Typical little cafe and coffee spot. Plenty of seating inside. I only stopped here for a an hour or so to work. I ended up ordering some tea given it was afternoon, so I did not end of trying any of there coffee or food. Would absolutely check it out again to work and connect with friends. Warning. We come here often. The coffee is great except they do not put lids on it. I burned 2 fingers walking with it...even though I was cautious when getting cream. I suggested to the manager lids but she did not even acknowledge my condition. At least warn the customer how blazing hot the coffee is when serving and ask if they want a lid. read more

I come here a couple times a month and it is a friendly place with most people working or having quiet conversations. Today there was a loud group celebrating the election results. Placed an order for 2 croissant egg sandwiches with bacon on top and specifically asked that bacon not get chopped and mixed in the egg. The bacon was mixed in the eggs. One of the sandwiches was in toasted sandwich bread instead of a croissant. We kept them and did not complain because it took a long time to get them. Another reason is because the one who took our order is Cynthia, who is not pleasant and has no customer service skills. read more

This is a large coffeeshop! At around 6pm, most tables were empty and this was a relief because I needed to find a spot somewhere quick. I got the Mexican mocha which was delicious--perfectly sweet. They seemed to have a wide variety of pastries to choose from and some lunch options too. What I did notice was that there weren't too many spots for outlets but luckily my computer was charged. The chairs and tables are a bit worn down. Maybe an upgrade is needed! Staff were nice--they have decaf espresso in case you need it which was handy for me because I didn't want to be up all night but wanted the coffee flavor. Absolute hidden gem. Coffee is some of the best in the area. Pastries and breakfast are good too.

Coffee is old-school and not great, parking is tough (downtown Campbell has limited street parking but there are some lots to check... but they also usually have only 10 spots each), but the service is good, wifi is good, lots of wall and floor outlets, and there's a lot of seating (this place has been around awhile, so you definitely won't get a "modern" coffee shop that has this much space), which does make it a really ideal study spot (especially since it's open til 6 PM so you can study here for most of a full day). 4/5 for the study experience, 3/5 for the coffee, would recommend it more as a place to study than for the coffee itself read more

Not a fan of this place. I only come here if I have no other place to go. Customer service is really mixed -- I had a lame interaction today with someone who barely cared about being pleasant. I asked what was in one of their quiches and she said "I don't know" and then did nothing to try and figure it out. I'm glad she was honest but also ... try ... a little. There is another young woman who works there who is sweet. Their coffee is meh and their food is the same. This cafe is in the middle of downtown campbell. It caught my eye because it's huge for a cafe and there's plenty of space to study. The noise level is decent and they have an area that had board games and stuff. They have a roaster in the cafe as well. I didnt see them roast their own coffee but i assume it's actually in use. I got a latte and a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun is okay. The bread didnt have much flavor to it. The latte is pretty standard. The price is okay as well. It's pricey for the quality but it is downtown so it makes sense. The parking is tough as well. You can parallel park on the street but if it's crowded you might have to park a couple of blocks away. Great place to do work but not the best coffee shop out there. read more

Everything was VERY decent . Coffee tasted watered down, Got a Triple iced vanilla latte . The food is pretty bad, I got the traditional breakfast for almost $12 - Came on a paper plate , eggs, Almost burnt bacon & a regular english muffin . Looks like an old historical spot reminiscent of the days when fruit orchards grew in abundance in Santa Clara County. There are pictures on the wall showing scenes of rural life - people on horse back and farm land. What Campbell CA looked like a long time ago. Really great looking pastries here!! I opted for the croissant breakfast sandwich (ham,egg &cheese)- note that it's not on the menu but they can make it upon request. Partnered with a Masala Chai Latte was super filling. They do have two different chai lattes as well- Oregon and Masala. Oregon is more sweet...masala is more of the traditional spice chai. Lots of open seating and tables inside and outside. I also like how they have broad windows they can open up for fresh air. read more

Always love trying new coffee shop. After been travel overseas for two weeks, finally have a chance to enjoy a true coffee the way I want it. 1) Location: Great better down town Campbell area. Lots of customers traffic and awesome parking space for everyone. 2) Price is the same as starbuck and Peet's coffee. 3) Server were friendly and helpful. Awesome attitude and so refreshing 4) Customers vibe were great too! Everyone is so friendly... First thought were the coffee with caffeine then realized it's just nice people 5) Decor: nice, great decoration with old coffee grinding machine and lots of great Ocean pictures on the wall. What can I say, coffee make the world a better place or we just happy that it was weekend. Either way, it s always good to hang out at a coffee place with such a great vibe in the air. If I can give this place 0 zeros I would. Customer service was terrible. The girl taking the order looked like she hated being there. I ordered a medium iced vanilla latte, which came out to $7.33 and it was so gross. I ended up going back right after I walked out because it literally tasted like no syrup was added. Just bitter and tasteless. Even with the added syrup the coffee tasted burnt and bitter. Will not be coming back. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

