This was a special birthday treat. Our party of 4 averaged about $200 per person and that included drinks. They have a very gamey menu - ostrich, antelope, and bison. I had the bison and lobster tail. Loved loved loved both! The server did forget my lobster and the steak was under cooked for someone in my party, but once these errors were fixed the food was decadent and savory. We did try the mixed cheese tray but it only came with 4 crackers. This was silly because once everyone had one taste there was nothing else to eat the rest of the appetizer with. The ambiance was something to be desired; a table had a physical confrontation behind us - nothing within anyone's control. But it was very annoying for this incident to continue throughout our entire meal. Instead of security taking them outside they tried to resolve the issue in front of all the guests. Bad form and poorly done. We've all paid a generous amount of money to dine there - get these people out immediately! Sort out the details in a private space instead of the restaurant floor. Something to consider if you want to earn the rest of those stars in a review. read more

Was it worth the wait? Yes. Value for the money? Meh. Pros: personable server, Mars, who knew all our names and really, really listened to us. He made excellent recommendations and was patient with our questions and requests. Decent and elevated food that when it hits the mark, it hits dead center. Cons: apathetic chef and a supervisor who knew about an issue with a steak not properly done who chose not to stop by our table to discuss. (My best friend went to seek him out and discuss because there was a clear difference in the jovial mood when we reported my husband's cold centered steak and the chef asked "what do they want?") (We wanted the steak done properly) For context we were a party of four celebrating my and my husband's wedding anniversary with our matron of honor and best man. We spent over $700. The supervisor ultimately took care of some things for us, after a long conversation with my friend (still not tableside but whatever) but it dismayed me that a place known for special occasion dining wouldn't place more emphasis on making sure of a seamless experience including food preparation and responding to feedback timely and proactively. That said, the food was overall very good. The bread basket came with this incredibly addictive mascarpone spread, and the attention to detail in the appetizers and side dishes was impeccable. Long saffron strands adorned the crab and avocado stack and the avocado was prepared at the height of its perfect creamy ripeness. Anyone who has purchased avocados at home knows they only have 15 minutes of fame so that alone was so impressive. The tiny clams which were sourced from Tom's Cove,Virginia were delicate and slightly briny - really exceptional. The mains were less perfect- like I mentioned, hubby's steak which was ordered medium rare Pittsburgh style, was cold centered and white unrendered fat was still around the outside of the steak. My steak was more evenly cooked but what was really great about it was the peppercorn crust- way more delicate and mild than one would expect from the assertive peppercorn, and just an absolute treat for the senses; this preparation coupled with the crunchy chili sauce that Mars recommended was amazing. The lobster tail add on ($85 for two petite tails) was not worth it- while one tail was nicely done and tender, the other was very rubbery and tough. And the vanilla bean in the butter was off putting. We are adventurous eaters but that just didn't go well with the lobster. The sides were crazy good- the mashed potatoes with fondue were so so decadent and with a drizzle of the chili crunch sauce they were really stellar. Desserts were good but not great- I think apple cheesecake had a shampoo like taste but the chocolate banana dome was a solid offering. Mars was fabulous but chef Josh ensured we might not be back for steak anytime soon. And while we appreciate that the manager addressed our concerns, it was disappointing that we had to actively seek him out, and he never actually stopped by the table to see how things were. read more

Food was amazing. The bays down the corridor are great for date nights. Watching the sunset. The floor for the regular dining service is spacious enough that you don't feel like you are sitting in your neighbor's lap. And there is a nice outdoor area that is beautiful to look out at the city from. read more

We were in town to scope out venues for a big corporate event this fall so we decided to try Orange Sky with the family on a whim. We didn't have a reservation that particular night but when we arrived we were told we could be accommodated at the bar. We were traveling with a 16 year old who clearly doesn't look of age but were assured we could order at the bar and move to an empty "lounge" table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was pretty empty and a bit stark but we sat at the bar with about 5 other guests. It wasn't that busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender did not acknowledge us at all and after sitting there for at least 10 minutes he told us he would be right with us. He then disappeared for another 5-10 minutes. When he returned he proceeded to serve another customer. Just as we were about to leave he came over and told us he couldn't allow my son to sit at the bar which normally I would say fine but we explained to him that we were told we could order and then move. He rudely responded "not at my bar." So in short we waited 20-25 minutes to be ignored and then to be treated rudely on top of it all. We've been to plenty of fine dining establishments and Orange Sky isn't even in the universe of what one would expect at a signature experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Incompetent front desk, incompetent and rude bartender and a weird creepy atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I felt like I was in The Menu. We ended up at TASH and the service was amazing. Needless to say we won't be holding our corporate event at Orange Sky and we will be sure to let all of our local Phoenix colleagues know why we chose another venue for our event. read more

