I have been to P. F. Chang's multiple times however one this specific occasion my friends and I were treated with the most terrible service. We simply ordered, sesame chicken, chicken lomein, and shrimp tempura roll and it took over 45 minutes to receive the first two meals. Not to mention the restaurant was empty and half the wait staff were on their phones! It was only until I complained we receive our first two dishes, and it was not until WE FINISHED that I had to complain again to receive a simple sushi roll. The restaurant was in no ways busy. When it was time to leave they handed us a full bill -- after such terrible service I was outraged and asked to speak with a manager. While no manager showed they were kind enough to omit the sushi roll. The food was overall very good the service was just unacceptable. read more

We have been there a few times and it just is not as good as AC or Princeton.. I don't know why the quality just isn't there. Then I tried take out once, and the local college girl taking my order could not have been more put out by my ordering. Imagine the food you usually get from the local Chinese restaurant but AMAZING! Cooked to perfection and full of flavor, that is PF Changs. I have never been to a restaurant where u complain about the food tasting burned and they add sauce to it...well this was the first time I experienced that. I ordered the combination fried rice and as soon as the plate hit the table I noticed a smell.. my guest and I both served ourselves and tasted the rice... what a disappointment the taste of burned rice I told the waiter and he took the plate to the back and immediately brought it back stating the chef thought Mayb it needed more sauce and if we didn't like it they would then make another one ... the taste was still there with extra sauce so we didn't eat it at the point I just wanted to leave so although the offered to have them make another one I didn't want to spend anymore time there... if your going to make something right or fix it .. it should be done correctly the first time read more

The food was okay, but we received an offhanded, very rude comment made by a different server than the one serving our table. Nobody really apologized until we said something, and still there was no compensation from the restaurant. We were insulted by what the other waiter had said to us and it ruined much of the experience for my boyfriend and I. This was my first time eating out in a restaurant in over a year since COVID hit. I was nervous to go out but felt it was time to get back into the world. There was a very sweet young blonde guy hosting named JOHNNY and I told him that I was nervous to be out and he told me that he would give me their best person to take care of me. So he took me over to the bar and I got KEVIN the bartender -- who was AMAZING. He is the kindest and most pleasant person who I have ever met. I told him this was my first meal out in over a year and he made sure everything was perfect. He even got me plastic utensils when I asked and he did a magic trick to put me at ease with these little Japanese hot towels that he brought me. I didn't see it on the menu but I asked KEVIN if he could make me a lichee martini and he crafted one special for me and it was even better than I remembered. I'm so glad that I came out for this meal. Not only did I take a step towards getting back to normal life but I feel like I made a new friend in KEVIN and I will be coming back for another lichee martini! read more

I've been to this restaurant several times, each time hoping for a better experience. My friends and I prefer to sit at the bar, enjoy a cocktail and eat a meal. The bartenders have been consistently inattentive and condescending when questioned about the service. Food service at the bar is also quite poor, as we experienced on Saturday night. It took more than an hour to get our meals, while we watched people who arrived after us, get served before us. The manger was ineffectual, the food just okay. Best thing about this place is the interior design. Will not be going back there again. read more

