After eating dinner at The Source, I was craving some ice cream. Overflo looks so bright and cute, so decided to come try out their soft serve. The flavors are more tea and Asian-based, which is right up my alley. I ordered the Early Grey Soft Serve ($6.90) and enjoyed it. The soft serve isn't quite milky, but more of an icy texture. This would be ideal on a hot day. The earl grey flavor is more of a mix-in than an ice cream flavor too, but it had a strong flavor. This isn't your typical soft serve, but it's still good. I do enjoy the earl grey flavor a lot. Overall, it's a bit pricey for such a small cup so it's more of a treat every now and then. read more

Overflo is a cute spot at The Source! My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. We just ordered the cookie shake but got the strawberry one for free because an extra one was made and they so kindly offered it to us! the cookie shake had a rich flavor that wasn't too sweet, idk if it just melted but it did have a watery consistency that I wasn't a fan of. The strawberry one was topped with crunchy cereal that I forgot the name of!! If I recall from my childhood the mascot of this cereal is a frog? Maybe? Idk someone please tell me anyway, the strawberry flavor reminded me of smooth Nesquik strawberry milk juxtaposed with the texture of the cereal, this was a big plus for me. read more

Good air flow here, right by the center of the first floor at The Source. I tried the real milk ice cream, which was pretty decent. As soon as I finished paying, an employee from the back came out with my order right away! That was the quickest service ever. I like the openness a lot, and it's a good area to just chill by yourself or with good company. It's on the pricey side for what they offer, but the selections are interesting and worth a try. read more

I was craving something like ice cream here at the Source and this was the closest thing I could find? I tried the matcha soft serve it looked oddly old green? Like swamp green. It didn't really look that appealing tbh. First few taste, it wasn't really like a soft serve, it was more "icy" than soft. Neither creamy at all. The taste overall was also very sweet and the matcha was like oddly bitter. I didn't really like it at all, but I didn't want to waste my money either so I kept eating it. Honestly though, the more you eat it, the more it tasted not bad. Probably you get used to how it tastes, but it wasn't really good the first few bites. At least, not what you would imagine a "soft serve". Although, the rest of the other items looked more appealing. The whole store smells like tteokbokki so maybe their tteokbokki would be better? read more

Soft Serve is my fave :) With lots of dessert places at the source I was very hard to pick. I'm glad I chose here. Quality of Food: I ordered the Strawberry Soft Serve. It was Vanilla with fresh Strawberry & Strawberry Puree too. It was delicious not to sweet. My boyfriend who isn't a fan of sweets even loved it :) Location & Parking: Source parking can be a nightmare but I would say its better to go all the way to the top floor unless you want to drive aisle by aisle. Overflo is located on the lower level at the Source. I would highly recommend you try this spot if you're looking for a simple and delicious dessert. But I would expect a wait due them being short staffed. read more

We only tried the half choco/half vanilla soft serve swirl cup. It was good - not too sweet and creamy but it didn't stick out as something that would warrant another visit. Perhaps if we had tried a different flavor - I believe they had an injeolmi flavor and that probably would have been more interesting. 1st timer here after eating dinner. It's a new spot that replaced another ice cream place i recall previous shop. What we ordered ~ Yummy Biscoff AFFOGATO 11.22.23 Ice cream was really creamy and good. Just noticed crunchy like crushed ice still in the ice cream. Not sure if that's how it's suppose to be served. Ice cream was a good size and can be shared. The AFFOGATO was yummy and not overly strong at all. Love Biscoff cookies and it complimented the ice cream pretty well. Got the rose bowl. Like previous review mentioned, does not come with the tteok (rice cake), just had noodles...which was sad...but flavor still there. Just wish they had made that more clear. Good quick meal to share, but go early because it gets busy around lunch time. So...I need a yes or no on whether or not to try the matcha soft serve, because these reviews are mixed! read more

I think the best thing you can get here is the rose tteokbokki. It was not spicy how I like it and they make it cheesy. I also really like the glass noodles. The ice cream here is not my favorite. It kind of reminds of the ice cream you get at buffets where it's more icy than creamy. read more

Overflo is a good small spot in the central location of the Source. Want hot food? They have it. Want a cold dessert? They have it. Want a drink? Yep, sure, have it. Softserve ice cream served in a swirl over a cone or cup. I got mine with earl grey tea. Actually, I didn't expect it to be just actual tea. Thought the tea was gonna be soft serve, too. So it was tea affogato style. Lol. Kids, of course, had to get a chocolate swirl and other a brown sugar shake. Thought the brown sugar shake was gonna look like the pic. Kinda disappointed in that. I'll try more items down the line when I come to the Source. read more

K-Style noodles are really good! The sauce they use here is tasty and EXTREMELY spicy. I would rate the spice level as a 8 on a 10 scale. The food has a strong gochujang taste to it but still had tons of flavor. They ran out of egg when I ordered which was disappointing since I feel like it would have helped with the spice. Both the udon noodles and glass noodles were great. The texture was really bouncy and chewy and clinged onto the sauce. The only downside was the size. I thought the portion size was pretty small for the price. The store has a bright orange and white theme to its decor. You can find it on the bottom floor of the Source. read more

