Went back for the soufflés. I got the tiramisu one, which was the best seller, followed by the strawberry and Nutella. They said the wait time was 30 minutes, and I actually timed it because the place was packed. I was a bit skeptical, but they actually made it in 21 minutes. The soufflé isn't sweet at all; it's airy, and the toppings help add the sweetness. Excited to try more.
The tiramisu soufflé was not as good as I imagined it. The pancakes were fluffy and thick but there was not enough cream around it to give it that tiramisu flavor. The cup of coffee made it worse because it was bitterness on top of the flavorless pancakes. Also the amount of cacao powder made it more bitter and dry. The banana matcha was not good. Service was bad this day. They didn't greet nor look welcoming while taking order.
We came here at night, and one great thing about this place is that it stays open quite late. I ordered the "current hype" -- the Ube Soufflé -- and the staff mentioned there would be about a one-hour wait before it could be served. Since it already took us nearly an hour to get here, I decided to wait for it anyway. To my surprise, the soufflé actually arrived in less than an hour, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the Ube flavor itself was a little disappointing for my personal taste, as I felt it didn't pair as well with the soufflé texture as expected. Perhaps next time I'd try a different flavor instead of the Ube. Decor was minimalist though and place looked quite cozy.
We got the lychee pudding tea and tiramisu soufflé. The wait for the tea was about 5 min, and the soufflé was ~20-25 min. The place has a lot of seats available and lots of nice natural light coming in (no wait in line when we arrived). The soufflé was nice and bouncy, the flavors of tiramisu were consistent but the pancake itself was kind of underwhelming. My husband liked the tea but I thought it was a bit too tarte. The price is fair if you're ordering for yourself or to share! I enjoyed the side of chocolate ice cream and banana with the soufflé! It complements the dish well.
Went for an after dinner dessert / drink. Was hoping for more non-caffeinated options but looked like it was primarily smoothies. Ended up with the avo-coco which I was hoping had more balance of coconut with the avocado. It was definitely more avocado forward though. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The pancakes looked good but didn't get to try them.
Went on a Wednesday night. Decently crowded. Nice vibes and ambiance. Service was a bit lacking, blunt, not a very friendly vibe. We were told the mangoes weren't ripe and sweet, but we got the bingsoo anyway. It was good. Something I'd get again. The cat pudding was very cute, though the taste wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad either. The pudding itself was not sweet which I liked, but the strawberry puree thing was very sweet. Good try, very cute, wouldn't get it again. Lastly was the cheese fried tbk, was not bad for mindless snacking, but for the price, wouldn't get it again. Don't know what we were expecting but when it came out, we were disappointed, especially with the portion size. Overall, cute cafe, good food, would not go out of my way to come back.
So so so GOOD! Yummy! I'm not even a dessert person but I treated my kids to this yummy Japanese pancake place. It sure was a HIT! Shoutout to Bonnie S. who I texted to ask for Japanese pancake recommendations. She's my go to Foodie Encyclopedia. Follow her for more foodie info. You can't go wrong with Nostimo Cafe. Everything was delicious! Even for a non dessert fan like me. 10/10 Recommend
Tucked away in the corner of a busy shopping plaza is a coffee shop by the name of Nostimo Cafe & Tea. While parking may be of challenge, you'll quickly realized the quality of coffee and types offered is worth the effort to make your way here. Great place to catch up with friends and family over delicious sips. Not so sure about the study part since it can get a bit noisy. My usual go to here is the Nostimo Cafe Muoi Me (Black Sesame Coffee). It just hits all of my cylinders just right in terms of texture and flavors. They also have a unique flavor called Ube Coconut Latte Coffee if Ube is your current trend. Matcha and fruit smoothies are also available if you are in that lane. Soufflé Pancakes are great to share with people if you have a little gathering going. Looking forward to stopping in and trying their other beverages and bites, and as should you. It's good.
Nostimo has the best Tiramisu coffee. Their coconut coffee & egg coffee are very delicious as well. There soufflés are incredibly delicious despite how long it takes them to make them. We've been going here since it 1st opened and enjoyed it so much but now it can get a bit crowded especially in the evening since it opens late.
This is such a cute little café known for its viral Japanese fluffy soufflés and jiggly bunny pudding desserts. I stopped by on a whim during my lunch break and was pleasantly surprised by how quick the service was--I only waited about 5-10 minutes for my jiggly bunny pudding and matcha latte. It was fast enough that I was able to get back to the office without any stress. I ordered the jiggly bunny pudding because I thought it would be similar to a panna cotta (one of my favorite desserts). While it wasn't quite a panna cotta, it was still good--light, cute, and not overly sweet. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun dessert that isn't too heavy. As for the matcha latte, I really appreciated the bold matcha flavor. That said, I'm not a big fan of regular milk, and it didn't occur to me at the time to switch to an alternative like almond milk, so the milk flavor stood out more than I would've liked. Overall though, a fun spot for a quick and unique dessert break.
We came here for the soufflé pancakes and it did not disappoint! We tried the Ube Souffle and the Matcha Souffle. The Matcha soufflé had creamy matcha sauce with matcha powder on top, along with bananas and strawberries with strawberry ice cream. It's perfect for matcha lovers! The Ube Soufflé was our favorite, and it had creamy ube sauce on top with ube jellies and strawberry ice cream! The soufflé pancakes generally take about 40min to make, so if you plan to come, make sure to allocate some time to stay and wait for the pancakes. They are worth it! There's lots of seating space in the cafe itself. Parking was also easy within the lot, even when it got busier and the nearby restaurants also filled up with people.
Such a cute cafe shop! I stopped by here to try the black sesame coffee with 25% sweet of course, and it was amazing! It's my new favorite drink and now I gotta come back to try the other best sellers on the menu. Customer service was great, good amount of seating. I'll def be back soon. read more

