Originally I posted that the place was Very disappointing. I was excited to find this place. They serve pastrami, gyros as well as burgers, shrimp and fries. I ordered the gyros. Unfortunately it was mostly pita bread with reheated gyros strips. (and not very much). The meal came with fries and a 20 oz soda. I will try the pastrami next time. As for general appearance, the place is pretty clean but it's old and could use a remodel. It would be fair to down grade it for general appearance. Plenty of seating and good amount of parking. So if you want something fast and filling this Omega will do. I have now been coming about once every two weeks. I love the pastrami. The burgers are good too. Not great but good old fashion greasy and good. I will keep coming for the pastrami. read more

Was in DT Orange to visit a store that was close by and saw this place. Good yelp reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I actually ate here two days in a row. The vibe of the place seems more like a diner you would visit in a small central valley town vs the LA area. But then again DT Orange kinda has that vibe too. Menu is definitely different from either a burger place or a taco place. Kind of a eclectic mix of both. Staff is nice enough and when I was there mid day there were only 4-5 other tables filled. Food arrived quickly Both times I swung by for some rolled tacos and a drink. Rolled tacos are good, not the best I've had but then again I was there the next day and ordered the same thing. I had breakfast there for my birthday! The portions were very small! The food was cold. I paid almost 12 dollars for two eggs, two pieces of bacon , has browns and 2 pieces of French toast and a very small coffee. This was all served on paper plates with plastic utensils and a very small Styrofoam cup for coffee! How pathetic! I work in retail in the Orange Circle a customer recommend this Burger shop today so my husband and I stopped in. WOW! Omega is conveniently located between my two favorite bars. Only downside, they close early. I'd love to eat at Omega's right after I'd had several pints of beer. Great location. Unfortunately, the hours of operation blow. I usually don't carry cash on me. I'm more of a card person. They charge a service fee when you use card. Really? I have to pay to pay. Doesn't make any sense. Anyway. Other than those cons, this place has a few plus points. Every employee who I've encountered has been pretty nice here at Omega. Friendly customer service is the first thing I always look for in a restaurant or any kind of business. If it doesn't exist with the company, then it's not worth my time. The food is great. I can settle for a jr. burger and fries. Cheap, yet tasty. Order the onion rings with your burger, sandwich or even a burrito. Onion rings are just good in general. Even more so at Omega. I am not writing to complain about the food. I'm writing to complain about the female associate that works in the morning. She's rude and has zero patience. After each item I was ordering through the drive through she kept rushing me and when she felt her patience run out after about 15 seconds she told me to go to the window. I'm not sure how she expected me to order with no menu. Anyway, I never expect to receive special treatment but I do expect to receive respect and that's not what you're going to get from this person. I went there today, first of all I got there when about 15 high school students showed up, I placed my order first to a very unfriendly cashier she didn't even say can I help you nothing and had very long blue nails very gross! Well I ordered a green salad and a grilled cheese sandwich and a drink. The students and a few other people ordered there's after me. Horrible Customer Service! I called in an order for a breakfast burrito at 11:00 since I knew breakfast ends at 11:30 and when my husband got there they said they never got a phone order and breakfast was over so they couldn't do anything about it! Absolutely LOVE this place it is a bit out dated however you could get a good DECENT priced meal for yourself and the whole family. It is family friendly. They have burger specials. They also serve breakfast until 1130 am. They have gyros as well. They do have a restroom. Parking is limited but they is a parking garage nearby that was recently built. They are open late as well. Sunday is perfect day for omega burger. We've been going to this burger place for many years. It's always been a great place for classic chargrilled burgers. Not sure if it's under new ownership but it's going south. The patty was dwarfed by the new, very large bun. You feel like it's just too much bread and not enough meat. The French fry container has been getting progressive smaller. You're paying more for less. Omega Burger, you're trying some new things and they are fails. This is my first visit to this restaurant. As for first impressions, this place is dingy and outdated. It reminds me of the 80's. I came here and took the chance to try out the gyros special which comes with fries and a with a 20 oz drink, but it wasn't to my liking since the meat was overcooked and bland. Even the fries seemed they were sitting out under a heating lamp for a while. As for the service, it even took about 20 minutes before I received my order. Omega makes tasty, greasy food. Cheap, tasty, greasy food. It's all good. It's all cheap. It's all tasty. It's mostly all greasy. Delicious diner food. Huge portions. I particularly favor the breakfast sammie- a huge blob of perfectly cooked eggs. Never runny, never dry, doesn't fall into a billion little bits when you bite in. Bacon or split sausage, lettuce, tomato and cheese. On your favorite toast. mmm mmm good. It is not fast food, though. It is painfully slow food. Agonizingly, painfully slow food. Every time. Don't go through the drive-thru with less than 1/4 tank of gas slow. Don't 'swing in for a quick bite on the way home' when you have to pee slow. But I still like it once in a while. You can use your ATM card at the register, but instead of paying the balance, it acts like a cash machine. Like if your bill is $14, you have to request $20. They give you the $20, then you settle your bill. It's bizarre and makes me uncomfortable. Just sayin'. read more

Named Omega because it's probably the last place I would want to go and eat around these parts. Well, close to it. But this is your standard All-in-one-Burger Joint that you probably just would rather avoid than ever deal with. Now I'm alright with establishments that only take cash. I frequent a lot of them and generally have the mind set that you should be carrying cash on you at all times. But this place really bends you over backwards and gives you a one over if you only have plastic. They have what appears to be the most complex system in which you have to punch in your card as if you're at a strange ATM. You punch in the amount you're pulling out and they just give you the change from the multiple of $20 that you withdraw from your account. Now this has two issues. For one, that $cheap burger now just cost you an extra $2-4 bucks due to the insane rates most banks charge for you using an outside atm from their own. Not to mention that you get charged for using it. By this point you were better off going to fucking Bruxie for how much you're pissing away on a simple meal. Ended up with the breakfast burrito here.. and it sucked. First off, the options are Bacon, Sausage or HAM. Ham? Really? What the hell. This is just feeling wrong. Either that or feeling really white washed. Ham. Come on. That's just silly. The place is also pretty damn dirty looking. You may as well close off the kitchen if you're going to leave it looking like that all the time. It's really not instilling confidence in my choice to come eat here. Yeah. Avoid or just go somewhere else. You'll be paying just as much but getting far better quality in service and food. read more
