Went to Olive Garden, on 8/14, for a late lunch/early dinner. Kind reception as we entered, multiple hosts as well as the manager. Asked for a booth, got one in a quiet corner. It wasn't very busy which was nice. Generally clean, our table did have some grime in the corner where the table attached to the wall though. Our waitress was Sophia, she was wonderful. Quick service, yet patient. The breadsticks were so hot! We got them quickly, barely a wait for any of the food we received. Soup (Zuppa Toscana) and salad of course, I asked for dressings on the side, since I like a little of each. We ordered off the kids menu for our 4yr old, and her food came first. (I love when that happens!) My teenage daughter got the chicken parm off the lunch menu, looked good with hefty portions. My husband also got the chicken parm, but the dinner version. I chose the chicken tortelloni alfredo, with the "crispy" chicken. I always choose that so it wasn't a difficult decision! All the food was delicious. I've had a good experience at this Olive Garden every time we've been here. It's a go to for family visits with little planning. Waiter came to my table about 7 times throughout the whole time I was there and every time I asked for water and they never gave me it..

We made an order for pickup so that we could have a picnic with our pup, which ended up being a very good thing because the staff here seemed quite rude. That being said, we really enjoyed our food. I loved my stuffed chicken marsala . It had great flavor and the black and white cake that I had for dessert was yummy as well . My husband said that his chicken parm was just okay, but we also ordered meatballs for our dog and she really seemed to enjoy them. I loved that the salad had actual olives in it (they're my favorite) and the breadsticks were good, but the one we didn't finish, some ducks at our picnic were happy to devour. I would not dine in at this location but the takeout was good. Unfortunately you still have to deal with the staff to pick up your food. read more

Just average for an Olive Garden, nothing special. We had the lunch special Soup and Salad. Soup was great hot and tasty and the salad seemed like yesterday's lettuce wilted and not cold. We actually showed up at another restaurant that said they were open on Christmas day, but, when we arrived, that other restaurant was not seating any more customers. Olive Garden rescued my family and I. I called them from the other restaurant, and OG told me to drive there ASAP, and they would seat us. Being the Asian driver that I am, I immediately got lost. Luckily, I still got there minutes before their last seating. We like their breadsticks and their Zuppa Toscana. Their pasta was okay. The spaghetti with meat sauce and sausage that I ordered made for a filling dinner. They did try to rush us out of there. But, I can't blame them for that. No complaints since they were able to feed us when the other restaurant wouldn't. read more

I'd like to start off with what's good about this particular Olive Garden. The staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. My first experience here was months ago.. it was perfect. The service was great, the staff were friendly, the food was great, my order was correct, and the drinks were good. My last experience here was very recent. It was just a little different and weird to say the least... we had a different server... just weird vibes. Really no other way to explain it right off the bat. Fast forward to a delicious appetizer then we go to order our food. The server had us wait just a moment because another table was asking to see the manager in regards to their check. We then receive our food. One of our plates was the incorrect dish. It was the recommended dish, not the one we asked for as if our server were just smiling and nodding rather than listening. No big deal, we don't complain as long as it still tastes good, and it did so we left it alone. I had chicken in my meal and the chicken seemed like it was steamed... it was soft and mushy in its consistency. Kind of gross, but I was starving so I ate it with no complaint. My girlfriend and I agreed all was weird up to this point, but we were hungry, ate it, and just asked for to-go boxes and the check. So, we get to paying on this kiosk and holy cow, for 2 non-alcoholic teas, 2 $22 meals, and an $11 appetizer, it was suggesting an $18 tip as 20%. Why was it doing this you might ask? Our server put the order in for us... except before he put our order in for us he placed an order for 2 beers and some sauce add on then canceled it off the tab to zero it out, but it did raise all of the tip suggestions at the end... makes you wonder why the other table had issues with the same server and their check as well, doesn't it? Seems like quite the scam artist they have working for them. Read all the details on your checks future customers! I work hard for my money just like other people... I don't need other working people trying to steal it from me. I still tipped him $12 because he is working and he served us, but to avoid the awkwardness of seeing this guy again, we will not be going back to this particular Olive Garden. read more

i ordered 4 things of chicken fettuccine Alfredo and I didn't even get enough Alfredo for 1 portion. I am sitting here trying to enjoy a meal form takeout and I am eating straight up noodles. the bill was over $80 and I am very very upset. the fact that I am so mad rn bc of this i never write reviews but they added fr less than 4oz of sauce. olive garden step your game up I will most likely stop eating from you guys for a while. read more