What could improve ? first and foremost CUSTOMER SERVICE. They said kitchen closed but it was before the 30mins before "closing time" as the owner mentioned in a comment above so not accurate + customer service was not great , I know they might be tired but I've worked in customer service my whole life and have never gave the same vibe as them ! did not feel welcomed at all by the two individuals working there today, if I would have atleast received a hello , I would've still purchased an iced matcha , but the vibe was just eww ! hate leaving bad reviews but this was just necessary. read more

The matcha is rich and creamy. If you dont like your matcha to have a strong earthy flavor then I recommend this one! The strawberry pancake souffle is so yummy with how jiggly it was and a lot of toppings which is what I liked! There is outlets so you can bring your materials to work at the cafe with a good amount of seating but small tables. The service is good too. You just order and they call your order number to pick up your drink. They served me my dish which was nice. read more

It was my first time in the area, and it was a delight to try this place. The Pistachio Matcha Latte was absolutely fantastic - rich, with just a hint of pistachio that added a lovely depth without overpowering the matcha. I wished there was more pistachio mixed but unlike some places where matcha tastes like grass, this one was perfectly balanced and smooth. (4/5 stars) The Sunny Side Peach Yogurt, which was like a refreshing slushie in a cup - deliciously fruity and so refreshing, especially on a warm day. The atmosphere was just right for focusing or relaxing - lots of people around quietly studying, which created a nice vibe. Overall, a great spot for a peaceful and tasty break. read more

