We recently tried Old School Pizzeria this past week and a half & since we have ordered twice. The sourdough crust is amazing! I added a picture with a regular large dinner plate for reference next to the xxl custom pizza. We love adding sausage and mushrooms to our pizza. We recently tried the bacon & it was good, but it does make the pizza a bit greasier so I think we will try a different topping instead next time. We live within a 6 min drive of this location so we will definitely be adding this to one out of go to dinner spots. I have also heard their salads are amazing so I plan on trying that on our next order. read more

Today we have the opportunity to try Old School Pizzeria and it was excellent. The inside is very clean, well designed and inviting. The young lady who took our order was polite and informative about the menu as we explained it was our first time in. We ordered a custom with extra pepperoni and black olive. The pizza came out, piping hot and fresh. This may be considered a "thin" slice but don't let that trick you into thinking it's not full of rich flavor. Prior to the pizza, we had their garlic knots which also was made from clearly fresh dough with hints of fresh rosemary throughout. My first experience was not very good and my rating reflected this. However I am really impressed that the owner/manager (Naomi) went out of her way to bring me and my family back for a second try.... As soon as I entered I was greeted with a very friendly cashier, the ambiance of the store is very cool and inviting, so definitely started off better than my first visit. I requested my order the XL Pepperoni ( the first time I ordered the veggie and a Pepperoni combo) to simplify and really evaluate (photos attached). Pizza was cooked just right, just enough Pepperoni, I do like the thin crust, easy to fold, not a doughy texture. The one negative is the flavor of the tomato/pizza sauce is a bit sour/bitter. Not that it's bad but not what I'm used to (not comparing to big chain pizza joints either). Overall the attentiveness of management, the positive vibes from decor, outgoing cashier left me feeling much better about Old School. Omg the crust of this pizza is the best! They use fermented sourdough, it is light, crunchy and very delicious. First visit, we just got a small cheese pizza, no toppings, it was perfect! The customers were a little out of control and there was an employee who was wearing blue gloves preparing salads but kept constantly scratching her elbow, playing in her curly hair, grabbing her phone touching her glasses and not one time did she change her gloves. Cross contamination whoa! On a positive note, pizza was nice and light. Lemonade was great, also soda machine should be in the back. The customers having full access to it during COVID is a no no!
