Unusual but yummy drinks and deserts. Located in the Koreatown plaza on the 2nd floor (off the street level), it is a must try if you're in the area. The cafe is small but they do have both indoor and outdoor seating. You place your order at the counter and are given a pager that will buzz you when your order is ready. We got the London Fog, the pistachio latte and the Dubai chocolate croffle. Everything was delicious. We liked the London Fog drink the best. The Croffle was also good but wish the ice cream had more pistachio flavoring. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and would go there again. Underground parking available for free with validation. I
I love the black sesame einspanner so much that I can't try the other drinks because I keep ordering the same thing Service is quick and they give you a buzzer if you decide to wander off somewhere while waiting for your drink. Always my go-to coffee place before getting my haircut upstairs :)
I wanted to get something to drink after doing some shopping so I stopped by here. I ordered the black sesame einspanner. The drink was soo creamy and the flavors are well layered. I also really liked the foam on top which made the drink more rich. Drink came out within a minute of me ordering which I really enjoyed. The staff is also very friendly. I definitely will be back to try more drinks. Try it out if you like. :)
Honestly don't write many reviews for cafes but this spot was such a surprise. I heard about this spot a while back but finally went years later and I loved it. First of all it's inside of a mall so there is parking (validated tooooo). They do have a selection of matcha, einspanners, cute trendy lattes as well as a cute almost study area (kinda small) to accompany it. I personally wanted to write this review for the mugwort einspanner. It was earthy, sweet, creamy, and such a refreshing midday drink. I don't think I've had anything like it. Will be coming back!!
Cute cafe in Koreatown. Saw this place get reviewed by a matcha instagram page and made it a goal to visit while in LA. I got the matcha einspanner and it was delicious. it has a creamy top and a bold matcha taste, mixed together just tasted so good! If you're in the area and craving matcha, I would definitely recommend. They have other drinks on their menu, as well as some yummy looking pastries! Parking: they have parking lots in the surrounding area. Fairly easy to find.
Located inside Korean Plaza. A small & clean cafe with unique flavors on the menu. Mugwort Latte - Herby but not overwhelming, thankfully. I liked it, my bf did not. Hit or miss type of drink. Black Sesame Latte - I usually love black sesame drinks but I didn't like the texture in this. I would've preferred it smoother. Flavor was decent. Parking - 3 hrs free with validation. Not a bad try but nothing to come back for.
Newer coffee and pastry cafe. The inside has a modern aesthetic and they have a lot of trendy items on their menu including Dubai chocolate croffles We came in to check their menu but wanted just a little snack and opted for their early gray financier (good flavor, not too sweet, not too buttery and perfect for sharing) and the peach yuzu add, bubbly and refreshing. I personally am not a big sparkling ade person so I'm not the biggest judge on giving a recommendation on this style of drink, but it was good enough for me to sip on. I definitely would come back to try other items on their menu.
The cafe has a cute monochrome aesthetic that's clean and minimal. It's located inside Koreatown Plaza, so you can get free parking validated for 3 hours, and there are a few tables if you want to study. The drinks at definitely look amazing on the menu. I ordered the black sesame einspanner, and while it was pretty, the taste didn't quite live up to the hype. The layers felt really separated, and, it was like biting into sugar crystals. My mom tried the peach yuzu ade, which also leaned on the sweet side, but it was more refreshing overall and had a nice citrusy kick to it.
I don't get the hype of this place. Looking over their menu it looks like it would be good. They have different einspänners and some unique drinks such as their red bean einspänner. They even had some yummy looking pastries like the black sesame cookie and the hyped dubai waffle. But sadly what we had were underwhelming. I got to try their popular mugwort einspänner that everyone recommends. No! Just don't. It is not like matcha at all so y'all reviewers and IG influencers can stop. It's maybe an herbal tea thats more like weak coffee. The only thing good was the cream on top. The black sesame latte was also underwhelming. Nothing special and I can think of 2387420 places in LA thats better where you don't have to park in a structure and walk into a mall for. My drink also took a long ass time. They give you a pager thing so it beeps when your drink is ready. There is sitting inside and outside. The shop is located in the Korea Plaza mall on the 2nd floor. It's above H Mart and across from the photo shop. The staff is nice but man the drinks took forever on that Saturday around 1pm. You will not be catching me here again.
It's such a small and quaint cafe!! I'm an avid lover of earl grey, and the way it's perfectly achieved in such a form is amazing. The earl grey was light but not overwhelming, the notes of earl grey are present but balanced with the milk!! Notably, one of my favorite earl grey drinks!! As for service, staff is welcoming and nice!! They're relatively quick and consistent with their drinks, no complaints here !! c:
This is a Cute and minimalistic cafe that I've been bookmarked since I saw a reel of this place!! Everything here looks delicious so I couldn't help but ordered 3 drinks plus 2 pastries for breakfast!! lol I'm not a big fan of red beans but their Red Beans einspänner and mugwort einspänner is a must try when you are here! Perfect sweetness and you can taste the flavor but without over powering the drink. I also got the black sesame latte which was really good too. You can instantly taste the black sesame latte which is the nutty toasty flavor. But I can't take caffeine drinks that well these days and it still tastes good after two days. They got a couple new items in and one of them is Dubai waffle and it is a must try. The way they make the texture and flavor is on point. Then I got the then cookie butter cream croissant. It is just as yummy as the waffle. Nice and creamy!!! I also got a black sesame dessert bar from them togo. It was also delicious. I love their service and I can't want to come back for the rest of the other stuff. It took me two days to finish everything but it was still good the next time! If you like my vibe. Came on a weekday so parking was easy. Located on the 2nd floor of the Koreatown Plaza. Obeem has a nice clean look. They have seating both on the inside and outside. There weren't a lot of people so service was fast. I got the Strawberry Matcha cream. It was sooo good and creamy! I would say it's more of a strawberry milk with some matcha so if you are looking for a stronger matcha flavor this drink is not for you. My sister got the green grape aurora ade and she liked it. It's fizzy, a little tart and had some grape pieces in it. This is definitely a place I recommend!

