I had a late Lunch today at Noodle Company. I need to share pleasant experience I enjoyed. Although I forgot to get her name, my Host did Awesome! This young lady did everything. Took my order, was prompt and courteous. She even delivered my food to my table. She did it all. The only 'downside', there was only one other assistant. Kudos to my server. She so energetic. I order extra sauce for both the Penne Rosa and Tortelloni Peso respectively. I was extremely disappointed to find that both containers had less than 2 tablespoons of sauce. For $1.25/container I expected the extra sauce to cover at least half of my pasta dish - so you can imagine my surprise when there was barely enough to scrape out for 5 noodles. To make matters worse, my actual dish lacked any sauce completely. The Penne noodles were bare, with minimal signs of sauce in the dish. There was also only 1 mushroom and 1 leaf of spinach. It's almost as if the plain boiled noodles were packaged with parmesean crusted chicken and set out for pick up. I've been a customer at Noodles and Co. for over 10 years and can confidently say that this will be my last time spending money here. The quality continues to decline, as does the accuracy of their orders and portion sizes. It's ridiculous that I had to make sauce to go on my pasta (after paying for extra btw) because I was given an incomplete dish. This isn't the first time this has happened, but I ordered a bowl of chicken soup along w my husbands pasta togo, I open my soup & it's a half of a bowl.. for SEVEN dollars.. yes $7.00 and I get half of a bowl? The last time this happened I ordered extra sauce on the side of my pasta & I kid you not it had 2 tablespoons in the container.. & that was also $4.00. When ordering through Uber Eats, we barely get any protein, considering we're paying extra for the double. This last order, I found multiple elbow macaroni in a dish that I specifically ordered due to having rice noodles as I'm very gluten sensitive. I eat at Noodles a lot, and I travel a lot...this location is as good as any I've been to. Came on a Friday night at 6:30pm, line was short and quick. Ordered a regular Pad Thai with tofu, and a small Mac and cheese. Food came quickly, was hot and tasted good. I'm docking a star because, as other reviews have noted (both for this location, and other Chicagoland locations) the portion sizes are shrinking! I haven't noticed this in any other city, so I know it isn't corporate-driven...so, Chicago Noodles owners, you've been called out. Return the portion sizes to normal, or drop your prices! read more

Today I'm trying a new location as the only other location that I've been to is in Indiana, closer to my job. Both locations are clean and have good briefly service. My meal was hot and brought you the table in a timely manner. They have a nice variety of vegetarian options so it took a while to choose. At the recommendation of the person taking my order I got the Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca with tofu. The tofu was well seasoned and had the perfect consistency, tender with a slightly crisp outer layer from being sauteed. Not enough spinach! Spinach and tomato ate main vegetables for this dish and they were sparse although tasty. I literally had 4 small strands of spinach and the equivalent of 3 small grape tomatoes. The pasta was dryer than hubby liked when he tasted it, but I liked it very much. I also like the home dining feel of the place. It's easy to forget that you're in a fast food type place, based on the quality of food, table service, and actual dishes and silverware. This location just opened a few blocks from us (and we've never been to other locations). We were pleasantly surprised! My husband and I both ordered the Penne Rosa (with feta) and added the Parmesan crusted chicken (to go). The chicken was amazing! The sauce is a spicy tomato and had a great flavor. It did have a kick to it, but I expected that. I cannot wait to go back and try other items off the menu. They have pot stickers, cheesy garlic bread and Korean meatballs for appetizers, too. Every visit this location seems to get dirtier and dirtier. This visit it just plain smells bad like a sour bar. Nothing is clean.

I only come here when the Noodles and Company is closed by me or when I'm visiting my grandmother and I never think I'll be back again. Every time I come here there are different noodles and many unknown ingredients mixed in my Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. Today, I ordered from here thru DoorDash and there were 5 hard black pellets and random pieces of a green vegetable in my Mac & Cheese. I've been going here for 5 years and I'm sick of this constantly happening. It's actually disgusting and makes me believe that they prepare their food in unsanitary ways.... Also my boyfriend went here with his friend a month ago and they were extremely rude and yelled at them saying that they aren't allowed to order inside. read more

The one star is not for the quality of the food (because it won't let me do ZERO stars), but for the ineptness of their manager Gina with a "G" and Steve who i really don't know who he is. On 3/29/2021 I went to pick up lunch for 4 co-workers and myself. The total bill was just shy of $56. When I tapped my card the reader gave me the spinning circle for at least 2 minutes. The girl who rang the order went to get the manager. When she got back i'm guessing the screen went to sleepmode and she touched it to wake up the system. When she did my card reader said accepted. The two of them insisted it didn't so I inserted the chip and rang out the order. That night I saw two charges pending. Didn't worry yet. Two days later i checked the account I charged the account to and saw i was double billed for the order. It was POSTED. Went back to the store and spoke to "the manager" who introduced herself as Gina "with a G" and how she worked there forever and was there 50+ hours per week. I explained the problem. She went to the "back" and came back to tell me she could only find one charge. After talking a few minutes longer i was told by her to go to my bank to get this straightened out. I said the bank didn't charge me twice you did. I have worked,and still do, in industry that uses cash drawers so I am familiar with how to balance a till. She tells me thewent to the store at about 6pm. Gina walked out of the back room with her mask around her chin and did recognize me. We spoke about the issue and why I didn't get a call. After listening to some mumbo-jumbo she told me to file a dispute with my bank!!!!! So I did. Steve called me at some point and we went over the problem. I e-mailed the info i had to him. Never got a follow up call. 14 days later my account did get a credit. BEWARE if you dont pay cash.re was no overage for the day. So I went to the bank and they confirm two $56 charges have been paid to Noodles. They print out what i need and back I go to see Gina "with a G". I get told she will have the I.T. dept look into it and i would get a call tomorrow. I didn't get a call so I read more

I usually am a fan of noodles & Company, but this one I will avoid in the future. Tables were all dirty and it wasn't busy. Workers were just standing around talking. Coke was gone and I asked 3 times if they could refill it, they said yes but I'm the hour we were there they never did. No clean forks or spoons and little to no sauce on the noodles. Definitely a store to avoid. Go to a different one. Employees are indifferent about helping. Just don't care. read more

The workers are extremely kind. But this is now my second time going there. The first time my order took 45 minutes because they messed up my order twice. The next time I brought my food home and both of the dishes were missing ingredients, where I had to go back. Also, I own a restaurant where I know customer service and quality comes first. You should be comping your customers when the orders are not right. The workers had apologized, however, it is not fair to customers to have to wait for quick and easy dishes. I have only been to Noodles & Company a couple of times but when I have, it has been a great experience. The staff is friendly, quick, and very accommodating towards the customers needs. If there was something that I didn't want in my select bowl they could take it out of if there was something I wanted they could do that as well. First off, the 2 times we have been there we notice a funky smell as you walk in restaurant, kinda makes you lose your appetite odor. Staff not so friendly, now they tell us no more of our fav soup. thai ccurry. What ???? They took the flat breads off menu with some lame excuse, they retooled the pai thai now it is so bland, just rice noodles and a few specks of eggs. This is by far the best noodles and company I have been to. I always customize my order, making it so complicated (I got the alfredo monte amour with extra sauce, extra spinach, and parm chicken with a side salad), and they always get it exactly how I like it, no questions asked. After they bring the food to you they'll come back around to make sure they made it to your satisfaction. All their choices are delicious and always so fresh. Would have given four stars for the taste of the food/cleanliness- but their customer service for a food chain is amazing! Great attitudes! Love coming here for lunch during work breaks. read more
