My friends and I just wanted to get together for dinner and one of us was craving pasta. We saw this place was nearby so decided to check it out. Looks like it's family owned and has a cozy welcoming interior atmosphere. We were welcomed in by the elder gentleman. As soon as we were seated, we got waters and menus. I ordered the chicken souvlaki and a glass of the Greek wine. We had the choice of soup or salad with our meal. I chose the salad with a creamy feta dressing. I was in love with the dressing! We got some very yummy bread as well. My chicken was so flavorful! Highly recommended. I loved my noodles too and all it's feta crumbles! I did taste my friends chicken lemon soup and it hits the spot honestly! The baked lasagna came out looking delicious and smelled great! Sadly did not get to sample that but it might be my next dish!! read more

Too many good options to choose from!! I've basically tried to compare all the pizza spots in this little pocket of town and I can't say who is my favorite - they are all so fabulous!! Fridays have turned into pizza nights so yesterday I ordered the florentine pizza. It arrived fresh and piping hot exactly when it said it would. Gourmet pizza in 40-50 minutes and the click of a button is so dangerous! The COVID-19 is far more severe than the freshman 15 ever was!! Looking forward to ordering again in the future. read more

It seems like the old owners are no longer in charge based on the differences inside. I ordered the Olympic Favorite and it was vastly different than it was before they closed down for what seemed like almost a year. The new pizza was not terrible, but nothing like the old. I found the new pizza very generic, a poor attempt to reproduce the menu previously. I am going to leave it at that. Buyer beware, I must admit I felt deceived by this "reopening" as the pizzas I got were nothing like before. read more

It was 2am and we wanted pizza. We looked up the best late night pizza spots and this was one of the top places on the list. Looked up yelp and google reviews and so many reviews recommending this place. And they were open until 3am! We ended up driving 45 minutes to get pizza from here. It was so worth it! The crust was very tasty. Perfectly cooked. The toppings were fresh, the cheese was sooo good and the sauce was some of the best pizza sauce I've ever tasted! The service was on point as well. I'd highly recommend the pizza here! Thank you for being up so late! read more

We hadn't planned to come here, but the Olympia Pizza (in Wallingford) stated that they are open on Sundays, but apparently they are not. Anyway, this is a cute little restaurant and it was mostly empty (maybe because there was a sign on the door that said Closed. I don't think the owners noticed). There is a husband and wife team working here and they were super friendly. There is parking in the alley in the back but I ended up parking at the end of the adjacent street, which wasn't too bad, but next time I'll remember the alley. The food was great and the portions were pretty good. I had the manicotti (which was very good) and my friend had the lasagna. I'm going to try the lasagna next time because it looked amazing. This place is more Greek than Italian but it was warm and cozy and really easy to find. I'm glad we tried this place. I'm going to come here again soon! I love finding new places! read more

Don't get the pasta primavera. It had no sauce just penne pasta and very obviously frozen vegetables covered in cheese. The frozen veggies made it watery. Nothing someone should pay 16 dollars for. It doesn't taste good and that's the problem. They should have at least put Alfredo on it. read more

Came here on a rainy day, the restaurant was empty so we were in doubt that the food was good. But I was so wrong!! Can't believe this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in the States. Sounds weird but you guys should try them all out. Greeted and served by a lovely couple, brought me so much memories back in the day my grandma and grandpa used to have a kitchen like theirs. To anyone regarding this, I'm sorry but I honestly don't get how this place has any more than 3 stars. Service was ok but food was terrible. I don't get how simple tomato sauce pasta can be so bad. The pizza was somehow edible but other than that, I was simply shocked by the high rating which was the whole reason we went there. read more

I haven't had a bad thing on their menu! However, our "go-to's" are: pizza (of course), lemon chicken w pasta, village salad, greek salad w chicken, spaghetti w meat sauce or meatballs. The pizza is stuffed with lots of cheese, and they don't skimp on toppings, not too doughy, not too thin. It puts all other pizzas to shame. The ingredients and veggies are always fresh. House made Greek salad dressing is the bomb. Complimentary garlic bread is tasty and addicting. I always have a glass of Greek wine with dinner and finish it off with spumoni and/or homemade baklava. I'm happy to support this small family operation that has been in the neighborhood for decades. read more