Ordered the strawberry soft serve, presentation was great however the soft serve had a bizarre icy texture unlike typical soft serve, & was rather flavorless compared to other milk flavored soft serve I've had in the past. The strawberry syrup saved the overall flavor for sure. Service was quick but not very welcoming, especially considering there was only 2 other people there at the time. Definitely could have at least greeted us. Ambiance was nice, it was just an open space area with indoor seating which is great for people watching while enjoying your food or dessert. Overall fun to try if you happen to be at the Source but I would recommend somewhere else like Somi Somi for better milk soft serve instead if you care about flavors. read more

I'm sad I didn't take proper pictures of this but enjoy what I did take. I remember being little and going to the San Gabriel Superstore, there was an old lady out front who would make these wheels in her cart. Custard has always had my heart. This place offers a bunch of flavors and the wheels are super bigger. Similar to somi somi just not a fish haha. It takes about 10 minutes or so for them to give it to you, nice and fresh! read more

We were in the mood for dessert after a filling dinner and this popped up in my feed. It's been a minute since we've gone to The Source and this place seems to be really hype so even more of a reason to try it out. Here's what we ordered: **Black Seasalt Soft Ice Cream: At first glance, it looks like a black sesame soft serve, but it's actually black seasalt. It was really good at first but got overpowered with sweetness near the bottom half with the seasalt caramel flavor. Also, be ready for your lips to turn black so have napkins on deck for this one. (4/5) **Granola Soft Ice Cream: My girlfriend has a massive sweet tooth so it worked out for her. As for myself, it was too sweet but the flavor was good. **Original Offle Waffle: We were torn between the flavors but opted for the original one for starters. I wish the waffle was crispy but it wasn't. The filling was very generous and the waffle as a whole was not too bad. It does get messy so make sure you have napkins on deck for this one as well. (3.5/5) Overall, fairly decent dessert spot at The Source. They're short staffed and the demand is high so be prepared to wait a little extra during the busy rush hours. However, we got there right before the rush during the last hour so we waited less than 5 minutes for all of our items. One thing that would top it off is if they had a water station because the food items get really overwhelming. read more

I got the Thai Tea Ice cream, but I did not get any Thai Tea flavor from it. It tasted mostly like the milk ice cream they used as a base. The Thai tea syrup was mostly at the bottom, so I was able to get a little of the flavor at the end. Paid $7-8 for a vanilla soft serve. I wonder if the other flavors are better? I don't think I will visit again though. read more

Came here on a Saturday night when my friends and I were looking for a quick dessert to eat. Many of the food court options in the Source close at 9, yet this is one of the few ones that stayed open till 10. There was no line to order when we came in around 9:45. We decided to get a strawberry and earl gray soft serve and they came out within 5 minutes. As we waited, we enjoyed looking at the interior decor. It look like a refurbished hanger with some cute reskinned claw machines and a well-lit mirror picture spot. The soft serve itself was pretty good. Compared to your standard McDonald's soft serve, this one was noticeably less sweet which, for us, was a plus. The portions they gave were decently sized, but we would have loved if they added more of the strawberry and earl gray sauce because by the time we got to the bottom of the cup there wasn't much sauce to make the flavors more dynamic. read more

I had the most mid frozen treat ever. Never come here and if you've been here never come back. This place used to stand for something, it used to be good. Even had these cool waffles which are now gone. The soft serve (or whatever it attempted to be) was poorly made, and not even creamy. Far from close to what was advertised on thier billboards or what they used to serve. Staff looked lazy and annoyed. The location was also dirty and under kept. read more

Overflo is located on the 1st floor of the source, you will see it right away as it stands out with its bright orange and white theme. I believe this is a take out spot, however they do have several table inside. The service was nothing out of the ordinary, a little slow on food, and the cashier did seem grumpy. This shop specializes in ice cream, but funny thing is, I found their savory dishes to be much tastier than their ice cream. I had their ice cream awhile back, but it was disappointing so I never had it again. My friend and I stopped by here to have their savory dishes and now I often come back for it. My favorite is the rose bowl! The rose bowl contains glass noodle, sausage, bacon, and udon. It is creamy, slightly fragrant, salty, and lightly sweet. I recommend to share this dish as the creaminess does make my stomach churn a little, but regardless this dish is delicious. read more

This dessert shop is located on the lower floor of The Source. They serve drinks and soft serve ice cream. I opted for their other specialty - ice cream on a waffle. One might think the price a bit high but I thought it was reasonable for the size of the serving. I ordered their Oreo Nutella waffle with chocolate gelato. More specifically, half a waffle is covered with a spread of Nutella and Oreo crumbles with two scoops of gelato and chocolate syrup on top. The other half of the waffle is placed at an angle on top. They make the waffles to order so it took a little over five minutes. Served in a take-out box it wasn't the most convenient "plate" to eat from. The seating area is open air but covered. The chocolate gelato was a dark chocolate; smooth, rich, and creamy. It was an excellent gelato. I asked if they make their gelato in-house but just got a confused look and incoherent stuttering as an answer (either they didn't understand or didn't want to admit it wasn't). The waffle itself was fine, nothing special, but a little soft rather than crunchy. This is probably one of the better choices for dessert at The Source. read more

