FREAKING FLABBERGASTED DOES NOT COVER THE EXPERIENCE. I JUST HAD MOMENTS AGO Here I am again in Strongsville instead of Parma town and while I didn't get Stacy, server extraordinaire I was lucky enough to obtain DEJA. She is equally, if not more outstanding than Stacy. She saw my AARP card, I had signed in on the machine and she saw that I got a free appetizer. She was warm and welcoming. And it wasn't just me. She's serving four tables of at least two people each and she's talking to them and treating them exactly the same --offering them drinks offering them more bread offering them appetizers. And it didn't matter how old we were how horribly our hair looked nor how awful our outfit was to go out to dine today She brought me a fresh iced tea because my entree hadn't come out yet and I didn't ask for it. I don't know what Outback is doing, but they SIMPLY MUST keep doing it. There is no way in heck I could finish my free appetizer --the coconut shrimp I ordered were six and I swear each one was the size of the palm of my hand --she brought me a box so I could box the three up and gave me a brand new little tub of the sauce that you dip them in, and I never asked for that either!!!!! THAT IS servers beyond the call of duty and GOING that extra TEN MILES!!!!! I was so thrilled by this exemplary service. I forgot to mention the meal. I ordered a free appetizer that came across my email cause I'm a rewards member and I had a perfect loaf of warmed bread with butter that melted easy not rock hard-- the lemon was enough for all six of the shrimp. I had the 6 ounce sirloin medium well and broccoli and everything was cooked to perfection not to mention cooked to order. I can't believe it. It's 1240 and I'm still here. It's only been like a half hour but right next to me they're setting up a table for 12 and eight of them are already here and it's her station. I'm gonna give a look see. She took all of their orders with her usual practice, good mood and upbeat behavior, and she did have a little bit of help with bringing out the food for this huge party, but she checked on them just as often as she checked on me (a single diner) and she got another table of two and she was just cranking all afternoon. Ordered food to go on a Wednesday late afternoon. Ribeye Steak was ok but had a lot of grizzle. Sweet potato was way over done to the point of being shriveled up. Asparagus was good. Barbecue ribs were extremely dry but loaded with sauce. I doubt they were made that day and most likely reheated from the day before. Baked potato was dry also. Meals weren't worth the money and were underwhelming and disappointing. Poor quality control. The only redeeming aspect of the experience was the wonderfully patient,kind and highly professional young lady in the takeout section taking my order and bringing it out to my car. She had just started her shift and hadn't even had time to get organized but went above and beyond to take my order and walk me through the process. Hate to say it, but this was the worst restaurant steak I've ever had in my adult life. Not only was the cut thin and lacking much of a cap that is the hallmark of a ribeye, but it was poorly cooked and looked like it came out of an oven. Needless to say, it lacked any flavor that comes from a good sear and just tasted like beef baked in Lawry's seasoned salt. I asked the waiter about the steak and he apologized and brought it back to the kitchen. Unfortunately it brought back lightly seared on one side (but not the other) and now no longer medium rare. Would definitely not recommend coming here as there are plenty of steakhouses in the area that have better meat quality and know how to cook it. read more

We had incredible service (her name was Mikayla) and from the moment we came to her section she was absolutely hospitable, kind and understanding of us being uncomfortable at a large round table for two people, so she helped us snag a smaller four person facing table that made it much more intimate and comfy. It was all so quick after she keyed it into her iPad and someone came running out with cocktails and apps for us. Very efficient. They sat us immediately by the way in a nearly full restaurant. I have been here twice and each time I've had feelings so lets just dive into it. First the good - My kids were thrilled with their meals and really enjoyed them. The bread was fantastic (as always) and after some back and forth I successfully convinced my picky eater son to try it and he proceeded to eat an entire loaf and a half. My baked potato was so good that my daughter stole it off my plate (I was okay with this) and ate that instead of her fries. I got the most expensive steak I could because I had gotten a gift card as a present so hey, live mas right? Anyways, the steak was really fatty and I ended up cutting off so much fat I had a huge pile on my plate afterwards. I get thats how some cuts are but I was kind of bummed after dropping like $40 on a steak. By far the worst dining experience in the past decade of my life (and we eat out quite a bit). I have serious doubts this restaurant will remain open for too much longer. First, we ordered the Blumen Onion (a former go-to move for an Outback). It came out very overcooked and the oil it was cooked in had a terrible aftertaste (think week old fries). We ate about 4 pedals and put it aside. Our waitress (Mikayla) noticed we hardly touched the appetizer and shrugged as she grabbed it. We decided to trudge on and share the filet, broccoli and Caesar salad. The lettuce on my salad was brown (and bitter) and my wife's was dry and just sad. Again 3 bites and we moved it aside. Waitress came by (after forever) and scurried off with our still full salad plates. Didn't notice I almost finished my wine nor the plates. At this point, drinking dinner sounded like a better option. Steak came out (ordered med rare). Middle was still cold and raw. Cut was pathetic and the broccoli was unseasoned. Had to send the steak back because it was too raw to safely consume. Steak returned hardly better cooked but edible. Waitress is now actively avoiding us. Wife and I are openly commenting between each other about how horrible the meal was. To note, the manager HAD to know (or should have known) that our meal was crashed and burned. Manager never even stopped by. End of meal, waitress stops by (for maybe the 4th time during our entire meal). Tells us to have a free dessert. Our stomachs were wrenching from the sub-par food, so we declined. She again shrugged and gave us the bill. $100 for a night we'd rather forget. read more