Came here since we were down the street and needed to get some work done. I saw on Yelp that there was tons of outlets and tables inside, so we decided to give it a try. Here is what we ordered: Tiramisu Latte: This drink was decent. A bit on the sweeter side, but did taste like tiramisu and I appreciate the heft layer of cream on top! Strawberry Matcha Latte: Not a fan of this drink. Could not pin my finger on it, but the taste was just a bit off for me. The the strawberry made it sweet, but I think it could have been more of a latte. Just very heavy on the matcha and nothing really to balance it. Strawberry Souffle Pancakes: These were very bouncy! I liked that the fresh strawberries did not make it overly sweet. The texture was perfect, but it did have a more eggy taste than I am used to. I wish it came with more whipped cream, as there are 3 huge pancakes, and only a thin layer of the cream on top. Lots of seating and outlets here. We came mid day and did not wait in line or have to fight for a table. It was not very noisy, allowing some quality time to get work done, but the chairs a slightly uncomfortable near the outlets and the drinks were just bleh. Not sure if I would make the drive to come back here, especially if there are other options in the area. read more
I was planning to check out Kei Coffee across the street since they just opened not too long ago and get some work done, but the parking and construction over there was a nightmare, and so I ended up looking at Yelp for a Plan B. Nostimo was nearby and popped up on my radar. Going from a packed full parking lot to plenty of parking and a nearly empty cafe was pretty awesome. Nostimo is tucked near the corner end of the shopping plaza, I recommend parking somewhere in the middle/center of the vast lot, rather than trying to squeeze into one of the tighter spaces in front of the cafe. I was trying to decide between the Avocado Coffee or the TIramisu Coffee - the clerk suggested Avocado if I was looking for something less sweet, Tiramisu if I was looking for something more sweet. Having tried the Avocado Coffee from September just a few blocks down a few days ago, I opted for the Avocado Coffee here to compare. When it came time to pay - I briefly noticed the credit card surcharge of either 10% or 10 cents (?) - can't remember - so I gave her $22 cash. I instantly regretted that when she opened the register, because she barely had enough to make change. I ended up with the change in one 5 dollar bill, and the rest 1s. Not to mention she looked sorta pissed. Like seriously - if you're going to charge a credit card surcharge - be prepared that some customers might pay you in cash to avoid the surcharge - so you need to be sure you have enough cash on hand to make change. Anyway, that sorta left a bad first impression. The drink tasted a bit off, but I didn't think much of it. The avocado smoothie is essentially a blended avocado smoothie with a shot of espresso poured over it. The espresso shot was rather bitter - and after sitting with the avocado for a little bit - didn't manage to balance out the flavors. The avocado portion was okay, but nothing memorable. I actually felt sick a couple hours after - thankfully I didn't finish the drink and had already tossed it when I was halfway through. The plusses: they set the A/C really low in here - probably more noticeable because there weren't as many customers in the store - so it was a bit chilly - but I imagine the cold is appreciated when the place gets more full. The free wifi is very fast. I had no issues catching up to podcasts/news on Youtube. Overall, the card surcharge thing was a bit of a downer. Not sure if it was bad milk or spoiled avocado, but felt a bit queasy an hour or so after the drink. Parking lot can get busy quickly depending on when you go, considering some popular businesses here. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. All things considered, not surprised how empty this spot was compared to Kei - my original destination - just across the street. read more
I was surprised by how much I loved the pistachio matcha latte. It's a new menu item but they perfected it well with how rich the matcha is and how subtle but complimentary the pistachio flavor is. As for the coffee, I tried both the black sesame and tiramisu and both had a great ratio of coffee to milk to cream (which was delicious). I personally liked the black sesame more but only because I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate and the tiramisu and a thin layer of pure chocolate at the bottom. The soufflé pancake batter was just alright to me but the mango and cream was heavenly. I think it's the end of mango season but it was still some of the juiciest, ripest version of it that I've had this summer. Everyone in my group loved the green thai tea bingsu and I'm sure if I loved green thai tea just as much I could say the same. That said, I loved the texture of the bingus with it being very airy and light but still prominent in flavor. There's plenty of seating but since they're open late, it gets pretty popular at night. The drinks come out relatively quickly though and the pancakes are made-to-order so be wary of a small wait. read more
You can argue with me for days, but in my opinion, Nostimo has the best overall Japanese-style soufflé pancakes because they're always consistently delicious. I love the flavor options like mango sticky rice, matcha, and Nutella, and the toppings are always on point. Plus, the pancakes are always perfectly jiggly. If you're not in the mood for soufflé pancakes, they also serve really good Korean-style shaved ice, called bingsu. It's light, creamy, and oh so delicious. Their teas and coffee are also top-notch. I love the welcoming ambiance--it makes me want to chill for hours with friends. They open early at 8am and close between 10pm and 11pm. read more

