I've been reluctant to try this place since I've heard such bad reviews from my close friends but I came in for dessert one day because it's close by. The Mango sticky rice bingsoo here is 10/10!!! The souffle pancake was a 2/10 tasted very eggy. The tiramisu souffle pancake did not have lady fingers on it and instead was covered in cocoa powder to the point it was very powdery. I would skip on the pancakes here. Service is slow, they don't greet you upon entry and just get to you when they get to you

Came here for their BOGO banana pudding matcha, which was a pretty good deal. The drinks itself were great, exactly as expected. I feel like this style of drink is trendy right now as I'm seeing it at like every other matcha place. But I'm not complaining, especially at promo prices. The inside is pretty standard, though it was a bit warmer than I liked given the hot weather. Service was standard, nothing to call out. I just ordered then it came out soon after. I've been meaning to try out the souffle pancakes here, but my friend suggested against it as she didn't like it. I still might come back just to try it out for myself, but I'm also rarely in this area. Overall, would recommend trying this place out for yourself. The matcha drinks were good, tastes as you'd expect.

I've been here a few times, and safe to say this is one of my favorite dessert spots in OC. Parking: Free parking lot. They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a parking spot can be difficult. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small/medium space with a good amount of indoor seating. Perfect for a date, a fun family spot, and I even noticed some people studying. Minimalist decor. Service: Every encounter we had with a worker was nice. They're very transparent about the wait times. If you're ordering a soufflé, it'll take about 15 min per soufflé. Drinks will come out faster. Since there were a few parties ahead of us, we waited about 40 min for our soufflés. Dessert & drinks: Trust me, it's worth the wait. Their soufflés are very fluffy and jiggly. Surprisingly, they're not overly sweet (depending on what you order). I've tried majority of their soufflés, and I enjoy them all. You can share this between two people. As for their drinks, the teas are refreshing, the smoothies are delicious, and the coffee is okay. Pricing: Prices are pretty high, but it's worth it. Treat yourself once in a while!

Stopped by on a Sunday morning around 11 AM. I ordered ahead for pickup, and everything was ready on time. The café is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, so getting in and out was easy. The interior is bright and cute with a cozy atmosphere. Even though I wasn't dining in, it seemed like a nice place to sit in. Service was also friendly. I ordered the Ube Coco Latte and the Matcha Soufflé Pancake. The latte was rich, creamy, and smooth. The ube and coconut complemented each other well without either flavor being too overpowering. My only disappointment was that they don't offer a decaf option. The Matcha Soufflé Pancake took a little while to prepare, which is expected for soufflé pancakes. The pancakes were a little more moist than I personally prefer, but likely because I took it to-go. The mango purée was easily my favorite part, I honestly could have eaten it by itself. Combined with the foam and the subtle matcha flavor, everything came together nicely without being overly sweet. Overall, it's a good spot if you're looking for a café with unique drinks and desserts. I'd like to dine in next time I go!

Wiggly jiggly! NOT TOO SWEET matcha souffle is my compliment to this dessert - just how I like it! Takes about 20 minutes to prepare this fresh, eggy fluffy goodness. I appreciated the strawberry toppings... refreshing! Strawberry ice cream and the glaze over the bananas were TOO SWEET for me, but I'm sure would satisfy any sweet tooths since the souffle itself is not sweet. Small cafe seating area for small talk. Don't forget to wiggle the plate, and enjoy the presentation!

Ordered for pick up and the drinks were perfectly made. The Matcha flavor is ceremonial and doesn't taste artificial. The black sesame was really good and I could taste the roasted flavor in the drink, but it wasn't overpowering the Matcha. The flavors blended together perfectly. Came in with a friend to try a coffee and sweet treat. Theres Plenty of seating, clean esthetic and the staff greeted upon entry. I got the Banana Pudding Latte and taramisu soufflé pancakes, she got a Strawberry milk and mango sticky rice. The Latte had a scoop of yummy banana Pudding on top, this was a first for me. I enjoyed the texture and flavor or the pudding while sipping the latte. It was quite delicious. The taramisu souffle was yummy, but I was expecting a little more in regards to flavor. The texture of the pancakes was perfect and the cream top was good, just seemed to miss a little something. Im not a mango person and I have never tried sticky rice before. It had mango, rice, shaved ice and condensed milk. It was pleasantly refreshing and well balanced with sweetness and flavors. The price point is kind of hight, but you do get pretty big portion sizes. We enjoyed everything overall, I just dont know if it wowed me enough to return.

My son has been asking me to come back, so we decided to return and try out the drinks this time, as well as a little bit of everything else. I brought home Jinggly cat pudding for the family. (It's so darn cute!) So far, my favorites are the matcha cloud jasmine tea and the ube soufflé.

