kind, and welcoming. As a parent, going to a nice restaurant with a young child is a risk... you never know how it will be. But, I'd just like to say that our 4 year old son felt welcomed and left happy. read more

Ambience overall is good but it depends on where you are seated. If you are seated in the upper outside area (right outside the doors) its horrible - its loud, too bright and heavy foot traffic and completely ruins the experience. Unfortunately have been sat there 3x now - asked two of those times to be moved and was told they could not. They could rearrange it and fix lighting to make it as nice as the lower terrace. They also have a few tables where you are seated right next to each other rather than across which I personally find awkward and not a good set up for conversation- but others may like it. Service typically is good but last time our server was obviously swamped - he did his best but long waits. Food is usually excellent but I did order the venison special last time which I have alot of experience with cooking and eating and this was bland and dry. read more

From the resort's iconic stairs that overlook their luscious landscape to our dining table, I couldn't help but say "wooowww" every second. We ended up ordering: Ahi Tonnato Carpaccio - Fresh. Delicious. Good App to start with. Meatballs - GET THESE. It comes with two delicious, flavorful meatballs. I wish I just ordered a plate for myself. Saffron Campanelle - You can definitely taste the lemon and crab in this dish. It's light and bright and easy to eat. I was thrown off with the first bite because I've never had such a lemon forward dish before, but I quickly found myself addicted to the flavor and couldn't put my fork down. Stuffed Pasta Special - I forget what it was called. But this dish was huge and is mean to be shared with two people! The noodles were like big shells covered in red sauce, pork (pork I believe), whipped ricotta cheese (i think?) and bread crumbs. It. Was. Delicious. Definitely get this if it's on special. Get it for yourself. Take the rest to go so you have a meal for tomorrow lol. Lemon Crostata - Reminded me of a lemon bar...but better. I really liked it and destroyed it. Their truffle mushroom pasta was soooo delicious.. the lobster was cooked perfecto and my son loves his ragu pasta.. our server, Daniel was so friendly and super polite... we were very happy with this dinner!