Ordered pickup at this new location of Outback and dud not go inside. Masked employee approached my car and asked for the name in the order and said she'd be right back. A minute later she was back with bag in hand. Fast and perfectly handled. We ordered ribs with sides of mashed potatoes and a sweet potato. Everything was tasty and well prepared. Nothing too salty, a common problem for chain takeout out. Baby back ribs were fork tender. Delicious. We await the chance to try the dining room seating at some point. read more

We have made regular stops here usually on a Sunday, which can be a peak day for dining out, and it has always been top notch. I can subscribe to the notion that every business activity can have off sessions and while this has never been the case at this location, we have met the owner, whose name is displayed on the entrance, and we are confident that any concerns would be met immediately. Frankly, on the last trip July 21, 2024, it was our opinion that we enjoyed the best steak at any chain establishment we ever ordered. Yes, there are a number of privately owned and operated locations nearby where you can find a higher quality of selections at a premium price. But I could find no fault with the value and satisfaction received at this Outback. Service responsiveness was quite likely the fastest I ever witnessed in a comparable chain restaurant. That's likely to the technological advances with the order pads used by servers and the tasking routines in place that obviously expedite the delivery (I know the owner has a military background and that experience is evidenced here.) Very impressed with our server, Crystal, whose own food service experience is on point. No doubt that the world that has been altered since the year 2020. Many food businesses have been challenged, and lost the struggle. However, I will not accept excuses or poor value for inept management or unpalatable cuisine. Prices are higher for everything and no one likes the idea. This location must be doing something right for a number of people who are willing to pay the price since it has always been full of customers when we visit. read more

Went here on a whim at noon on a weekday with my family (4 adults total) The restaurant wasn't very busy at the time so there was little wait for a table. Neither our hostess nor our server introduced themselves so I cannot commend them for their courtesy by name here. We sat & were given our menus. There is a separate menu card with specials that I did not notice until after I ordered. I wish I had seen it or had the server or hostess point it out! Oh well. Our drinks were brought out quickly & a nice, small, warm loaf of brown bread was given to us with a cup of soft butter. It was very nice, but didn't last long at the table! We forgot to order appetizers so there was quite a wait between finishing the bread and our orders coming out. Our orders finally came out but one of our side dishes was not ready and wasn't brought out until the meal was ¾ finished. Same with the steak sauce. We asked for some when the steaks came out but didn't get any until we were almost done. No big deal. The food was very good: tasty & large portions. We ordered a combination of chicken, shrimp & steak. Everything was cooked nicely. The mashed potatoes are terrific. When we asked for the bill, we noticed the receipt had an option to pay online ("contactless payment") which was nice. I opted for that (as I have had problems in the past with my credit card number being used fraudulently) Payment was quick & easy & the website calculated the potential tips. After paying, I wasn't sure if the server or staff got notified. We were hesitant to walk out as we didn't want it to look like we didn't pay! As we walked out, there was no one around to say goodbye to. Had there been, I would have shown them my phone with confirmation of payment. Our receipt said our server was Logan. If Logan is the pleasant gal with the long dark hair & bright smile, she did a fine job. Thank you to Logan, the server, the chef & the rest of the staff at this Outback. The food was great, the service was good and the price was fair. We paid $85 for the four of us and we all had water for drinks. Other notes: this restaurant is part of a large strip of businesses. It is right next to Panera. There is ample free parking. It is easy to access from Royalton Road. The restaurant is clean, the decor is simple. We decided to give Outback another chance, and it turned out to be worse then the previous experience that we had with them. Had to wait over an hour for the food. Prime rib came out to be well done instead of medium rare and wifes steak had to go back to the kitchen 3 times. When it came back for the third time it was way to salty.
