Shoyu tuna, beets and seaweed salad
    Jamie W.

4.5 pretty good for poke not in Hawaii! They cut the fish especially nice and neat and small. The seaweed salad was perfect. The beets were a tad salty. My son had the spicy bowl and loved all his components. Seems a littttttle pricey but def a nice poke option to have in LA. As always parking is rough. But food came quick and service was friendly. I didn't see a dessert option but would have loved some sort of Hawaiian treat. I'll be back!

The poke is decent. My visit was in January and I haven't had a craving to go back. I had a regular bowl with spicy tuna and chili garlic shrimp. For the two banchan - kimchi cucumber & seaweed salad. Everything tasted OK but didn't hit the spot. Their watermelon mint agua tasted like it was just water and sugar cane. My bowl was around $19 and the drink was around $7 excluding tax. The service was good. The place is clean. Glad I gave them a try before they went viral, I wish them the best of luck!

Mixed feeling. Poke was fresh and sides were decent but not sure if the size or the quality makes sense enough to return. The spicy mayo tuna was good but I preferred the regular tuna. Crab salad was okay but not jaw dropping. I went when there was no line but I can't imagine waiting for this bowl, it's good and worth trying once but I don't see myself returning. Staff was kind and street parking was easy on the weekday.

I heard this place went viral recently, but I have been coming here ever since they opened when no one knew this place existed, with no lines and no wait. Now the line is almost out the door with more tables and chairs inside and outside, and it is just chaos in here. My fiancé thinks the shoyu poke here is the best he has had in LA, which I completely have to disagree with. I honestly don't think this poke shop is worth waiting for. Even the price is not too friendly. Because I lived in Hawaii, I think I can say what real poke is because I had it way too many times. Poke here and most other poke shops in California don't really serve real poke. In Hawaii, poke is simply eaten by itself or over hot rice only. No sides offered. So-called 'California-style' poke is almost always served with sides commonly like the seaweed salad, mac salad, and random veggies like edamame. But wait a minute, did you say KALE? Excuse me? What the heck. I wouldn't go out of your way and wait in lines to eat here because it is not worth it in my humble opinion. No poke in Southern California is on par with poke from Hawaii, but if I had to choose the closest one, it would be the one in the South Bay. How can you call this shop a poke shop when you can't even see the poke to choose yourself like Hawaii? Everything is hidden in the back of the kitchen so here is nothing to look at inside the restaurant but wet and dirty floors. And it's poke, not poki. Thank you.

Long overdue to try Ohana Superette as Bodega Park is one of my favourites spots on the east side. The staff were super friendly and the new interior was gorgeous. The space felt open but inviting. The service was quick and the food was fresh, delicious and super flavourful. Genuinely some of the best Poke i've had in a while!

Came on a weekend for lunch and the line was out the door. After that was another long wait for the food but it was also packed inside so that was to be expected. The poke was a lot more expensive than most spots I've had before BUT I will say the sauces are true to the description and the portions will still fill as well. I got a regular with half and half and was still pretty satiated by the end (and I have an endless appetite). I do think for the price though I'd have wanted more from a $20 bowl. The white rice is just plain white rice and the sides were either out of stock, varying, or kind of just mediocre regular sides you'd expect from any poke bowl.

Great location with a cool vibe, super friendly service, and the poke is bomb! So fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I'm already craving it again!!

The poke was one of the best I've ever had. Quality was top notch Michelin level. Poke was excellent, ban-chan was excellent! Service was fast and the place was packed. Design of interior is very clean and proper. Really enjoyed their watermelon drink as well. Definitely will be back!!

Wanted to check out the hype but I don't think I'll be back. Got the spicy salmon and shoyu tuna with four different sides between both. Sides were lacking in flavor- the Korean cucumber kimchi was too light and the crab macaroni salad was just macaroni-y and couldn't really tell what the crab adds to it. Fish was just okay. The regular and large sizes weren't that different and I felt like the price difference for a size up isn't worth it at all.

Yum! I want to try the shoyu tuna next, but the sweet unagi salmon and spicy tuna were tasty. The salmon was a bit gingery for my taste, but the spicy tuna was good! It's also a bit pricey for poke, but it's very wet and flavorful, and the crab macaroni salad and cucumbers were good. Ambience - casual with indoor seating and limited metered parking outside, service - quick and friendly. Here are my poke rankings in CA so far: 1) Santo Market 2) Jus Poke 3) Nuc Poke 4) Poke & More 5) Ohana Superette Message me if you have more poke recs :')

I always miss poke from Hawaii. I had a chance to try this place and did a take out. I got two bowls of Shoyu Tuna, shrimp, spicy tuna, with kimchi cucumber, crab salad, and glass noodles. The freshness and taste definitely remind me of a good spot in Waikiki. I'm so happy to find this place ! I also got the spamasubi and it is unique on its own. It's all street parking and it seems like it could get busy. Takeout might be a better choice.