Fun yet small dessert place. My significant other and I were looking to try a place with the jiggly fluffy pancakes and wow this place did not disappoint! We got the Matcha Green pancakes and a couple drinks. Both were delicious! And yes the pancakes were indeed fluffy and pillowy. You've probably seen this viral most jiggly souffle pancakes all over social media, and I'm here to tell you that it deserves all the hype! They do take a little while to come out since they are made fresh to order, but trust me, they are 100% worth the wait. I also love their bingsoo or shaved ice when I need a little cold sweet treat, and they also have yummy drinks like strawberry matcha latte from their matcha line that are all made with ceremonial grade matcha, but I might've loved the injeolmi soy latte even more. Browsed for fluffy pancakes in the area and found Nostimo Cafe & Tea. Location is in a busy plaza, especially on the weekend. There was a few seats inside. We ordered the Oreo fluffy pancakes and Matcha Coffee. The pancakes came in a box, so we had to quickly open and eat it before it gets all soggy and wet. The matcha coffee was decent. I came here for the viral fluffy pancakes and they were everything and more! I knew it was going to be good but it was better than expected. The texture was super light, I love that the flavors are subtle and it's not too sweet. I can't choose a favorite but I enjoyed both the tiramisu and ube flavor. Not only were their soufflés delicious but wow they have such high quality lattes and teas. I tried the black sesame and pistachio matcha. I'm so glad I got to try a little bit of everything. Good place to study, love the options they have. Drinks are a bit on the pricey end I will say. Nutella soufflé was okay, I was warned about their wait time of about 30 minutes for the soufflé. I would've liked the pancakes to be a bit more flavorful, but I'm open to trying other flavors! Not pictured but their fruit teas are great. There are outlets for studying, but it does get crowded and very busy almost all day and night. read more

I think there's plenty of options on the menu that I have yet to try but I got the black sesame coffee and enjoyed the nuttier taste to it but found it a tiny bit pricey for the other menu items! Food: apparently my boyfriend has come here by himself before pretending to be a hot mysterious single person in search of his soulmate. But now that he's met meeee, he decided to bring me here to try out their souffle pancake. We were in between match and tiramisu flavor, ultimately decided on tiramisu, which was a great decision. The pancakes are so FLUFFY and JIGGLES with any movement and so SOFT. The cream and chocolate shaving and coffee drizzle worked so well together too. Just FYI, it does take about 20-25 minutes to make the pancakes. Drinks were 20% off with the souffle pancake, so we ordered lotus tea, which was a good blend of bitter sweet with the foam on top mixed in Price: about $16 per souffle pancake order, drinks range about $5-7. I'd say the cost is pretty reasonable for the amount of effort and time it takes to make the pancakes Ambiance: cute little cafe vibe with clean white interiors, there were about 6 tables with seating inside. It wasn't too busy on a weekday night. Good place to grab dessert with friends or date after dinner Service: good, the server was nice and explained that souffle pancake will take longer, she didn't rush us when we were stalling on making our orders Parking: there is free outside parking lot associated with this strip mall, we found parking right in the front of the shop, seems like there wouldn't be much problem finding available spot read more
Alright, now that I finally had the souffle pancakes, I can happily give this place 5 stars as deserved. They take upwards of 20-30 minutes to make but it's well worth it. The pancakes are fluffier than a cloud and the tiramisu was just a party in my mouth. They're a little pricier, like $15-18 or so but if you come between like 6-8pm or something then it's 20% off. Drinks, can't wait for souffle pancakes without something to sip on! The lotus tea was an amazing mix of not too sweet, lotus, and cream. Quite refreshing. Last time I had the sesame coffee which I recall being pretty remarkable too. I think this place deserves multiple visits just so you can enjoy every flavor Nostimo has to offer. read more