This place is located across Pelicana chicken. Looked interesting so we went. We tried the black sea salt soft serve. So interesting. Don't know what black sea salt taste like, but the ice cream taste a little more fatty and not that salty, but can also be because the ice cream itself isn't very sweet. It didn't really taste like anything but fattiness. They have lots of interesting flavors and the soft serve is actually pretty good. It's smooth and doesn't melt easily. They also have ice cream with waffles and ice cream inside some kind of donut/bread. They look interesting and price isn't that bad actually. Like around 8 bucks for the waffles and ice cream. First time coming to The Source in general but also checking out Overflo. We just had dinner and drinks down the street and were looking for a place for a sweet treat. Came on a Friday night around 9pm and it was real busy with a young adult crowd. They had a sign that service would be delayed due to lack of staff but we got our soft serve pretty quickly. The strawberry soft serve was sooo good and creamy I just wish it came in a larger cup ha ha. The fresh strawberries were the perfect touch. read more

I'm ngl I'm pretty bummed out about that. My boyfriend and I were basically regulars here. I'm glad I got to see this place one last time before they temporarily closed. I'm hoping things don't change too much but hey, I'm up for trying whatever the plan may be for this place. We ordered a Citrus Summer and a Yuzu Tonic. As always, it did NOT disappoint. That Citrus Summer was probably the best I've had haha The place is always calm, quiet, and welcoming. It's a great spot to relax and get a drink at. I can't wait to see what the new ownership has in store for this place. For now, we will patiently wait for its return :) As for the previous owners, thank you for creating a great place to stop at for drinks, desserts, and food. What a great place this has been for my boyfriend and I to come to. We're not really known to be regulars anywhere but what a joy it was to wake up early and stop by here at Teaish. Oh my god.. it was THE BEST! It was so smooth and the strawberries/syrup was so fresh. It was the best sweet treat to have after a long day. My friend got the matcha one (not pictured) and that one was lovely as well. Once I had finished mine I realized I should have been like my friend in the back and got the large size haha. Will come back the next time I'm in town!

Once we arrived, there was plenty of chairs and seating and the place looked pretty cool. They also had a pretty extensive menu which consisted of coffee, tea, lattes, Korean drinks, smoothies, sparkling aids and of course, ice cream. I don't like ice cream but I was actually pretty excited for her to try it. Cool name, cool spot, I'm willing to bet something on it, it's about to be fire! After waiting a while I noticed she was still at the front, I wasn't sure if she was looking at the menu or what. So I go to the front and no one is in sight, I see the bell and I ring it and a young girl comes to help. Make sure you ring the bell smh. Finally after the long wait, and a small line formed behind us, she finally gets her ice cream on a cone. I see her walking towards me happy and then she takes a bite and everything goes out the window. She hated everything about the ice cream. It wasn't what she thought, she didn't like the texture, the flavor or anything about it. She had me taste it and she was right, it tasted like ice without the cream and kind of bland. It is exactly what it is marketed as, low fat, low calorie, low sugar, and low carbs so I have no clue what she thought she was getting. It clearly said, plant based lol. I told her and she said she at least wanted it to taste creamy and she was right, it was far from creamy but Don Melt didn't do anything wrong lol. Anyway, she didn't want to be mean so she held on to it until we got a few stores down and tossed it. Then we went on a hunt to find her ice cream smh. Now, from my experience, it wasn't bad and I understand what they are doing. It's a healthy ice cream that isn't creamy and it's not something I would eat but I get the concept. It's for healthy eaters wanting to fill a craving, which isn't for everyone and I think she was being a little emotional about wanting her ice cream. I was just like "....ok?". - The lines for the Kiosk/Register is very unorganized, I couldn't tell which one was which, everytime I go there are groups that just like go from behind to squeeze in next to me for their group, even pushing me and not saying excuse me, and they continue being loud. Besides that, just the vibe of the place now is very uncomfortable. If anything, I'll just start ordering online/pick up from now on. I'll still have to deal with those type of people and can't change it, but it's better than waiting and being around those type of individuals

For the price they charge, you'd expect high-quality ingredients and a decent shelf life, but it just feels cheap and poorly made. Save your money and your health. I won't be coming back. PS. It's a blessing in disguise that they're currently closed because a car ran into their front store.

There was a construction crew right outside their door working on a maintenance project on the concrete. The manager came out and started to scream at them! Something about if they had turned the water off on the business to do the work. The men were shocked. She then went back into the coffee shop, made herself a coffee, and started laughing and chatting with two customers about her yelling at the crew. I was shocked by this behavior.
