I gotta say the pastas they offer here are pretty good and the all you can eat salad and soup is one of the best deals you can get on the menu! Wanted to try something other than the pasta so I went with the chicken Marsala. I had high hopes for this but unfortunately the gravy that came with the dish was really salty. The lady that was our server was great she was nice and I like how she immediately made things right. She offered to get me a new menu item or asked if I wanted a remake. I had plans to take my Kauai cousin to lunch at Jade Dynasty Seafood Restaurant at Ala Moana today, along with my kids cause she had never been. We got there and the wait was crazy. I took a ticket and was told it would be a 1/2 hour wait. Anyways, we were hungry so we made the big mistake of also putting our names on the Olive Garden waitlist and said whoever calls first that's where we'll go. Olive Garden opened up first so we went there. We were seated right at the front entrance and I noticed that table was still kind of dirty. I had crumbs on my arms that I had to wipe off. We were greeted by our server Rico but his name tag said Marcus? I was already like whatevs. I don't really like to call servers out by name but he was terrible. Anyways, we order and my son gets the wrong dish. Mistakes happen, no big deal. We just reminded him what his order was and he brought the correct one out. What I didn't like was that he didn't offer more breadsticks or refills on our obviously EMPTY soft drinks, not even once! We had to flag him down to ask. I take into consideration how busy servers can get, but he was also waiting on the family directly behind us & he was so attentive to them/ Always asking "You guys need a refill? You guys need more breadsticks?" I'm not sure if it was because we are locals but it felt kinda discriminating to our family. I honestly really never go to Olive Garden because the food isn't that great except for the breadsticks. I will definitely never go back to this location. All they really have is butter, unauthentic Alfredo, and marinara sauce. Tell me why I expected to see pesto? I have no clue. Everything is always way too buttery, like a swimming pool worth of butter. Definitely sent me straight to the restroom (which was really nice actually ) I can't expect real Italian food at an Olive Garden, so I won't rate it too horribly. Noise level outside was loud due to Mai Tais but that was to be expected and it didn't bother us. Enjoyed our meal and dessert. Olive Garden is my comfort food, so when a friend asked if I wanted to join on her family's dinner plans, I said heck yes. I ordered my usual endless soup and salad and started with the Tuscana. My next soup was the gnocchi. Too bad that was all I was able to have. I finished the Tuscana bowl and then waited a good 20 minutes to get the second soup bowl. The service at this Olive Garden was absolutely amazing. Bonnie was our server, and she was incredibly attentive, kind, and on top of everything throughout our visit. Even the manager on shift stopped by to check in, which was a really nice touch and made us feel valued as guests. The food, however, was just okay. My crispy chicken was unfortunately plated underneath the sauce, which made it very soggy. That said, Bonnie immediately offered to bring me a side of crispy chicken without hesitation, and it honestly made a huge difference and saved the dish for me. That level of service really stood out. Overall, the food was mediocre at best this time around, and I also noticed that the kids' portion was noticeably smaller than usual, which was a bit disappointing. Service was pretty good overall. They checked in on us and made sure our drinks were refilled. My boyfriend did a create your own pasta because they had a limited time special of spicy meat sauce which he enjoyed and it definitely had some heat to it. The staff was very accommodating when we asked to sit near the window to enjoy the view--such a nice touch that made the evening feel special. With the already built-in gratuity, there didn't seem to be an incentive for the servers to go above and beyond. I also understand this may be more of a management issue than a reflection on the servers themselves, as they were assigned too many tables to handle effectively. I can't believe this is my first time here since it's been open. I've enjoyed Olive Garden in Vegas over the years but the last time was over 7 years ago. This location is in prime spot and the food is good. The portions are good sized, especially with all the breadsticks that they provide. I enjoyed the meatball parmagiana appetizer as my entrée, with enough to share with my daughter and granddaughter. Five moist and meaty, large meatballs with sauce and cheese left me stuffed. We also had the Ziti and cheese pasta, and unlimited soup lunch. Everything was delicious and our server, Emagin provided excellent service. (Sorry for the mess my granddaughter left) Prices are fairly reasonable, considering the portions they serve, and they're currently offering a "Kids eat free" special with a few child's meal for every adult dinner entrée. Been here half a dozen times and I can confidently say that it's gotten better. The first time we dined here, it wasn't good. The food was salty (like really salty), the breadsticks tasted stale, and the salad had way too much dressing. Despite that, we kept visiting in hopes it would get better and taste like it does in the mainland. Fast forward to our last visit, the breadsticks were hot and soft, the salad had just the right amount of dressing, and the food, although it was still slightly salty, tasted good and flavorful. We've consistently had good service here. Servers are personable and attentive and eager to recommend their favorites. It's been a couple of years since our last visit to Olive Garden, as we don't live in town anymore, so we decided to give them a visit. Was a little concerned at how long we may have to wait to get in, as it was a Saturday night about 7:30pm, and they don't take reservations. However, we were pleasantly surprised, and got seated right away! Upon arriving, hostess could've had a little more pep, but she was friendly enough. Our server was Kalau, and he was awesome. Super friendly, and lots of good energy right off the bat! He was very attentive, and checked on us often. Everything we ordered.. drinks, entrées and dessert, all brought out quickly! I decided to try the roasted chicken and gnocchi soup. I was a little hesitant, as 3 out of 5 reviews that I recently read, stated that when they got their soup, it was cold. Although mine wasn't cold, I can see what other diners meant. The soup was almost room temperature. It definitely would've been much better warmer, as it was very tasty! My husband ordered the shrimp scampi and I ordered the eggplant parmesan. Both were delicious! We then ordered the pumpkin crunch cheesecake, and although good, it was a disappointment that it was very cold and solid in the center as if it had been frozen and