The door to a great meal and experience..
    Arnesto S.

One of the best experiences I have had at an Outbacks. I was introduced to the Toomba sauce and just wow! Flavorful with shrimp, mushroom and sauce to die for. Now the accounting major Alex is one of those gem that is dedicated in whatever he does and, in my opinion, would be a very successful realtor. Just me! He convinced me to buy a dessert and I caved. There went my diet. Just a great experience and remember if we don't support your grubberies, we will both starve.

The food was good. Typical of what you would expect to get at an Outback Steakhouse. The waiter was very courteous. The staff were nice. The restaurant has nice lighting and seating. The reservations are NOT reservations. We had reservations for 5:30. Arrived at 5:15 and were told that the wait would be forty five minutes. I stood because the waiting area was jammed with people. I starred at an empty table inside the bar area for forty five minutes. I asked about the bar area seating and was told that it is regular seating. Go figure we sat at that very empty table. So that was unfortunate. Forty five minutes for an empty table. If you don't mind waiting this is the place for you.

Excellent service. In addition to our meals with had house salad and a Cesar salad as one of our sides. We each had a 6 oz sirloin, 2 were medium rare and one was medium. The medium steak was tough and had grizzle, the shrimp was cooked just fine. The other 2 steaks were good. The meal presentation left a lot to be desired. Especially the steak with the Alice Spring chicken. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu. To be fair I didn't get a baked potato, but the plate could have been wiped off and the meal could have been more balanced on the plate. It tasted fine just not pretty to look at. Overall it was a good meal. The other item I noticed was the chairs are starting to get a little wobbly. It's only a matter of time before a chair gives out on a customer. The meals were a 3, but the good service raised it up to a 4. We will go back, their salads are good, and the service is always friendly.

The appetizers are good. WARNING: every single entree we ordered was soooooooooo saulty, the grilled shrimps were completely raw. Really really disappointed

I had such a great dinner and experience at this Outback Steakhouse location with my girlfriend. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday night and there was about a 40 minute wait. We quickly realized that we should've called ahead to put our names on the list but we were fine waiting. The manager was walking around and very engaged asking people how long they were waiting and trying to get everyone seated as quickly as possible. Once seated, we had warm bread and drinks come out quickly. The blueberry lavender cocktail was absolutely DELICIOUS and only $7! We ordered the ribs appetizer which did take quite a while to come out. The manager came over to us to apologize about the wait and took it off the bill. The food also took a little while to come out but we were getting full off bread and apps so the time in between was helpful to be ready for the entrees. The steak and shrimp were delicious and well-seasoned. The bloomin onion chicken was also crispy and tasty. Overall we had a great time and the atmosphere was also very lively!

While my wife ordered a Saratoga Sparkling water ($4.99), I chose a can of Guinness ($6.75) after hearing the brief listing of drafts available. We also placed an order for the Italian Long Hot Peppers ($13.99) before we even thought about what we might choose for entrées. These peppers, stuffed with ricotta, sausage, red pepper, Romano and gorgonzola cheese, are finished with toasted Italian breadcrumbs and a balsamic glaze. They are so memorable that even though our last visit was 2 1/2 years ago we have no problem remembering to order them every time we dine here. Yes, they were as delicious as ever. My wife had a rare craving for steak and chose the 6 oz. Filet Marsala ($25.99) with angel hair and mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly to the requested medium-rare, it was tender, and very flavorful. The marsala sauce was also very tasty. My choice from the evening's special menu was the Shrimp Riggies ($24.99). The rigatoni was cooked perfectly as were the bay shrimp. A lightly cheesed sauce adhered nicely to the bell peppers, hot peppers, onions, shrimp, and pasta, adding additional flavor. I probably didn't need to accept the additional parmesan cheese on top when it was offered by our server. It's comforting to know we have such dependably good Italian food so close to home.

Another friend, Pam, had highly recommended Emma Jayne's Restaurant which is only a couple of traffic lights from Trader Joe's - a perfect location for our trip. The restaurant sits just north of Fred the Butcher (next door, literally) for those who frequent that establishment, on Route 9. There is off-street parking. When we arrived at 12:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, the front parking spaces were full. (Note: there may be parking around back; I didn't check) We thought we might have to wait for a table. Wrong! The restaurant is surprisingly spacious with two large rooms furnished with tables that were thoughtful spaced apart. A photo of an adorable young girl, whom we assumed was the dining establishment's namesake, was on the wall. Let me be sure to mention that the ladies room, which smelled faintly of bleach, was spotless. I mean REALLY clean! About the food ... my friend and I shared an appetizer of Fried Calamari. It was an ample portion (took some home) accompanied by sweet chili sauce - a nice change from typical marinara served at other places. However, the calamari was small and overcooked. As a result, what was presented was a plate of small, overly crisp rings of 90% batter. No squid! For our entrees, Barb chose the Chicken Salad Sandwich. She requested that it be served on a pretzel bun (touted as homemade) for which we were hit with an up-charge of $3.50. The chicken salad had grapes and walnuts in it and Barb liked it very much. The up-charged pretzel roll did not appear to be homemade. Very disappointing. Had she known it would be uninspiring, she would have accepted the brioche roll. Macaroni salad - not very exciting - accompanied the sandwich along with a pickle. I love seafood and was torn between ordering the Fish and Chips (halibut) and Lobster Pot Pie (an appetizer). Our server, Drew, gets a gold star for suggesting the second one when I told him I wasn't a big eater. Apparently, the halibut, while highly recommended, is a sizable portion. The pot pie was superb! The rich, creamy sauce was divine. I couldn't eat it all and will enjoy the rest of it for lunch today. Emma Jayne's menu has something for everyone. Our server, Drew, was informative and attentive. While we may make other food choices (skip the calamari and pretzel bun but keep the pot pie), we will definitely return.

Similarly, the garlic mayo was excellent and it helped elevate the burger. In addition, the bun was fresh and enjoyable. My only problem with the burger was that the caramelized onions were undercooked. However, the burger was still very good. In like manner, the fries were pretty tasty as well. The siracha mayo gave the tacos just the right amount of spice, and don't let it fool you being listed on the appetizers menu, because it is a whole meal in itself.