Our return to Olive Garden was much different from our previous visit, over a year ago. We were seated immediately and our waiter introduced himself after a few minutes. Bread sticks were warm when delivered to our table; but, were rubbery as if they had been warmed in a microwave. Chicken and gnocchi soup was very good with gnocchi from heaven. My wife found her Shrimp Scampi tasteless. I tried some of it and agreed with her. The sauce was thin, almost to the point of being watery, and lacking even a hint of garlic. My Shrimp Alfredo was delicious with perfectly prepared shrimp. I would order it again; but, highly unlikely to ever order Shrimp Scampi. Microwaved bread sticks are unacceptable. We will probably go back to Olive Garden; but, we will continue trying other restaurants in the greater Bend area. read more

Our volleyball team came in for a dinner after a long trip and our server Celeste was rude and disrespectful. Reaching across us and spilling on the table without apologizing, rolled her eyes with requests and didn't give the right amount of change because she didn't want to break dollars. Defiently was an eye opener and disappointing as we were respectful and trying to be polite. Every other waiter was polite and asked what we needed but she was not willing to do her job. If I could give no stars, I would! We walk in, ask to sit in bar but little miss control says no because all seating is part of rotation. Asked her to explain what is meant by that as it makes no sense, and she just repeated it! Then she says the wait is 15 minutes but there were multiple empty tables. We are taken back to a table but asked if we could sit in a booth. He looked at us with a straight face and said there are no booths available. We pointed at 5 different empty booths and he said again, there are no booths available! We sat for a bit at our table and they set some people at a booth! We felt like we were in elementary school! Olive Garden is my go-to place for Zuppa Toscana and chicken and gnocchi soup. I get super excited with their all you can eat soup and salad. This is my first time coming to this location since we moved to Bend. Our server was nice. She might be new because she pronounced gnocchi as GA-NOCHEE. I thought it was a new kind of soup. Also when I asked for a bowl of zuppa to go, she brought a to-go bowl and wanted me to give her whatever was in my bowl so she can put it in the to-go bowl. It was funny. Food wise, the Zuppa was good but they skimp on kale, the salad was old with barely any dressing. Shrimp scampi was ok but some of the asparagus pieces were tough, the chicken Parmesan was greasy and tasted like it has been sitting there for a while. I hate to say it but This Olive Garden is my least liked location so far. read more

We came on a whim. We were going to go grocery shopping but realized we were too hungry to do it! When we got there, there was a woman at the door. They are practicing social distancing and making sure only one group is inside waiting for a table at a time. They provide hand sanitizer and you have to wear a mask inside until you find your seat. Our server was CJ. He was so nice and I loved talking with him! I even knew a few times that we were keeping him too long but his table side manners would never give it away! He was great to talk to and he was incredibly helpful. 5 stars to CJ!! Welcome to Central Oregon, friend! My husband had a seafood dish, I had an angel hair pasta and my son had a cheese pizza. Everything was delicious but - and this is the reason for losing some stars (would be 2 but CJ made it 3) - I hated the shrimp. It popped in my mouth in a weird way I could deal with - and I eat seafood a lot! I think corporate should think about switching to prawns. I wasn't at all a fan of those shrimp. I enjoy Olive Garden, for starters. I am admittedly not a food snob, I have no idea how to discern which restaurants are "corporate" in their manner of serving up food en masse versus restaurants where each plate is lovingly crafted by a skilled chef. All I know is the spaghetti and meatballs at Olive Garden delight my taste buds. So there's that. The Olive Garden in Bend has never disappointed me or my family. The restaurant itself is always clean, the food is always good, and the staff are always at least competent and friendly. It has at times been too chilly for me, but that's a personal preference and I can hardly call it a fault of a restaurant if the staff and majority of the patrons like it colder than I do. (And the hostess at the desk at the lunch hour on March 8 seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but we only had to tolerate her through the seating process.) I'm writing today because on Friday, March 8th, our experience brought me to tears of joy. Granted, it was grounded in the fact that we were at OG to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday, so joy was already on the menu. But what really pushed the experience to new heights was the service. Our server was "Erik A." and he is what I wish every server at every restaurant could be. His demeanor was gentlemanly, his volume was politely soft, his delivery was sincere and unscripted, he was attentive without going to the two extremes of neglectful or overbearing, and he masterfully dealt with my subtle cues aimed at surprising my Mom for her birthday with one of their desserts. He was Spot-On and had it been within my budget, I'd have tipped him enough to take a week off (again, we were all feeling the joy already so that would have been emotionally-motivated overkill but I would have done it for a server of his caliber). If you go to OG in Bend, ask for Erik. And if he's not on the clock, I'm certain you'll still get good service from the rest of the staff. read more

Date night with the little lady went well this weekend. Great to see restaurants reopening for dine-in meals. Between the tour of Italy and the build your own pasta bowl (spaghetti, mushroom sauce, and shrimp), we ate our fill and took home leftovers for at least one more meal each. Ice cream sundae and zeppoli for dessert finished out the evening. Bonus: staff seemed to be aware of basic service dog etiquette. That seems to be a rarity for some establishments. read more