Took a half and half pizza and the kids size spaghetti and meatballs. The food was delicious and the cheese was very generous! The elderly couple who run this place are very kind and pleasant folks to speak with. Loved the experience and the food even though it was just a takeout! read more

You'd be hard pressed to find a better Greek salad and pizza combo in the city! It's Greek style pizza, so heavy on the cheese and toppings. This is not your wimpy NY style. Just to control expectations on other variables, the decor is dated (very modest) and the service can be slow, but don't let that deter you from phenomenal food! Olympic is completely family run and you can tell they have a passion for good quality, home-cooked food. This restaurant is a true gem of the Ravenna/Roosevelt neighborhood! read more

Must try! This place is seemingly a hole in the wall and doesn't seem busy, but i was shocked once i ate there. The environment is a bit bland and feels like an old diner, but the family who runs this place are really kind and wow can they cook. Every dish i have had has been delicious. Ordered a sausage, onions, and pepperoni large pie. Took about half an hour. The pizza is very filling with a generous amount of toppings and cheese. Red sauce is not too sweet, although I wish there were just a little more. Crust is also airy and holds up well despite the heavy toppings. The couple who runs this spot are so sweet! Will definitely be back to try the other pies and pastas. read more

Don't confuse this with the "Olympia Pizza" group. This is Olympi'C' Pizza, and is owned by a single Greek family. It has been helpful to know some of the family, because the hook-ups are of such proportions, it would be total food pornography for me to tell you all my dirty little Greek secrets. The garlic bread is refilled with Zeus-like lightning-throwing frequency, which is both wonderful and terrible at the same time. It's not some crazy artisan bread, it's just garlicky goodness when you need it most. Couple it with the feta, tomato, cucumber app for a real taste sensation. Their ovgolemeno is perfectly-homey and comforting. Lemon soup, creamed by slowly adding egg, with rice and chicken. A great substitute for pho when you're feeling icks. So the famous thing here is the pork steak (I'll post a pic later.) It's ridiculously huge, and is simply seasoned with garlic salt and pepper (so they say) and it makes all my food companions squeal when they take a bite. (Me no eat pork, solly.) The soup and the Greek potatoes are part of the price, so get on this deal if you're into the piggly wiggly. I always order their veggie lasagna, which never really cools down. I've actually eaten it two hours after dinner and it was finally edible temp. I'll try something else tonight a little more calorie-friendly, as I've been nomming Christmas cookies as if they were Twinkies, and I'll never get another one FOREVER. Fun fact: They serve Big Red, the soda here. I generally don't care for anything soda-wise except ginger ale, but Big Red is weirdly tasty to me. The first time I had it was in a bingo hall in west Texas. The cigarette smoke hovered like a nuclear blast cloud and I needed something to quench my thirst. I ended up ordering 3 through the night (and won a bingo game! Thanks, Big Red!) Please come here and see Andreas and his charming family. They are the bees knees. He always comes out of the kitchen to ask how your food is, so really, there isn't really any reason to not chat him up ^_^ Remember Olympic, not Olympia. Word. read more

