Great sushi anyways good service, closed tuesdays never over busy, nothing bad about our favorite dining spot

my friends and i love coming here. its hard to only order sushi or only one hot dish :] i usually find myself ordering a plate of sushi and a hot dish with leftovers. they have a big drink list, even for nonalcoholic beverages. bubble tea! menu is huge and is basically asian fusion style. i ordered a vietnamese dish and it wasnt too good. my dad as well and he suggested that their vietnamese dishes should be steered clear of. the owners are chinese so pretty much everything else is good =] the boss lady seems to be pretty nice, as well. it is pretty crowded if its busy. i go there probably once a month. it was my dads birthday and the boss lady gave my dad a fried banana dessert which was so nice! it was delicious and even my dad liked it! hes so picky ;] read more

wow awesome sushi in a small town! i love their dragon,spider, caterpiller and tempura roll here. i usually order w/vanilla bubble tea to drink. my husband likes their blueberry bubble tea. mongolian beef is also pretty yummy here. read more

Sushi is pretty good. My boyfriend ordered the pad Thai. Worst thing ever. Tasted like noodles drenched in sweet ketchup. He's not looking too good right now. Just stick to the sushi. read more

I went there for lunch. No complaints about the restaurant's physical state. We had great service. Our food arrived quickly. I'm picky about sushi....I think you have to be. We had the pink dragon roll, spider roll, a roll with asparagus. I think they use too much rice, so that every roll is a huge mouthful, and all that rice tends to disguise the real flavor. The seaweed was pretty stringy and hard to bite through as well. Fish could have been fresher. The pink dragon roll, which they are proud of, wasn't bad, but the sauce was too much - too sweet, and everything a litte overcooked. But the food was presented well. read more

It wasn't horrible, but the sushi (fish) was not fresh. It lived up to the outside appearance which is strip mall Asian/ Sushi.

I love Origami! We go here or get takeout about once a month. Our favorites are the Pink Dragon rolls and the bubble tea. Yum! It is quite easy for us to spend money here without realizing it. read more

Delicious! There is a large variety of rolls to choose from, including extra spicy tuna roll which was really yummy. The patio on the side is a nice place to sit when it is nice outside as well. I will return. read more

my fiance and i LOVE this place always nice staff and love the prices super affordable and most of all the sushi is un-real and so delish!

We ordered the tempura crunch roll which came so hot it actually burn the inside of my mouth. I don't mean spicy as in wasabi I mean it actually blistered the inside of my mouth it was so hot! Food was good. Atmosphere casual. Service was minimal. Restaurant was freezing cold and dirty. read more

I went with my four children... We are a bit of a zoo and we had a great meal. The food was good. The sushi was great.

I must say being from California my husband and I love good sushi. We usually go to Hiro sushi in port orchard which is great. We were in the Silverdale area and decided to try out origami. We tried a few rolls that were horrible! The fish did not taste fresh and the crunch roll had no crunch to it but was more on the soggy end. Definitely will never be returning! read more

We had pork katsu. It was a nice large portion and perfectly cooked. The service was good. We were very pleased.

Once and never again, I have had sushi, and Asian food for over my half of the my life, this was a great disappointment today. We order a sushi bento and yakitori Bento, what a disappointment, the sushi was stale, the sushi rolls where loose, and fell apart. The egg rolls where overcooked and greasy, The yakitori chicken, was old, and warmed up. We are surprised we did not get sick, oh we did not eat everything. The sushi was not fresh, it was pre-made. you could tell by the dryness of the meat.. The Menu was to large, that is tell already that it could not be good. Well as it was the first time we were there, so we gave a try, well we are not coming back. I don't recommend this place, not if you want to eat some good sushi. The prices that were charged, was way over for what you got, I know another Asian Restaurant that serves Quality sushi, that is great, and the prices are less, for what they are asking here. The place is run down, and the setup is less then appealing. I was surprised there where customers. Well we won't be a repeat. read more

I really like their food here. They make very good sushi! Any of their rolls is good. But I'd recommend the Pink Dragon Roll! I've had their kalbi a couple of tomes, but they don't make it very good. The last 3 times I ordered, the marinade they used was off and the whole thing tasted too salty and inedible. Disappointing to say the least. They also make really good desserts. I absolutely love their tempura ice cream or fried bananas! They also have different Chinese, thai, Vietnamese dishes that they do so so. I would stick with their sushi! They make some of the best sushi around Kitsap co.Service is always good when coming here. Everyone seems so nice! read more

Don't get anything Japanese, sushi rolls are terrible, tempura is soft and chewy with the wrong flavor, even the wasabi is not as it should be. Very expensive low quality food. I know that sushi technique varies, but if fresh ingredients are used, I have found that most sushi flavor is the same for the same rolls. Not the case at origami. Please don't order Japanese from this place. The lemonade fountain drink was really the best part. We couldn't even eat half the food before bailing. Paid 35% more than an actual good Japanese place. It was painful and unpleasant. I really regret going, and that is saying a lot. I can't believe this place has gotten any decent reviews. I can't figure it out. Try Ichizen and never look back. read more

Sushi in the upper Washington State area is hard to find. But when you do, it's great. Dropped into Origami and was shocked by the way the place looked. I scoured the windows for cleanliness stickers but couldn't find any. The place looks like a real hole in the wall, but that's where the deceit ends. Prices are good for Sushi, the fish was fresh, the sushi chefs were very nice and accommodating. Enjoyed my sushi at the bar. The service was top notch, the atmosphere is that of a friendly neighborhood. I will most certainly visit again the next time I am in the region. read more

Four co-workers and I went for lunch and I was mildly disappointed after hearing so much about the place. The service was good, however there was a some dirt on the floor near the baseboards and a dead fly laying under one of the tables. There was also a live insect, a silverfish I think, crawling across the leg of the chair. The food was about average for lunch sushi but quite a bit overpriced for the area. For the quality and lunch time I feel that it wasn't up to par. All of that being said, I will probably not go out of my way to eat there again. read more

I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here for my whole life and it has always been good. The sushi is amazing and the people who work here are very kind and friendly. I highly suggest getting the pink dragon roll and peach bubble tea. This place is definitely worth the visit read more
