First, we have been to Outback before, and while it wasn't super, it wasn't anything to get excited about. Today, we went to a newer location. The service was great, but the food was dreadful. I ordered a 15 Oz ribeye that looked like a chicken friend steak that was run over by a steamroller and tasted much the same. I have never sent food back before until now. I replaced the order with a burger instead, which took another 10+ minutes to come out on a "priority order." It was bland. I like to eat and rarely don't finish a meal. This was also a first for me. I ordered 2 entrees and both were quite sad for such a storied restaurant. 3 stars simply for the service Stefany provided, and the manager tried to make it right by giving us a 25% discount. We decided to come here for dinner tonight to enjoy a nice meal, food was alright other then half cold Mac and cheese that came out 20 minutes after the meal was served and a very crispy filet. We had called the manager over about the steak and we were basically blown off about our concerns. After finishing the meal we waited around for 15-20 minutes and our server came out and told us that a mix up had taken place with our card and another tables and it would take a minute for him to fix it. He came out and gave the wrong check to the other table as we watched it all happen and then proceeded to come to our table and lie blatantly to our faces that none of this even happened and then stood over us as we signed our check to leave. My son, and two grandsons went for dinner at 5:00 at the Outback Steakhouse on North Freeway. It was easy to see it was newly opened, and Longhorn Steakhouse was further down the road. We were seated immediately, and Darien R. was our waiter. As I was there first, he asked me if I wanted something to drink, and I had the strawberry lemonade, which had whole strawberries in it. My son and grandsons all had steak, appetizers, and the chocolate dessert. The food was very good, and there was little left to put in the boxes to go. I must say I was really impressed by the attention by Darien, and even the manager, Becky, walking by to ask if we were satisfied. Darien had to wait on several items and kept us updated. The food was cleared quickly and he was extremely attentive to our needs. Our excursion will surely become a weekly occurrence, and I encourage anyone who enjoys Outback to try this new restaurant. Horrible experience here ! Came in on a Tuesday 7 pm wait was 20 mins got sat waited and waited and waited finally our waitress showed up!!! Wow! She took our order ...... didn't see her again I had to go ask the hostess twice if I needed to wait my own table and go get my drinks ! A sweet waitress from another table asked us if we were ok and another table behind us even said " I hope your waitress shows up I'm sorry " finally our drinks came out and what do you know we had the wrong drink ! We finally had it we asked to give us the bill for the appetizer we did get and we asked for the manager . I've eaten at outback before... so I expected really good service and they did not disappoint, our young female hostess "Rocky" was very gracious and accommodating I ordered a Chardonnay it was a bit too cold but otherwise good,my date order a mixed cocktail but I'm not quite sure of the name she was pleased with it.. I do know ahead strawberries in it... and...as expected the food was really good, For an appetizer we ordered by recommended of the hostess... the fry mushrooms which were really great, I ordered the bone in ribeye meal (medium well)with a baked potato and asparagus and my date ordered a surf and turf type meal (medium well) I'm not sure what it was actually called on the menu tho. For dessert we ordered by recommendation the hostess the cheesecake with raspberry drizzle ,it was not quite Cheesecake Factory quality.. but it was still a good cheesecake. We had a great time...and we definitely will be returning to this location to eat again. read more

I do not recommend Outback for a night out, any reservation, event, special event or even lunch. Management was horrible about my reservation for 12 made a month in advance for my twin's graduation celebration with family and friends. When we arrived we were directed to high top tables directly in front of the bar. Never was I asked or told we would be required to sit at high chairs and tables or in the bar. I HAD GRANDPARENTS WHO WERE PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO CLIMB INTO THOSE HIGH CHAIRS! When I asked to be moved they rudely refused unless we wanted to wait two hours! Eventually we were seated at two booths with a table pushed up to one. It wasn't much of a celebration since we were all separated. I don't even have pictures of everyone together! I spoke to the manager and did not even receive an apology. They did not care that they ruined a once in a lifetime celebration. Do not waste your time and money, and especially don't risk your special event being spoiled by this place. Oh, yeah, service was slow and steaks were undercooked. read more

Best Outback ever!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!! Bring your family and friends!!!!!