I want to start this review by saying that I am a little biased as this place now holds a very special memory for me! I've been here once before for a friend's birthday in 2016 and had a great experience, with the second time being for my engagement a few weeks ago - 8/20. The staff here at Orange Sky really make this place what it is. My fiancé booked the reservation two weeks in advance and requested a "nice view." He received a phone call the day before and was told that everything with a view was booked, but they would give him something if it became available. Little did he know, they would be putting us at the table with the most amazing view (and typically requires minimum $200 spend). We were greeted immediately by our waiter Julio who was so knowledgeable and kind. He took multiple pictures for us (we had just gotten engaged), recommended great drinks, and knew everything there was to know about the menu. For drinks, we began the night with a glass of Prosecco, and ordered Berry Smashed and Finally Infused for specialty cocktails. The food of course did NOT disappoint. We started with the kale caesar (not pictured) to share as an app. My fiancé ordered the prime NY, I ordered the diver scallops and we ordered the green chile mashed potatoes to share. For dessert we were given a complimentary chocolate fudge item (not on the menu), and ordered the vanilla rum fog crème brûlée. Everything was phenomenal and we were actually bummed that we were meeting friends after and Ubered there, so we were not able to take leftovers - the food was THAT good. Orange Sky is one of our favorites! We especially love to take friends and family to share the experience with them. After each visit we are always left in awe by how incredible the food, drinks and service is. Our last visit on July 29th was truly a special experience because we were able to bring some of our extended family from out of town that we hadn't seen in awhile. Two staff members in particular played a massive role in our incredible experience. Regina couldn't have been better fit for us last Saturday night. She was extremely attentive, patient and meshed SO well with our group. Thank you Regina for being so accommodating and for taking such great care of us and our many orders. Ryan is our favorite bartender of all time. He never misses and is truly a master mixologist. Between the custom cocktails the attention to detail, he is an absoluetly gem of a bartender. We normally dine at Kai. Last night we tried Orange Sky a beautiful facility with good service from Michael. A large party of 16 was then seated nearby. As many of this party journeyed to the adjacent patio, cold wind continued to blow over us ruining our evening and our food! Many other tables were available! It was too late to move! Now to the food. Two main courses did not arrive with the other two for 15 minutes with a "plating problem" necessitating re-cooking the salmon. It was way under cooked! Polenta a bit tough and cold! Caesar salad just fair with an undistinguished dressing. Anchovies $12.00 extra! Our waiter jumped in with jumbo shrimp while we waited! Sadly, we finished much later than our wives! In terms of value, this restaurant is way over priced as well. If you want to pay $150/person for just fair food with a magnificent sunset, this is the place for you. I have been looking for a nice upscale restaurant to try in Phoenix and I found this one! It's inside the casino but once in the elevator it's like you are not even in the casino. You can't hear anything. Once outside the elevator you get greeted. The entire time We had 2 maybe 3 servers at all time. Now the food! The lamb was good and flavorful. The steak was exactly what I was looking for. To me, if a steak requires a sauce then it's no good. I won't even eat it, BUT this however needed nothing. Perfect! The appetizers were great too! I wish I was raising this above three stars but even with the reopening it just wasn't as impressive. My guess is short staffed but perhaps it's just laziness. Once we got to the OS level we will not permitted onto the north patio with the water feature until our table was ready even though the place was not busy at all. We stayed in the south lounge where I found several tables unoccupied, yet not clean. Again the place was not busy and it was a Sunday night. When we are spending $100 a head I expect cleanliness, great tasting food and service to back it all. Instead, we only got service. Bradford was just lovely. The food was nothing above average, but it had been. The front area had dust and wilted flowers. The bathrooms needed attention. Our patio table had a spill or stain under it and the tiles above our head were dirty. The view is great but maybe the west side next time. read more

This restaurant was, for years, our favorite. Ambience, quality and a decent price for it all. Our last visit, 8/23/25, this was a totally different place. Lack of interest in the occasion, poor food quality and a disengaged employee. The view is stunning but now the price is much too high for the products. I left a message with management to share this experience, no return phone call, pretty much how the evening went for my three guests and me. Made a reservation and unfortunately was 2 minutes late and was not granted a table. Could not reach the restaurant by phone due to their answering system. We were given poor directions to the restaurant by staff in the casino. Matthew was asked by the underskilled host if we could still be seated and he said no. We decided to dine in the bar area. I have been to the Orange Sky on multiple occasions with family & friends ranging from birthday celebrations to job promotions, but this time it was different as it was an intimate opportunity to sit back relax and enjoy one's company. What better way to celebrate a birthday dinner targeted around sunset and man let me tell you the sunsets from the (Orange Sky Lounge)'s are magnificent. It was no rush plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere the sunset and the overlook of the Pool's Release Party from the opposite end of the balcony made the night even great. I think we really lucked out and had a professional server who was meticulous and paid very close attention to our request along with explaining the menu items for us. The reason I point that out is that one of the larger party tables that were behind us, unfortunately, did not have the same great experience that was represented at the same professional level. read more