I love the aesthetic of this cafe- it somehow compliments the vintage mall vibe in an elevated and calming way. We came for the drinks but the dessert pastries were too tempting and ended up being the favorite thing we ate that day. Highly recommend stopping in here to grab a drink before shopping or after eating in the food court. Friendly service and pretty fast even though they were busy. read more

The ambiance was very nice, decor was great. Service was good as drinks came out quick. Although I must say that the matcha einspanner I ordered was def not the best. The matcha type wasn't the best, and was kinda sweet and rich. The black sesame one was much better. read more
Black Sesame lattes are a hit or miss in my experience, but I stopped by O Beem yesterday and tried their version. I have to say it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I hadn't been at the KTP in a while and I was pleaseantly surprised to see this mew cafe open. The space inside isnt so big, but they do have tables outside and they seem to be pretty packed. They gave me a locator and the order was done in less than 10 minutes. I loved it. Staff was so nice and the coffee was absolutely incredible. Do I recommend? It's a very small coffee shop next to the main entrance. The decor is very simple and clean. There's limited seating inside but does have spacious seating outside the shop. I wanted to try their croissants and croffles, but they were out. I end up trying their black sesame and berry financier. I got the black sesame einspanner and regular latte as well. The drinks came out looking very nice. The drinks were solid. My bf is really impressed by their drinks. They're not too sweet and was perfect. I've never had financier before, but these were really good! They're surprisingly soft and also not too sweet. It goes really well with their drinks. I would recommend checking it out! Oh boy this place was not good. The strawberry match was so bad I had to toss it after a couple sips. My mom got the vanilla latte and she said it wasn't good and couldnt taste the coffee flavor. This is a new cafe that opened in ktown! My friend and I came on a saturday afternoon and there were a good amount of people. I got the mugwort einspanner which was around $7.67 total. I never had mugwort flavored drinks before so it really intrigued me and the drink was actually pretty good. The coffee wasn't too strong, which I liked. They validate parking which is a plus. read more
People are dead serious when they say this place serves up extremely sweet drinks. I got the pistachio latte with an unsweetened base but the cream was still insanely sweet. The cream was also fondant-level stiff and the pistachio tasted artificial. I'd say this is a pretty typical dessert cafe that has all of the aesthetics but it's like impossible to finish a drink. read more

Tucked inside the Koreatown Plaza is this minimalist cafe which is must-visit for einspanners lovers! We tried their black sesame and matcha einspanners which were both topped with sweat cream and absolutely delicious! They also have unique desserts, like their matcha croffle that's topped with matcha Mont Blanc. read more

seating: minimal in shop itself, but more tables outside in the mall outlets: none wifi: yes 3 hour parking validation! the mugwort einspanner was pretty tasty, with an earthy/minty undertone. it was my first time trying mugwort and wasn't the biggest fan, so i later added coffee to the drink-- it was phenomenal. i think the mugwort latte would be a real hit if you just wanted a hint of mugwort flavor and to try something new. service and menu are available in both english and korean. very friendly staff! read more

new cafe located in a big shopping plaza! got green grape ade, mugwort einspanner, matcha einspanner + matcha croffle. the mugwort einspanner stood out to me the most for unique drinks since i haven't had/seen it yet in cafes! the green grape ade is super refreshing, would recommend. i would probably skip on the matcha einspanner since it's mainly cream as you can see in the pic. the matcha croffle presentation is so aesthetic, the matcha mont blanc is a nice touch to it, unfortunately the croffle itself was pretty hard. the cafe is new so i can def see room for improvement! staff is super nice and the place is clean with lots of seats inside and outside. they give you a buzzer whenever your drinks are ready which is convenient! read more

