The food is amazing!!! Beef brisket sandwich, angry bird sandwich and caramel apple pie was delicious! I cannot say enough good things anout the food! Appetizers were fantastic! Peanut butter bacon jam served with the soft pretzels was to die for! I did not expect it to be so good! That being said, our service was horrible. Our server,. Katelyn, was not only inattentive but downright rude. She blatantly ignored everyone in our party of 7. The rest of the wait staff was friendly and accommodating so I would definitely go back for the fantastic food. I will specifically request NOT to have Katelyn as my server. She was terrible and had it not been for the exceptional food quality I would not have returned. It's a shame one person can bring down the rating so significantly. I just wanted to put this out here as our recent experience with OHSO was quite underwhelming. We have been ordering dinner every week from a local business in order to support them through the shut down and help them keep afloat during this difficult time for small businesses. I have to say that every restaurant we have purchased from have been extremely appreciative and went out of their way to make sure we understood their gratefulness. Well, we ordered food for our entire family this last week and even a guest and we were all very disappointed. It looked like all the meals had been thrown together last minute, nothing was really that good, and they completely shorted everyone's meal that had fries. Fries. The easiest and cheapest thing that can be included with any meal and my wife and I just gave tiny amount to our kids so they would have at least a small amount to enjoy. We've been to OSHO before for drinks and it was fine, but I would skip the food if this is typical. They seemed more interested in selling their liquors than food, which is fine, but when families order food from you in order to help out your business, show at least a little thankfulness and appreciation. read more

Went in for brunch this morning. I love OHSO, from the cocktails to the food and atmosphere. We had the best server ever, Danni. She knew all of the menus, made recommendations based on our likes, and not just her own preferences. She was attentive, personable, and paid attention to details. Things like well-bussed tables and swept floors are so important to a quality experience, especially one where dogs are welcome and you don't want them eating off of the floor. Visited OHSO for the first time tonight. The beer was great! Food was decent but WAY overpriced for the quality. My main complaint would be the terrible customer service. From the moment we stepped in the hostess was rude, had no smile, and barely bothered to greet us. The bartender had a constant eye roll to compliment his man bun. He even broke two glasses in the ice bin and threw his hands in the air as he walked off and let someone else INCORRECTLY pick the GLASS out of the ICE BIN!? The wait for a table was long and when we were ready to be seated the front hostess didn't even walk us to the back porch area. Since we hadn't been here before, I had no idea where to go and wish she would've showed us especially after we had asked her to. The waitress took our order and food came out with a decent time but the quality was not good and couldn't even get a smile out of the girl! I wish we had had some smiling faces to greet us, serve us, and take care of us. OHSO needs to step up their customer service game BIG TIME! read more

I was enjoying dinner with some friends when I went to the bathroom due to an accident. I was in the stall when I heard the employees talking about me saying "f*ck that bit*h" and proceeded to say "I don't care if they hear me" while they were clueless I was in the stall. So my wife and I came back from a day of sunday errands and decide to go to downtown gilbert for brunch. We had a choice between whiskey row and ohso and I wish I would've went to whiskey row. I think that the service was ok, and the beer was substandard. My wife and I ordered and our plates looked great. I had the monte Cristo and my wife had the chicken and waffles with a surprise side of human hair. My wife sent this back as soon as she noticed this, but this was after she had taken a couple of bites. My Monte Cristo was a sad take on this sandwich with a sauce that I could only describe as a raspberry yogurt that has me writing this review from my toliet. I can't say that with this experience that I would ever recommend this place to my friends. read more

I so looked forward to this place opening in downtown Gilbert. I had heard such good things about this place. We decided to try the Brunch. Food was so so...It was packed inside, the hostess was rude. So rather and wait 45 minutes for a table we decided to explore and found the outside bar and tables so we sat outside where the fans were broken and we were seated in the direct sun when I had asked for a shaded table. Positive note outdoors is dog friendly. The mimosas were warm and the service was slow even though most of the tables were empty. Food arrived lukewarm and we were very disappointed. I might try happy hour one day as their menu is more of a happy hour bar menu. It's just ok....with as many choices as you have in downtown Gilbert now I would think that this would have been better. read more

The food is okay but nothing special and definitely not worth what you pay for it. Service is okay...very nice but we never had any condiments for frys etc. Probably won't come back there are plenty of other places on the same street that are better. read more

TERRIBLE service, sat at the bar and never got waited on or asked what I wanted to drink, won't go back again

