Just found my new Matcha spot, and I'm in love. I've tried a ton of matcha lattes in koreatown, and wasn't in the mood to wait in a long ridiculous line for a drink, until my friend wanted to go O Beem which is still nearby. No line, no hassle and best part is the cafe indoors. It's located inside Koreatown plaza on the 2nd floor, and parking is free as long as you get validation, so don't forget your ticket. My goodnesssss, their Matcha einspanner was so freaking good and my friend got something with hazelnut, but I was too busy drinking mine. I'm not embarrassed to say this but, I went back to get another one to-go before we left...Which says a lot how much I love the drink. Unusual but yummy drinks and deserts. Located in the Koreatown plaza on the 2nd floor (off the street level), it is a must try if you're in the area. The cafe is small but they do have both indoor and outdoor seating. You place your order at the counter and are given a pager that will buzz you when your order is ready. We got the London Fog, the pistachio latte and the Dubai chocolate croffle. Everything was delicious. We liked the London Fog drink the best. First of all it's inside of a mall so there is parking (validated tooooo). This is a Cute and minimalistic cafe that I've been bookmarked since I saw a reel of this place!! They got a couple new items in and one of them is Dubai waffle and it is a must try. The way they make the texture and flavor is on point. Then I got the then cookie butter cream croissant. I'm always super excited to hear of a new cafe opening in Koreatown, and I finally got the chance to check out @o.beem_ in @ktp.la ! Koreatown's newest cafe features a menu with Korean-inspired lattes and desserts, with very unique flavors such as mugwort and black sesame. Personally, I found the default sweetness of the drinks and desserts wildly inconsistent (the matcha croffle and strawberry matcha einspanner were INSANELY sweet while the mugwort einspanner and earl grey oat milk latte weren't very sweet), but I'm sure the very sweet staff would be able to provide suggestions when ordering according to your personal preference. There's a few indoor and outdoor tables (in the KTP plaza, not actually outside) and I did see a few people working. If you're in the Koreatown area, i would still recommend checking them out and supporting a very sweet Asian-owned business! Came here to grab coffee as this place was trending on social media. The store is located in a plaza, and when I got here in the afternoon, it wasn't too busy. We ordered their mugwort latte which is what they are known for, the black sesame eispanner, and the earl grey financier. The mugwort latte was okay (3/5). To be honest, it tasted like chrysanthemum tea, but the flavor is a unique one to have as a latte. Wasn't my favorite but worth a try since I don't know any other place that sells mugwort lattes. The black sesame latte was good (4/5): This was better than the mugwort latte (imo) but it was bitter. If you like strong espresso taste, you'll probably like this. Earl grey financier (5/5): This cake is delicious, it was pretty light and the flavor was pungent. The cream is just a layer on top of the cake, so the pastry is mostly cake with a layer of cream. I personally liked that cake:cream ratio but I was sorta expecting that the cream filled up the middle of the cake. Overall, this place was okay. The aesthetics was great and they have a few inside seating available. I'll be open to trying this place again but I'd try their other drinks. read more

I LOVE THEIR MUGWORT EINSPANNER I wish I can drink it everyday. I personally love mugwort everything and I love how this drink has very deep mugwort flavor. I also tried their mugwort latte and it is also amazing. The difference is that mugwort latte contains an espresso shot and the einspanner doesn't. It is located inside korean town plaza so parking is convenient. The cafe validates for parking which is nice. There are some seats available for the cafe. Didn't find anything special or impressive for the service or ambiance but I will go back 100% because their drinks are amazing. Cute coffee shop nestled in a corner of Koreatown Plaza near the main entrance. The interior is cute, modern, and bustling with that newly opened cafe energy. They provide free water from a pitcher/tap. They have plenty of seating, both indoors and semi-outdoors (outside the cafe, but still inside the mall). Great place to study and meet up with friends. I'm sure all the drinks are great, but as a vegan, the options available to me are quite confusing. They have milk substitutes which is great, but the staff collectively seem unclear about whether or not the cream on top of the lattes is vegan. On one occasion, I was told that the cream is vegan. On a different occasion, I was told that the cream is vegan only if you request it with alt milk. And when I last visited, I was informed that the cream simply isn't vegan and that I shouldn't order the drink if I don't drink dairy. With all that said, the pistachio latte I had was FANTASTIC. They even have tiny bits of pistachio in it which really adds to the drinking experience. I sadly won't be ordering it again because I don't want to risk drinking dairy, but I'd definitely recommend it to others. Hope that the staff can be more well-informed about their vegan options especially since there's a large audience of non-dairy coffee drinkers in 2025. Additionally, this can be even more serious to those with severe dairy allergies. But overall, I'd definitely recommend this place especially for those into Korean-style cafes! read more

Taking place at Koreatown plaza, you could shoo away the headache for finding parking when you paid a visit. It's located close to one of the entrance, right above H mart. Plenty of seats were available and it wasn't as busy as typical cafe in K-town since many of the guests were actually having them for to-go, or just sit for awhile then leave right after finishing their drinks. IYKYK, most cafes around the area had people hanging for hours, making it tricky to find seats. Like most other coffee shops in this area, they did offer abundant choices of drinks with the signature cream top. It excited me knowing they offered Earl Grey Latte, as I was a HUGE FAN of Earl Grey paired with coffee. Apparently, O Beem's version had the earl grey being the cream top. The default came with oat milk, which I substituted for almond as I wasn't in the same boat with oat milk's fan (no offense!). It was pretty nice, though I would prefer it to be slightly sweeter and would fancy bolder earl grey taste in it. Still worth trying if you're curious, but wouldn't say it beated my current #1 favorite for Earl Grey Coffee, which was from Stagger. To my surprise, I was more hooked by the dessert than the coffee. I went for their Matcha Croffle and that matcha cream, which somehow reminded me of Angelina's Mont Blanc due to the shape, was such delicacy! It was thick and bold, well balanced by the light cream underneath it and blended well with the refreshing raspberry toppings on top of the flaky croffle. I never had a yuzu with peach drink before, so I was pleasantly surprised after tasting it. The yuzu brings out a slight refreshing note to the drink, making it a great combination with the peach syrup. I do want to say that the peach flavor does dominate the yuzu flavor of the drink, so if you are looking for a refreshing yuzu ade, this is not something you should be ordering. Other than that, the service was solid and the drinks were ready about 3 minutes after ordering. There is about 4 tables in the store, so it can be a suitable place to study. The shop is very clean and has a lot of tables for groups. Service was really good. The worker there was explaining some of the different coffee items and dessert items which I tried.
