I would give zero stars if I could! We ordered our food and was given a buzzer. We sat outside and waited and waited but the buzzer never went off so my daughter and I decided to wait inside, right in front of the counter to see when our food was ready. We watched countless people who ordered AFTER us get their food first. And yet, our buzzer remained silent. So we continue to wait until there were no more people ordering or waiting. It was literally us staring at the cashier when suddenly the cashier had an "a-ha" moment and pushed a button and our buzzer buzzed. I usually don't write reviews, and this being my first, I just wanted to express how disappointed and upset my experience has been with this restaurant located inside The Source. Given the circumstances surrounding the pandemic of COVID-19, I wanted to give this place a fair chance- I usually hold relatively low standards anyways, and I was excited to try this place out for their seafood cold noodles. However, from beginning to end, this experience has truly been upsetting. Although I am easily impressed, these seafood cold noodles were not prepared fresh and contained too much MSG (noticeably too much). However, I wouldn't write a review just with these flaws- maybe it was just a bad day for them. Yet, it's crucial to note that while I was being rung up for my total, the cashier failed to provide the correct amount of change- a mistake I myself did not notice until about 10 minutes after we had received the receipt and was waiting patiently for our food. Then, after noticing, I immediately returned (no food in hand yet) to ask about the mistake. Instead of apologizing, the cashier was incredibly dismissive and just assumed she could give me an extra $5 as compensation; however, the receipt clearly showed that I was due $20 in change. Although I was returned the change that was due, the lack of customer service was incredibly appalling, and we will not be returning back. Usually, it's fine that the restaurant can get busy and tied up, but the quality of the food and the lack of respect was truly upsetting and disappointing. Will not be returning :( read more

My sister ordered the Sashimi mixed bowl to-go, came home to eat it, and realized that something was off. After trying each ingredient one by one, we knew the white fish that was served to us was rotten. Worried that we would get food poisoning, my sister called the restaurant to let them know that they were serving spoiled white fish. The lady who picked up, said there was no way that the fish was spoiled because thousands of people ordered the sashimi bowl today and no one else complained. She basically denied what my sister said and called her a liar and proceeded to say to bring it back to the restaurant so the cook can taste it to check if in fact it was spoiled. Her attitude and demeanor on the phone was so rude and nasty that I got involved and decided to go back to the store to have them taste it. Mind you we are still in a pandemic and were appalled by her saying that they would need to taste it. When we arrived, it was 7:45pm, a man said "we are closed." But my sister let him know we just called and let a lady know that we got spoiled fish. I think he was the owner. He starts by letting my sister know she needs to calm down and we hadn't even started explaining anything to him. This fueled the start of the debacle. I told him to try it since that's what they said they were gonna do. He didn't try it and another older man came out and smelled the fish and whispered to the owner "it's spoiled" in korean. But doesn't apologize and proceeds to say oh we sold 1000 bowls today and no one complained. I asked him to show the receipts and when he printed it out, he struggled to show me what he claimed. Then the older man said "next time don't order the sashimi bowl." And we responded by letting them know we weren't coming back. We asked to talk to the lady on the phone, but the man said she already left. It's sad because you would think the owner would have better customer service, but had none whatsoever. I didn't need a refund. I just wanted to hear an apology and some concern for the fact that we could have gotten food poisoning and sick. If you want fresh sushi, DO NOT eat here. It can potentially give you massive diarrhea and stomach pain. I repeat DO NOT spend your money on a place that calls you and liar, then admits that it is spoiled, and in the end doesn't apologize or show any concern for your well being. I never write bad reviews, but just had to let people know their customer service is terrible and the sushi is rotten. read more
