Boomarita - margarita flight of house, blackberry, mango, watermelon
Ayana S.

I have nothing bad to say about my experience here. Our server Sabrina was top notch. She made sure we were happy with everything and constantly checked in. We also were checked on by a few more workers and maybe the manger which was nice. I appreciated that our server said the bloomin onion was a bit too overcooked so they made us a new one. The boomarita flight was delicious especially the watermelon and my food was perfectly cooked. The restaurant was clean and friendly.

Salads

Multiple Take Out and Catering have been amazing every single time. The manager (Terri) is not satisfied unless all items are perfectly prepared, packed, and ready back to you to confirm. The staff is lead by example and they always exceed my expectations, great job you all! See you soon

Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp**

Outback is my go to delivery restaurant. I've ordered their potato soup so many times. The coconut shrimp are also great! The restaurant offers an excellent 3 course meal with a choice of soup/salad, main course, side, and cheesecake for 14.99. While you can enjoy this deal dining in the restaurant, it is not offered for delivery, which is disappointing. It's a great deal!

Food was great , service was amazing . The waitress and both managers constantly checked on us and made sure we had the best experience and everything we needed . Only reason for four stars is I did end up getting food poisoning from either the loaded sweet potato or the coconut shrimp . Only lasted a day but over all I would go again everything else was really good .

The Grecian tips are absolutely horrible. What I was served was some UNSEASONED thin and dry pork…read morechop medallion with peppers and onions. This has to be the worse thing on the menu. When I think of Grecian tips I'm thinking of Greek MARINADED beef or pork strips (wish they specified on the menu). At least put a grain of salt and pepper on it. I'm writing this feedback not to bash Palms Cafe but to hopefully get the owner and/or cooks to taste test their food from time to time. I also ordered buffalo wings...tasted like they were cooked with zero love. Heated in an oven or microwave and DRENCHED/SWIMMING in buffalo sauce. Wings should be fried crispy and tossed in the sauce. If anyone think I'm exaggerating go there and order the Grecian tips and buffalo wings and tell me I'm not on point with my review. I would love for the owner to reach out to me for a revisit on these 2 menu items after they revamp them‼

The menu had lots of options to choose from, but it wasn't overwhelming. Our food was delivered to us quickly. I was very impressed with their Greek salad and salmon. My daughter's got a hamburger and chicken nuggets. The fries were great, and they also had an array of homemade cakes. I really regret not getting one. Our waitress was great looked after us and answered all our questions. When I go back to Salisbury, I won't hesitate to come here again.

It's busy, it's buzzing, and yes... you're absolutely questioning your life choices while waiting. But then those SINFULLY good yeast rolls show up and suddenly all is forgiven. I ordered the 6 oz filet, cooked medium rare, and it was chef's kiss--tender, juicy, and cooked exactly right. Paired with grilled shrimp, which were seasoned well and perfectly cooked, it hit that surf-and-turf sweet spot. The sweet potato was fluffy and comforting (brown sugar and butter doing the Lord's work), and the salad was fresh, crisp, and a surprisingly solid opener. Bottom line: Yes, the wait is long. Yes, it's loud and chaotic. But the food is consistently good, the portions deliver, and once that food hits the table, you remember why people are willing to wait it out. Would I do it again? Absolutely--just with patience, low expectations for quiet conversation, and a serious appetite.

Location was beautiful! However, once we were seated they gave us water and came back 10 minutes…read morelater and gave us only drink menus.... 15 minutes into the service, we finally received actual menus. Only two other tables at the time, so not busy at all. Service was not great. Very weird vibes in there with the staff and they seemed to not want to be there. Food was way too overpriced for how average it tasted. The sauces were very watery and food was insanely salty. Our whole table came home and stayed in the bathroom all night. We definitely thought the all the food was frozen and sauce was just poured on top. Has lots of potential, but this was not a good experience.

Many people had told me about La Cava but most had not been there or "had always wanted to try it…read morebut never made it there". We fell into that later category, but finally got to make our first trip to La Cava to celebrate a birthday with 7 friends! To start, the most obviously unique aspect is that the restaurant is inside an old church! It is neat and the setting was great with the stained glass windows and large vaulted ceilings you would expect. Unfortunately for me the service didn't quite live up to the ambiance. We did receive our first round of drinks pretty quickly, however our glasses were empty for long enough after, that one from the group finally just got up and ordered a drink from the bar. When we did finally get our drink order taken, a couple waiters and waitresses took them together which just further complicated things. Similarly while we did not have drinks we were waiting to order our food for long enough we started wondering if they forgot about our table. For an Italian place with a decent emphasis on wine (they have many many bottles of wine all around the dining room) I would have liked to see a bit more of an Italian centric by the glass menu. They have a Chianti and a Montepulciano for reds, but could be a cool way to introduce people to some new wines instead of the same old California wines. As for the food, again, it was not bad, but with some tweaks could be something really special. I had the Veal Saltimbocca. The taste was fine, but the presentation left a lot to be desired. The veal was roughly the same thickness as the prosciutto topping it, and the sides of home fries and bland spinach were not great. I did love the sauce it was served with though. I heard similar complaints about the chicken gismonda from our group. However the beef stew and the Swordfish got pretty good reviews! Overall, I don't want to say it was bad, I could just see it easily being so much better. I would like to return and likely will to try some different things but will set expectations a bit better.

And it seems the servers get pressured from management on this and it negatively shows to families with children who come to this location. And if you ask for an extra plate to share all sorts of negative emotions are displayed from servers. This has happened on multiple occasions. With young kids who do not eat much anyway, not sure why this location wants to pick battles with families with kids. All of this doesn't just flow from the servers, it comes from the management/owner(s) who instead of finding a way to balance margins and customer service, they sacrifice customer service for minimal margin gain by directing their staff and probably reprimanding them for these kinds of situations. We have visited multiple other longhorns over the years and this is the only one that displays a noticeable stinginess and negative attitude with extra plates and kid's meal orders. All other longhorns have provided excellent service when we order the same thing at any other longhorn we go to and have no complaints; the Salisbury location however today decided to seemingly cut one of our kids meal steaks in half and serve one steak as two on separate kids meals. Our server today was sweet and very nice until we ordered, then a noticeable shift took place in the tone and atmosphere, and the staff seemed to try and "get back" at us by providing us with the tiniest steaks possible, literally half the size of a normal kid's steak we have ever received in the years we have been going to Longhorn and getting kids meals. With 3 young kids all over 2 years old present; ordering 2 kids meals and an extra plate with our family of 5 should not be met with this kind of disgruntlement from staff. This kind of stinginess flows from the higher ups at this location and it shows. And of all the days to deliver a passive aggressive retaliation on kids meals to my kids, they chose Father's Day. We will not be returning to this location as it is not family friendly. So now, losing customers and revenue over this pettiness doesn't seem so good for the margins anymore does it?