not fully defrosted. We go to the Ala Moana restaurant at least once a week and have been happy with the service until today... first our waiter said he had mistakenly given my order to another table so I waited while the two other people got their order and I waited.. luckily I had at least salad to eat... 45 minutes later still no food so I stopped the waiter... he had not refilled our drinks otherwise I could have inquired about the hold up... by the time he checked back everyone else had finished their lunches and was upset and didn't want to eat... I had to ask the waiter if I was going to be compensated , he didn't offer, I had to ask so I was not a happy camper with Olive Garden.. my husband is more forgiving than I am and he left a good tip... We celebrated my Aunty's retirement luncheon here today at 2pm. My brother made arrangements with the manager I believe his name is Davin Garma. He was very nice and accommodating and open to whatever my brother was asking for. The section they set up in the back was very spacious and perfect. Although we guesstimated 50 guests, we had about 40 and we just fit just right. Spacious room to ourselves and beautiful lighting with good AC . Our servers were Bianca and Seneca. They were awesome!! Food came out hot and ready and it was delicious!! I had the build your pasta, angel hair pasta, Alfredo sauce with chicken and mushrooms! I went on a Friday night at around 7 pm and it was busy but not too bad. For starters we got soup and salad. I got the chicken gnocchi and it was good, but it was really thin. When I went on the mainland it was a bit thicker which I prefer but it was still good. Salad was great too. For my entree I got the four cheese pasta. Was it worth $25? Not really, but it was good. The sauce was yummy and liked the creamy sauce it had on top. Also, our waiter was awesome and got stuff out super quickly and also was nice and patient. If I would return, I'd hope to get him again! I get pretty excited whenever we go to Olive Garden. Usually for the never ending soup or salad and the breadsticks. The main dishes are very filling as well, but I like to determine my order by cost and quantity. My go-to is the Tour of Italy and the portions are normally great. However this last time I visited, we dined an hour before closing and the portion/presentation looked a bit sad. All the other dishes were good and we always end up with leftovers to take home. I came for lunch around 2:30pm and was able to get a table right away. The host asked if we would be okay with being seated in the "shaded patio" instead of inside. Even though it was significantly hot this day, we opted for this option as we thought it would be cooler. I was wrong. Yes it is a shaded patio, but the sun still hits the back of you or depending where you sit, the sun still gets you. It was awful and pretty uncomfortable to sit there. Our server was okay. He was nice but overall service was slow. For starters, I ordered the chicken and gnocchi soup + zuppa toscana. I enjoyed the chicken and gnocchi. It was piping hot it when it came out and super creamy. First time trying the zuppa toscana and it was alright. I ordered the lunch special five cheese ziti and the chicken alfredo. The lunch portions are better than the regular sized portions. The five cheese ziti was good, but the chicken alfredo was quite bland and lacked seasoning. For drinks, I ordered the peach bellini and the watermelon margarita along with a dr. pepper and a coke. The drinks were overall refreshing and good. Towards the end we asked for refills, but they took forever and when they were finally brought out, we were ready to leave and check out. The food came out burnt and cold. Tras on the floor and we were seated in a section that was not assigned. We had to wait a half hour before anyone came to the table. The atmosphere was somewhat bothersome because it was nothing but a bunch of teeny bobbers talking story in the front, I have posted several reviews for this restaurant in each time I believe the honor is taking them out. I hope you get to read this before he takes out another bad review. The management at the Olive Garden at Alan needs to address.l the imperfections in your business. You have no customer service. Had a great experience at Olive Garden. I ordered the chicken tortellini Alfredo--rich, but really delicious. The Tour of Italy trio was also a hit, although the lasagna was just a tad dry. The Calabrian steak and shrimp had a nice kick--slightly spicy and really enjoyable. The fried mozzarella was good, but pretty standard. The Peroni beer was crisp and refreshing and paired well with everything. Jake, our server, was amazing--super attentive and provided top-notch service that really elevated the whole experience. The ambiance could use a little refresh--the tables are starting to look worn and could benefit from restaining, and the chairs felt a bit too springy. Got here little after they opened at 11am and had a good amount of people seated and dining already, little bit of a wait to be seated but nothing too crazy! Our server was great and very professional! No boto sale tho, (buy one take one) as today is a holiday! I went for the new stuffed chicken Marsala and wife had chicken Alfredo with broccoli. The kids really enjoy this place, and I love the all you can eat soup. My favorites are the creamy ones - with gnocchi and the spicy one with kale and potato. I visited last week for my daughter's birthday because I thought it was a good deal - free kids' meal Monday - Thursday, 2-5 pm, which saved us about $7.50 per kid (and hey, we brought 4 kids with us!). But was a little surprised at the increased prices on the entrees. Ah well, at least we got the free kids meal deal. The kids' trick is to get the mac and cheese so that they can choose two sides - and they usually get the spaghetti and either grapes or fries. Plus it comes with milk. This time I decided to try the alfredo gorgonzola pasta with steak for about $30. The steak was in bite sized pieces and were already precooked as medium, but it came out perfectly and was super tender. The pasta was really rich and tasty with the cheese and sun dried tomatoes, and drizzling of balsamic vinegar. I took about half of it home, and it was super oily when I reheated it - but still really tasty. And of course our meal came with free breadsticks but since we had a large group of 11 people we decided to try their unlimited breadstick bowls - but only filled up on the alfredo and the cheese marinara sauce. Both were really yummy, but the bowls were pretty shallow. Probably not worth getting, since we had so much other yummy food. They were also really nice and offered either a strawberry or chocolate cake. We chose chocolate and it was super rich and yummy. It was very special that other patrons joined along to sing Happy Birthday! The only disappointing thing was that I really wanted our large group to sit in the side room since we had little kids, but they said it's the owner's table?!
