First time here for dinner. Service was excellent, our waiter was polite and attentive. To start, we decided to get the Bloomin' Onion. When it arrived, it looked absolutely amazing and made for a great presentation on the table! Unfortunately, eating it was a different story. It was just far too oily and heavy for us. We found it so greasy that we could only eat about half of it before we had to stop. For our main courses, we ordered the Brisbane Caesar Salad topped with Salmon and the Grilled Chicken on the Barbie. The presentation on both looked nice, the salad was piled high with plenty of toppings, and the chicken came with a side of mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli. However, both were just okay, nothing spectacular. The atmosphere was nice and clean. We'll come back next time, but we will try something completely different! read more

We went out to the Outback in Ocean City, MD on June 9th at 6:45 PM to enjoy a meal at one of our favorite restaurants. Started out good, the host said that it would be 5 to 10 min to be seated. Then after 35 min we heard two customers complain that they were missed. He quickly seated them. I asked the host if he had missed us and he replied that he called our name three times. Without any apologies or offers to seat us relatively soon, we left. Ruined our night. Obviously, this guy does not belong in this position. He mumbles customer's names, we were sitting only 6 feet away from his host desk and stared at him when he called names. Anyway, this is for the Outback's FYI for what it's worth. read more

My wife and I live around the corner from this place . We have been there many times except for the last 3 Years . We decided to check back . The service is excellent . The food comes out too fast as we are still eating one course when the next course comes out . The Salad use to be an event and now it's barely noticeable . Let me tell you a story! It begins with waiting. My family and I waited about five minutes before were greeted at this Outback location. We attempted to be positive as our server was nice. Next, came the broken glass. One of our glasses was literally cracked at the top, which we noticed as the server put the glasses on our table. I can't understand how this was missed. This is when we should've walked out and went to somewhere else, but the story continues on. We waited. And waited. Then, waited some more. We waited so long I began to count the number of flies flying around the area we were seated in. Finally, the food arrives. We waited for close to 30 minutes. The food was Outback food (the wings and Alice Springs chicken were good), but this is the most disappointing Outback location I've ever visited. I hope this location can get it together. read more

We visited OC on May 2,2026 with a party of 4 we all ordered tea however we had a party of 2 next to our party. We sat at bar thinking better one on one service, however this was not the case the party of two said drink slow service is not good. Waitress returned and thinking I would help her I asked would she mind to set a pitcher of tea on the bar she said absolutely not. One of our patriots asked if she could get party of two a drink she then came unglued Mocking why you try do my job. The patriot of the two asked to speak to her Supervisor she mocked him slamming bottles into trash as yelling for her Supervisor. Supervisor report to the customer and I heard him say I do not want anything free or a reduction in my bill you just need to know what kind of waitress you have. Waitress now goes walking by him mocking him at that time supervisor spoke up and told her that was not acceptable. The party I was with felt that we could not trust her as a waitress for us and our safety so we decided it was best for us to leave we did approach supervisor and let her know we would pay for our drinks but she said no it is fine. I am sure I don't need to givel any advice of how to handle situation but I work in the public eye and this really went against my grain. Order some sort of steak and ribs for pick up with fries and a salad. So over $40 and got a massed produced half rack of ribs tasteless steak ( but I could have paid extra for flavored butter $3 or mushrooms $4 i didn't see anything about charging for salt and pepper) fries were like Wendy's fries good had to ask for ketchup, salad came with one little container of salad dressing that made 1/4 of the salad etable. I mentioned all this and management was pointing out that they don't charge extra for olives in their martini but $3 for flavored butter to make the steaks taste good or may $4 for mushrooms is just fine. You best bet is to drive up 113 to that Texas place, salads are great with begging for extra anything- don't know if they charge extra for flavored meat. read more

