This place never lets me down. I love love LOVE their French fries and burgers. Great place to take kids as well. Whenever I leave the Outback Steakhouse, I'm happy and full. The staff is always really helpful and nice. They even have water for you when you first get in so you won't be thirsty while you're waiting. Great place. I recommend it to everyone. read more

I go to the Palm Coast Outback at least once a week. I have never had a bad experience with the food or service. Mas and Mike are the best bartenders. Very attentive and friendly. Dana is also attentive and is always checking with the guests to make sure everything is good. Zach, the manager, is great and also checks in with the customers. You will not be disappointed if you visit for dinner or just cocktails. read more

We went to the bar, we were completely ignored,we left.The place was practically empty, now I know why.

Just a fyi went to outback here in pc last night with husband and good friends. we called ahead for seating.. This doesnt matter as you still wait. My husbands steak was raw order med. we were almost done when his finally came. Owner came over and said he was sorry for delay,, so that was ok.. However at no time was the dinner dishes taken away even while we had dessert. I find that to be be unacceptable. All in all quite disappointing read more

I had a good dinner there last night. Typical Outback quality food which is nice to rely on when traveling and want to stop for a decent meal. Service was a little slower than the usual fast pace of Outback, but the staff was very pleasant. read more

I had a bad experience ordering to go this past weekend, one girl in a colored hoodie took the order, then I waited longer than I was quoted. Another girl in a hoodie gave me the order, I was missing silverware and extra sauces. Very confusing everyone is in different colors. Was not sure if it was workers or customers waiting. ON THURSDAY 2/14/19;My husband took me to outback for Valentine's day dinner as a treat .Wow was I ever disappointed in the food .I ordered chicken & shrimp linguine with Alfredo sauce .I began to eat the shrimp when my mouth started to burn from the spices on it ,so tried the chicken even hotter the pasta was also seasoned with this spicy ingredient .I called waitress and she said well Outback is Cajun .Really !!! I thought it was based on Australia theme . At this point I really do not feel like eating anymore as my taste buds are now still burning .I was told it was a spice only on the shrimp & chicken so I tried to eat the pasta to find out not true it was also very spicy. The waitress told me they started something new with the spices and kicked it up a bit .No compensation for this terrible dinner and it NOWHERE on the menu say's spicy or hot food .So I will not be returning to Outback as there are many better restaurants in the area that have better food & service . read more

Saw the commercial Steak and Lobster, decided to go. Our family is here on vacation, got dressed up and went thinking we would have a wonderful evening. The server must have been new. Got the drink order wrong and brought 1 loaf of bread for the table. Someone else brought our food to the table. My husbands steak was medium well, he ordered medium rare. His lobster was not cooked and I ordered shrimp and fries and got a plate of shrimp. Waited for our server for several minutes to tell him I didn't get the fries. My husband then told him his meal was not right. Server said he'd take care of it. After several more minutes, we were all done eating and my husband still had no food. The manager brought him a whole new meal. He ordered a 9oz steak and she brought him a 6oz steak this time! Finally suffered through the experience to get the check and they had both meals on the total. Waited again for the server and pointed out the mistake. He said he'd take care of it, brought a new check and they charged us for the 9oz steak that we sent back! We watched 2 other tables complain and send their food back as well. Don't even get me started on the ladies room!! No soap in dispenser and 2 broken toilets! Do not eat here!!!! read more

Horrible experience got there 15 minutes before it opened and was seated 5 minutes later an hour and a half later my food was not at the table still. Waitress was ignorant and rude about everything. As well as the manager he actually expected us to want to take boxed food home and pay for it even tho it was not fresh and it would have been reheated. I love the chain, but after being away for a decade, the service at this location is STILL disappointing. I joined family for dinner on a Sunday night, so we anticipated a wait, which only ended up being MAYBE 5 minutes. Great! But then we got to the table. It took 20-30 minutes for her to remember to bring the bread. She took our drink orders and disappeared even though we were ready to order. She forgot to bring the soups and salads, which made the already long wait feel longer. Another waitress brought us our main course, and she was apologetic and volunteered to get that manager. The massager proceeded to assure us that she'd take care of the extra, but we didn't want them because we just wanted to enjoy the main course. 2 Of us ordered broccoli & cheese, which was cold. When I had to ask for a refill on my water (we'd been there an hour) I watched her leave and return to other tables multiple times. I finally caught the manager's attention, and she walled a few steps away to get an ice water pitcher that'd been sitting there the whole time. My waitress walked up with a fresh glass + lemon just as the manager walked away. Not HORRIBLE or mean or rude or food poisoning, just disappointing. read more

