The food was great. Loaded fries were the best. Great pork skins. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant appears new and clean. Went at lunch during the weekday, so it was fairly quiet. Definitely will be back.

It's been awhile since I've been here so I thought I'll give there brunch a try. Not really a brunch spot for not much to choose from. It's nice in the outside and outside sitting is a nice area. The food was okay nothing I would rush back to. I may come sit on there patio on a nice sunny day for drinks. The bartender was very attentive and kept asking if I needed anything else. This meal was $30 kind of pricey for biscuits and sausage.

Glass empty for 40 min. BT on his phone, hanging with the servers. They are having a great time. I ordered. Food came, no silverware for first 5 min with food. Manager brought me some. Now 50 min. Just let him have it when he asked how everything was. Ridiculous. Just drove 12 hours today. Was looking forward to eating here. Really upset about this. Love the food here. Thank you to the kitchen at least.

Talley provided the absolute best service! She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu options, even made the perfect recommendations based on the information I shared with her. Very engaging! During my visit, two separate Managers stopped to ensure my experience was amazing, asking how they can make my experience better. My food selections were awesome! Will return soon.

Tho it's right around the corner from my house, I've only been to P-Beau's a couple of times. My wife and i decide to go on a Saturday and they had a brunch menu. They brought us a complimentary bowl of fresh, hot pork skins. They were so good! I ordered the shrimp and grits from the brunch menu. Excellent and very filling! I will order this again.

First they start you off with a small bowl of pork rinds, which I couldn't stop eating, then I couldn't decide between the boudin balls or debris fries for an appetizer. Boudin balls aren't the best I've ever had but good nonetheless. My waitress recommended I got the huge burger over the shrimp Poboy and I was not disappointed at all. Burger was very tasty and everything about it was just right, and my father got the oyster BLT and he said it was great. I would absolutely recommend this place, $56 for an appetizer, 2 meals, and 2 fish bowls of beer (huge).

We ordered the "Biscuits and Gravy" from the brunch menu. While the food is good (pretty sure the biscuit is fried), this is a breakfast platter with a side of gravy (gravy not pictured, but received). It was disappointing, because when you order Biscuits and Gravy you expect it to be the showstopper; the main feature of the dish. Here it's just an accompaniment.

I order delivery due to COVID. THIS BURGER WAS EVERYTHING. It was layered perfectly, the onion rings were crunchy, the cheese was melty, and the Angus beef was delicious and cooked too perfection.

We are here on a Saturday evening. The restaurant appeared to be very clean, and all staff were wearing their masks. It seemed to be operating just under the 50% occupancy mandate. As we were seated, we were informed that we had arrived at shift change and that it would be a few minutes before our waitress would be with us. After our waitress took our drink order, within 5 minutes, our drinks began arriving. Our food order consisted of a Happy Hour Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and a Shrimp Poboy with Mac-n-Cheese. My wife requested her burger to be well done, with no steak sauce. The waitress said they would put the steak sauce on the side. Our food arrived about 20 minutes later. The shrimp on the Poboy were of a nice size and well breaded. The bread was undersized for the shrimp, and looked more like a hot dog bun and Poboy bread. Most of the shrimp were on the plate and not in the sandwich. That being said, the shrimp alone were delicious. My wife opened her sandwich, only to see steak sauce on it. She sent it back for another burger. The waitress brought a new burger back out. This time the steak sauce was on the side AND on the burger. They had replaced the patty, but dumped the old toppings back on the burger. Not only that, the new burger wasn't well done. She wasn't going to send it back, but a manager saw that she was not happy. She took the burger away and we could hear her telling the cooks exactly what we wanted. A new burger was brought out, only this time it was just the burger, no fries. The manager took the burger and fries off of our ticket. Our waitress gave us our bill, which was $40 and change. When she brought back our ticket, somebody else had paid for it. I checked my bank and saw where $92 was charged to us. They then charged us our correct amount and said they will refund the $92.

The crawfish were flavorful, seasoned well, and priced right, which is honestly the perfect combination when you're sitting down ready to eat. They had that messy, not really spicy, addictive quality that keeps you reaching for "just one more" until the tray is empty. I also tried the buffalo wings. They weren't that great, if I'm being honest, but I was hungry so they got the job done. The crawfish are clearly the star of the show here anyway. The atmosphere felt relaxed and unpretentious, exactly the kind of place you want for seafood with friends, cold drinks, and a table full of shells piling up by the minute. If you're wondering whether I'll be back, I already have.

I love that they offer a variety of boards you can share, and their drink options are great too. You can sit inside or outside, and they even have live music on some nights, which adds to the atmosphere. The service has always been great every time I've gone. They also have the cutest merchandise available for purchase. It's a great place for date night, hanging out with friends, celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, or just spending time with family. When you read the reviews below, most people know what this restaurant is and how it works. My…read moreresponse is less harsh about the service or it's overpriced charcuterie board concept. I have lived in BR for 6 years now. Many departments at LSU take guests there and in that time, Building 5 has done nothing to improve its parking lot. The restaurant sits underneath an overpass and the parking is pothole marked unpaved gravel. This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.
