So typically, I order the Hot chick- because that's what I am! Spicy, filling and I leave a good taste in your mouth . Lol. But tonight I got the wings. I googled best wings in Phoenix, and this spot was on the list. I ordered the garlic honey Parmesan wings- don't do it. I smothered mine in hot sauce, because the sauce covers a lot of ills. Bottom line- sandwiches and fries are Grrrreatt , but the wings are not the best. read more

We stopped by this spot after being in the area, scoping out yelp, and picking a random place that had good reviews! It was empty but we were greeted by a friendly person who took our order. We ordered 2 hit sandwiches and the big tex fries. The food came out fast and hot! It was delicious and the owner was super friendly! If you need a good hot sandwich, don't waste your time at Subway. I'm a big girl and I could only handle half of my sandwich! The other half was just as good later! I'd recommend this place anytime! read more

Amazing food. The staff was great. I got the Empire Steak. I took one bite and ordered 3 more for the family.. My brother and sister in law are chefs in NY and my sis is Puerto Rican, so I think Iam a Great judge of taste and style . And I am Very Picky.. I miss this type of food, being from NY, there aren't many places to go that aren't Mexican! I love Mexican food but man oh man, for me.. nothing can beat that east coast flava! Visited my family in Arizona. We stopped to eat here. Good food. My daughter has fish allergies and forgot to inform the owner. She ended up with swollen lips and since we just Uber to the place. The owner was kind enough to help drive us 15 mins to the hospital. My daughter was fine. The Benadryl she took before going to the hospital helped with the swelling. He made sure we were okay. He went over and beyond to help us. Thank you!! And definitely would recommend the place. read more

Immediately from walking in the customer service was amazing, such great and friendly staff all around. The food came to us piping hot, and it was delicious! If you're in the mood for a good straight up sub go here! Service was exceptional, nice friendly guys. Sandwiches were THE BOMB! Bread was fresh, soft and chewy, they do not skimp on ingredients. Fries were good as well, their spicy Mayo was on point, and perfect for dipping my fries in. I had the empire and it was amazing! Looking for a place to have quick lunch this place was only eight minutes from our hotel so we came over here and Barbara ordered a cilantro salad which came with avocado marinated red peppers, corn cheese. She said it was wonderful and she ate this whole big salad down to almost nothing, I ordered a corn beef sandwich with mustard and coleslaw. It was terrific was not an ounce of fat on it. It was served hot. It was probably the best corn beef sandwich ever ever had. We went to Outta Bronx because we needed to find a place to eat before our flight and a lot of restaurants were closed due to MLK. This was a pleasant surprise. The meatball sandwich was great. MJ is awesome! I missed my connecting flight so Southwest put me up at the Holiday Inn. I headed to this fine establishment on foot (about 1/4 to 1/2 mile) hoping I'd arrive before 8:00 pm closing time. I arrived about 3 minutes before 8, saw the mop bucket on the floor and thought oh no! BUT MJ saw me and waved me in. I had an awesome pastrami sandwich and fries. Both were outstanding. I am so grateful for people like MJ who treat customers the way they're supposed to be treated. He could have easily blown me off, but he didn't. The next time I'm in Phoenix, I'm headed here FIRST! This place deserves 5 star based on service alone. The young man who had stated he has worked there for 2 weeks ( I didn't catch his name) was very nice and accommodating from the minute we walked in. My husband and I ordered the Gyro and the chopped steak and cheese, both come with fries. I am not big on fries but I actually really liked these and they had good seasoning on them. There were a couple issues with our order which I brought to their attention. There was a miscommunication and it was brought to the manager and the owners attention who were who both offsite. Both made contact and took care of everything with great care to making sure we were happy in the end. The owner who I spoke to myself on the phone was super nice and you can tell he really cared about doing what is right which I truly appreciate in this day and age where honestly very few people care anymore! But, everyone cared, even the cooks who wanted to make sure it was done right. I appreciate everyone involved and our food was very good. BEST cheesesteak we've ever eaten! We had the Empire Steak and OMG, amazing! Steak was tender, peppers were super fresh and cheese was nice and melty. And the bread...YUM! Also ordered Cilantro Lime salad. They were out of avocado and the cilantro lime dressing which they told me, but there also wasn't any pumpkin seeds...or corn...or spinach...as stated on the menu but it was still delish! Chicken was tender and juicy, romaine was fresh and crisp, overall a great salad. We will definitely be back to try some of the other sandwiches. To start off, I wanna say how much I enjoy coming here!! I've always been the type of person to try different foods from different cultures , 5 things I could say about this restaurant is 1. They attend to you with immediate attention which I love ! , 2. I dont mind waiting for their food there's always orders rushing in and out , 3. There variety of subs and foods they have in their menu is GREAT!, 4. The ambience in there feels as if I was in New York with their style of platters 5. Please note that I'm NOT an authority on the chopped cheese sandwich. Until i actually visit NYC and get the full bodega experience, I cannot definitively speak on it. Based on what I know about the sandwich, I understand that this might not be a fully authentic rendition. But, seriously, the chopped cheese from Outta Bronx was legit! A flavor punch to the mouth all on a crispy soft baguette! The fried pickles were a little disappointing but the onion rings were fire! It's a small place but the staff was nice and attentive. Decided to finally try this place and am so glad we did! The owner greeted us the minute we walked in - he was so friendly and offered up a couple recommendations. There are so many sandwiches We wanted to try but settled on the Baja Chick and the Fatstack. Both were so yummy! The bread is soft and the perfect choice for these sandwiches! The fatstack had the perfect combination of spicy, with the spicy Aioli, and then the creaminess of the coleslaw paired with the sausage - yummy! The Baja chick was super flavorful with chicken, jalapeños, onions and cheese all melter together in yummy-ness (might not be a word but should be). This place is in my list for favorite sandwiches! Not a fast food joint but sure is great food! When they get busy there is a wait but well worth it. This is only the 2nd time here but it does not disappoint. Todays Empire Steak sandwich and butter garlic fries for me and Long Island sandwich with fried pickles for her. Other favorites are the Gouda grilled cheese and the shroomy Swiss are what we've tried so far. ALL GOOD! Baja fries and the work's fries are definitely in my near future! Thanks guys!!! read more

Went to this place yesterday for lunch. Saw it had great reviews. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the Owner and just asked how I was doing. I ordered the Empire Steak and the butter garlic fries - he said it was a great sandwich but recommended another chicken sandwich to me and said I'm guaranteed to love it. I travel a lot for work so it's always a point to find a local gem to eat. Man this is definitely a gem. I'm from Wisconsin so I needed something different. Aziz was friendly and shared the story about his dad and why he started the rest. It was cool to hear that he loves connecting to people and that's what keeps him going. It made my day. Some others that are definitely worth mentioning is their pizza buying per slice (great portion size btw), and their pastas! A must when visiting is getting their pistachio Dubai chocolate cannoli! Their cannolis are made fresh and they really are amazing! The espresso tastes amazing! One thing that really stands out to me is that this deli/ grocery has been in business for a long time and the owners/employees are so welcoming and make you feel at home! They welcome you with genuine happiness. They have outdoor seating and they offer to go. They do have 2 spots for accessible parking and a few ramps. The aisles are pretty tight but if you ask the employers they are more than willing to help out! The entrance of the store is accessible and it's easy to move around.