So... home-cooked type food for under $8 a dish? Okay by me! The service was a'ight. Paper menu's? Mmmk! The salads were the usual lettuce with dressing and a couple slices of tomato and cucumber on the side. The garlic bread was alright. When our food came... it was still SIZZLING! Nice! The manicotti-type dish (only difference was they also added ground meat) was good, but a way heavier meal than I would have preferred. Not their fault, though. They had some wine (incl. Greek) and mysterious "Italian beer" as well as "Greek beer" (along with the usual assortment). It's hot out so we just stuck to water, but... I'm curious about that Greek wine. Great ambiance and pizza was awesome. Sat behind a little Greek man with a dog named Lucky. The dog was a working one, but he was so cute to watch sit on the chair next to him and eat his cooked food on his own plate! Not busy that day because Bernie Sanders was in town and ppl were off to see him. Felt very comfortable and listened to the banter of a table full of foriegn men discussing politics. Great food, great value, and more than anything, the owners are great people. The pizza is awesome, and being that the owners are from Crete, some of the best Greek food around you're going to find. Wow. I had to personally thank the chef on this one, a tiny old man with a sparkle in his eye, and his wife, presumably, right next to him making pasta. Who would have thought this tiny hole in the wall would have such good food. I am a traditionalist and stick to the classics - fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, chicken parmigiano, S&M... I choose the FetAlf sans chicken. Now, I used to work at a very high end Italian restaurante in Los Angeles, celebrity chef and all, and it was the second best I've ever had outside of an Italian restaurant in Northern Japan, go figure, but Olympia Pizza comes in at a solid 3rd on my list of world favorites. Driven past this place for years(parking on Roosevelt is.....), on trips to whole foods and east west book store! Yesterday evening had some free time(10min), so went in to check the place out, -"get a pamphlet menu". Was greeted warmly nice owners,quality vibes, looking forward to trying the food and drink. The food is what you expect from a little mom and pop Greek/Italian place. Andreas is the nicest owner , a man came in midway through my meal. He told Andreas that he ate here 30 years ago and he made him a sandwich he's been thinking about for ever. Andreas made him the dang sandwich without a problem and its not even on the menu! This man rocks and so does his restaurant . Andreas stops in my work here and there and always invites me to stop in for food, today I finally did and he comped my meal! I have been eating lunch here occasionally, for many years. It's fantastic: delicious, affordable food and very fine service. I usually get the super grinder with salad or avgolemado soup (very tasty). I've brought friends here to lunch and dinner and everyone has just raved about it. Solid 5 star pizza place. Pretty much the most perfect looking and tasting pizza I have had in a very long time. The crust is a thin/deep dish style, baked to a perfect, bubbly, golden brown. The cheese and toppings are piled on and almost perfectly distributed. Quality ingredients, quality service, and superb presentation, quality, and quantity on the food. This place is legit! This isn't my typical favourite place, but the food and service totally made me a fan. We got lentil soup, veggie lasagna and Greek spaghetti. All were delicious, simple and extremely filling. I especially loved the Greek spaghetti for its not-overwhelming flavors. The server who I think was also the manager was friendly and helpful in her suggestions. Definitely a fan! So came here just looking for spaghetti, came to find soo much more then that. The Pepperoni pizza was sooo bomb! The portions sizes are HUGE!! The spaghetti meatballs was good a little dry but i asked for a marinara side and it was bomb after that. The BBQ ribs were sooo tender and just fall right off the bone they were delicious! A great family owned neighborhood pizza and Greek place! I Moved into the neighborhood a few months ago and this has become my go to pizza place! Lots of cheese, not too much sauce, and plentiful amount of toppings on the pie. Wife and I also walked down to have dinner there, and we enjoyed our meal. Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy during our visit, our server was extremely quiet and difficult to hear, which made communication a bit challenging. One nice touch was the complimentary bread service, which came with a generous amount of butter. We started with the artichokes from the seasonal menu. I was expecting them to be served warm or roasted, but they arrived cold, which was admittedly a misunderstanding on my part. The accompanying sauce was excellent though and definitely saved the dish for me. We also ordered the tajarin al ragù, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. Unfortunately, this was where my expectations and experience diverged. The pasta felt under-seasoned to me, and the noodles seemed overcooked. Rather than the silky texture I was hoping for, I found myself eating what felt like clumps of dough. It was a dish I really wanted to love given its reputation, but it just didn't click for me. We weren't looking for a heavy dinner, so we only ordered a couple of items. It's entirely possible we came on an off night or simply didn't choose the restaurant's strongest dishes. At First Glance: we've walked by the door to the restaurant multiple times without even knowing. From the inside and down a wooden staircase, is a rustic dining room and a lively atmosphere. Service: we had arrived just past 1PM, and while it seemed busy, we were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and routinely checked on our table for anything we may need. Libations: what's a meal without a cocktail or two? - Salute: no, that's the name of this citrusy drink in a coupe champagne glass. Refreshing and sweet. - Watermelon Margarita: classic and well shaken. I licked everything down to the salt rim. Shared at the table: - Mama's Meatballs: these aren't your basic beef meat balls - they're better. Tender and seasoned perfectly. - Bruschetta: heirloom tomato's, fresh mozzarella, balsamic, olive oil and basil is the quintessential Italian one bite. - Lasagna: I'm used to the heavy and multi layered baked Italian pasta dish, and this was absolutely not that. Instead, a minimally layered pasta dish where the cheese and tomato sauce are the stars. Light and delicious. - Tiramisu: the best espresso, lady fingers, and creamed dessert I've ever had at any Italian restaurant. This is a must try for dessert. We came hungrily and left happily.