Got here at 6pm, was told a 40 min wait. Ok. Normal, its fathers day. After being told time after time we are waiting on one table and watching GROUPS walking out by 7pm, we were in at 7:15pm. This was after being told, you are the next table for about 30mins. So we are seated, there are 15 of us, but seating is 12 so some of us are waiting for the other table to get wiped. We sat around for another 10 mins or so while a disgruntled blonde wiped off tables. We went ahead with our drink orders but decided to order apps and dinner at the same time so that we weren't waiting forever. We got a bloomin onion in about 10 mins. Then a loaded fries app about 10 mins later then waited for 20 mins for drinks and i am talking water, tea, and coke. The waitress is obviously not having a good time at this point. She did do a good job btw, she was somewhat pissed about something, but when she had something, she brought it to us. Not why we were eating salty onions and fries without drinks though. Why do you wait 20 mins for regular drinks AFTER the apps arive? The manager came by several times but offered no solution. Her response was can we get the kids fed faster maybe? So then we get food. Three of the steaks were mouth watering tender and cooked PERFECTLY. Two of them were medium when supposed to be medium rare. Still tasted great but for 30$ a steak, c'mon. Salads are getting smaller out Outback people so be ready for that, this isn't the same restaurant so be warned. I hadn't been in 10 years and this was a different thing. Same bread, but the salad is like this little plate. Leetle. Then we are done and waiting for another 20 mins for a check. THIS IS A POORLY RUN OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

Outback is a franchise restaurant, understood. But on the occasions I have eaten there I was never disappointed. And this trip holds true except for a few minor quirks. DON'T take the booth to the extreme right and toward to the back of the restaurant. There behind your booth you will find the kitchen. Now, I have eaten next to many kitchens....some racous some you could here a pin drop. This one was the former. i thought I was at a college pep rally replete with expletives and high octane phreomones and testosterone flowing freely. The appetizers were brought out quickly ( shrimp were delicious) and T.J. our server was on point without the usual over the top fake friendliness that you sometimes get at these establishments. The main course however was long in coming and my steak was dry to the point I had to drown it in A-1 sauce ( sorry I don't return food to the kitchen if not totally an ergregious error). My lady ordered smothered chicken that came with bacon on it. She doesn't eat pork. Which was graciously whisked away and replaced faster than the original order....hmmm. Typical chain restaurant food in a chain restaurant, which means there was nothing remarkable about it at all. The steaks were overdone and the broccoli was underdone. The only reason we went there was because the family couldn't agree on anywhere else and thought this was a safe choice. I am from Connecticut and outback is one of my favorite restaurants. This one made me want to get up and walk out after one bite. First I asked for steak well done. When I got it it was practically still mooing. So bloody inside. Then it had no flavor. Same with the mashed potatoes. I had to add so much salt & pepper for the first time ever there. I was very disappointed to go back here the other day and find out that they no longer have wild rice. They've changed a lot of menu items. I used to get the teriyaki fillet medallions, and when I got them this time the white onions had morphed into red onions (that do not compliment teriyaki) and the rice that came with them was "Parmesan rice"! In other words, they changed a pretty light dinner into something heavy, and they changed the perfect light steak dinner into something rather gross, to be honest. The wild rice used to compliment the steak perfectly. Plus, the teriyaki tasted different, as though they'd changed how even the steak was prepared. Very disappointed. We have no plans to return again. This used to be our lite and nice place. The changed menu has removed all incentive for us to go. read more

Tried the Palm Coast Outback to see if there were any changes..... Nope, same bad service and same bad food. How do you screw up cookie cutter steak from a chain? Palm Coast figures it out, by making a tasteless leathery signature steak. Service? I guess if you like bad attitudes, pony on up to the bar, plenty of sad faces with attitude. As far as the quality of drinks, try watching the bartender refill a wine bottle from a craft and ponder if you are getting the same recycled swill from the bottom rung drink list (BTW, refilling bottles is a no no in the State of Florida - State beverage may be interesting in writing a little article on this outback). Overall second sad experience in the last six months at this particular Outback. Have been to several in TN and also visit the Daytona stores with no problems Mate. Steer clear of the Palm Coast franchise until the Manager wises up or gets the boot down under. Next time we will drive to Daytona if we 'git a hank'rin for some raw hide'. Received my medium rare $19.45 steak well done on one side and almost rare on the other. Sent it back. Receive my second steak. Rare. By this time my dinner companion is almost done with his meal. Wait 10 minutes for my waitress to check on us. Stop another waitress to find our waitress. Finally get a steak I think the manager had to cook. My dinner companion is done with his meal. Hear the people at the table behind us complaining about their steak. Waitress still not checked on us. Needless to say, not a great experience. read more

I would give a one, but I am basing this review on tonight's experience alone. Other times I've enjoyed this place. We went to Outback for my birthday dinner. I'm guessing we had an inexperienced server, but the rest of the waitstaff should help that person until he gets the job down if that is the case. We were happy to get a seat immediately. Our waiter took our drink order right away, which was good. However, he didn't remember to get me the water I asked for with my drink, but I could live with that. At no time were we given the usual brown bread and butter. We ordered a bloomin onion, which was supposed to be free. We were pleased to find that out. Then several other groups were seated and all got their bread and bloomin onions. Then they got second appetizers. After awhile we got our drinks. We sat there drinking on an empty stomach. So, I asked if he could bring us some bread. "Sure." Still we waited. He came out and brought other people stuff. Still we had nothing but our drinks. I was getting hungry, so we left a ten on the table and headed for somewhere that would give us some food, Ruby Tuesday. It was really good. read more
