First, let me say we love Old town Pizza. Their pizza is awesome and we love the new location and the vibe. What we don't love is a server named Jarrod. We have had him a few times as a bartender/server and he is awful. He is either totally inattentive or he is barraging you with ideas of what you should order in addition to what you have already ordered. If you ask for a taster of one of the beers, he will give you approx 1 teaspoon. We thought he must be part of the family business since he was constantly upselling. Apparently he is not. We will continue to go since we do like the establishment, but will not sit in the area that he is serving anymore. read more

I love the new location! I'm a local Auburn resident and am happy they expanded to include a beautiful upstairs seating area and bar. We have such a beautiful city and it's wonderful to sit outdoors. I've been there twice since they moved location, the first time we sat at the bar, our bartender Bobby was patient (I can be a bit indecisive) and knowledgeable of the wine list. Both times we were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The second time we sat outside again and our server Hailey was so sweet and very attentive to my family's needs. We are incredibly picky about pizza, with the crust being equally important as the quality of the toppings, etc. I have never had a bad piece of pizza from old town, beat it in Auburn or Roseville. I've had different variations from fully loaded to just cheese, all was excellent. if you are picky about pizza like we are, you prefer a slightly thinner crust and quality ingredients, I highly recommend giving them a try. They do tend to be a little bit on the expensive side, and the slices are sliced a bit smaller I'd say, so when in doubt, definitely opt to get that extra Pizza just in case read more

There was kiosks to order food and a bar to get drinks. We ordered the pizza, wings and some bottles water for $1.00. I would have preferred an ice water due to the heat, but that was not available at the kiosk. When we went to the bar to get beer we were informed we could have ordered from there; however, there was nothing indicating that nor were we welcomed or acknowledged by the bar tender until we came up to order drinks. The bar tender was friendly while we ordered out beer. The only issue was the beer was not particularly cold and then served in plastic cup that did nothing to keep our drinks cold. The pizza is good but there are plenty of places out there that also offer good pizza. They, however don't seem to care about parking for the customers. The building is quite large. The dining room can accommodate 350 people. The parking lot has approximately 25 spaces and they always seem to be full. Some of the spots are reserved for pizza delivery vehicles, others for pizza pick-up and two others are marked EV only. Parking always seems to be a challenge. Good luck. read more

Spotted restaurant while driving back from a hike. Walked inside looks very nice but a little too cold, so we decided to sit up stairs on their rooftop where you get a view of cars driving by and a nice breeze. The employees are always so helpful, the volunteers are always so helpful! Thank goodness regarding Mister Corona Virus that CA no longer in color tiers! Used to be Widespread Purple, Substantial Red, Moderate Orange, and Minimal Yellow! However, I do note that the employees still wear mask, I do note the volunteers still wear masks! Many Local People say they come here. The saying is, "One wants to go where the Local People go! If lot of the Local People go, it has to be good!" They have salad, whole pizza pies of different flavors, even for $4.56 with tax, slice of pizza! There is the first level and there is an upstairs level! After reading the reviews, it was a no brainer to contact Jess to setup our wedding reception! She was very thorough and outlined her recommendations of what to order. The menu is laid out and their specialty pizzas are amazing! We ordered 5 XL pizzas, 4 salads and 4 large breadsticks for our party of 25 and it was more than enough! Multiple people told me it was "the best pizza" they have ever had! The breadsticks are the greatest that I've ever had, and everyone in our group agreed! People were taking whole plates of just the breadsticks! Lol. I would recommend this space for any occasion! There is a small deposit that they refund you, and a few different spend options for their 2 spaces that they have. The biggest shoutout I have to give is to our server, Jake! Jake was so friendly, attentive and kind! He made sure our whole party was good and well taken care of! The space is beautiful! The food was delicious! The customer service was phenomenal! Interesting response from the business. 1) How exactly do you communicate with the staff when your order was for take out and not found to be satisfactory until after arriving home? 2) I don't recall saying you'd save money by going somewhere else, just that maybe you'd get a better product for the price paid and 3rd) OTP has always been about quality and we've been enjoying what they have to offer since their location in Lincoln originally opened pre-Yelp; to say that criticism about things not being to the standard that they used to be should be welcomed by the business to get things back on track, not met with an arrogant response. Went to this restaurant tonight with a large group for pizza and cold beer. After patronizing this business for 35 years we were informed that they donot have domestic beer. The waitress we had informed us that "we like to promote the local brewery 's in the Auburn area. Like we were just going to say ok and drink something we dont like. I am an Auburn local and have been a loyal patron of OTP's for a very long time. That loyalty ended on November 8, 2023 when I found a foreign object hidden under the cheese on my pizza for a second time. The first time that this happened to me was shortly after OTP moved to the Salvation Army location where I discovered a decent sized portion of a Hidden Valley Ranch label under the cheese on one of my slices. Thank god the cheese slid off in one piece to reveal it. I'm still perplexed as to how that managed to make it on my pizza unnoticed and then had toppings put on. Absolutely abysmal attention to detail. I don't normally give restaurants a second chance when they mess up my food as bad as they did the first time, but it happened right after they moved to the new location and I could tell they were struggling to acclimate in the new setting so I eventually let it go. This time the foreign object was a long piece of string that I initially thought was just stringy cheese, but to my surprise and disgust was not. I immediately informed the floor manager and inquired as to where the string could have came from. He told me that it was from the brush used to put sauce on my pizza, which he and I both knew was a complete lie, and when I asked to see the brush to verify he refused to accommodate. All I wanted to know was where this string came from for peace of mind, but I wasn't getting anywhere. When I asked to escalate the situation for answers he came back with a card to simply email another manager who was not available. Finally after being adamant about getting to the bottom of the string, the supposed regional manager came out and was equally useless. OTP prefers to cover up for their staff member who lacks ethics and integrity instead of showing any accountability. Absolutely disgusted with the way they handled the situation, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Especially the supposed regional manager. No one should have to question or fear if someone is tampering with their food, and OTP needs to do better about holding people accountable. I hope that OTP takes this seriously and looks into it because they may face litigation if they don't. The pieces of string pictured are pieces of a longer portion. I tore the entire pizza apart with my bare hands to ensure that there wasn't anything else hiding. I'll finish this rant with the classic, I'd give zero stars if I could. read more