I got the tiramisu soufflé, and I would say I was a bit disappointed, it didn't really meet my expectations. I was hoping for more in terms of flavor and texture, but it just didn't quite stand out for me. That being said, the service was quick and efficient, and there are plenty of seating areas available, which makes it a comfortable place to sit and hang out. I just personally expected a bit more from the soufflé, especially considering the price point, which felt a little high for what it was. Overall, it was still nice to try, but it's probably not something I would reorder.

Went back for the soufflés. I got the tiramisu one, which was the best seller, followed by the strawberry and Nutella. They said the wait time was 30 minutes, and I actually timed it because the place was packed. I was a bit skeptical, but they actually made it in 21 minutes. The soufflé isn't sweet at all; it's airy, and the toppings help add the sweetness. Excited to try more.

The tiramisu soufflé was not as good as I imagined it. The pancakes were fluffy and thick but there was not enough cream around it to give it that tiramisu flavor. The cup of coffee made it worse because it was bitterness on top of the flavorless pancakes. Also the amount of cacao powder made it more bitter and dry. The banana matcha was not good. Service was bad this day. They didn't greet nor look welcoming while taking order.

We came here at night, and one great thing about this place is that it stays open quite late. I ordered the "current hype" -- the Ube Soufflé -- and the staff mentioned there would be about a one-hour wait before it could be served. Since it already took us nearly an hour to get here, I decided to wait for it anyway. To my surprise, the soufflé actually arrived in less than an hour, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the Ube flavor itself was a little disappointing for my personal taste, as I felt it didn't pair as well with the soufflé texture as expected. Perhaps next time I'd try a different flavor instead of the Ube. Decor was minimalist though and place looked quite cozy.

I really wanted to love the bogo Chestnut Latte, but unfortunately, the coffee flavor was extremely weak. All I could really taste was the milk and sweetness, and it ended up tasting more like a sweet milkshake than a coffee. For a Vietnamese coffee shop, I was definitely expecting a stronger coffee flavor. Hopefully, the owners will consider adding more coffee to the Chestnut Latte to better balance out the milk and sweetness. I think it would make the drink so much better!

The decor of this place is really pretty and minimal! Great for photos! As for the drinks, I ordered the Mango Passionfruit Tea with Honey Boba and the Blooming Strawberry with Lychee Jelly. The mango drink was ok; 3/5 because it was a bit more sour than expected. The honey boba was also pretty hard which made the drink less enjoyable. I thought that mixing the foam in with the rest of the drink would make it less sour, but it didn't make much of a difference. On top of that, it started to look pretty nasty LOL The Blooming Strawberry was really good though. I liked that I could taste a hint of orange in it as well. Aside from the drinks, I also ordered the Tropical Soufflé Pancake. This season's fruits were just strawberry, so it came with some small diced pieces as well as cream and some strawberry jam in between the pancake slices. The soufflé was honestly good but a bit pricey for the portion imo. read more

I should have taken someone's else's advice of not ordering their specialty coffee. What a disappointment. I got the avocado coffee and it sounds like a weird combo right? It was. My friend got the egg matcha and said it was too watery. 10 mins later my other friend got the same thing and also said it was too watered down. stopped by to grab a cup of coffee and first thing i noticed was how pretty everything was. from the plants to the interior design, i felt chill and comfortable. they definitely did a good job with the place! i got the ube latte and i'd say it's more on the stronger side if you like your coffee strong. i usually like my coffee on the sweeter side so it wasn't what i expected but it was still drinkable. we ain't wasting coffee over here cmon now service was great! the cashiers were pretty attentive to their customers and always responded with a smile on their face. music fit the ambiance of the shop as it was more soft and mellow, great for studying as well read more

My husband was craving Soufflé pancakes and this was the closest spot to us . Its a hidden little spot but easy to find . We came on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty empty, we got our drinks quickly and i was blown away by the taste pistachio matcha , it wasnt too sweet it was delicious . I have been to the shop many times and my impression of the shop is not that the drinks here are too good. But they know how to behave and listen to customers. If you have any problems with the drinks, point it out and explain and they will probably change and help you have a better experience next time. I have tried both tea and coffee here and these are the ones I highly recommend, and you can try if you don't know what to drink The specialty of the shop is: Black Sesame coffee. As a Vietnamese, I really like this coffee, it's like a latte but has the taste of fragrant roasted black sesame with a layer of cream on top ( 10/10) Nostimo Jelly Coffee : The taste of this coffee is amazing and different from the usual places. It's not just coffee with coffee jelly but here, Nostimo is not only made with many different ingredients, they also make it in layers and it looks really eye-catching. I usually buy this coffee for my friends because of its beauty and it must be delicious for me to recommend to them (9/10), I deducted one point because it is a bit sweet for me, consider reducing the amount of sugar if you don't want to drink too sweet ^^ Peach orange lemongrass tea and lotus tea here are also very good. Personally, I prefer lotus tea because it's lighter and fresher (I usually I like to drink coffee more but if you don't like coffee, try these two, I find them quite delicious) In short, the space is cool and modern, the staff is also very enthusiastic. Saw this place while my friend and I were searching for cute coffee places on Yelp, and we were not disappointed at all. The store is very cute and aesthetically appealing. We got the matcha coffee and it was not my favorite as it was kinda bitter for me, but my friend loved it! She loves strong coffee. So if you love strong coffee and matcha then I recommend getting that! They gave us the wrong soufflé, but that's okay. We still fucked it up. It was tasty and warm. I'm surprised that this place is so popping as it is so overpriced for what you pay for. I used to love their black sesame coffee and I think their drinks are way better than their food. We got their matcha crème brûlée soufflé and strawberry yogurt bingsu and were disappointed with both. Both were so bland and lacked of flavors and sweetness. I paid 30 for 2 desserts that we couldn't even finish. I would recommend their coffee, but definitely not their food. read more