Yesterday I went to Outback Steakhouse in Ocean City. I ordered the 3 course meal for $18.99 which included a salad, entree (grilled chicken on the Barbie and baked potato) and dessert. The first bite of the chicken was so over seasoned that I couldn't eat it and I immediately asked the waitress to take it back. The waitress didn't hesitate, she immediately handled the situation and the manager came over, refunded my money and gave me another entree. I could not ask for better customer service! The food however was substandard. Try at your own risk. If you have any medical conditions like high blood pressure you might want to think twice before eating here. Located right near OC's outlets and with ample parking. We were craving some steak for dinner so why not try Outback? Honestly I haven't visited many of their locations. The hostess was friendly and sat us right away. For appetizers, we got the blue cheese pecan salad and coconut fried shrimp. It hit the spot! As for our main course we both ordered the ribeye steak with baked potatoes, broccoli, and fries for the sides. The steaks were cooked perfectly medium. Our server was friendly and attentive. We reserved a time slot online for 4pm and when we came in the two girls were arguing about their side work and it was awkward while we waited for them to decide who would seat us. We sat at a table surrounding the bar and it was unbearably hot. We asked if the temperature could be cooler which they responded no. It seemed like our two steaks took forever but was exactly 32 minutes. I ordered mine medium and it came out perfect but my baked potatoe was cold. My daughter ordered hers medium well and it was cooked to death. The bartender who waited on us was nice and attentive but the rest of the experience wasn't. Outback is one of our favorite restaurants, so we decided to eat here while on vacation. We always order the hot wings, which came out super fast. The French onion soup was also tasty. I ordered the Alice Springs Chicken which was not good at all. They must have started putting on a new seasoning. It was awful. I couldn't eat it. It is advertised on the menu to have mushrooms, which of course did not make it onto the plate. Overall, I thought my dinner was horrible but the appetizers were great. Luckily, the server was nice of enough to remove it from the bill. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night. A little loud at times, but it was fine. read more

This is an Outback Steakhouse. Is it cutting edge cuisine made with ingredients I've never heard of or bread ground with flour in a German mill using a centuries old secret stone? No, but my kids well eat it happily, and absolutely no one has ever been disappointed with a blooming Onion. The black bread and sweet butter are amazing-every tavern where my DnD adventuring party meets up gets this on their table. It's subtly adventurous yet totally wholesome. My husband, who's a bit of a food snob, says their wines are decent and their steaks are predictably good. What more do you want? My beach lunch was covered in sand, and I had to fight off gulls while cowering in fear that I'd be trampled by a pony. Outback was just the air-conditioned respite I needed. My eight year old sat in beach-induced coma and actually consumed things that weren't beige. That's winning in my book. read more

My daughter and I are in Ocean City for a dance competition. It is our first night and we wanted something familiar so Outback it was. It was so delightful. We were seated right away. John S was our server and I do hope he reads/sees this. He shared with us he and his wife are teachers and working at Outback during the summer months. He mentioned he is new at it and I could tell he wanted things to go well under his watch. He was attentive, friendly, and, while I wasn't upset that my meal came out a few minutes after my daughter's (The chili I ordered wasn't available hence the delay) he was apologetic. I realize that living in the age of Covid that there is a shortage of wait staff and other staff at restaurants these days so I try to take that into consideration. Even so, it was mid-afternoon on a Saturday during the off-season. The parking lot was nowhere near full ( a good thing) but there was still a 20-minute wait to be seated. They were only using half the restaurant for food services and, of course, the bar. We went for Victoria's filet - my wife went medium well and I went medium. The steaks themselves were a little bit too charred on the outside for my taste but, overall, the steaks were good. The sweet potato was nicely baked and the asparagus (for a $2.00 add-on!!!!) was well roasted. The waitress (Casey) was very nice and attentive and competent so that was a big plus. I'm going to the four-star rating because the place was nice (but looking a little long in the tooth) and clean, the service was good, the food was also good. I'm not a big fan of waiting but I guess that's part of the Outback experience. Sometimes I think that if you were the only customer in there they'd make you wait because it's expected. read more

Stopped here on vacation on the way from Walmart. We are a party of 5 so there was a little wait. No more than 15-20 minutes. After being seated our waiter Brandon was the absolute best. He had recommendations on food selections that was great. Our food came out hot and tasty. Brandon made sure we had everything we needed. I took my daughter there for her birthday. I asked for medium well for my steak. Came out bloody. Sent it back to cook it the way I wanted it. Cut into it again Blood still came out onto my plate.