First and last visit. We went for Father's Day. 4 out of our 6 meals were wrong. 3 steaks undercooked and not just in a minor level. Bringing out rare for a steak ordered well done makes zero sense. Gave a kid a medium rare burger that was ordered well done. The prime rib was not edible it was so under and I actually like a medium rare rib. We had to ask for our sides as 10 minutes after the meal, they still had not been brought out. Fries tasted like they were fried yesterday. One person got her drink after the meal. A manager came over to ask how we were and we let her know about all the steaks cooked wrong. She said "oh" and walked away. Clearly disinterested. Did not get her name but it was noon on Fathers Day and she had very short blonde/white hair. Our server Shontell could have done more to at least make sure we got everything we ordered but clearly was not wanting to be there on that day. Also the bathroom had no toilet paper. Not sure how this happens when you only have been open 2 hours. But it starts with management caring. That restaurant was not busy enough for all these mishaps. One bad meal happens but 4, not okay. In hindsight I should not have paid for this but also it is the job of management to try to make it right once they are aware of issues and they missed the mark. read more

First, let me say that I have not been to Outback in a long time, as the town I live in doesn't have one. I was anticipating a great steak meal, and we were very disappointed!! We ordered a blooming onion which was good, but very greasy! My grandson and I both ordered the 8 oz sirloin with grilled shrimp. Our steak was so tough, you literally had to saw it with a steak knife to cut a bite off!!! I ordered my steak medium, and it was cooked well done. Our server had another one cooked supposedly medium again, but it was rare, with a lot of fat, and tough. At that point, I was not sending anything back. My son got an 8oz. filet, with no complaints, except small baked potato. The bill was $116.00, so I paid and left! I left a fair tip for our server, Amberness, who was great! If I ever go to another Outback steak house , it will definitely not to this location on N. Freeway in Ft. Worth. There are many other steakhouses that would have better quality food!! read more

This was our first time at this location as we normally go to a different Outback. The hostess was very friendly and our waiter was very good. He hustled the entire night from table to table. We both ordered Cesar salads. My salad lacked the Parmesan, so I sent it back which was corrected. Meal came- my shrimp was barely cooked and the Alfredo had very little cream mixed in. My husbands Alice Springs Chicken had no mushrooms and the baked potato came out dry (he ordered with everything on it). The waiter did correct the order. The table next to us had multiple issues throughout the night with their food order. Obviously, the kitchen staff needs additional training as they have a ways to go at this location. Hopefully, this location just had an off night otherwise they'll lose customers that normally go to their other locations. read more

Don't go to the Outback @ N. Fort Worth - Alliance if you wish to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your meal! The food and service has always been good here, until last night! After my mom and I had each had ONE alcoholic beverage, the manager, Zia came over and approached us in a VERY aggressive manner to tell us he wasn't going to continue serving alcohol if we weren't going to order food (had a half eaten bloomin onion and loaf of bread in front of us and fully intended on ordering steaks). We had told our waitress, Ramona that we wanted to take our time and enjoy and at the time she seemed completely fine with it. At first, I assumed he thought we weren't ordering food, and I told him we had planned to but we liked to enjoy the dining experience and not have appetizers and the main course at the same time. He literally put his fists on my table and got in my face and told me Outback was a family establishment and they weren't interested in serving ladies alcohol to get drunk. Again - ONE beverage each at this point (and we hadn't been drinking all day, in fact I spent the day in the ER with my niece and my mom spent the day taking care of my grandfather, so this is the ONLY alcohol we had all day). Ramona, the server had evidently reported us to the manager, saying my mom was slurring her words. First of all, no she wasn't. Second of all, my mom is half deaf, so she may have misspoken or not spoken 100% clearly - excuse her for having a disability! I literally thought we were being pranked and I asked if they were joking. The manager informed me he was absolutely not joking at that at this point, we were cut off! WHAT?! Having nothing to do with the alcohol (again -only one drink each at this time), there are FAR better ways to approach paying customers. Maybe just observe for a moment or two, because if he had instead of coming at me and getting in my face, he would've clearly seen that neither of us were even remotely intoxicated! As he was pounding his fists on my table, they brought the second drink I had ordered (hilarious). I literally laughed and said, "uh, you can take that one back and also remove it from my tab". I told him we wouldn't be back and he said "perfectly fine, ma'am, we don't need you here". Wow. Ok. Well, RAMONA - you missed out on what would've probably been at least a 30% tip, because I'm always generous when I take up a server's table for an extended period of time and am appreciative of those in the service industry. I will give credit to the other manager, Megan - who at least apologized for the way we were treated and took care of our tab. She asked us to come back and let her know if we do, but honestly - I felt attacked and I'll even go as far as to say discriminated against and wouldn't feel comfortable going back as long as Zia and Ramona are employed there. There were two other tables that were being served by Ramona at the time - one of which was served a BOARD of SHOTS along with other alcohol they had on their table and the other a bottle of wine. Interestingly, there weren't any white people at those tables. Maybe because we were the only white ladies in her section? Not sure, but one thing I am sure about - I'll spend my money with Alyssa down the road at Longhorn Steakhouse from now on. read more

