The lettuce wraps here are my jam! One of my favorite things on the menu. Located next to Cuba Libre in the Quarter at the Tropicana it's a great place to dine even though its a chain restaurant. The service is always good, the decor is sleek, and the vibe is fun and casual. When attending an event at the convention center I've taken clients here to eat, and when on a weekend getaway with the lady we hit it up for a good dinner. I can understand waiting a few minutes but it was not busy. Since my lunch break is now over I asked for a refund. The manager comes, I explain I have been waiting for over 25 minutes for Mongolian beef and an egg drop soup. No apology for the wait, says he deleted the order and that's it. Can't even begin to describe my first experience which was horrific. I asked for a ginger ale and the waitres brought out a weirdly colored drink which happened to not even be ginger ale when I asked for the manager to come look at the drink, he returned it and apologized and worked on getting an actual ginger ale now. Long story short the waitress did not care about her job as she was disciplined infront of me. I've never had the opportunity to try P.F. Chang's so I was really looking forward to it. This location was spectacular! We had a party of 6 and everyone really enjoyed it there. Our waitress was amazing she really went above and beyond for us during our time there. We started out with the hot sour soup which was very tasty. We also ordered some appetizers for the table. The calamari and shrimp seemed to be a real hit. I ordered the orange chicken with white rice and was just blown away with how delicious it was. Definitely the best orange chicken that I've ever had. It was breaded and cooked just right with stupendous flavor. This was by far the best meal that we had during our stay in AC! If you get a chance give this place a try. read more

We try to give people some grace because we understand a lot of businesses are short staffed right now, but this wasn't a great way to start the night. We got the egg drop soup (not pictured) and the lettuce wraps to start. Both of these were amazing. The lettuce wraps are a staple of this place- you have to get them if you're dining in. So much flavor in both of these appetizers. I got the crispy honey shrimp as an entree- which was okay. It has a nice flavor, but too much breading in my opinion. They do give great portion sizes, however. Our server was extremely nice and attentive; despite the restaurant being very busy. Our glasses were always full, and our dishes were always being cleared. Started with the tempura calamari, and dumplings the calamari was alil soft but the flavor was good and the dipping sauce was a nice addition. The dumplings were nice and juicy. The Japanese style Moscow mule was made very well not too much ginger ima sucker for a good mule. Second day we made a 6 o'clock reservation didn't get seated until 6:40pm and it was worth the wait !!! Heads up this is family style and meant to be shared and they also state that on the menu Order a strawberry margarita which was amazing pepper prawns and Mongolian beef which my husband forced me to try and for us it was a little over cooked and we couldn't chow it so our amazing waitress took it off the bill BUT HONEY the pork fried rice was every thing FRESH!!!! It was our 2nd anniversary and a surprise for my wife. However, there was no cake and celebration, even though I mentioned clearly that its our anniversary while making the reservation. So, now I look like a fool not having ordered a cake/dessert for our anniversary, trusting the wrong restaurant for important event of my life. Will choose wisely the next time. I stayed at the Tropicana casino and resort for Work and happen to go to this location for dinner one night. I find it interesting that this location has two floors and very rarely is the dining space that's immediately outside the lobby area ever filled with anybody. So it makes the location look like it's closed. I was just a party of one so I had a seat at the bar was served promptly by a very friendly bartender, Amber. I opted to go with a sweet-and-sour chicken and a glass of wine. I cannot tell you how excited I was that they had the apothic wine because it's a red blend and I found that very few locations in the casino actually carried a red blend. The chicken was absolutely wonderful! I loved how moist the chicken was, but the exterior wasn't super hard, but it was crunchy enough that it really gave great texture. I also really appreciated that while there were two servers/bartenders on they basically just let me eat in silence. After a busy day of meetings and interacting with multiple people, it was exactly what I wanted and I appreciate that they didn't take offense to me just wanting to be left alone to eat my supper in peace. read more

I've never been to a PF Changs in my life and shun chain restaurants, but when staying in the Tropicana your choices are limited. So when in Rome... I was pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were well made - even the Japanese Old Fashioned was smoked and covered properly. The food was typical American Chinese (of course) and all were well made. Highly recommend the Salt and Pepper Prawns. Attentive and friendly service. According to staff the restaurant has just reopened after being completely remodeled recently to their east coast flagship. The only downside is the lack of a proper menu - I detest the QR menu via smart phone. read more

I was so disappointed in this restaurant because it was so bad. I've been to PF chang's in Miami before and the food was delicious but here everything was bad. The egg rolls were super oily and fishy when they were supposed to be pork. The ragoons taste fishy too- like everything was fried in old oil with fish around it so the taste stuck to it. The food was a mess too. The crispy orange chicken was soggy, the pad Thai was oily which was confusing bc it's pad Thai. And the ginger chicken and broccoli was super undercooked.
