So glad it was my turn to choose where we get to have dinner for gal pal night, we all tried a new place and really enjoyed it! Great service, tasty offerings. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, steamed dumplings, black bean noodles, and Donkatsu. Everything was shareable and we had leftovers. The kimchi fried rice was my favorite, full of flavor not too greasy and loved the pieces of beef throughout the dish. I loved their kimchi and radish on the side. The steamed dumplings were lovely with the dipping sauce. The Donkatsu was a little overcooked but it was still a tasty dish with crunchy outside, the sauce was great. Black bean noodles were great but the fans were on full blast in the restaurant, our food got cold pretty fast. The women working behind the counter were hospitable and kind. The 2 of them seem to run the restaurant together. They have a bathroom available, but not in the greatest condition. This place has a lot of charm, overall a good time and would gladly return.

Amazing food for lunch. I've had their different lunch bowls and it so fresh. The price point for all of their meals is so affordable. A++ The ladies working here are so nice it was 95° today and she gave me this free drink. So kind-hearted

My go to place for bibim naengmyun - mix of noodles with spicy sauce in a refreshing cold broth. The service is friendly and prompt. They sometimes have a buy 1 get 50% off on certain menu items. The dumplings are good either fried or steamed. I usually dip in the tteokbokki sauce but they give you a soy sauce mix on the side. The tteokbokki is sweet and spicy and you can opt to add ramen or other toppings. The spicy squid is also a favorite! The various soups are also good (udon, tofu soup, etc).

Super yummy food! Got to try the cold noodle! Exceptionally good! Teriyaki chicken special is my fam bam all time favorite! Come support this join!

The services are so nice in Korean, explanation was kind and understandable. The food looks nice and salivated as well:)

Tangsuyuk - sweet and sour pork

I was really craving sweet and sour pork (tangsooyuk), so I gave this place a shot. Big mistake. The meat had zero flavor and absolutely no crispiness--even though I picked it up fresh, it was already soggy. I should've just gone to Panda Express. Definitely not coming back for this dish.

Jungjungmyeon - delicious and good portion

Love this place. Came here for lunch and was greeted with very friendly staff. The food was great. We had the black bean noodles, dongkatsu, teriyaki and beef bowl, and other dishes. Everything was delicious. Portions were generous and they even brought out extra salad and soup for us. Very upbeat place with nice decor. Nice place, great food, but what stood out for me was the friendly and helpful service!

A nice and convenient spot in Cerritos. It has a great selection on the menu. The food taste original and comes with larger than regular sized bowl or plate. We tried jajang myeon, donkatsu, spicy squid over rice, fried dumplings and teriyaki bowl. This place is worth coming back.

Revisiting a restaurant I haven't been here in years. Yes it is still good as I remember it. Spicy Sea food soup was excellent. So full after eating service was fast and efficient. Ambiance was typical for Korean restaurant.

    Donkatsu

Service: - Amazing service they lady was very helpful and made sure to understand my order. Ambiance: - The place was a bit small but very clean. - Loved the music! - Self serve (water, tea) Food: Highly recommend * - *King Short Rib Soup * ( Clean rich Broth and very flavorful.) - *Donkatsu* ( Crispy juicy pork , the salad was refreshing and had a tangy dressing, loved the sauce they put on top of the pork cutlet.) - *Jjambbong*( Somewhat spicy but very flavorful, good potion of seafood.) - *Jajangmyeon*( had bite size potatoes, cabbage, and pork . On top had peas, and flavorful sauce.) - Dumpling Soup ( Big mandu dumplings, vegetables, strong flavor of sesame oil ) Banchan - They give you yellow radish ( Danmuji) - Kimchi ( I can't get enough of their kimchi it's so crunchy and flavorful . Taste like homemade fresh batch of kimchi.) Overall, OTTO Kitchen is a treasure restaurant you must come here. Just come in with a big appetite :) You won't leave disappointed especially with the portions and good pricing for the food quality you are getting.

Cold Noodles, Jjajangmyeon, and Kimchi Fried Rice

Super authentic Korean food - small family run business, and the kindest people are cooking & taking your orders! I loved the cold noodles here, a dish that has been hard to find around the area - but their serving of it makes for a perfect summer order. Definitely cannot come here without ordering the Jjajangmyeon and their kimchi fried rice. Servings are meant to be shared, so be sure to eat family style! Be sure to look out for their lunch specials & support this local business!

