I like the food from this place but every time I order pick up from here they mess up the order. I really rarely order more than two items. A cheese pizza and a salad which was the case today as well. Cheese pizza was fine. Hard to mess that up but I'm sure they'll find a way some time. Antipasto salad with no tomatoes, no salami and add chicken, cucumbers, and kalamata olive and 2x balsamic dressings. How did the salad come? Well, they got the no salami right. Also there was no pepperoni, no chicken, no kalamata olives and no dressing. So I paid 10 bucks for lettuce, mushroom and a pepperoncini. Not sure which location we went to this time but the service was fantastic, the food was excellent and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the Wall Street pizza with cauliflower crust and it was fantastic. perfectly crunchy crust and so delicious. Went in this afternoon (3/6/25) for takeout. Was told 25-30 minutes, fine. Left & came back just under 30 minutes later and was told 5 more minutes. Fine. About 10 minutes later my dad, who is a senior, asks if it was almost ready, and the lady making pizza was so rude to him. He even said he was just asking in case the order was mistakenly given away to another customer. Zero customer service skills from this lady. When it finally came out the very nice blond cashier was very apologetic and opened the boxes for me asking if it was satisfactory. She was great. The lady in the kitchen area however needs some training on how to properly speak to a customer. We didn't care that it was taking longer than expected. Her attitude was the problem. We left feeling disrespected. Always liked this place as we are native New Yorkers. We won't be returning. read more

My son LOVES this restaurant. We have done many mommy & son dates here and we both really enjoy the experience. The service has always been amazing each time we visit. The food is delicious and the quality is always superb. My favorite topping on their pizza is absolutely ricotta. The salads are amazing. An amazing touch on the salads that I will say, the first couple of times that I've ordered salads, they served it with a cold bowl. I know this sounds crazy but it truly makes the salad taste better! I would recommend to do that for all salads served. My husband got home and what was supposed to be a half pepperoni and mushroom and half cheese only, was half pepperoni and half mushroom. The girl who took the order on the phone, even repeated it back so it was not a misunderstanding. Also, invest in the little plastic things that prevent the box from hitting the pizza. Half the toppings came off and were stuck all over the top of the box. The garlic knots we barely cooked. Let me step back a second, when I order he was telling me all vegetarian options, do many to choose from but made a decision on Joeys Favorite, we ordered a med to start because basically that will just feed us , 2 people , he was kind enough to ask how many are we feeding , because the small would feed us , he said it's big ,, 14 inch is a small When it was delivered it really was a big small pizza , no joke ,we have leftovers , makes for a great midnight snack .. lol This was hot , tasty, and really , really good , great price and fast delivery, we had a few special requests, , like olives on the side , and add jalapeños , all made to perfection. We placed an order online and it had been an hour with no update. I went to check the status and it said the restaurant had not confirmed the order yet. I call them and spoke with a customer service representative who stated the order was never confirmed and she will confirm it right away. However, she didn't give any explanation as to why the order was never confirmed and just hung up. I'm astonished by the customer service or therefore lack of. My husband and I are regulars and the last few times we have gone to this restaurant it seems to be going down hill. read more

We just came back from our first trip to NYC and have been on the hunt for New York style pizza, and this is the closest we have come! Pizza was delicious, I love that you can order half and half specialty pizzas, and their fried zucchini was amazing, even with our order being take out!! Only disappointment was the fact that a half order of zucchini was 4 pieces (great!), but a whole order of fried mozzarella was only 3 pieces! $10 for 3 pieces? And the lids to the sauces were melted in the Styrofoam container and spilled/soaked into them. Otherwise everything was wonderful, and we have a new favorite pizza joint. read more

We stopped for a late night meal/snack. Although they were near closing and almost empty we got the warmest welcome and best service. I ordered a bowl of tomato basil soup, and boy was I surprised with the presentation- very pretty with three toast points. It was yummy. Waitress was rude. Clearly having a bad day and took it out on her tables in addition to ours. When we made our order we told her we wanted ranch and lots of it so she didn't have to come back and she said ok. We were close to being done and I finally decided to get up and get ranch. As I was getting it she ran up and got it then signaled me it for was for my table. No apologies. We were here celebrating a Birthday and he asked her for a slice of cake and a candle for his bday. I ordered delivery pizza 2 weeks ago from this location. Pricing wise, it was very, very expensive for what I got. The pizza was good, but for the price I'd rather go to Grimaldis. I always enjoy coming here. The food is amazing and the service is even better!! I stopped in for lunch after a long bike ride and enjoyed a slice of pepperoni and 6 upstate wings from their lunch special menu. The slice was cooked beautifully and the were wings fried to perfection and the sauce is 5-star! Ally G was our server and did an amazing job! Everyone here works as a team and it was refreshing seeing one of their cooks even greeting people and helping the dining room. (I watch all that) Cool, calm and collected. Would have given a lower score, however, customer service by employees/manager was exceptional. Was allowed to use the $10 off ($20 or more) coupon that was sent by them in the mail. Unfortunately, it was the pizza's that fell short. First the Brooklyn Pizza was missing the basil and cold. And second, the My 'Za 8 inch did not look appetizing at all. Not at all! Came for Mom's Day. Surprisingly they weren't too crowded. Yet we had a long wait. Not sure why at first. Turns out they lost our order ticket. Many apologies were forthcoming, and they made the effort to make it right. Good customer service. I take that seriously, and give credit when it's due. So the food arrived. The pizza was good, as it usually is. In the past I had been unimpressed with their non-pizza items. But our table ordered two of them, and a small portion was shared with me. The penne al vodka was very good, as was the meat lasagna. So it appears that they have made some improvements since the last time I had one of their pasta dishes. Which is good to see (taste). Perhaps they read feedback from customers and took it seriously. Kudos for that. Next time I may have to order something other than pizza! I'm good with rating 4 stars this time. read more

I recently had the baked ziti and also 6 piece garlic knot. Fantastic! The ziti is normally what I look for on a menu and I've been disappointed a few times, but this has been hands down awesome. lets start by saying my husband and I order pizza every Friday night for delivery whe ever we are in town without fail. we have to order two different pizzas because I am gluten-free and he is not. That said, pizza night is expensive! it's normally $60 which includes the pizza, delivery fee and tip. That's for 2 people. I love NYPDs Gluten-free pizza so much and willingly tolerate their long delivery times. This evening I thought I got lucky with a delivery time of up to 40 minute. When our pizza did not arrive after 50 minutes I called and found out my order was entered as pick up in error. I was given the choice of picking up pizza that had been sitting there or having cold pizza delivered, however delayed because of other delivery orders. i did not like the options presented and was given the option of speaking to the manager which I took. I explained the situation to Noah and he gave me the same options above and one additional option. He was clear that I would be charged the $5 delivery fee and when I challenged the fact they they were in error he stuck to the $5 fee. Not a lot of money but it's the principal IMO. I told Noah to go ahead and charge the fee but I would never order from them again. I thought maybe he would reconsider given the poor experience nut nope the fee was charged.
