We are regulars and love our bartenders but apparently if there is humidity in the air they won't turn the misters on. Here today and people are trying to fan themselves and do anything to cool down but no misters . I guess it's because the ground gets wet... I don't see any water and if you're that concerned put some runners down or assign an employee to walk around with a mop but don't punish your customers!! Also, if you don't want to use the misters then management needs to walk around and let the customers know so we can choose if we would rather sit inside. read more

Came here to watch March madness and it didn't disappoint. The large outdoor "park" is awesome for hanging out with friends and the big screen made watching the game fun. It's such great place to watch sports as there's a lively atmosphere. As for the food it was good but nothing spectacular but we also had to order the to-go items as we were sitting in the outdoor area. Also we got more entree style food opposed to classic bar food so I think that was our own fault. The service was pretty good. We ordered and paid on our phones so all they had to do was bring it out but when I sent my food back for being prepared incorrectly they were kind and understanding and it came out correct in a timely manner. read more

Came in on a Sunday evening...cute place to meet up with friends! My friend and I split the steak fries & the kale and pear salad. It being my first visit, my friend and I loved the steak & fries. The salad wasn't my favorite and I would def pass to try something else. Their soda machine was not working and there was a bee terrorizing the couple of tables by us but that can happen in AZ during spring/summer. Love Love this place, Super Dog friendly and they have a little dog play area where you can sit and have a beer while you watch your pups play for a bit off leash. staff is alway nice and love the dogs, they bring us water bowls with our pups name on them. First off I'll say that when I visited OHSO yesterday I wasn't in the greatest of moods. It had been a long hard Monday and all I wanted was to relax with a friend, have a couple beers, and then head home. So when I had two customers cut in front of me while I was patiently waiting to get the bartenders attention, it was just icing on the cake for how my day was going. Hannah (hopefully spelling correctly?) ended up being my saving grace. She greeted us with a smile, saw that I was flustered and not having a good day and made it a point to turn everything around for me, especially after I knocked over my first drink 1 second after she brought it to me. Hannah was exactly the kind of bartender I needed last night. If I owned my own bar or restaurant I would be trying to steal her away because she is exactly the kind of staff I would want running my bar. First, my review is going to be reflective of a lower review than 3 stars. Went to OHSO with a group of 8 people and we met 3 of them who were in from out of town on 7/18/24. They were already seated on the patio and had some drinks and food. When we arrived, we waited 10-15 minutes before our server even showed up so we went to the bar under the big "order here" sign. Asked to order a pitcher and also wanted a sample for a spouse to try. Bartender was really unfriendly. We will call her "Dora." First thing she asked is if we were sitting away from the bar, and if so, we would have to pay at the bar. No problem, we were a bit confused of how things worked. The sample of the Bright was less than what you would expect. A dehydrated hiker on camelback mountain can pee out more than the taster we received. Paid Dora for the pitcher and left her $3 for a tip. It was very clear our table waitress was not trained very well. Showed up after we brought our drinks from the bar and just looked lost. Ordered waters for the table and she brought 2 glasses. Finally ordered food and more drinks. She never came by to check on us and many of our drinks were empty or close to being empty. Food came and Steven brought it out. He is actually a superstar and the reason there are 3 stars on this review. Cleared our table and brought our food. We asked him to send the manager. Manager comes by and we discuss the bartender and how we were treated and how we have empty drinks at the table. She seems ok with the feedback and thanks us. The manager is then seen talking to the server and pointing at our table. It was bizarre to say the least. I waved at them because it was so ridiculous. Anyways, she manager comes back and says she took care of our pitcher and Bright. This hurts the server in the long run since her total bill is $22 less. Bartender was tipped on the bad attitude and the server got less. The manager is at the bar working with Dora and I go speak to her. I told her, to be clear, our issue was with the attitude of the bartender and that the server hasn't been trained correctly. She says ok. Perhaps the manager and the bartender are related. I never saw the same discussion between the manager and the bartender in question. I do enjoy OHSO and will be back, but these places have to get customer service a little higher in priority. Steven should be promoted. Bartender needs an attitude adjustment and the server in question needs to be trained better. She looked lost carrying pints to tables and could be a lot better for the customers. read more

I really enjoy sitting on their patio, inside of the restaurant is cool, but can be a little noisy. The menu has a nice selection of items that should appeal to just about anyone. Prices are reasonable and you get a good portion. Stopped here for a quick dinner on a Thursday night. The restaurant was fairly busy but we were seated immediately. We decided to sit inside and we're right next to the kitchen. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly. They did a great job expanding the patio. One of my only complaints about the restaurant is that the menu really hasn't changed much since this location opened a few years ago. The food is very good and we did receive our meals quickly. I just feel like it's time for to add a few new items to the menu. read more

