Any other steak I can do at home myself and it'll taste better anyway. The experience was bad from the get go. Nothing served - water or bread with butter until 20 minutes later. That's pretty long to be sitting with nothing on the table. We ordered three MEDIUM RARE prime rib dishes. We received three MEDIYM TO WELL DONE pieces Really couldn't discern the difference between 12 and 16 ounces. They looked the same. No worries. We brought it up our waitresses attention. She immediately called the manager and both looked at the prime rib we received and agreed it was overdone. They were happy to exchange it for Rob eye steaks because of course we had the last pieces of the day. At 7 pm the prime rib (4 rolls) were gone. We weee out of luck. Ok. Rob eyes for everyone. Even though that's not what we came to eat. Note; we were told on the phone earlier that they have more than enough prime rib at 6 pm because it was Saturday night. The rib eye came medium rare. Yay. Taste? Ugh! Tasted like it was rolled in a tray of salt and black pepper. Tons of requests for more water. Couldn't finish it because the saltiness was distracting from the meat taste. Yes I do know you must salt the steaks - bit this was more like drenched in salt. Finally, I don't expect a restaurant to serve ketchup in small plastic cups like Wendy's. Paper napkins not linen? Really? Butter for bread in a plastic cup,not a small ceramic or porcelain ramekin? Forks and knives wrapped in napkins and put in a paper bag? What's going on here. This is like a cafeteria or fast food style. Manager said they ran out of linen napkins and porcelain dishes. Ok. Whatever. Not.a big deal. The final straw. Check comes and prices of dishes ordered were incorrect and of course in the restaurant's favor. Of course. The suggested tip was based on the total price (including tax) not the subtotal. Sorry I don't pay tip on tax. Why would I tip the government lol? Really sad experience. I came out with my mom for a Mother's Day dinner and the food was good but the service was horrible! By far the worst service that I have ever received. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed that I don't even know where to begin. Our waitress Kelly was horrible in every aspect. She was slow, inattentive and unresponsive to all of our requests. We waited over 20 minutes for drinks (not to mention they were only soda) and forty minutes for our cheese fries appetizer. Even though they had tasted good, the horrendous service had already left a horrible taste in our mouths. Went with wife last night, Veterans Day to thus Outback. Not only was our ribeye delicious as usual and staff extremely friendly and attentive but while many coffee shops, donut shops, restaurants give miniscule omens to our veterans, this place gave me and other vets a free beer, a bloomy and when leaving after paying our bill, a $10 gift card to use on our next trip. This has been our casual dining place when we want consistent food and consistent service. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. The meal quality isn't what it used to be. So disappointed tonight with the lack of cleanliness. The floors throughout are slippery with seems to be grease. The entire place needs a good scrubbing. Floor around our table was filthy with dropped food and they proceeded to sit us there until we complained. We had to wait until that was cleaned up. Food : coconut shrimp was thrown on the plate very unappetizing. Salmon was okay the 10 oz salmon was no bigger than my 7oz. Dinner plates were small. Food cramp on plate. Despite this thank goodness the server was attentive. This restaurant needs to literally clean and scrub the whole place. Stopped by for a quick dinner the other night. There is a large parking lot so finding a spot is easy. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by very friendly staff. I sat at the bar since I was alone and there's no wait there. I ordered the steak and lobster special. The steak was nice and juicy. Cooked perfectly per my order. This place used to be full of energy and good workers..I went here to get out the house and go to a nice place my kids and I would enjoy. The girl that seats you complains to her co workers because customers ask for a certain section to sit at. The girl who attended us looked hungover or just bored with life, seemed like she was irritated with ppl being there. Her uniform with filthy and when the manager passed by me I noticed his uniform was dirtier than her was. The other waiter who brings out my drinks has the filth under his fingers nails, he also looks like he hates his job. Than they bring my son the soggiest Cesar salad ever, the croutons were like eating wet slice bread. I forgot to mention that they also brought me a luke warm beer. To top everything off I just said, when they bring our food out, as the waiter is passing the food to my daughter I notice a giant hair sticking out her mushrooms as if it were meant to be there. I let the waiter know like nothing she just takes away the mushrooms like that fucking normal. All this was happening while the manger sat at the table across from me. This place is a fucking joke and disgusting, I will make sure to spread the word on how horrible dirty and extremely poor ran this place is. Update of June 11, 2021. We gave it another try and what a mistake! After waiting for them to figure out where to seat us, we sat at the table for 15 minutes without anyone serving us. We watched as several waitresses walked by and said nothing. We got up and left and on the way out told them why we were leaving. They said nothing and didn't seem to care. No more chances. We have been coming to this Outback for many years. We usually pick up, but we dined in last night. I just wanted to acknowledge our waiter Damien. He was so attentive. We never had to wait for a drink, bread, or anything. He just brought it out when he noticed we needed it. He made sure the table was cleared quickly when he saw we were finished. He was friendly and definitely went above and beyond his job to make sure we were satisfied. I appreciated his work ethic and wanted to write a nice review for him. Made an account just to post this review. I placed an online order that included a Victoria's Filet Mignon. When it asked for how I would like it cooked, I selected "Well done. Hot brown center/no pink." Then, for extra precaution, since the person it was for had had E. Coli before, I put under special instructions, "extra well done - medical issue." And Outback must have seen these notes and threw them out because the steak we got was as pink as it gets. I don't know how much clearer I could have been. In what universe is this even close to well done? Luckily we cut it open ourselves before eating it. I ordered my food, was charged & it said my food will b to me in35-45min. 1hr15min later I called n was told it's on the way. Long story short my order somehow didn't go to the store. Manager Denise fixed it after a 15min convo trying 2c what went wrong. He tried to do right but being in restaurant industry he told me all the bullshit we r taught to diffuse guests which only made me more upset. I will never be back to any Outback after the food I was served tonight. We ordered the blooming onion for an appetizer, when we got it we realized it was half-naked, half uncooked and had uncooked flour still on it. We tried to salvage any parts that looked half decent. For my entrée I had the chicken tenders, because I figured you can't mess those up right? Wrong. I was astonished when I went to grab my first tender. It was a mushy greasy mess. When I tell you I have never in my life touched such soggy greasy chicken tenders, I mean it. I previously asked for honey mustard to dip, but no need for any more moisture, the grease was enough. The waitress brought it out and wow, I mean wow, the "honey mustard" tasted like nothing. It looked like lemon curd.. Since I wasn't going to eat that awful chicken, I figured I'd fill up on mashed potatoes. No, because it seemed as if they purchased the plates with the potato's already attached. It was so congealed that it was just chunking all up. Almost like a TV dinner or what I imagine prison food being like. I do have to say, the potato soup was good and I have no complaints about that. We waited twice that long to enter a dining room that was literally half empty. The wait at the table gave us time to look up at the dust in the picture frames. The young man at the front desk was pleasant but admittedly confused. Our salad appetizer came out with the dinner so we wound up getting it comped because we wanted to eat our meal while it was hot. The food was ok, quite seasoned. The waiter said that he would comp the salad but forgot to do so. We had to ask to have it removed from the bill. The drinks were more reasonable than other local places. They have a variety of mixed drinks for $7 each.
