Sat afternoon we decided to venture into this establishment and try some of the dogs. I tried the cheese dog dusted with regular sugar. There is also cinnamon sugar as an option. The outside was absolutely amazing. Softer than a corn dog outside but just as if not more delicious. There was melted cheese inside with the hot dog which was also great. The dipping sauces complimented nicely. There was an option of garlic which I believe was mayonnaise based. Hot chili sauce and sweet chili sauce and basic mustard and ketchup. They have a pretty good variety of dogs for a variety of tastes. They also have just a cheese version or a half and half. I'll definitely be back to try something else. read more

You have to try one of these Korean corn dogs, it's novel and it's fun! We had the squid ink half cheese and half hot dog. It's a new twist to the corn dog. I tried their potato mozza dog. It's just as crispy and crunchy as it looks, with plenty of cheese on the inside. They also have a ton of powders and sauces up front that you can put on your hotdog. While the food tasted good, I had to wait 15-20 minutes for one hotdog, which wasn't ideal. read more

First of all this place should have 5 stars!!!! It was absolutely delicious they asked if I wanted sugar and I got it for my #1 and it made it so delicious I enjoyed every bite of it. The #9 was amazing its like eating potato fries and a corn dog at the same time but its better than a normal corn dog. I also enjoyed the number #4 but my favorites were #1 & #9. The K dogs aren't like regular corn dogs if that's what you're looking for. They have a thick crispness around the hog dog part. Also if you enjoy kpop they play videos on the screen to watch. I came here on a Monday at 4, so thankfully no line. My first time trying Korean corn dogs and I got one of the potato mozzarella and asked the cashier his favorite (#7 the 1/2 mozzarella 1/2 hot dog). He also asked if I wanted cinnamon sugar which initially took me aback, but I'm so glad I said yes on the #7 to have it. It was so good! They have a bunch of sauces to choose from: sweet chili, mustard, garlic sauce, honey mustard, ketchup and powder toppings like honey butter, onion powder, "snowing," parmesan, and coconut. Most of the sweet ones I could see being good on the sweet potato dog. I added the honey butter powder to my #7 and the parmesan to my #10 and garlic sauce. I liked that they had a small sign next to the toppings on how to eat it. I didn't know you don't eat it off the stick or dip, so that was helpful! Flavor of the mozzarella and dough is really good! Hot dog itself wasn't my favorite. Place was kind of dirty, especially for being slow: most of the tables were dirty and hadn't been bussed with only 5 people in the restaurant. Music and TVs were nice--I love watching k-pop music videos! From start to finish with no line it took about 5 minutes to get my order, which is pretty good, esp since you see them making the k-dogs fresh. Overall I would come back for any of the mozzarella dogs or maybe try the rice cake, but didn't like the 1/2 of the #7 hotdog and am glad it was just 1/4 of my order. It's very similar to cheese in a stick but wayyyyy better. I got the mozzarella and cheddar dog. My spouse got the potato cheese one. They called out our order in no time. The staff member asked if we wanted to cover it in sugar. We were both like whatt? So we said hey let's do it. The cheese with the sugar took it over the top! Oh K-Dog is a growing chain of Korean rice hotdogs--batter made of rice flour instead of wheat flour, which makes for a delicious chewy texture that is more filling. I've had their food at the Houston H-Mart and Austin H-Mart locations before, so I knew what to expect when I walked in. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that they added Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) to the menu, and, of course, I had to try it. It was super delicious--spicy enough for a Korean! The potato hotdog (a rice hotdog covered with cubes of potato then deep fried for goodness) is always on point. If you haven't tried Korean hotdogs before, then be sure to get it with a generous sprinkling of sugar. It may sound weird to you at first, but it's the only way to go. Though I didn't have it this time, their Egg Toasts with garlic brioche buns are heavenly. This place is in the middle of an area with a high concentration of Asian food options, but I'd recommend this place over its neighbors on any given day. read more

I've been anticipating the opening of oh K dog and it did not disappoint! I got the cheddar hot dog and it was delicious! The staff was nice and I got my dog pretty quick I've never tried it with sugar but with a good mix! A suggestion I would make is to move the extra condiments and powder to another side of the room. Someone before me had 6 dogs they were putting condiments and it took awhile. I think it would be easier and more Covid safe if the extra condiments were moved so that the space isn't so crowded there. read more

I ordered the #11 Sweet Potato Hot dog (right) and my friend ordered the #12 Sweet Potato Mozza Dog. Mine is clearly burnt, it is impossible to bite, and the potato doesn't taste like potato. My friend's (on the left), looks clearly different. I went up to ask the manager and he said "It just LOOKS burnt, it's not burnt, the color of sweet potato is like that." I clearly said I ATE IT and it taste burnt!!! He kept arguing with me that it was just my perception of SIGHT instead of TASTE. He refuse to give me a refund and insist I try their #10 Potato Hot Dog. I asked if it's going to look and taste the same (burnt!!) then what's the point?? I just want a refund! And he refuse and continued to walk off saying he's going to make a new potato one. He said he's making a new sweet and he will show me that it will look (again) burnt!!! Wow!!! I didn't even know that these hot dogs existed until last night! My daughter and I were driving down Airport Boulevard looking for some thing to eat after a late meeting, and we happened upon this shopping center with so many great choices! We ended up getting several different things from a few different businesses, but this was one of my favorites. the woman working at the counter was super friendly and helped explain all of the choices. We ended up going with the original half mozzarella, half hotdog for one of our choices, and then the mozzarella covered and sweet potato dip and cinnamon sugar for the second. Hands down, the sweet potato was one of the best things I've ever tasted. It was just the perfect amount of savoriness and sweetness. There was a perfect crunch and softness as well. As a fellow Korean American I am loath to post a negative comment about a Korean eatery - but when you have customers who have been waiting for awhile - telling them to wait for the door dash order when clearly the door dash order came after their order is not the proper thing to either say or do. The owner looked tired - but man this is just bad, bad customer service. Plus not getting the order right in terms of the little extra of having cinnamon on the dog after you have already told the customer to wait is simply doubling down by handing over a small container just shows me how tired you are and again bad (not poor) customer service. The photographic menu is nice however it is easy to order the wrong item based on the way it is arranged. When I did just that the wait staff simply said yes it has happened before when I commented I was disappointed that I did not get the item I wanted. i've had korean corn dogs before and loved them. i was craving them lately and finally took the long drive over to K-Dog to get them! i've never been to K-Dog only other locations. i will say these tasted a little funky. i got the potato cheddar and it tasted like soggy old french fries. i will say there was also not a lot of cheese like the other ones i've tried. i'm not sure if this is consistent or js a bad experience. maybe the grease was just old and that's why it had an odd taste. there was also no free water which was a bummer especially with something so heavy. the service was alright the people were kind. i might give it another chance, hoping it was just a bad batch! read more
