This place has been good in the past but Jack apparently the supervisor would not substitute the plate I've gotten since this places grand opening. This is insane and I personally will never go to this location again. They tried to charge me 4 extra dollars for a side that come with the plate which is completely ridiculous. Worst customer service ever. Made a phone order showed up 15 min later when it was said to he ready only to wait a full hour i kept asking and asking for my name still not ready. Then an employee comes back from break and says on your food is ready just to take a bag off the counter thats been sitting there since i got here. Just went here the other day with some buddies. I had a $10 gift card so I decided to check it out. It's very nice and clean inside and has a huge parking lot with plenty of spaces. I ordered the chicken breast with extra pasta salad instead of veggies. I would recommend the chicken breast rather then the other kind they have for cheaper since that's what one of my friends got and he said it wasn't as good of quality (as you would expect). With a large drink, my meal came out to about $12.50. In my opinion, it was better then most Hawaiian BBQ spots I've been. The staff is all young and very friendly which was also a plus. This place is my go to, food always takes at least 15mins or longer but is alway fresh. My favorite is fire island chinken and my wife loves the katsu chicken. Tahalia and Ieleen are always very curtious and helpful. Glade they are still open. read more

I have never been a fan of this restaurant but I gave it a second chance because my mom wanted to eat here. She was so excited.Eating here ended up being the biggest mistake because my mom ended up in the emergency room at football Presbyterian in Glendora. They don't have a warning sign for there customers that have allergies. They cross contaminate there food bc they fry there shrimp in the same fryer as there fish. My mom ordered the fish not knowing that really important information. She had such a severe allergic reaction to the food here it almost cost her life. I called the restaurant to ask if they fry the shrimp in the same oil as the fish the employee confirmed that they do. Mom is allergic to shrimp. I hope this review serves as a reminder that we need to be more allergy friendly. So that you don't put your customers life's at risk do to Cross contamination. read more

Okay I really don't leave bad reviews, but this is the second time I come here and this place doesn't have or doesn't want to serve food because they are closing soon. My first time coming here was great, the portions were really good, and the food was delicious. But then I came again and they ran out of the mahi-mahi, I was upset but whatever it happens and I ordered something else. Today I came and I know they were going to close in 15min but I rushed to get here and they tell me that they are only going to cook chicken if I want that then I can order they are not cooking anything else. Casual place for Hawaiian barbecue. Chicken katsu and kahlua pork combination came with rice, vegetables, and macaroni salad and was excellent. Chicken katsu was really crispy and my children who are picky eaters ate it all up. All beef barbecue platter was also good. Portions were large. read more

Tried this place for the first time recently and ordered the BBQ chicken combo, which comes with rice, macaroni salad, and veggies. So I go to the gym right next door and I've seen this place for the last six months but I always thought to myself, not another crappy BBQ spot. Then I went online and look at some photos and the food. Looked like it was pretty decent. So I decided to give it a try today. I got the one with the rib the beef and the chicken. And I'm not over exaggerating when I say... holy crap!!!!. They use premium meat they give you a large amount and it tastes fantastic. And I'm very picky when it comes to meat and the way it's cooked in the way it tastes. I can't wait to tell everyone I know to try it. It makes Waba Grill taste like some food that you can get from 7-Eleven under the heat lamps. read more

Walked in at 6:20 pm today, Sunday. The place was empty. The only employee visible was "Mackenzie" at the register. She was pleasantly polite and friendly. She took my to-go order and accepted payment as expected. When I went to get my drink the diet Coke was out. I informed Mackenzie and she promptly took care of it. Then the nightmare began. A line of of take out customers started to form at the register, about six or seven customers. One cook appeared and he started rushing around in what appeared to be a panic mode. As the orders started to pile up a second cook appeared and the amateur hour continued. More customers came in. I noticed no less than five customers who had ordered after me pick up their orders. Meanwhile three to go containers that turned out to be my order were sitting on the counter the whole time. When I asked a second cashier (who appeared long after the "rush" began) she casually shrugged her shoulders and said " Oh sorry the cook forgot to put the ticket up with the food so I didn't know it was ready" When l point out to her that my food is probably cold by now she says "No it's not cold" and shoves everything across the counter to me. Whaaaat???? So l wait over twenty minutes for cold food and this is what I get? Needless to say l won't be back. I'd rather drive a little further to L&L or wherever. read more

I feel that even the one star i am giving is being generous, and that is simply because the food is the only good thing about this location. I've stopped at this location a few times but this past time will be my last. My family and I stop here on 2 hour drive back home and I always call 15 minutes ahead of our arrival to make sure the stop time is at a minimum. Typically we still end up waiting an extra 10 minutes when we get there which is understandable depending on the day /time. However today we arrived 15 min after my call and waited 35 extra minutes for our food to be ready after we already paid Staff continued to place large orders after we arrived and they even got their food faster than us. Ironically another customer had the same issue as we did, having called prior and waiting almost 50 minutes. I am never one to complain if something takes a little longer than expected or my order is incorrect, but the fact that the staff members didn't even acknowledge our wait and simply tried to act like we were not there until the chef finally asked them to see how long we had been waiting. The staff seemed annoyed and burdened by even having to ask me what I was waiting for. I hope the owners read this so that they can fix the issue or else they will continue to keep losing customers based on poor customer service. read more

Spent $75 for a family of 7 and the food was horrific. I read the reviews here first and seemed like a great place to have our once a month spluge. The food was full of fat, meat was cold, the rice was so mushy you couldnt eat it. Ugh so very disappointed in this place. What a waste of 75 bucks. Kids threw the food away. Love this Ono compared to other Onos. Clean and new and the food here is delicious! We both ordered the fish, BF the kahlua pork, and I got the Island chicken for our second entrees. Everything was GREAT! The service here is excellent! Lots of food for the price. We ordered the 2 entree aloha plate for $8.99 but $. 50 more for Kahlua pork and took home half the plate. We will each have our leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Will definitely come back! read more