Got the nutellamisu soufflé pancakes as per the cashiers recommendation. This was my first time trying soufflé pancakes so I don't have anything to compare it to. They were jiggly! And very instagramable but... to be honest they were lacking in flavor. I know many people prefer not so sweet deserts, so if that's your thing than this place might be a good spot for you. But if you are looking for intense, sweet, delicious flavor you may be disappointed. Bonus points for them being open later than some of the other soufflé pancake options in OC. read more

I was so happy that I found this place near my house. It was so well decorated and AC was working so it was super cool. Perfect place to study, there are many outlets for laptops. For the souffles Id rate this place a 2. But since the drinks were worth coming back for I rate it an overall 3 stars. Get the passionfruit tea or the matcha coffee. The ube souffle had no flavor so I will not come back for that. read more

Strawberry soufflé pancake, tea, and coffee. Pancake was a solid soufflé pancake. Fluffy, pillowy but has that home pancake taste. Syrup was light and fruity, not at all artificial tasting; big bonus in my book! Coffee is strong and well balanced, fruit tea more on the tart side. Solid spot. Wife approved as well. Outside seating is nice for the more quiet setting. Staff is obviously new and in training but they're very nice. Looking forward to coming back. read more

Came on a weekday at 6:30pm. It's not busy. It takes FOREVER. Quoted 20 minutes but in reality, it took 35 mins. I can't even imagine this place on a weekend when they're busy. They should be transparent about the wait. Other than that, cute place. Clean. We ordered the Mango soufflé and the tiramisu soufflé. The soufflés are okay. It was okay. I would not come back. It wasn't worth the wait. read more

I had the Ube soufflé pancakes, which were soft and fluffy and not too sweet not to mention they looked beautiful. I also ordered their sesame coffee which had a balanced sesame taste, and just the right amount of caffeine kick. The only complaint is the noise level I was there around 1 PM on a Wednesday and it was not super packed, but from a sound designer perspective, this sounds bounced off everywhere. They use what tastes like a banana pudding instead of artificial banana flavoring, and it blends so smoothly with the matcha that every sip feels balanced and indulgent. We ordered the strawberry pancakes and ube pancakes, and both were really good. They also offer other flavors, but these two were the ones we tried and enjoyed. The main downside is seating. A majority of the tables were occupied by people studying with laptops for extended periods of time. While that's understandable, seating is limited, and it can be tough for regular customers who just want to sit down and enjoy their food and drinks. It would be nice if there were some tables reserved for shorter visits and others for those planning to stay longer--just food for thought. Because many people were studying, we felt a bit uncomfortable with our kids being kids, even though they weren't being loud. We were lucky to find an open table to enjoy our pancakes and coffee. Overall, it's a great café with quality drinks and desserts. Just be mindful that seating can be limited, especially if you're visiting with family. There are plenty of outlets with tables and free wifi to sit and study. The store is well-kept, and the restroom is impressively clean. The staff here are all incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering a breeze. I stopped by this place because I was craving some fluffy pancakes after coming back from Japan and it was super delicious! Ube soufflé pancake - 10/10: This pancake was a dream come true. It was tall, light, and fluffy. Most importantly it passed the jiggle test. Not too sweet either, just the right balance. The ambience inside was cute, simple and bright. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Their warm hospitality added to the overall experience. If you're in the mood for some amazing fluffy pancakes, this place is a must-visit. I recently visited Nostimo Cafe in Westminster, and I was blown away by their soufflé pancakes! I tried both the Nutella and Ube flavors, and they were absolutely bomb--super fluffy and flavorful. The Tiramisu coffee and Egg coffee were creamy, strong, and beautifully made. If you're into bold, dessert-style coffees, these are definitely worth a try. Just a heads up: the drinks can take a while to come out, especially on busy days since it seems like only two people are working.
