My husband and I came around 4:15 pm on a Wednesday. We ordered a sesame coffee, pistachio latte, and a matcha soufflé. The guy working the cashier said it'll take 20-25 minutes for the soufflé, and we were okay with that since we planned on staying 'til about 5:15 anyway to do some work. While working, I noticed there were plenty of drinks that kept piling up for pickup, so I just assumed they were busy, hence why we still didn't get our soufflé even after 25 minutes already. By the time the clock hit 5, my husband was done with his drink and wanted to try another (the pistachio latte wasn't very good), and when he ordered I also told the cashier if we could get the soufflé to-go. He responded by saying it's gonna take 20-25 minutes. Now annoyed, I responded, "It's been like 40 minutes. We ordered it with our drinks." He looked completely confused and said that no we didn't. I said that's not correct because you literally charged me for it; there is no way I paid $35 for 2 drinks. I didn't wanna have to make a scene, and since we were about to leave, I just canceled it and asked to get refunded. My husband then proceeded to order an egg coffee. From my experience, when businesses mess up, they would usually offer something complimentary, but no he had to pay for his drink after dealing with the mishap of the refund that took literally 3 employees to try and process. When he got his egg coffee, the guy decided to give him another pistachio latte to make up for the soufflé mishap. Now we're stuck with an extra drink that we didn't even really like, but seeing as customer service isn't a strong suit of theirs, we do appreciate the free drink. It's just too bad we had to pay for another drink and then be stuck with an extra that we didn't even want. Now I should be content because we got a free drink, right? Well, no. It's been well over 2 weeks, and I never received the refund for the soufflé. I've called twice, and both times they insisted they made the refund. So how come I still haven't received it? And to think that it took 3 employees to do whatever it was they tried doing to make the refund on the register. It has gotten to a point where I had to call my bank, and they had to dispute the amount that was supposed to have been refunded. I should have had the tip I left disputed too at this point. I absolutely hate that I'm here making a big deal over $16, but if you're a business, hold up your end of the bargain! The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because I never actually got to try the soufflé. The drinks were nothing special and we for sure will not order them again, but if someday I decide to give the benefit of the doubt about their customer service etiquette, then maybe we'll be back to give the soufflé another chance since it seems to be their specialty. read more

Nostimo has the best Tiramisu coffee. Their coconut coffee & egg coffee are very delicious as well. There soufflés are incredibly delicious despite how long it takes them to make them. We've been going here since it 1st opened and enjoyed it so much but now it can get a bit crowded especially in the evening since it opens late. read more

I Finally found a cafe that serves good matcha! I've been disappointed every-time I go to different cafes and the matcha either tastes too water down, too sweet or just less matcha in general. Ambiance is casual and minimalist, plenty of seating. Also service is fast and very friendly. This place serves amazing matcha! You can tell by the color! They really put more matcha and its tastes soo good! I'm obsessed, it's not too sweet and you can taste the matcha for sure! We got the matcha souffle and tiramisu coffee. Both are good. The tiramisu coffee is on the sweet side for me since I have been on a no sugar diet. But I broke all rules today! The matcha souffle is very good. The matcha sauce is not too sweet which I love. The pancakes are so soft and pillowy. There is a wait to get the souffle since they make them from scratch so you can order in advance before you get to the store or just wait. It's worth waiting for me. They said 30 mins wait but it didn't take that long in reality. I guess it could be that long if they are busy. Ambience is nice , casual and clean. Definitely worth coming by. read more