Don't sleep on the private booths. That's the way to go! The service is hit or miss depending on the staff and where you sit. Best spot is the private booths. We had an incredible first meal here, and the second meal service was lacking. Lots of miscommunication between servers was obvious and having had an amazing experience the first time, we prefer the private booths. All that aside, the food and drink is exceptional and what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant at a casino. Everything we've had here was delicious and would order it again! And the views are stunning! Book a table a half hour to hour before sunset and you can watch the sun set with the gorgeous colors in the sky above the mountain. Solid fives from start to finish. We were greeted politely at the base of the entry elevator and took the ride up. At the top we're were escorted to a great corner location so no need for a special view table, we had it. We ordered the crab avocado appetizer which was delicious. I had their orange sky martini and was quite impressed. My father had the stroganoff, I had the chicken and my mother had the skirt steak. All were superb. Beautiful place!! I took my boyfriend here for a date-night and he loved it! It's located on the highest floor of the casino. We were escorted by at least 3 people into the restaurant. There were private booths that you could reserve before hand, which overlook into the entire city almost. Fab at nighttime. Wish we knew to reserve these in advance. Let's start with the views, some of the best in the valley! Ambiance is nice, Orange Sky has the entire 15th floor. Live entertainment was nice in the bar area. We were greeted by a friendly hostess that provided a small tour, including where the restrooms were located. This is rare as hostesses are usually not trained properly and lack personality. We were sat at an incredible table with gorgeous views. Mars was our server and he was knowledgable, so friendly and on point throughout service. We started with the Salmon Crudo and Oysters. Then we had the "Elevate your game" ALL IN! The sauces provided on the side were delicious. We had the corn cake as a side! Everything was cooked perfectly and so unique in flavor- levels of flavor. We ended with the, Flourless chocolate cake, Espresso Flan and Tres Leches cake! A total splurge! Orange sky is always hit or miss. The first time I went the customer service was exceptional, and the wine options were good (especially considering they weren't severely over priced). However the food was only okay. The second time I came it was just to sit at the bar and have wine and dessert with my mother in law. Again both wine and customer service were so amazingly good. The dessert was seriously to die for. The caramel was the perfect texture and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Last time I came, the service was good but didn't match that of my other experiences. The sides were better than the steaks which were over cooked. Dessert was heaven yet again. I would say this is a place for drinks, dessert, and a view but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a steak here. read more

Went for my husband birthday while staying at the hotel. They asked if a special occasion when making the reservation & again from the hostess. I said it's my husband's bd. Hostess was very nice & wished him a happy birthday. We were seated right away. Our server & her assistants were very attentive. They start with fresh assortment of breads, then we split the arugula beet salad. My husband had the filet, I had the salmon & mashed potatoes as our side. All our food was excellent. We decided to skip dessert. There were two big disappointments, why ask if it's a special occasion & not even have wait staff wish someone a happy birthday. Second when we paid cash our waitress took the bill & money, quite a while passed then she finally came back asked if we wanted change. Did she actually expect to receive a 40 0/0 tip!! read more

They also have wild game but yeah I'm good on that part. lol would u believe we were toooooo full for any dessert tight me ! The queen of all sweets couldn't even get anything bc i was way to full from our main course. They really cater to you here over 100% amazing it was so nice to have that at such a nice place to eat. My husband and I visited Orange Sky restaurant at Talking Stick for the first time last weekend. It was a very nice dining experience, particularly if you are used to the "high end" restaurants at some of the CA Indian casinos that in the end don't really feel that way. Orange Sky felt more like an LA type fiber dining experience with a full and exotic menu including modern interpretations of game meat (artfully prepped Elk isn't my thing, but if it's yours, check it out.) Highly recommend the pork belly appetizer. Beautiful views at sunset, friendly, pro-active wait staff and good craft cocktails (the smoked old fashioned was good, and they make a solid classic martini). Check it out! read more

Held a group dinner with some friends here tonight, and was extremely disappointed. The server was awesome and very attentive, but tonight the kitchen let him down. From the start, the bread seemed to be a day old and our baked potatoes for all 12 in our group were not cooked. Additionally, the salmon was a little lacking. Unfortunately, I think the restaurant is more secondary to the casino, despite the amazing views from the restaurant top floor.