This place is new, so we decided to try. The wait wasn't to bad, but the hostess was sitting people that were walking in instead of those that have been there and signed up on the waiting list. Got to our table and waiter took our order and drinks at 7:00 and we received our drinks and appetizers but no main course. The waiter had no courtesy to come and inform us of our order and then finally comes out and ask if we are gonna won't a refill. Mind u we still haven't received or food why wouldn't we want a refill. 8:30 comes around finally waiter comes to our table to inform us that our order some how got deleted. Why didn't u come and inform us earlier. Not a good waiter at all! No apologies or anything, but wasn't hesitant to take our credit card to pay for the appetizer and sweet tea. And then the hostess had the nerve to tell us that it would probably be best to come in the morning when they are not to busy. Well, it has been 20 years since I have gone to Outback, now I remember why. Flavorless. Nothing more can be said about their steaks. How can you be a steakhouse and have such poorly tasting meat? It really is a disservice to the poor steers that were processed to provide them with beef. I see now why they push steak sauce so hard, the steaks are cooked from fridge to grill. This method leaves the fat hard and unrendered, the tendons cannot release and allow the steak be tender. I purchased the smoked porterhouse, and it came out with a smoke dome, doesn't do anything for flavor though, just theatrics. Honestly, it will be 20 years if ever that I pass through the doors of this steakhouse again. In the end, it was lack luster at best, I ended up bringing most of the meat home, cubing it up, adding seasoning to it, something it was very lacking, and made it into breakfast tacos (which was a much better use for this steak) and at least in the end, it made a decent meal, just not at the restaurant. read more

Normally I don't actually write reviews or give five stars simply because there is always room for improvement, however I feel this Outback is definitely better than the three stars it has. My family eats out quite often and we were very impressed with the service and the food. We were seated in the bar area per our request. Our waiter was Darien, also bartender, who greeted us promptly. We had a couple of questions and he provided a few recommendations which proved to be excellent. As we were waiting on our order a very friendly manager (sorry I don't remember his name) checked on us as well. We ordered a filet mignon, prime rib seared, and sirloin and coconut shrimp with our chosen sides. All three steaks were cooked to perfection and flavorful. The sides were excellent. The macaroni and cheese was awesome! We also ordered Colossal Tots appetizer which was very good and different. Every single employee that we encountered was friendly. Every food item was good. The restaurant was clean, as well as the restrooms. Darien was a very attentive and thoughtful waiter. We will be back and I hope people actually read the reviews. We opt not to have phones out when dining so no pictures...sorry. read more

I love the Outback in my home town so when this one finally opened I was super excited. When we first arrived we waited about 5 minutes or so for the hostess and when she addressed she says, "We close in 20 minutes" I responded "ok" she says "Do you still want to be seated?" I reply yes and she takes us to our seats. Our waitress was Sky. She was very nice and attentive. There was an issue with my bread and butter. The butter I received looked as if it came from someone else's table and also tasted like ONION. When I spoke to the manager he stated it was because of it being in the fridge with everything else. Yet, I was brought a replacement bread and honey butter that did not in fact, taste like onion. Also, the first butter was a bit melted and the other, as expected from butter straight from the fridge, was stiff and cold. Our entrees were great though. They were hot, fresh, and tasty. read more