Tried Nostimo and it was so good -- such a perfect spot for summer! We ordered the Strawberry Bingsu and omg it was SO refreshing and delicious. We're literally obsessed. It's light, icy, sweet, and just hits the spot, especially when it's hot out. The café itself is super cute inside, and we also tried the matcha soufflé pancakes -- they were so fluffy, soft, and adorable! We also got the pistachio matcha and egg matcha drinks. We decided to check out Nostimo Cafe & Tea, a trending spot on social media, located in Little Saigon. When we turned into the plaza, I realized it's just two doors down from a place I've been to before, Com Ga Nam An (famous for their Hainanese chicken rice). I have no idea how I missed it all this time! Like last time, we ended up circling the parking lot forever trying to find a spot! The cafe itself is small, with around 6-7 tables. It's got that classic Instagrammable decor with marble-patterned tables and a whitewashed, wave-shaped concrete bench along the wall. Having lived in Seoul for 12 years and visited countless dessert cafes with similar chic designs, Nostimo feels more on the minimalist side, but still cute and fresh. As for what to order, the menu offers soufflés, Vietnamese coffee, regular coffee, and tea. Since we were already here, I had to try the much-hyped Ube Coco Soufflé ($15.75) and two cups of Cafe Sua Nong (Vietnamese condensed milk coffee, $5.25 each). The soufflé takes about 20 minutes to prepare, so our coffee came first. It was strong and rich--pretty good! When the soufflé finally served, it did have that "wow" factor in terms of presentation! The highest compliment an Asian can give a dessert is "not too sweet," and this soufflé was definitely not sweet at all. My sister and I tend to prefer a bit sweeter and creamy desserts, so we felt like eating a whole lot of nothing. In hindsight, we probably should have gone with the Matcha Red Bean Soufflé, which might've been a bit sweeter. On the side, they served five pieces of bánh da lợn (Vietnamese pigskin cake), and overall, the whole thing felt super light and healthy--almost too healthy for a dessert! They ONLY serve drinks one hour before closing time. PLEASE put a sign up and/or announce your kitchen is closed for the day, so your customers who made the drive for the soufflé pancakes can make their decision to stay or leave without standing in line. On a previous trip, I ordered their Nutellamisu soufflé pancakes, it was not sweet and it tasted watered down. The texture, the jigglingness and presentation was a plus, but the taste was just ok. I would recommend their pistachio matcha latte if you're in the mood. Will give this place another go and try their other soufflé pancake flavors! read more

Wow. Impressed with the quality of their strawberry shaved ice. Came for the mango version but they were out but I am not at all disappointed. No wonder they were packed. I love that they gave sides of condensed milk and strawberry sauce, but shaved ice was perfectly sweet and rich as is. 10/10 recommended! Need to return for the mango :) read more

Recently went to try the soufflés here and got the Matcha Brûlée and Tropical Strawberry Soufflés. They were both really soft and really fun to break into, but overall the flavor was not there. They were bland, even though yes they were delicate, I really wished it had a sweeter component to enhance it. Aesthetically, it looks really nice, but the flavor was not coming through. Decent amount of seating, and the wait for the soufflés were quite long. Love the concept, but the flavor didn't hold up. Matcha brûlée, and Tropical Strawberry were both $16.50 each. read more
Wow! So good! We had ube coco coffee, strawberry bingsu (yogurt), & Nutella pancake soufflé & strawberry pancake soufflé. All were delicious! The bingsu was like eating fluffy yogurt snow! So light with delicious strawberry sauce and vanilla sauce with fresh strawberries. Both pancakes were light and fluffy. Both came with fresh fruit and complimentary sweet sauce. Currently one of my new favorite study cafes! I like how they aren't too busy and have a good amount of seating inside. There were a few outlets so if you needed to charge your laptop you can you would just have to find an open spot. I will say that the music was a little bit loud but I enjoy studying with some background noise so it's fine but if you're looking for a more quiet place this may not be it. It could also just be the days I go maybe it's louder. The workers are always very nice and the drinks are just as good. They have a lot of unique drinks that make them special and I can't wait to try more! read more

Needed a little kick during my break and tried the new Cloud Matcha Jasmine Milk Tea at Nostimo Cafe & Tea -- totally hit the spot! Super refreshing, and gave me that perfect mid-day boost. The mix of earthy matcha and light floral jasmine is just smooth and creamy with that dreamy "cloud" foam on top. It's the perfect balance of flavor and vibe If you love matcha but want something a little different and more fragrant, you need to try this one. Plus, it's totally Instagram-worthy -- that green and white swirl is a whole mood! read more