10/10 Experience My matcha was genuinely so good. I've been cafe hopping and rank this one the best. The barista was nice, had good recs, and made my drink really fast! The store is comfortable and clean. For 1 Drink and 1 Pastry it was $14.50 The Pastry was really good! They will validate parking if you ask. read more

Mugworth Einspänner: I highly recommend getting this drink if you want to try a matcha alternative! It has the same earthy taste, and the sweet foam on top is SOOO yummy! To me it kinda taste similar to a cookies and creme flavor. In comparison to the Mugworth Latte, I feel like you lose some of the mugwort taste because of the nature of how strong the flavor of coffee is so for first timers I would try the einspanner to get the true taste first! I love the amount of seating that they offer both inside the cafe, outside their shop in the mall, and directly outside under the overhang of the mall! The barista that we had was super informative on each drink so if you have any questions don't be shy to ask, they seem more than happy to describe the art of how each drink is curated! read more

New cafe alert. They have a large drink selection with plenty of seating and lots of cream top. If you need your matcha fix and don't want to deal with parking in ktown, I usually stop by here after I finish running errands and grocery shopping. read more
I love supporting new coffee shops when they open so I had to end the year at O Beem. It is inside of the mall on Western and 9th on the second floor at the corner by the escalators. There's a few tables inside so you might be able snag a table if you're lucky. I ordered the sesame latte and a strawberry financier and they were just ok. I thought the black sesame latte didn't taste enough like black sesame and wasn't too strong. The financier wasn't anything extraordinary either. I'm curious to try their matchas so if I were to go back, I'd give it a try. read more
A 3.5 realistically. I would like to start off by saying that I am on a mission to try every cream top/ eispanner coffee on the planet! I got the black sesame eispanner which was pretty good. I loved that the flavor of the coffee was not so watered by the cream on top. Black sesame financier- I do appreciate the fact that it was not too sweet but I was not blown away. It's soft in texture and a bit dense but honestly for about $6 I would much rather get another latte. Service is very friendly however they did validate my ticket incorrectly and I was asked to pay at the exit.... Which was awkward Parking - since this cafe is inside Korea town plaza there is plenty of parking in the lot. Just remember to get your parking ticket validated read more

Cute little coffee shop with lots of seating inside and outside (which is also indoors, inside the plaza). Their signatures are unique. My favorite is the Macadamia Nut Latte, it's sweet, creamy, and has a good coffee flavor. Overall, would recommend a visit. read more

Great place to get some work done and don't have to worry about parking. The mugwort einspanner had mugwort come through but it was too sweet so I could only mostly taste the sugar and milk. I think a little bit of salt and cutting back on the sugar will improve this drink greatly. I hope for the best for this cafe! read more

I saw a post about this cafe and was so excited to try this cafe out. It really reminds me of the cafes in Korea from the drinks and desserts, to the vibes and decor. Mugwort Einspanner - is so soo good I came twice in a week. There's a perfect amount of sweetness, creaminess and earthiness from the mugwort. Black Sesame Financier - was pretty good. I'd definitely get it again as well as try all the other flavors. The filling helps it not be too dry and the financier itself is cakey with a slight chew. Chestnut Croffle - was hard as a brick. Aesthetically it's really pretty and definitely reminds me of all the pretty desserts in Korea but we could barely cut through it with the knife and fork and we ended up only eating half of it because of how dense it was. Employees were really nice both times and since we came a little late the second time they even warned us that the Mugwort Einspanner was caffeinated and asked if we were okay with it still. Overall, I can't wait to come back and try all the other drinks and financiers - I just have to convince myself not to order the Mugwort Einspanner again so that I can give the other items on the menu a try. read more

Honestly great addition to koreatown plaza- their mugwort einspanner was so good!! You have to mix it but the mugwort flavor was strong and it was creamy and not too sweet. They also do parking validation! Can't wait to try their croffles :) read more

I tried the black sesame latte bc I didn't want caffeine this day and this drink didn't have coffee in it. This drink is exactly what it sounds like, just milk and black sesame. I don't think there wasn't anything that stood out to me for this drink. I did want to note that the drink was a bit gritty bc of the black sesame, so the texture could definitely be improved. My friend got the mugwort einspanner but she said that she couldn't really taste the mugwort. I hope to try their matcha drinks, hopefully they're better! read more
