Nice location, quick service, hot large portions. This location in particular has a private lot that it shares with a couple other business but there is always parking. I once went to this Ono for my lunch break. Ibwaited for my food for apprixmately 20 minutes. During those twenty minutes I had asked how much longer ut was going to take for my food. At 35 minutes i approached the desk and asked if it was ready. They informed me that the food must have been picked up by somebody else and that they'd have to cook another plate. This place is so great. The food is always fresh and delicious. My food is always ready for pick up when I call in and place an order. The staff is always friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Very clean inside and especially around the teriyaki sauce and drink station is always kept clean as well. Yummy! I've only been here once, and I went a little before dinner. 15 minutes later the place was packed! I love the Korean BBQ/Kalbi they have here. Well marinated! MMMM. Comes with macaroni salad (which I don't care for, but it's good) and cooked cabbage (yay, veggies). I no longer have to pay $15 for a measly serving of bbq meat from a stingy Korean restaurant to fulfill my cravings. The meal I ordered was only $6. The portions are GENEROUS ....hello, Hawaiian food. I wouldn't go there too often, just because of the calorie content :). Food is always hot, fresh, tasty and filling. Price is very fair. The location of this restaurant is not the greatest and parking can be tight, but the food makes it worthwhile. I am always satisfied coming to this place. I try to have something different when I go, and I have yet to be disappointed. The only thing I don't like it all of the cabbage that is hidden under the meat to make it look like you have more meat than you really do. What I love about this place is that you get restaurant quality food for an affordable price (under $10). And it's ready within 10 mins. My favorite combination plate is the chicken combo, which includes chicken katsu and BBQ chicken. The serving portions are great, although I wish they add more macaroni salad because it's so yummy! No more loco moco. There is literally no other Hawaiian restaurants in the immediate area, so it passes. The food isn't entirely bad, it just isn't as good as other Hawaiian restaurants I've been to. I've been here a few times and although the food is great, a few times I've gone in 45 minutes to closing and it's almost as though they are kicking you out. I feel it's bad for business to kick out your patrons. After all we are paying for food and a service. Although the food isn't too expensive, you to pay at least $8 a plate. When did they stop putting dressing on their salad? I used to LOVE this place. I go specifically for the salad/Hawaiian chicken. The last time I came in, I asked for another dressing - and they told me it would be an additional charge. (Not at other locations) This time, I ordered it to go - and I think they topped it with 1/4 tsp of dressing. The rest was just cabbage mix. Tables were sticky, and some homeless guys were coming in the side entrance to use the restrooms and loiter in the patio area. This location has definitely gone downhill. Whenever I happen to be shopping at neighborhood, this turns out to be one of few quick lunch stop. It's clean and busy Hawaiian BBQ as usual with heavy emphasis on sauce. The noodles with soup was below average (felt like something out of premade packaged stuff in asian market... actually, some of prepackaged stuff tasted better...) but truth is, I doubt most people go ther for noodles. I enjoyed most of their BBQ menu, Katsu was generally decent (bit on dry side), Chickens were good to great. Beef was very... WELL... marinated.