I really enjoyed this poke, I find it to actually be the best in LA. Really fresh ingredients, densely packed and very filling. Their location is quaint and the seating isn't the most comfortable for long dining. There was a line when I went on a weekday so ensure it to be busy.

Oof that was a GREAT bowl of Poke, but you'll have to PAY for it. Heard about Ohana Superette opening and that they had Poke so I had to swing by. Came by on a weekday late afternoon and by the time i got there 2 of the top choices were sold out, so if you want to make sure you can try the Poke you want try to get here early. I went ahead and ordered a large bowl with half of the regular shoyu poke you're familiar with in hawaii, and the spicy salmon? (i cant remember) but regardless the Poke here is GREAT. honestly the closest thing to the quality you'd get in hawaii. Fresh FRESH fish , and great flavor. Also the sides were on point as well. the cucumber kimchi and the potato salad were IT. Overall though I have to say it did almost take an entire half hour to get this 1 bowl made, so if you're impatient i recommend you order ahead online and make a pickup order. All this greatness comes at a price, and if i recall correctly the large bowl was just about $25, so be ready to pony up, but honestly its the best in the central LA area so you're going to have to pay to play here. Check this place out!

Almost like I ordered a large or something...I had it with edamame and seaweed salad on the side, with rice being a complementary side as well. The food is as good as Poke could possibly get, so I would definitely come back if I were in the area. The interior is pretty small with some seating along the wall and with around 2-3 tables outside. While I was able to find parking at the connected parking lot, I can see why it'd be a challenge as the parking lot is really small. But there is a neighborhood right next to it and a parking lot across the street so it's no worries on that end. Minimal interaction with staff but they seemed cool.

Food: My husband and I both ordered poke bowls with a mix of Hawaiian and spicy poke, along with…read moreshoyu and California roll poke. Everything tasted incredibly fresh right away, with clean flavors and a great balance of umami, savory richness, and just the right amount of spice. Each component complemented the others well, and nothing felt overly heavy or overpowering. It's easy to see why people say this is one of the most authentic poke spots in the area, the simplicity and quality really shine through. That said, personal preference-wise, I still find myself leaning toward Poke Express in Las Vegas (though to be fair, I've never been to Hawaii, so that might change one day). Price: Pricing is pretty standard for quality poke in Southern California. A regular bowl (about 1/3 lb of fish with rice and a side) typically runs around $15-17, while larger bowls can range from about $19-24 depending on portion size. Overall, expect to spend around $15-25 per person, which feels fair given the freshness and portion sizes. Ambiance: This is very much a grab‑and‑go style spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. It's located right along the street and almost always has a long line of people waiting, which tells you a lot about its popularity. Inside, there's a small bar area with a handful of high chairs, and a couple of tables outside, but seating overall is pretty limited. Not really a place to linger, more for a quick, casual bite. Service: Despite how busy it constantly is, service is efficient and straightforward. The staff keeps things moving quickly and stays organized, so even with a line, the wait doesn't feel too bad. No frills, but solid and dependable. Parking: There's a small side parking lot that can fit maybe around 10 cars, which fills up quickly during peak hours. Otherwise, you'll likely have to find street parking nearby and walk over. Not impossible, but it does take a little extra effort, especially when it's busy.

The service was good and fish/toppings plentiful. The employee was patient when we asked for almost all the toppings. Love the lemon cream! The crispy onion is what keeps us coming back--a must!! The ambience is simple but clean. We ate there and could easily have a conversation. They provide iced water in a dispenser. Bathroom was clean. Parking can be tough which is a hindrance for us, but today we found a spot easily. When we left, the parking lot was bustling. We really enjoyed our poke bowl! The fish was fresh. We got salmon x2, scallops, and shrimp. For our sides, seaweed salad and crabmeat. Base was half kale/half brown rice. Almost all the toppings. We got the garlic ponzu with spicy mayo in one corner. Eel sauce was drizzled all over which I didn't prefer, but it tasted good in the end. Our tummies were happy and satisfied!
