I ordered curbside to go, I tried to order online, but by the time I completed the order, it timed me out... I had to go in to place my order... I requested the grilled asparagus and was told there were none available. The young lady taking the order went on to say, actually we have no more vegetables available. I requested the stuffed mushrooms, hot wings and fries. I returned to my hotel room, unpacked my bag... Surprise, surprise, surprise - no stuffed mushrooms, I received fried mushrooms, normally found on a steak, a handful of fries and some starved pieces of chicken. If I could give less stars I definitely would. I WAS a loyal customer, having had the pleasure to once work here I fell in love with the food. It has gone down hill. Every time I have ordered (last 4 orders) either temp of steak, incorrect side items, completely missing items, something was wrong. I had it delivered and was missing an entire meal! Then today was the last straw! I placed a to-go order due to not wanting to risk the covid-19 ect. I placed it 3+ hours ahead of time. The call me 20 mins prior to my pick up time to tell me they have none of the side items for my different meals! No apology no let get you a dessert for the inconvenience nothing! And let me add I was speaking to the manager named Terry! I ended up canceling the order and it would have been ok but due to their lack of communication until the last minute all the other restaurants were done taking new orders! As I said 3+ hours prior I could have chosen another place for my birthday celebration dinner! Epic fail on their part. Lost a loyal guest and fan! read more

Overall an Average Outback experience. Outback never really impresses but usually provides what you expect. A blooming Onion will always be fried goodness basically anywhere. The bread is yummy and the waiter brought it without having to be badgered. I had a Ribeye and it was cooked to Med as requested. Yay! If Olive Garden is the reliable McDonalds of Italian Outback remains the McDonalds of Steak houses. Service usually makes it a 2 star or three and todays service was good. read more

My first visit to Outback was in 1992 in Columbus, GA. Since then, I have eaten at various Outbacks at least a couple hundred times. With only a few exceptions, food and service have been consistently good. That all changed with my visit to this Salisbury, NC location. This would be my worst Outback experience. There were 3 of us, and we all ordered the Outback special steak, and we all ordered them medium. I ordered the 9-oz; the other two in my party ordered the 6-oz. steaks. I also ordered a gin martini. The meal started downhill from there. The martini was very small with one olive on a toothpick. Outback martinis have previously been served with 3 large olives. Either Outback is cutting corners, or they considered that 3 olives would overwhelm this small drink. It was also so weak, I could not taste the gin. It was almost like vermouth flavored water. The server came back to ask if I wanted another martini. I responded "no" because that one was very weak. She said that she could have the bartender make me a double. I have drunk many martinis and have never heard of a double martini. The steaks arrived, and the server gave my 9-oz to another member of my party, which I had to correct. ALL of our steaks were raw on the inside. I mean really raw, not red or pink, but raw and cool. They were not close to being cooked medium. And, for the first time I can remember, these Outback steaks were tough and flavorless. The server arrived after I had a couple of bites left. I told her that these steaks were more like rare. Her response was she could send it back to be recooked. Well, that would have worked, if she bothered to check before we were nearly finished the meal. Yes, Outback is a chain and Yes some are better than others. I personally think this one is pretty darn good. We have visited this Outback three times, each time the service has been great, each server is willing to help you even if they aren't your server. On this particular visit we ordered cocktials and because our server, Steven, was a bit busy the bartender brought our drinks to us instead of letting them sit until he was available to get them himself. When he saw our drinks had arrived he stopped to ask if we liked them. Sometimes my husband and I get a steak and Lobster(or shrimp) and split it, plus a salad. Whenever we have done this they always put the salad on two different plates, always remember to bring an extra plate when the entree arrives and never give us a hard time about it. Our food is always pretty good, nothing extra special but always cooked the right way and very tasty. If the service was bad and food ok, or food good and service crappy I would not have given Outback 4 stars but a combination of the overall experience is what earns this Outback 4 stars. read more

I'm a huge fan of Outback Steakhouse. I go to them quite often. I always get the wings, and order them just the flats without a problem. For some reason this location like to up charge for request such as this. It seems dumb but it pretty much ruined my experience. Usually Outback is great but they were busy tonight so we opted to order take out online. Probably the first mistake. Said the order would take 45 minutes. Arrived after 45 minutes. Paid for the food immediately. Far very single vehicle AFTER us got there food before us. Waited an additional 30 minutes and finally got our food and it wasn't even hot. Disaster as always when we come up from Florida every year, but it was better then the last visit. We asked for a unseasoned blooming onion, came out drenched in grease and loaded with seasoning, new one came out perfect !!! Everyone ordered steaks 2 out of 5 came out correctly Send back two 1 was still raw and the other was cooked to perfection. Had everything wrapped up and went home It made for awesome steak and eggs this morning The manager did take care of us by comping 1/2 the dinner. We'll give it another go around next year. Since Longhorn has stopped selling prime rib, I was really looking forward to be able to get it at Outback. We were seated in the bar area and the bartender was our server. She was very prompt at taking our orders, but it quickly went downhill. It took 15 minutes to get our salads because the restaurant got busy and now our server had to tend bar. We finally got our salads and by this time we needed drink refills and none were offered. Finally, a manager-type came by and got our refills. Our meals finally came out. My prime rib was medium rare, dry as a bone, chewy and cold. I couldn't get anyone's attention to send it back. I ate what I could and brought it home. What a huge disappointment! Then we split a chocolate Thunder from Down Under which was 8.99. What a ridiculous price from a tiny warm brownie with ice cream and warm chocolate. I now remember why we don't go to Outback. My family was NOT happy to hear about the lack of soda with carbonation when we came here to dine. This started a major fight between my nephew, my sister and my mother & really should have been told to us by the waiter before drinks were ordered and food was ordered. To assuage my nephew, my mother had to take him to the nearby O'Charleys so he could have a beverage with carbonation (your Southerners and especially your teenagers and their soda). My sister was also quite peeved about this lack of soda. The food was okay; not particularly special or spectacular from my experience in the restaurant. The server was also kind enough to remove the sodas ordered before we were told they'd be flat that were initially charged to us until my sister (or maybe my mother) spoke up. Not my best experience nor my worst experience at an Outback. This one is located smack in the middle of restaurant row in Salisbury so they may want to up their game on stuff like having ample soda for the clientele (this is not NYC or some area where most people drink tap water). read more

