Walked in randomly and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The service was fast I was in and out the door in 15 minutes. The pizza was nice and hot and very delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some wings or one of their sandwiches. The restaurant itself is not that big but there is eating for up to 15 people and the ambiance is neutral no lucks being played at all.

Second time here for pickup so they could remake the pizza to which they didn't add all the toppings I paid for!

Since I've been patronising this location since 2015, I've updated my review a couple times to reflect how the place has changed over the years. In 2016, it was great - both the food and the service. The past couple of years, though, quality has diminished. I've had horrible experiences with some of the employees, and while the manager does provide skilled customer care, my most recent experience here will be my last. I was inconvenienced, treated rudely, and still didn't get the correct order I paid for (I was told they had no way to refund me, so my only option was to lose my money or have them make my order again). Other than the manager (or whoever was the manager in April of this year), the employees here are AWFUL. They boast they have their own delivery drivers! Great! And one of them screamed in my face when I opened my door to him, because he claimed I didn't put my gate code in my delivery instructions. (I did, actually. It was even on the receipt in his hand.) Yesterday, 20 December, I placed a pick-up order for a pizza with 6 toppings: sausage, olives, bell peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms, & garlic. I would have been happy with just sausage and jalapenos, but since I was paying for 6 toppings, I was sure as shootin' gonna order them. I placed the order before I left home, shopped at Ralphs, and drove over to the Pizza Man parking lot at the exact time my email said my order would be ready. At the counter, I told an employee I was there for pick-up and gave my name. He nodded at me and wandered into the back. I stood there for seven minutes. Another employee came out and asked to help me. Again, I gave my name and said I was there for pick-up. He turned to a rack behind the counter - not a warming rack, mind you, just a pantry overflow stackable shelf unit - and gave me the pizza that had been sitting there the entire time I waited. Why didn't the first employee give it to me?! I was utterly shocked. I couldn't even speak. I took the pizza and the employee asked if I wanted to add on more products, then snapped at me with a snotty aside when I was unable to answer his question. I opened the box to make sure the pizza was correct before I left. When I got home, I realised that what I thought was Italian sausage was actually bits of mushroom or crust bubbles. They had left the sausage off my pizza. Since that was the item I really wanted, I called and informed them of the error. The person I spoke to put me on hold, then came back in a few minutes and said, "Yeah, the person who made it said he can't remember if he put sausage on or not, so we can remake it." Insulted that I was not believed, I asked for a refund and said I'd return the pizza. I was told there was no way to issue me a refund, but they could remake it. I asked him to read the list of toppings I'd ordered, which he did, and so I said I would be right back to pick up my correct order. I drove back to the store to pick up the new pizza. Checked it out before I left. It had jalapenos, bell pepper, mushrooms, olives...and chorizo. And no garlic. Chorizo absolutely disgusts me. I just took it home and picked at it. Massively frustrating to give myself one night off cooking and be treated this way, and end up with a product I find utterly gross and inedible - and receive no compensation for my inconvenience. I am never putting myself in the position of being aggrieved by this establishment again. I would drive to Santa Monica on side streets on a Friday afternoon to eat a cold Domino's pizza out of a dumpster before I'd order Pizza Man.

    Keto crust small pizza
    Michelle T.

Got the keto pizza crust and 6 toppings of choice. Actually pretty good! It does taste like a mouth full of chicken or egg though. Obviously not like a regular crust because it's keto, but the flavor is good! Their pizza sauce is awesome, super flavorful. They didn't mention that the keto crust was automatically $5 extra, and comes in a size small which is $12, so with tax that comes to basically $20 for a small thin pizza. Not worth it in my opinion. I recommend getting their large pizza 3 toppings for $12.99 instead. Service was nice and fast. When I asked about the pricing they were really kind and explained it to me. It's a small place with only a few sit down tables, kind of a quick grab and go vibe and not a chill vibe to stay in.

Found a lovely piece of plastic in my spaghetti

I have been coming here for quite a while, and today I found a piece of plastic in the spaghetti. They told me to call DoorDash to get my refund. Kind of sucks cause they were pretty dismissive about the whole thing. like I said I've been coming here for a while and I thought they would be a little bit more sympathetic to the fact that I bit down on a piece of plastic that they put in the spaghetti. I know it wasn't on purpose, but it's still the principle.

The Keto Pizza Was so Good! The service they provided was perfect! I will definitely come again when I'm back in the LA area!

Been coming here since opening day about 8 years ago. It all started with a pizza for my daughter's birthday party. It's been one of her favorites ever since. I don't indulge as much as my daughter but I have enjoyed pasta dishes, and wings. Have grown to know all three staff that provide great service..

Highly recommend the grilled Spanish octopus with white beans. Very tender. The Bruschetta was also very good - crispy at first bite but then super soft and melts in the mouth. Wife and I both got fish entrees. She had the chilean sea bass special while I went for the excellent bown-sugar smoked Scottish Salmon. It was a nice thick piece, but very moist and tasty. From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. To Eric, Antonio, and Jessica: thank you for welcoming us into your family for such a special milestone!

The hubby wanted to eat out Italian for a cozy Sunday, holiday evening. And have never ventured here in Toluca Lake; and what an elegant, delight! Jessica was our server. She made our experience delectable, truly! Noticed every detail, and with warm humor. She recommended my husband read the desert menu aloud, for the romance of it all. And it works and that's true! Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We'll be back, to try perhaps the chicken the hubby says. :) Thank you all for an exceptional, romantic Sunday night dinner with my Hubby, during the holidays.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and warm energy. An energetic room (at 5:45pm) and a stage set. I've heard great things, I've anticipated this for months. Going into anything with high hopes is always a risk. But I felt at ease within moments. First cocktail at the bar... quick service, tasty drink, what else do you need? Sat... Somm, server and commis de rang all touched the table within a couple of minutes. I tend to spend too much time looking at menus and this wine list set me up for an adventure. Page after page of stellar picks at prices you won't find at restaurants of this caliber. Value after value! We settled on a fun Italian white, Chardonnay with Nebbiolo... yes a white with Nebbiolo. Oh how it worked with the food.. Oysters and Sashimi... Crudo... Apple Salad... Each delivering multidimensional flavors and textures. Peru meets Japan meets Cali farm to table. The pace and timing of each course perfectly delivered. As we moved into our... Croquettes... I was genuinely speechless. How did these taste like the enchiladas I grew up with? Chicken confit, burnt tomatoes, grana padano salsa pepian... It worked with the wine in my glass. I could have spent the entire evening dabbling with the raw menu and starters but it was time for something more... Risotto... is never to be missed. You should always judge a restaurant serving Italian food based on a few things.... A pepperoni pizza. Their "fresh bread" The level of cook on their pasta And.... How they cook their risotto. This made the table go silent. You really just need to try it.. Dinner wrapped up with an Olive Oil Cake and a glass of Takaji and this may have been the perfect pairing to end the night... fresh, uplifting and harmonious in every way. This was long and poetic but the bottom line is that this place is worth visiting regularly. There were a dozen things on the menu that we missed that looked good. I'll be back soon and I just wish I lived closer!!