    Chicken and rice - delicious!

Super flavorful chicken, perfectly cooked, over rice with a side slaw and egg rolls. I didn't even use the sauce for the chicken, it was so delicious on its own. The slaw was the perfect textural balance and added a light freshness to the meal. The egg rolls were mouth watering. Service was kind and friendly. Packed well to go!

Rice cake $15 not good. Watery, way too sweet but also salty

Are you guys planning to sell kimbap through Ubereats?

We no longer sell kimbap anymore, sorry about that.

    Do they cook with MSG?

Not that I've seen them add it, but it could be in their sauces or marinades. I've been coming here since it was E-teliyaki and am sensitive to high doses of MSG. I have never felt odd after eating here, except when I eat a load of chili / spicy… Read more

Maxwell does not disappoint --- their garlic ginger sauce is reall good. The rice is also pretty good, just the right amount of chicken flavor without being too salty. I've also tried the fried chicken, and the skin is super crispy and delicious. Pretty unexpected to find good fried chicken at a Hainan chicken place, but it's a nice surprise. You can add a piece of fried chicken to the Hainan chicken plate, which is what I'd recommend. Looks like a lot of people get takeout from here. There are only two tables inside with a few tables outside. Service is friendly and fairly quick. This is definitely my go-to place for Hainan chicken, and I will be back!

I never looked around to see if there was an ordering area for you to pay with someone. Ambiance: Very quiet. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there was only one group seated inside. It seemed a bit hot in there TBH. This doesn't seem like a sit down area much, seems more like "order and pickup." There were tables inside but each can only sit up to 2 people and then one bigger one by the door which can seat up to 4. There are a lot of outside sitting, which is better. There is much more a breeze outside! Cleanliness: Seemed clean. This place looks like it is fairly new. Food: -Hainan Chicken Rice - $14.50 - Poached chicken, rice, house made sauces, bone broth, pickled vegetables *This was good. I think the portion is just enough. The rice was very flavorful and the chicken was tender* -Sweet Chili Pork Ribs - $9.50 - Pork, spareribs with housemade sweet chili sauce *This was mediocre. The tendon was hard to chew. Normally I love to eat the tensor after devouring the meat, but this was impossible. The meat itself was tender and easy to bite off. I think this was way too sweet and no heat* - Spicy Cucumber Salad - $4.50 *Love this. I think it had a great heat to it and a great crunch!* Drinks: NA We got water. There is a big glass container with iced water to fill up. Cost: I felt like the cost for the Hainan Chicken plate was great. On the other hand, almost $10 for the spareribs seemed a bit pricey... Wait Times: No wait time, it was slow there. Jamba Juice next store had more business than this place! Parking: Tons of parking spaces here. Final Thoughts: This is a decent spot. The Hainan Chicken was great. I think a bit more sauce would have better. The a la cart meat seemed a bit pricey. I think since this place is fairly new, not a lot of people know about this. This is not anything special, but the Hainan chicken tasted very comforting to eat. I would like to try the fried chicken or even the Chinese chicken salad next time.

We ended up getting Mango Grahams, Pancit, Siomai and Popcorn Chicken. Before we placed the order, it was communicated clearly from the staff that there would be a wait (there were 3 parties ahead of us, and one of them was huge, so we kinda expected a wait anyways.) We also weren't in a rush and were willing to wait regardless, so that didn't really bother us. The Mango Grahams were exactly and more than we expected; definitely satiated my cravings. The food was also good and arrived in a reasonable manner. Again, we only wanted to check this place out because of the Mango Grahams, but we were surprised at how many other options they had for desserts, appetizers, food, and drinks. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I wouldn't mind the distance knowing the quality and options they have. Also, I briefly looked into this place before driving here, and I was expecting like a quick "boba store" environment, but it also has a sit down ambiance. Great for quick hang outs with friends or sit down meals with your family. Also, I'm specifically writing this review because of the staff. Given how busy they were, I want to recognize how friendly and welcoming they were. There were lots of orders, but they came out in an understandable amount of time, and the person in the front always had a smile of her face. She always communicated clearly and warmly about the waits, and was very accommodating to the customers. I can't wait to go back for more Mango Grahams (and also check out their other menu items!)
