Poor customer service. Not my first visit. I placed a mobile order for curbside pickup at 7:40am. App estimated pickup availability at 7:55am. I arrive red promptly pulled into curbside pickup location and called store per instruction. No answer went to an un-monitored vmail. Called again same result. Moved my car to a close handicap spot grabbed my cane and attempted to enter store doors were locked. Attempted to gain attention of people inside. A female looked and angrily removed her headset and shook it at me twice!. I tried to show that screen on my phone for curbside yes I know it was too far for her to see. The green and orange sauce were both pretty spicy but added a nice flavor. The omg taco wasn't as good.. it has a weird flavor that I think was coming from the tortilla. My coworker talked me into skipping the lunch I brought to check this place out. After the experience, OMG definitely was the better choice! I love the decor...it was giving me farmhouse chic. I ordered 2 tacos (barbacoa, OMG chicken taco) and elotes. It was a meal of everything I love. Barbacoa? If it's on the menu, I'm getting it. Since it is a fusion restaurant I wanted fusion. For the most part we enjoyed our food. The prices are a little steep for sizes of the guacamole and elotes. The chips were very salty so maybe get a fresh batch with no salt. This new location is spitting mad game with aesthetics and a nice bar compared to their original location. I bet OMG lovers love it. Service is great and attentive, so both atmosphere and service get checks. However, after trying different menu items ever time, I'm not too satisfied. To start, the tacos are either great or decent. You'll either like the OMG signature, or you don't. Nachos are okay, but I wouldn't get them again. Their tortas are tortas, but are on the bottom of my list. Their rice bowl is a good idea, but there was no substance to it really - it could use a lot more pico de gallo and at least some salt to season the rice. I couldn't even taste the pastor in the rice bowl. Also, all of my bites consisted of hard, undercooked rice. Another thing I wish they had in the open is their bottles of sauces. Depending on what you order, sometimes it doesn't come with sauce and you might be stuck with bland food. Also, when I visited a month ago, I witnessed an employee "air slapping" a lady (who was walking in the same direction afar) like he wanted to slap her peach. I doubt they know each other, but it was an uncomfortable sight. I'm surprise not many people noticed, and wish I should've said something. I pretty much tried each taco, and I think with the Omg meats pair up really well with flour tortilla and the traditional taste great with corn. The cashier that helped me decide what to get on my first visit was very informative and pretty chill. During lunch time it's pretty busy, and there's only two runners, it looks like they have so much to do and on different visits the wait times can be long but most of the time they're short, when I go I always clean up after myself so they don't have to, since they already have so much to do. I was able to check this new location of OMG Tacos. This location is conveniently located off of 75 in Richardson but close to the border of North Dallas. I love that this location is bigger and they have a bar seating area here. Even though it is bigger this place is packed. We luckily were able to grab a table around 2pm on a Sunday. The ordering process is pretty efficient. We ordered and were able to look at the menu in line. The staff was incredibly friendly and interactive. The food came out quickly. The tacos are small so I recommend ordering at least three. I had a chicken taco and two veggie tacos. I also ordered a side of fries and split that with my husband which was plenty. I met up with a friend here just to grab something to eat and catch up. The food was ok. I ordered the elotes and rice bowl. The elotes was a waste of money but the rice bowl was pretty good. My friend got the tacos and enjoyed them. The one thing that I would say is that they need to ensure to clean up after people leave. We could barely find a table that was clean. I stopped in last week straight from work, and the bar was closed, at midnight. This place stays open until 3 AM. So I decided to come back a week later to see if it was a one off. And I walked in the door at 11:15 PM, and the bar is closed. Again. I hate to sound like a lush, but when I am eating tacos, I would like a nice Margarita. Business is a little slow, I get it. If your bartender wants to go home because they're not making any money, I guess, but the manager on duty should be able to serve drinks if they're going to allow the bartender to leave so early.