It makes me sad to report this but I have to let others know my experience. I was in the area for several days and happy to find a spot that seemed a good place to relax with my baby after a long drive. On my first visit the coffee and omelet were delicious; they even allowed a substitute for the menu. I couldn't wait to go back and try their quiche next. However, as I was sharing this slice of quiche with my child, I discovered a LOT of mold on the underside. I showed this to the person at the counter and requested they check the pie. He asked if I'd like another slice of it. Why on earth would I want that!!??? I opted for the dessert instead despite wanting a protein breakfast. So I finished my coffee and noticed he did NOT check any of the quiches. So I went up again and stated how it bothers me he didn't care to inspect these before serving to others. He stated "Ya ya I'll check it" and proceeded to stand there. When I tried to suggest that maybe the refrigerated display doesn't work, since my bread pudding wasn't cold at all, he turned away and totally ignored me. I am sad he chose to handle the situation this way rather than prevent a customer from being ill. If I wasn't picking out the olives for my infant I wouldn't have noticed at all and consumed a mouthful of mold. Plus I couldn't find any restroom. read more

Wonderfully large seating area. Laid back atmosphere. I had a nice soy cappuccino. Their croissants looked go so I ordered one, warmed. Aarrrgh! They use a microwave oven to warm croissants. Have to stop that! Everybody knows what sogginess happens to croissants (that are supposed to be crisp on top and flaky buttery inside) when you microwave them. It was sad, but still tasted so-so. Rather than funding Starbucks- the next coffee shop down- I took a little stroll to Orchard Valley Coffee. They were set up to keep their customers safe; only one door open and all tables and chairs up, plus a note reminding customers to forgo the shop's reusable mugs. I like a savory drink, so I took a Mexican Mocha to go. It was a little sweeter than I would have preferred, but I didn't know this until after I left because I hadn't sipped in the store. Flatly ridiculous. I waited over 20 minutes for my breakfast burrito only to be told when I finally inquired that it had not even been started. The owner actually asked me how much I paid for it when I chose a refund instead of waiting another 20 minutes. Latte was mostly foam, little chai. I'll never do business here again. ok, I love the feel of this coffee house and the customer service. They had seasonal iced decorated cookies in stock through out the season vrs big chain always-out-of-stock-and-quality-low-tartrucks version. Eggnog latte's ! These are hard to find these days so I post them so my fellow nog heads can find their fix. Also I want to let the companies that do serve them, - continue it every year please! I make it a point to indulge every holiday time with these, as I know most people who are "latte'rs" do too- but its so hard to find up and down the " 'area's" these last couple of years. We come here fairly frequently for coffee before farmers. Unfortunately the past two visits have been frustrating. Last time a lady who appeared to be the owner sent the cashier to another task and took over the register as we ordered, this would have been fine except she input the wrong drink order. Minor issue, it got corrected but a bit annoying. This morning we got in well before the farmers market crowd, about 8:15. We got our drinks and pastries and hung out as we waited on our breakfast burrito. 20 minutes later still no burrito, I went up to the cashier, Seamus, I had order from and reminded him we were still waiting on a breakfast burrito, he curtly informed me the kitchen was working on it, ok but you guys aren't busy yet and it's been 20 minutes, it normally doesn't take this long... So we hangout and wait, 10 minutes later 3 burritos come out and are all snatched up by a large group.... I go and tell another woman that I am still waiting on a burrito, she goes to tell the kitchen. 40 minutes from first ordering I get my burrito without any acknowledgment of this mishap, great thanks guys. Customer service could use some work, the owner was behind the counter and was very rude, glaring at customers and appeared to be very judgmental over customers just sitting and trying to enjoy their drinks, which could barely be called "coffee". I'm happy and my kids see it. Although we as human beings are hard wired for connection, I have found myself starting to disconnect. No, I will always Yelp but I am talking about actually talking or texting people. I have such a deep appreciation for solitude that I want it regularly and I have been making effort to have it. People come and go but I will always have myself. For that reason, I have been pushing myself more than ever to better myself in every aspect of my life. I not only read daily but I listen to Podcasts and watch various TedTalks - not just about enhancing my career but to broaden my mind and see life through different lens. I wasn't always that open-minded but once I stopped to listen instead of trying to rebuttal instantly, my perspectives changed greatly. The coffee shop was almost empty yesterday night. It was Saturday night! I understood why. Downtown Campbell was busy and bustling w/ people out enjoying their evening away. Some were eating, some were drinking, and some were just talking and sharing stories. I love to people watch! I walked in and was thrilled to be able to sit anywhere, connect to their free WiFi, and to study my evening away. I did order an asparagus quiche (it was heated up in the microwave) and a chocolate mousse cake. After I inhaled my 2 things, I started studying. I was completely happy w/ the chocolate cake and completing an online course. The chocolate cake was moist and decadent! I wouldn't order the quiche again.. too many vegetables, haha. Yup. No matter what happens, I will always have my drive. Come here to get your work done but bring headphones because some people do not have a fucking inside voice. + friendly service + dead on Saturday night + clean bathroom + get the chocolate mousse cake + water available by the window + free WiFi but need to "agree" once you launch your browser Only negative thing is the lighting.