I wish I could say it was a 5/5 but unfortunately it wasn't. Their tiramisu pancakes were delicious and their presentation was great don't get me wrong. This is what happened; it was Sunday night and the young man behind the counter seemed uninterested to help out. I asked a few questions about their menu, it was my first time and I was curious about it, that may have annoyed him. I wanted a black coffee and it was crazy that for plain black coffee it was over $5, no sugar no milk, nothing extra. I did not order the coffee. He told us it would take over 20 min for the pancakes to be ready, I said ok. They were out fairly quicker than expected and some parts inside were wet and moist not sure if that's how their supposed to be but luckily we didn't get sick. The soufflé pancakes tasted exactly like how I imagined it - fluffy, light, and not too sweet. I preferred the tiramisu pancake over the Nutella one just because the flavor was stronger. However, the pancake became a bit tiring to eat after devouring half of it. The injeolmi matcha latte was also delicious with strong matcha flavor. We tried two of their fluffy pancakes: Ube and Tiramisu. Not that many places serve fluffy pancakes, so it's cool to see that they serve it all day during their operation hours. Came here with friends to try out their fluffy pancake and drinks. We got 4 fluffy pancakes and 3 coffee drinks. I had the iced coffee 4/5 very tasty but too much ice. 2 of the pancake orders came out in about 25 mins. Then one came out another 15 mins later the last one took 45 mins total to get all 4 orders. The pancakes are 2/5. It is kind of watery and too milky. They do have a nice interior for seating. Nice and inviting from the front they greet you as you walk in the interior is all white and very relaxing. They are playing nice chill music on the low end so it's not too loud if you want to have a conversation. Nostimo offers a vast amount of choices as far as coffee and Matcha. I ordered a fresh strawberry Matcha and it was so delicious. They also offer which I should get next time soufflé pancakes, that look really good along with yogurt dishes as well which all looks very yummy. The barista was so kind and helpful with my qestions. Nostimo Cafe remains one of my favorite cafes in Orange County. I recently came to study and work, and I continue to like the ambiance and decor. I will say that the service came down a little this time, as I noticed a lot of uncleared tables when I arrived. However, this was remedied, so I still enjoyed my experience. I also really liked the Black Sesame Matcha Einspanner! The hot drink actually worked well in the cold, rainy weather. The Strawberry Soufflé is also very yummy! I loved the texture and flavor. Probably the worst soufflé pancakes I've had in my life. First of all the cream had the consistency of water and was completely flavorless. It didn't soak through the pancakes and so most of this was bland. The pancakes themself were semi-hard on the outside but almost a slush on the inside... very odd consistency and definitely not what is expected on a traditional soufflé pancake. The fruit was also sour and you could tell had gone bad... almost no quality controls. Not to mention, it took 30 mins to make and there were almost no customers inside. Very rude staff too. Did not even acknowledge you when you walk in and short and snappy with the customer. Parking is easy and menu are good amount with mix of drinks (hot/cold) and snacks, especially with Soufflé. Great & friendly service. They do inform you how long it will take for the soufflé so that was nice (20mins but they got it within 18mins). This place is packed with kids/teenagers that are here to do their homework's or works. They are well manners and respect of noise levels. The foods is okey, our was jittery (you got to try it to make sure it legit). Well batter but abit undercooked from my taste. I tried the Banana Pudding Matcha and it was the best matcha I've ever had in my life! The bitterness of the matcha pairs so well with the sweet cream in the banana pudding, and there are real banana slices. They give you a spoon to scoop it up from the drink. Normally, I would order a regular iced latte and call it a day, but when Vietnamese coffee is offered along with black sesame, how can I resist? I stepped out of my palate zone and ordered the Nostimo Cafe Muoi Me, which included an iced latte with condensed milk and black sesame. Now, it is on the pricier end for its size, but it's well worth it at least for the first experience. The staff member who helped me at the time was very welcoming, patient, and descriptive. As a sesame lover, I really enjoyed the extra nuttiness in this drink. Now, there is a 10 cent fee for using credit card, so bring cash if you'd like to avoid it. Needless to say, the coffee was great, and the ambiance can be alright earlier in the day. However, on an afternoon visit, it was difficult to get work done. It is a smaller space, so noise doesn't diffuse well. Yes, bring a pair of noise-cancelling earphones if you plan to work here in the afternoon. On that note, despite being mid-Spring or early summer, consider bring a jacket, because that AC spares no souls. Finding a table inside can be hectic during busy hours. Sometimes, customers leave drinks on the table, and the table may be left unclaimed, unused. Back to the AC, you may have the misfortune of it being a "blast in your face" kind of experience if sitting at the "lucky" table. read more

The Ube Coconut Latte Coffee stood out - amazing combination of strong Viet coffee vibes with authentic ube taste and excellent quality coconut elements. It was well-balanced, flavorful, and one of the better specialty lattes I've had. Unfortunately, we planned on getting a cake (their soufflé pancakes look incredible), but the 20-minute wait was too long for us at the time, so we canceled. The matcha was very powdery & thick & the pancakes just didn't do it for me. perfect sweet treat drinks for a little dopamine rush!! Nostimo has a cool, clean, minimalistic vibe going on inside. Do note that their drinks are more on the "dessert coffee" side; the ones we had were super creamy and sweet, which was absolutely delicious, but lacked strong,bitter coffee flavor if that's what you're after. Definitely suggest looking at their drinks as more of a sweet treat rather than fancy/bougie coffee. With that in mind, the drinks were still super tasty!