We visited on a busy Saturday before Mother's Day. We were a party of six with a dog and wanted to sit on the dog patio. After a lengthy wait the hostess seated us along with a personalized water bowl and yummy snacks for our pup. A charming touch. We ordered appetizers and drinks. There was a bit of a lag but understandable as they were clearly slammed. The food was excellent on the brunch menu and we enjoyed the ambience and commotion around us. When we were finished eating we asked for Doggy Bags for leftovers which normally would prompt the server to ask if we were done. After a 5 min lapse or longer signaled to the waitress and I asked for the check. After an uncomfortable wait of ten minutes I excused the rest of my guests to leave. I didn't see our server for another ten minutes and when she came by I asked her again for the bill. Another ten minutes goes by, she's serving other tables and bringing checks to other guests! I was about to ask for a manager and at that moment she finally arrived with our bill. 40 minutes had gone by from the time we asked for the doggy bags. I would have given this place five stars, but the experience was tarnished by the slow service at the end. Really ibex excusable in my view. Doubt we'll be back. read more

Probably some of the worst service I've ever had. We had to find another server to track down our own server and that still took like another 10 minutes. I probably had wait for about 30 minutes before I even got to order a drink.We had three servers come to our table with orders we didn't order. And the food really wasn't impressive. Downtown Gilbert traffic is horrible, And OHSO is just not worth battling the traffic for. I doubt I'll go back here. read more

me and my friend went to OHSO to have a couple drinks. We sat down at the bar, we were handed our menus. Our bartender didn't tell us her name, she came back a few minutes later and asked if we were ready. We asked her for a few more minutes while we looked at the menu being that it was my first time being at this bar. We decided what we wanted and set our menus down on the bar. It took over 10 minutes for a different bartender to ask us if we were taken care of. We got to order our first drinks. I just ordered a single shot of the JANE whiskey and my friend ordered a pint of beer. The shot was great. It then took over 20 minutes for us to be asked if we needed another drink. I had been ready for another drink for quite a while. After watching 4 different bartenders walk by us one finally asked us if everything was okay. By then we were ready to just leave a $20 and leave and go next door to Whiskey Row. I decided to order another shot. I ordered a D.i.C.K (kinda how I feel writing this review) it was a pretty great tasting shot. After finishing that we waited another 5 minutes for a bartender to ask us if we needed anything. We then asked for the bill and decided to leave. The drinks were great but the service was just awful. read more

We went last night and really liked the idea of going with our dogs for dinner. We got there around 9:45 and were told it'd be a 20 minute wait. We end up getting seated right around that time frame. After we order drinks, our waitress then asks if we wanted food. We say we came for dinner and she then tells us we just missed the dinner deadline and we have only a few options to choose from. Although the appetizers we got were very good, it was really disappointing to only get apps for dinner...steak fries and fried cheese to be exact. In the future I think they should ask customers who are waiting during the transition time of dinner and drinks if they are there for dinner. We would have gone elsewhere knowing what we know now, especially since we spent the same amount we would've on apps. read more

It was a normal Saturday, just like any other, I was thirsty and also hungry. It was 105 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I came across this restaurant, OHSO, upon entering the establishment I thought to myself, hey this is pretty cool. I sat down at the bar and before I even got settled I was greeted by an angel named savannah, I may have spelt her name wrong. OHSO in Scottsdale is awesome and this one could be too but man they really really REEEEAAAALLLLLYYYY need to sort out the dog situation there. The patio is dog friendly, I get that, but letting the dog sit at the table is not cool. I don't mind the dogs under the table, in the strollers etc.. but I don't want your dogs @$$, face or hair in mine or my food. Won't go back until they fix that because I prefer the patio seating. Plus I think there is some health codes being ignored when dogs are sitting/standing on the same seat as their owners. And really pet owner?? Have been to the Arcardia location where staff was super friendly and very attentive. Went to Mother's Day brunch to check out the Gilbert location. Staff looked absolutely miserable. Our server was good but overwhelmed and didn't check in much. The food runners and bartenders didn't smile and made you feel as if you shouldn't be asking for things. Hostess staff rolled eyes when we asked if we could move to a different open table. Hopefully things turn around. Love the OHSO beer and vodka read more

They have awesome service, happy hour is every WEEKDAY until 6 PM which is unheard of, and the best part is, they have a patio that is dog friendly which I personally believe that there is not enough of in Gilbert.