What to say about the Olympic? Its home. I grew up eating there, working there and learning everything I know about catering to different types of people and all about cooking! I have read over all the comments below and appreciate everyone's opinions-these are things that I think we can use to better the restaurant on a whole. The truth of the matter is that the family that owns the Olympic has worked really hard moving from one country to another where they barely spoke the language and yet they managed to run a restaurant, amongst other businesses that they have owned. The truth of the matter is that it is hard running a restaurant with your family working for you-conflict of interest from all parties involved but there is one thing that they pride themselves on at this restaurant and that is the freshest and best types of quality of food that there is on the market. I can tell you for a fact there is no cheddar cheese on the pizza (having worked there) just mozzerella and it is the best on the market, but a lot of mozerella in a 500 degree oven can get oily sometimes depending on the consistency in the batch that you have bought-that happens every here and there. I was really sorry to hear about the bad experiences being that the majority of experiences I had there are good ones and the best of memories! I hope that those of you that had good experiences will keep on coming and supporting them and those of you that had bad ones-will give it another whirl! read more

I split a cheese pizza with my girlfriend and some other friends and it was just too much cheese. The sauce was very bland and nondescript like out of a can but the crust was prett good. I can't talk enough about what a cheesy goodness experience that is Going onto the rest of the calzone - the pineapples and olives were excellent - and combined incredibly well with the remnants of the cheese and the rest of the dough I wasn't a huge fan of the garlic, though. there was just wayy too many cloves, and placing them individually meant that you really had to eat them as the focus of a bite rather than adding as a side to a bite. I ended up taking out a lot of them because they didn't taste very good as the focus I did have a main issue with this calzone. All the cheese was essentially on the left side, and all the toppings were on the right side - so these weren't evenly distributed at all. This led to an amazing explosion of taste during the first part of eating, but the second half was still good, but completely stuffed with toppings so that I got way more of the toppings than any cheese or dough while eating that half. While the toppings were good - I began to get tired when every bite was just toppings. I wish the toppings and cheese were spread out through the whole calzone equally For the price, this was a really strong amount of food. I was able to finish it all but felt quite full afterwards. The dough being consistently good throughout really helped

I think I can confidently say this is the best Pizza I've had since moving here, from a non-chain place. Everything just hit - The cheese, the dough, the crust and the slices are big. About $4 a slice, it just tastes like good pizza. All these fancy artisan pizza places with their, wood fired this and fresh finest sauce that I see at all these places I've tried beat out by dumpy ol Pudge bros where it seems like their budget goes into the food and not the location and that is just what I like to see.

It's rare to find places with happy hour food menus. There were only a few people inside when we came in, so we got our choice of tables. I stuck with the happy hour menu since it looked better than the pricing on the regular menu, which matched typical Italian food in Seattle prices. We ordered the Bolognese rigatoni and Lucifera pizza. The pizza came out extremely quick and tasted good. There was a decent amount of pepperoni on top, but I prefer more cheese coverage usually. The rigatoni had huge pieces and was well sauced. Service was very nice and friendly. Even as it got busier, we were checked on.

The burrata doesn't come with bread so we just ate it like a salad since it was on a bed of arugula. Also got the holiday margarita which was amazing and smelled like Christmas time in a cup. Not overly sweet or spicy but really balanced. They had plenty of seating for larger parties too. Service was amazing! They're currently set up for Halloween and the decor was really cute.