1. SERVICE: I sat at the bar and was told I could have dinner at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant. I ordered a Canadian Club Manhattan (not an unusual drink), The bartender did not know how to make a manhattan. She had to consult with someone else who told me they did not have Canadian Club. Ended up with Crown Royal Manhattan that was not very good. The bartender was more interested in chatting with her friends than waiting on customers. I had to ask twice for sauce that was supposed to be included with my entree. There were only 3 people at the bar. She seemed more interested in selling upgrades than taking care of the customers or learning to be a professional bartender/ waitperson (this seems to be more of a reflection of the Outback philosophy rather than a fault of the server). FOOD: The prime rib was low quality beef (hard to cut, hard to chew). The quality has gone down over the years. It was $25., which is too much for low grade beef. While the atmosphere was what you expect of an Outback, it is no longer a place to get a good drink and meal while travelling. read more

Well after I pulled up at about 7:15 and waited 8 minutes for someone to come out I was told my order was almost ready. Well here I am still sitting here at 7:45 and nothing as of yet. I always order a fillet well-done butterfly cut. The steak was served about medium with two slashes cut in the steak. I complained and was told it was butterfly cut. No it wasnt. I have never been to a steakhouse that didn't even know what butterfly even meant. We will never be back. read more

I travel alot and really enjoy the outback chain. This one is particularly good. There have been occasions where I have had trouble with the food as far as temp and the way I like it cooked. But, the manager there has always been helpful in getting me my meal done right. They have even recooked my meal and didnt charge me for it. Customer service is #1 at this outback. I have found the staff here to be acceptionally courteous,knowledgeable and willing to provide a unique dinning experience. I would reccomend this Outback to anyone looking for a good, well prepared meal. But, get there early,especially on the weekends,cause there is usually a wait. read more

The service was the only good thing. Food took forever and the the filet came out raw and fries cold. Manager came by and asked if all was ok food sent back to be cooked some more and no not a new filet but same cooked to a crisp. Then out came a blooming onion, Crunchy and half raw with wet batter, We reported the condition of the onion to the server Who took it away without chatter. Bring on the salad, quite good, it wasn't bad... If you are ok with iceburg, croutons and ranch on your launch pad. Then comes the Sirloin, ordered medium, we have hope it is incredible. It is tough and tastes like it came out of a salt mine, it is downright unedible. Five minutes later, the other steak came, ordered medium well with a Parmesan crust, But it came out bare and bleeding from lack of flame. We cut up and shared a few edible bites, looking like quite the sad pair. Our server seemed to be busy she did it greet us right away it was ok, she had been double sat , the manager came over and took our drink order, the server greeted us with a smile Her name was Chasity, very pleasant girl when she came to the table she was very nice.. Incredible lobster tail and sirloin steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely a no sauce needed steak. Will be back.

First of all we called ahead for a reservation and still had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. Then the hostess didn't have any silverware at the host stand. Then we are sitting at the table 20 minutes before a server comes over to help us. It takes us forever to get anything brought to our table. When our food shows up one hour and 15 minutes after sitting down it was cold and out steaks were all over cooked. We paid $120 for cold food, over cooked steaks, crappy service, and while we were there for 2 whole hours our vehicle was broken into. There are no cameras in the outback parking lot and the cop said it happens a lot. We will not be returning 0 out of 10 would recommend. read more

She was quick to offer answers to our questions and to recommend new items for us to try. She kept our drinks full the entire meal which is very important. The food was okay for what it was. But the insanely slow service is inexcusable. An hour and a half for lunch, most of which was before we even got drinks and again after we had our food and were just waiting for the check. On our way out the manager was rushing to the parking lot because another table left without paying. Maybe if the servers were more on top of it that wouldn't be an issue. This was the second time we went to the Outback Steakhouse in Salisbury,N.C.The first time we went to celebrate my husband and my birthday,and we felt very,very rushed,after the second set of shrimp (6) the server came with two B'day Dogs ( Ice cream,chocolate syrup and whipped cream with a candle,and did even light the candles) and placed the check on the table.I told her we were waiting for more shrimp... Shrimp never came.I called the next day to let the Manager how We felt,he apologized,and sent 2-$20 complementary cards.So,we went there tonight,I asked for him to tell him thank you.He came to our table,then left.He did not come over any more after that.Needless,to say the Bloomin' Onion was way over cooked,our food came out cold.Needless,to say,it will be a very,very long time before we go back to that one (Salisbury,N.C.) read more

It is a chain. This one is clean. Service was a bit slow, but tolerable. No WiFi, which sucks. The place is also a bit on the loud side (if you are trying to finish up some work while eating). Regardless, the food is passable and is at a good price point. As always, don't order the lobster tails (way too small for the price) and almost always overcooked.
