The owner (Trevor) and his family have so much love and passion for their restaurant and the community. I love being able to contribute when you can see all the effort and excitement put into the food and service. I also cal tell he tries to really know his customers and care for them. As far as the food : really the best quality meat and flavor. I've tried a handful of their items... just had the breakfast burrito today I believe it was called the redinger special, took me back to New Mexico style ranchero breakfast flavors sooo yummy . It's BIG we shared it. Brisket and bacon inside were perfect. Got a side of salsa also. Wouldn't mind adding a second egg on top but also maybe more of the ranchero sauce .... Otherwise made us want to try more of the breakfast items. Also glad they have a kids menu and added the tacos to the menu. Everything is great.

I love coming to this restaurant, the food is delicious !!! The owners and staff are welcoming, they make you feel like family. Not to mention it's probably the BEST BBQ I have ever had. The pancakes are phenomenal better than Dennys and IHOP.

The place made me feel welcomed, as a veteran myself. Trevor, welcomed us and took our order as he informed us of each breakfast dish. All fresh and local produce. The food had lots of flavor and you could taste the home cooking. Highly recommend you stop if you are in the area, or heading to Bass Lake.

the two ladies accommodated my 8 friends very close to closing time. they gave us all separate checks and allowed us to take our time with ordering. My husband and I were working up in Bass Lake and decided to pick up lunch in the area , we found this BbQ place on the way home in North Fork and decided to try it. Well let's start by saying this place has earned their stars and reviews on Yelp! We ordered the 2 meat plate because I wasn't that hungry and wanted to just share with my husband. We got the tri tip and brisket plate. OMG the brisket is out of this world!! My husband and I have never had brisket this delicious! It beats Westwoods by far!! Customer service is incredible also! Trevor the owner retired military is super nice . We loved it so much we had to take a pound of brisket home for dinner later. He also gave us a sample of their pull pork "incredible "! Definitely will be back again soon. Thank you Trevor for your hospitality and for your service

Since it was our first time in Bass Lake, we needed a map from the hotel front desk to find our way. Please view my map photo since it is nestled in the middle of lodging. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed a 45-minute to 1-hour wait for a table. Perturbingly and hungrily, we waited. Our drink order included Modelo Michelada, Peach Lemonade, juice, and milk. When we were seated we were then told that the kitchen was extremely backed up and it wouldn't be another 45+ minutes until they can even take our order. Thankfully they were able to take our drink order first so we got to enjoy the view. We were starving by the time we finally got our food, everything was fried since we decided to get their sampler platter and fried calamari. The food was pretty decent, I think I just got sick of it pretty fast because everything felt very heavy. I would probably only come back for the views next time I'm in the area, and get some drinks and light apps!

Going to a little town we weren't sure what we would get, but whoever runs this place and the chef is definitely care about quality of food. We had a pretty big party and called ahead to let them know. Everyone had something different, but everything tasted amazing. Great clam chowder Steak cooked perfectly with good flavor Salmon was delicious Wings were cooked perfect Kids finished both kids meals which if you know kids it's usually a couple of bites and "I'm done" I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through here. As we're leaving there was a significant wait so I'm guessing others know the secret of this wonderful place too.

We decided to try Oakhurst Grill because it was one of the only places still open when we rolled into town. (Places close early here) Service- 2.5/5: Both times I've been here the waitresses have been polite and somewhat attentive. We were seated within 20 mins but had another 15min wait to actually place our order. It seemed like it took awhile to just get started with drinks. They do a high volume here with a large staff so the service is likely inconsistent. Food quality: 3/5 My burger was actually very good, with 1/2lb of quality beef. I would get it again. I've had the chicken Alfredo which was ok, but nothing extraordinary. Steak tips for an appetizer were ok and the crab cakes were flavorful. My vegan friend had the Al Fresco (Tomato, artichoke heart, Mediterranean olive blend, garlic, onion, spinach and mushrooms, balsamic vinegar, served over penne pasta with a side of ciabatta bread.) He barely touched it because it just didn't taste good. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed we wouldn't recommend it. The cheesecake "bites" for dessert is more like a slice of previously frozen cheesecake cut into 2 pieces, with a drizzle of syrup on top. Atmosphere- 4/5: The interior is dated but had a rustic vibe that fits the environment. The outdoor seating has a nice view but the exterior is rather narrow for the size of the tables. Value- 3/5: Pricing is higher but what I would expect near a national park. The potions were generous. Overall- 3/5: I would eat here again if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to. It is more geared toward tourists.

This eatery is usually closed for the winter season. Their next scheduled open date is in March of 2026. Please check their website before driving there. Our Orders: The Meal (double cheeseburger on sourdough, French fries, salad): The boys loved their burgers. The platter arrived with salad and a huge amount of fries. Cheeseburger: My order was perfectly seasoned. Imagine me chowing the entire burger down. Thank goodness mine didn't come with fries. LOL. I did steal some of the guy's fries, which was nicely salted. Root Beer Float: This is my weakness. This place serves a very delicious glass of classic root beer float. YUM! Service: Carizma was our server. Like her namesake, she was definitely charismatic, albeit looking a little tired. Parking: There are plenty of parking spots but this place gets crowded, so prepare for a 15-30 minutes wait for a parking spot during their on-season. Note: The Forks Resort is family-owned by the same family for four generations. Their burgers are famously known. The resort's signature Forks Burger received a glowing column in the New Yorker by writer Helen Rosner. The resort operates seasonally, from early spring through early fall.

We had our annual camping trip at one of the local campsites near Miller's Landing resort. One of our days we decided to use our 15% off coupon from our campsite to Rent a 9 persons pontoon boat. The folks working at the counter for the boat rental were friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same thing for the dude's working at the actual boat dock. They gave us weird vibes. Like, have y'all never seen Asians renting a boat? WTF are you guys glaring at? WTF is so funny? It was irritating AF! Thankfully, the time on the water was really fun! The kids had such a good time zipping around on the water and we also rented a tube that we towed off the back of the pontoon boat. Yes, it's not a speed boat, but it was fast enough for the kids to enjoy being towed around. The next day we went back to Miller's Landing to use their public showers. Five dollars for five minutes. Make it quick! The shower's were clean, water was warm, or cold if you prefer, but the line can get long. There is no complimentary shampoo, soap, or conditioner, so be sure to BYO. It was a good option for those of us who were tent camping that NEEDED a shower. Although we didn't dine in the restaurant, we did get drinks, ice cream, and milkshake's from the café, all of which were really tasty. We will definitely plan to incorporate a boat rental, showers, and meals at Miller's Landing when we plan our annual camping trip for next year!