But he took great care of us before his departure...getting heaters going, adjusting their temp & putting in a full propane tank. Thanks! In town to enjoy spring training and heard about OHSO. Found out there are six of them so we are determined to get to all of them. So far we have made it to five, Gilbert being our favorite. Our bartender Sammie was absolutely amazing! So kind, so sweet, so helpful, she made our time there absolutely perfect! Chilaquiles warning: chips are very cold! I went today for my niece's birthday brunch for a party of 8 and luckily we got seated immediately. Drinks were good, server was nice overall. When our food arrived, my chips on the chilaquiles were very cold. It's almost as if they had been in the fridge. The only food that was warm was the egg and the pork meat. We let our server know and when they brought out the food, and he happily offered to have them make it again. The 2nd time around the chips were not as cold but still cold. I think the only thing that is warm and made fresh on this dish is the egg and meat. The only chips and sauce that were warm were because they were sitting directly under the eggs and meat. The manager comped the dish off our bill but I was pretty disappointed. Nobody wants icy cold tortilla chips in their chilaquiles. I would go back to OHSO but will never order this again. read more

OHSO GOOD!! I can not believe I have not written this review sooner. When you think of downtown Gilbert you likely don't think of OHSO right? But what if I told you it's only one of a couple places now that stays open till late. It's not just whiskey row anymore. But not only that their food is a absolutely delicious. The brunch is amazing. There are lots of good choices so you almost can't go wrong either way. You have got to try the Fruity Pebbles French toast. Not only does it look like a work of art but it is pretty damn delicious. It's happiness in your mouth. The chicken and waffles is also very good. The avocado toast is tasty and savory. The OHSO Classic is super classic but super tasteful. The croissant sandwich was also really good as the eggs really make the flavors pop. As you can see you won't be disappointed no matter what you choose. The interior / exterior and the ambiance is almost alone worth coming. They have an indoor and an outdoor bar. The outdoors is dog friendly as well. So bring your pooch with you. They have table tennis as a form of entertainment and loads of TVs for everyone's viewing pleasure. I want SO badly to love this place. The outside looks epic, the food is good, the drinks are great...but s***. Literally. The outside smells like a sewer. This is the second time that I've been sat with my family outside and it smells like farts and pee all mixed together. I don't know if it's the dogs or just the location we've sat both times being close to a leaky sewer line. It is AWFUL. Like, death smell. Kills the entire mood. I've sat in the same spot both times, which is to the left when you leave the indoor part of the restaurant. The "couch seats" I think they called them. This is a nice dog-friendly restaurant. My wife and I were visiting the area on a trip with our dogs, so we tried this place out. They have a door park area in front where people bring their dogs, and it's a good place to get your dog fix in while waiting for a table. I even saw people without dogs just hanging out there to get their dog fix in. There's a dog friendly patio seating area, and we enjoyed the food and I tried some of their OHSO beers. We had their pretzels with three dipping sauces and the streak & fries. There were also TV's all around to check out games. On the other side, we saw a game viewing area with a big screen as well as pool tables, airhockey tables, and a few arcade games. This spot is VERY upbeat and high energy....which is great. The service was pretty good and things move along nicely...did have to search for our server a couple times. Food was decent...nothing to write home about but decent food. Place is kid friendly and the place is EXTREMELY animal friendly. It was so many dogs everywhere. Big dogs , little dogs! Lol Im not a big dog person so I was fully out of place...I would've been ok but ppl were letting dogs come close up on our tables and that was not appropriate to me if I'm not reaching out or trying to communicate with the dogs. So I had to let a few dog owners know no I'm not interested and please move your dog back. Needless to say I will probably not be visiting again but if your a dog lover this is a great place with lots of outside seating and big screen outside to watch the games. read more

First time to this location and met some friends here at 630pm on a Friday night (only had to wait 20mins for a table). This place is HUGE!! Love the park, the dog run, and the massive patio space. We got seated in a booth on the patio and loved seeing all the pups around. There is an AC vent running along the tables blowing air the whole time. I could have done without that tonight but I'm sure it's awesome when it's hotter out. Hubby ordered the TLC and tried a few of the beers. The honey hef was delicious and the amber Mexican lager was a little more hoppy than he expected. The chicken was ok and the fries were a huge portion for the 4 tenders. The fries were amazing, crisp and well seasoned. I got the Kale and pear salad and a side of sweet potato fries. The citrus vinaigrette was light and fresh and the salad was packed with the greens. The sweet potatoes were yummy, crisp outside with soft center and the seasoning was perfect. The side was a big portion and perfect for sharing. Had a fantastic visit to this brewery today. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Mike the manager. He was very friendly and very accommodating. We were a large party , he sat at us within five minutes. The service from our waiter Andreas was phenomenal and the food came out in minutes. We had a a great time and will be back. Mike was even willing to let us store our mountain bikes inside the brewery,so we didn't have to worry about them disappearing from the car while we were in the restaurant. Such a great time at OHSO with my dogs. While I waited enjoyed the dog park and it was really nice. Afterwards i sat on the patio area, dogs had treats and water. It was a nice and welcoming ambiance. The food was typical bar options and tasted ok. Took awhile to get the food because it was very busy. Service was great however. Ordered a couple of different things to share with family. We had the steak and fries aperture with cheese sauce, pretzel and cheese, steak tacos and a kids meal grilled cheese. We were hungry so it was all enjoyable. I think the location, being dog friendly and ambiance is the best part of the experience. read more
