we ate at the Olive Garden in Colerain this evening for my father's birthday. We had a party of 12 between the orders being messed up and the fact that the bills were completely messed up. We ended up paying for my sister's meal, which we did just to be able to leave because after 40 minutes, they could not figure out the bills. They kept claiming it was because of the fact that we had three bills,had alcohol on them. I have been to multiple restaurants with large parties and I've never had an experience like this. There was never found a manager in the restaurant to come speak to us, and in my opinion, nothing was done rectify the situation. Do better Olive Garden, do better. read more

We haven't eaten at Olive Garden in a couple years but stopped for lunch at the Beechmont location in Cincinnati and it was a good choice. We were seated immediately, and the server (Jacob) took our drink order. The salad was chilled and crisp and the breadsticks hot. I ordered the lunch size chicken parm and my wife ordered the lunch spaghetti and meatballs. The lunch size is smaller than the dinner size but it filled me up. The dishes came out hot and we actually had to wait a minute for things to cool a bit. We shared with each other, and I thought both dishes tasted good. Jacob repeatedly came back and kept our drinks filled and asked if we needed anything. Had dinner at the bar while traveling for work and had an amazing meal. Taylor was easily one of the best servers I've ever been around. She was super friendly and took amazing care of me every single step of the way. The torteloni with chicken was perfect, and both the chicken with gnocchi soup and the pasta e fagioli soup were the ideal way to warm up on a cold and rainy winter day. I'm in the area pretty frequently, and I'm certain I will spend many more evenings sitting at the bar having dinner. My wife and I were on a date night and our service was absolutely amazing. Sitting right next to us, was an impossibly miserable table that made it their duty to complain and be very rude to the server, Cameron, who could not have been any more professional and nice to them. The pair of Karens ultimately requested a manager, enter Russ, where they continued to be rude. Russ did everything in his power to professionally deescalate the situation but they were on a mission to be miserable. Unfortunately I haven't had the best experience with even the takeout customer service here. Its never ready when promised and the people waiting on you clearly hate their jobs, and possibly life. The food is decent, and usually a good value, which makes it a nice "stay in comfort food night" option. I LOVE the lasagna fritta appetizer, which comes with a really good ricotta cream dipping sauce. The chicken gnocchi soup is my favorite and of course the salad is good. Love the breadsticks. For dinner I like the custom pasta choice of cavatappi, five cheese marinara, and chicken fritta on top. The braised beef tortelloni is ok. We came in on Sunday at 6, and waited for an hour at the bar before we were seated even though there were countless empty tables and booths. The bartenders here were extremely kind and friendly and conversed with us. My friend ordered a coke at the bar and they forgot, then ordered a coke again at the table and they forgot again so he never got it. Behind the bar, there was an espresso machine. So at the table, someone I was with ordered a cappuccino. Half an hour later, it still didn't come so she reminded the waitress, who had forgotten. She came back and said the cappuccino would take an hour and a half to make so we just told her never mind, but this didn't make sense with their coffee machines. Our salad came and they forgot the dressing, so we had to ask for dressing and it came in a cup. A baby scream cried the whole entire dinner. However, the food here is very delicious! We stopped in tonight. Akita was our server. She was beyond amazing. She made sure our drinks were always full as well as our salad bowl. She brought fresh breadsticks with the meal and checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal! Some of the best service I've had in months. This is what I just sent to Corporate. This place is definitely hit or miss with the food and service! I took out our server's name because I am sensitive to online reviews. You ask why do we keep going back (limited choices in Anderson). We go to the Olive Garden once or twice a month. Tonight's dinner was the worst experience ever at your restaurant. My son got to the restaurant before us and was seated. When my wife and I arrived we weren't greeted and the 2 hostesses didn't say anything or approach us as we walked around the restaurant. We first went to the left then went back to the lobby and went to the right and eventually found my son. Our server xxxxxx was horrible! Let me list the issues. 1. She didn't take the wine glasses away as is normally done. 2. She took the order and said she would delay the meal so we could have our soup and salad. 3. My wife's soup was watery. She never came back to see how things were. 4. We had to grab her as she ran buy (rarely saw her) to get another soup and salad. 5. The 2nd soup and salad came with our main dishes. 6. She never cleared the soup or salad bowl and plates so we had to stack everything so we had room to eat. 7. She never came back to see how the meal was. 8. She only refilled drinks once and then it was only one of two ice teas. 9. My son was choking and we had no drinks. Ultimately another server came to give him water. 10. When she finally showed up we asked for the check and she asked if we wanted drinks to go. She made some stupid comment about meaning to bring refills but other servers were taking her water and tea pitchers 11. When she finally brought the check she repeated the same thing about other servers taking her pitchers. 12. She still didn't ask about our meal. Concerning the food....The bread was hard as a rock. Couldn't get bread replaced because the waitress was "not there". My wife ordered the Mezzaluna with Shrimp. The meal didn't look like the picture and definitely wasn't jumbo shrimp. The 6 shrimp were pretty small. My son ordered the Braised Beef Tortelloni and had multiple types of pasta in his dish. I also asked for extra cheese and sauce on my chicken parm. Didn't get it. And not in a 'haha, you're on crack' joking way, like literally they must be smoking crack before and during their shifts. Our waitress seemed to be afraid and spoke so fast and quietly I could only manage to understand one word out of every sentence she said. Bread sticks were old and hard, they were out of two of the soups on the unlimited soup and salad menu, nobody that works here smiles....ever. Drink refills don't exist. It's just bad.
