    Penne Rosa with Parmesan-Crusted Chicken

I order extra sauce for both the Penne Rosa and Tortelloni Peso respectively. I was extremely disappointed to find that both containers had less than 2 tablespoons of sauce. For $1.25/container I expected the extra sauce to cover at least half of my pasta dish - so you can imagine my surprise when there was barely enough to scrape out for 5 noodles. To make matters worse, my actual dish lacked any sauce completely. The Penne noodles were bare, with minimal signs of sauce in the dish. There was also only 1 mushroom and 1 leaf of spinach. It's almost as if the plain boiled noodles were packaged with parmesean crusted chicken and set out for pick up. I've been a customer at Noodles and Co. for over 10 years and can confidently say that this will be my last time spending money here. The quality continues to decline, as does the accuracy of their orders and portion sizes. It's ridiculous that I had to make sauce to go on my pasta (after paying for extra btw) because I was given an incomplete dish. I'll be sure to tell everyone else that I turned into a customer as well.

My half of a bowl of chicken soup

This isn't the first time this has happened, but I ordered a bowl of chicken soup along w my husbands pasta togo, I open my soup & it's a half of a bowl.. for SEVEN dollars.. yes $7.00 and I get half of a bowl? The last time this happened I ordered extra sauce on the side of my pasta & I kid you not it had 2 tablespoons in the container.. & that was also $4.00. I'm just not understanding, if I'm paying for something why am I not getting the correct amount? Lazy workers? Don't care? Baffles me.

    Freezer burn potstickers

I have been here a couple times and normally its pretty good. Today the potstickers are freezer burned. The noodles have hardly any sauce on them. The noodles are burned. Don't think I will be going back. Quality very disappointing.

Wow didn't know charbroiled dry chicken on the menu!

Subpar quality from this location. Orland's food is more consistent. I like the location.

Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca with Tofu, not a lot of spinach, but it tastes GREAT!

Today I'm trying a new location as the only other location that I've been to is in Indiana, closer to my job. Both locations are clean and have good briefly service. My meal was hot and brought you the table in a timely manner. They have a nice variety of vegetarian options so it took a while to choose. At the recommendation of the person taking my order I got the Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca with tofu. The tofu was well seasoned and had the perfect consistency, tender with a slightly crisp outer layer from being sauteed. Not enough spinach! Spinach and tomato ate main vegetables for this dish and they were sparse although tasty. I literally had 4 small strands of spinach and the equivalent of 3 small grape tomatoes. The pasta was dryer than hubby liked when he tasted it, but I liked it very much. I also like the home dining feel of the place. It's easy to forget that you're in a fast food type place, based on the quality of food, table service, and actual dishes and silverware. It's official, I'M STUCK ON NOODLES & COMPANY...PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD SERVICE & FOOD :-) 5 STARS RESERVED FOR MORE CONSISTENCY IN INGREDIENTS (4 strands was sad, but well seasoned)

This location just opened a few blocks from us (and we've never been to other locations). We were pleasantly surprised! My husband and I both ordered the Penne Rosa (with feta) and added the Parmesan crusted chicken (to go). The chicken was amazing! The sauce is a spicy tomato and had a great flavor. It did have a kick to it, but I expected that. I cannot wait to go back and try other items off the menu. They have pot stickers, cheesy garlic bread and Korean meatballs for appetizers, too. The building is brand new and was really clean. Will be back soon.

Bangkok Curry topped with tofu & Sriracha with a beer to wash it down.

Noodles & Company is a crowd-pleaser. Everyone I've taken here found something they really enjoyed, toddlers and adults alike. The macaroni and cheese tends to be the favorite among my guests. Service is average to good. I tend to frequent this place because it is one of the few whole food vegan options in the area. My current favorite is the Bangkok Curry topped with tofu which combines veggies, noodles, crunchy greens, and an Asian spice twist. Top with some Sriracha and add a craft beer to kick it up a notch. Here are some high points: - 4 kids meals which include 2 sides and a drink. The macaroni & cheese with carrots, apple slices, and juice tend to be my kids favorites. - Vegan, vegetarian, meat, and gluten-free options - Noodles, salads, and appetizers from Asian, Mediterranean, and American styles of cooking. - Top any dish with chicken, pork, beef, tofu, or shrimp.

Forgot my food and is way to expensive for what you get. Your better off going to a more authentic noodles experience.

Will never eat here again. All noodles undercooked and regular chicken noodle dish was like three sips of soup. Horrible.

Every visit this location seems to get dirtier and dirtier. This visit it just plain smells bad like a sour bar. Nothing is clean.

My waitress (Alex)was very nice and detailed, she knew the whole menu and some very great suggestions that did not disappoint me. My only gripe was that my mix drink (LIT) could have been a little more stronger, still awesome dinner overall. Thanks Alex, Thanks Frankie's

This is a hard 4.5 star rating on its way to the 5. My first…read morevisit I wanted to grant the 5 star rating, although, I had to hold back to be fair. I know it'll be there by my next visit, which will be soon. A seller for me is homemade pasta with an option for gluten free. If it was organic it's a hard 5. No judgement though. Frankie's is the spot where you park up by 3:45/3:50 and wait for the doors to open as their hours are short, hot and sweet. This is a tucked away spot packing tons of flavor on the small menu(major hit). Locals pack this spot asap at the bar so be there by 3:45. Haha. The restaurant has nice decor and attentive friendly service. As the server comes to the table with heavy greetings, they run down the special menu. Drinks are always good, nothing intricate but enough to elevate the experience and hit hard. The appetizers are good. I enjoyed the calamari and shrimp as well as the octopus. But now to the star of the show is their pastas. FRIENDLY REMINDER, all are homemade. The Pappardelle w/ Wide Ribbon Pasta, Black Truffle Cream Sauce and Mushrooms is amazing.. I added the gluten free meatballs and yummy. A savory bite. The rigatoni vodka sauce(added sausage) was a hit. Another star of the table was the Linguine w/ Shrimp,Broccoli, Evoo and Garlic. A fully loaded plate. The Gnocchi w/ Ricotta Cheese Filling, vodka sauce.. added meatballs was another hit. The star of the show was our pizza which resembles a meat lovers with pepperoni, Sopressata and Giardiniera (which is more like a relish and I love). I've had other dishes but after multiple countless visits this is what I love at this time. The pizza is cooked in a high heat oven which gives the perfect char, let it settle for a couple minutes as it sits on the table. Overall, when in this part of Illinois hands down the place to be. Hours are only 4-9pm and that says a lot. My only insight would be ask for the bread to be served warm. I'm sure a fresh loaf in the pizza oven for a couple of minutes will go a long way. ENJOY!
