I made a mistake when I ordered and my meal came out with a honey dressing that I couldn't eat due to my strict diet...my fault. The manager Ronda came out and properly assed the situation and worked to keep us happy. We were more than impressed! As a customer who frequents Outback in many different cities, I was more than impressed with the cleanliness, service and all around experience of this location. I had a great time at outback after so long. I wanted to check out their koala drinks that are adorable! I got the gingerbread martini that was very good & smooth. I have been going here for a few years for lunch with my senior parents who can be picky. We just recently went for dinner. Food was great. Price was good. It's a great place to get great comfort food. I could tell it's run well. There was a water spill on the floor. I pointed it out to the server. The manager instantly came over and got on his hands and knees to clean it. Like I said we'll run place. All the staff were super friendly and attentive. Stopped in for our annual New Years Eve take out. As i waited the vibe inside was upbeat and festive. All the servers had on those shinny foil hats and were spreading the cheer. Foid was ready sooner than estimated, scored some extra bread and shot home to the family. Everything we ordered was cooked & packaged as requested. Haven't been to our neighborhood outback in years. Had dinner tonight with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. I had the salad , nice ice cold plate and very crisp lettuce. The food is always excellent, but I should say that the center cut sirloin may be reasonably priced, because of the thin line of gristle that's present in most pieces. The tenders were excellent, moist inside. Service is always exceptional. The bar makes good drinks but seems not to know how to make a simple, classic dry martini. I often receive it with brine and have even received it with vodka. FYI: A classic dry gin martini is 2 oz gin, 1 oz dry vermouth, stir with ice, strain & serve. read more

So I was not going to do a review since the manager did assist but with my entire family having gut issues that is now settling after 3.5 hours I must. The food was the worst we've had since going to this chain. We ordered 2 6oz steaks and we're give less than 4 ozs. We ordered the ribeye and was given lord knows what. The amount of salt and black pepper made us all nauseous. We came in starving and left starving with a stomach ache. The plate was horribly done overall. The best thing was the soup. Outback and Cheesecake Factory have the best bread. You can't go wrong with a bloomin onion. Just ask for extra sauce. Steaks were cooked perfectly, exactly how we requested. I have been going to outback for years and it was always good. But the last few times, the food was not fresh and had definitely been cooked before and just reheated. I always get the grilled salmon and sweet potato. Had a take out order...again not fresh and the sweet potato seemed like it was cooked more than once...even the bread was not fresh. I gave it 3 times, but unfortunately, 3 strikes you're out. It is too bad, I used to really enjoy my meal there. Maybe new management. Hope you have better luck. read more

I recently revisited the Outback Steakhouse in Wayne for the first time in probably close to 20 years. That particular outpost had always been one of the better ones, and I was pleased to see that it still was. The food and the service exceeded my expectations. We were there for lunch on a weekend, which sadly meant that their lunch specials were not available (only on Monday-Friday), but we made due selecting from their all-day options. While we waited for our meal, other members of the table enjoyed slices of the Blooming Onion, while I (not a fan of onions or fried foods) focused my attention on the loaves of sweet brown bread. My meal arrived within about 20 minutes and consisted of the Grilled Chicken on the Barbie and my choice of two side dishes. The chicken was extremely tender, like to the point where I wondered if it was actual meat...The breast had been completely doused with a salty seasoning, which was too overpowering. A cup of barbecue sauce was served on the side, and I would have preferred if they focused on flavoring the chicken with that, rather than including the heavy-handed portion of dry rub. When it came to the sides, the Seasoned Rice was peppery and delicious, while the steamed Mixed Vegetables were just alright. The carrots were hard and did not look like they had been peeled, while the zucchini and squash were mushy. For dessert, the table shared the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, a sinful bowl of pecan brownie chunks, topped with a massive scoop of vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings, and whipped cream. A spoonful was more than enough of the delicious, yet calorie-laden, treat! While I do not typically opt to dine at fast casual restaurants, the trip to the Wayne Outback was more enjoyable than I had expected and made for a nice afternoon adventure. read more

I've always been a outback fan in general and have been to this one a few times since I moved into the area, but there is always something wrong. The food isn't good, the drinks suck, service is slow, food takes forever coming out of the kitchen. Also last night, the dessert was missing ingredients as compared to the description and looks nothing like the image. When we entered the restaurant there was a big bottle of sanitizer to use. Masks are required. The waiting area is closed off due to CDC covid-19 regulations. Booths have high dividers added to the top of the benches. Social distancing is being done. Tables are being cleaned and sanitized when guests leave. The menus are laminated. We were greeted by the host and seated immediately. Within a minute the server came by and introduced herself as well as supplied silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin. Drinks were served in a timely manner. Our appetizer was the coconut shrimp. Nicely fried and the remoulade dipping sauce compliments it well. I had the half rack of ribs with Aussie fries with cheese and bacon and French onion soup. My niece had the steak with coconut shrimp, Aussie fries and house salad. My sister had the steak with loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. I requested my ribs to be well done and with extra BBQ sauce on them and on the side. They were made as ordered and absolutely delicious! I came here craving the twisted ribs but they were a special last summer and no longer on the menu! They really should bring them back, but these ribs were so tasty! Definitely fulfilled my crave! The Aussie fries were delicious and complimented the meal well. My guests meals were delicious as well! For dessert we had the Thunder from Down Under - can't go wrong there! Refills were given without requests but asked first if we would like them! Special requests were served correctly! Atmosphere was pleasant and I loved the mix of music genre played. The volume was just right! Our server, Marissa, was friendly and beyond efficient on handling all of our special requests. Service and quality of food was beyond our expectations! Decided I needed a take out lunch and splurged on a filet mignonette.For about $20, they packaged up for me a big Caesar salad, mini bread loaf, 6 oz filet and big tub of mashed potatoes. This is not gourmet. This is American hearty and basic steak meal at a great lunch price point. Three stars means decent and reliable food. Served by pleasant people. This place gets busy! That's because the food is awesome. It's always freshly made and consistent. The service is friendly and even when they mess up because your server is new, they make it right. I bet there are a lot of things on the menu that you are missing out on. The meat on the ribs is so tender it falls off the bones. The steamed lobster tail is some of the best lobster you can get, the way the meat is coming out of the tail makes it really easy to eat. try the pork loin! I had trouble ordering and was getting an error. Finally got one to complete and got the email confirmation. Ordered slow roasted prime rib medium rare. Long story short... 2 hours later and many phone calls (outback's phone system wasn't allowing them to hear anything) I received the wrong item yet again. The manager failed to tell us the call ahead process is not really a reservation, it's just a reduced waiting time. We sat around and hour at home and when we arrived there was another 30 min wait. Went there during a free Bloomin Onion day. The Bloomin Onion was great as usual - The price of 8.49 for an onion seemed high. Had the Outback burger - price is 11.99 with fries - higher than the local diners with bigger burgers. BUT with the free Bloomin Onion it was a good deal. My husband and I went for a drive in the country to see the fall foliage. It was a beautiful day. Full sun and around 70 degrees. After several hours, we decided to eat at Outback Steakhouse. When we got there it was packed and they said it'd be about 30-40 minutes. Once we were seated, it didn't take long before the food came. My prime rib was cooked to perfection. So was my husband's ribeye steak. If there was anything that we could have used, it would be some au jus for the ribeye steak. We ate in silence, savoring each bite. To my surprise, we eat everything and my husband even ordered a caramel and sea salt cookie topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. He said it was very rich and decadent. The waiter/server was friendly and seemed happy to have us there. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that wants perfect service to perfect food. I can't wait for my family to visit from Colorado. Outback will be our first stop! read more