Decided to stop here just want to relax and have some light food and drinks. Heard from my friends saying that the atmosphere is good. Well, my brother and I ordered the fried calamari and lettuce wrap. I would say the food here is not so tasty if you really compare it to others Chinese or Asian restaurant in Jersey. My wife and I like PF Chang's. We have eaten at the one at Princeton Market Fair and always had a positive experience. However, while the food was good the service was lousy here. Our waitress never asked to refill our drinks. Empty dishes were left unbused on our table during the whole meal. More attention was paid to a bigger table near us. We made a reservations for 5. This might been my 3rd or 4th time but their service is way too slow but today it was horribly slow. We Order soup and appetizer . It was 45 mins( no soup or any kind of food made it to the table) I got up and asked why it's taking so long and their weren't even busy?? Sunday night table next us were dirty and no one cleaning tables or carpet ? Manager came to our table and said we will comp your soup. Fine finally got the food after 1:20mins and it wasn't good. Average Chinese food which I could have ordered from any "to go"Chinese food. I just wanted to eat and never come back. Now 2 hours into now and we were awaiting for the check and refill on water and soda? I got up again and requested my check and my check wasn't comped for soup: I asked why and the server said he speak with the manager. They took the soup off but charge for 2 kids drinks which were included with kids meal? This time again I ask to fix the check but no sever or anyone around ? I got up again and found the manager and he took the drinks and kids meal off ( he said; tonight's dinner is on me)? He said it again and loudly to my wife - ??? I didn't want say anything expect leave but it wasn't free? I paid for my drinks, all adult meal and he dare to say a soup and 2 kids meal total $14 off means it's free. Rude manager and servers ?? Finally decided to give PF's a try for a birthday dinner. Four 1st timers. The Pros: server was friendly and attentive, no food mix-ups and everything was plentiful. Appetizers had were Dynamite Shrimp which was 10-12 pieces and very tasty though lacked any noticeable 'kick', and the dumplings which were really, REALLY good. Dinner was two kung pao chicken, again plenty of food and real good flavor, the wok crispy chicken which was pedestrian, but tasty enough, and the beef lo mein which was heavy on the lo mein and the weakest of all the dishes. Had leftovers to take home. Sodas were 3 bucks a pop but free refills so works out I guess. Cons: our 2 appetizers came out a good 5-10 minutes apart - not good, not good at all. But the real drawback here is price. This really is food you can get at your local hole-in-the wall Peking Palace-type joint minus the fancy interior (which is really nice BTW). Most people get their Chinese to go anyway AND we dropped with tip over $100 dollars for this. A fraction of the price at my local joint. Bottom line: kind of worth the first time experience but won't be going out of my way to get back there any time soon. read more

Very disappointed. Would have been one star but our server was nice, polite, attentive and accommodating. The hot and sour soup tasted better on past visits. Seemed like pieces of shredded chicken were just tossed into the broth. I ordered Chang's spicy chicken. Some of the pieces were chewy and even grizzly -suspect the chicken was not adequately trimmed. The " topper" was the rice. I ordered brown rice; my companion ordered white. Interestingly, both portions came in the same bowl. There was a fine demarcation between the portions but after 1 or 2 spoonfuls from each of us, it was all mixed together. Our server offered a separate bowl but I declined. My first thought was' do they have a shortage of dishwashers or dishwashing appliances.' Second thought was this is taking family style a bit too seriously. Too bad because the day before, I had signed up for P F Chang's rewards. I liked P F Chang's, going back several years. One poor visit is not the final word . I believe in second chances . But it will be awhile before I return. read more

At those prices I can go to a great resteraunt instead of the big box shops like PF Changs. Management has no idea of what the average customer wants. Already see business on the decline. 5 starts for 5 star management and food! Listen we all go to chain restaurants sometimes good experiences sometimes bad I have had one or two myself. But here at P.F. Chang's the food is excellent and the service is amazing. If it's not I can guarantee you this because like I said we all have different experiences.... if you have a bad experience ask for Brian..... plain and simple there are a lot of managers don't get me wrong they mite be good as well but this manager has taken his time to know the menu upside down and is willing to make you whatever you want that he can!!!! No joke no lie he loves what he does this is someone that is perfect with people and should be a corporate manager one day he makes your experience that much better he's a positive person who just wants to make you happy. So I give this place 5 stars because of this man he makes this place even better then what it is. So if you think differently of this place please give it another try and ask for Brian ! read more

On Saturday Night my husband and I went to eat at PF Changs in Freehold NJ. We have always enjoyed our experience there and the food is usually good. We have not gone there is a very long time and figured we go then catch a movie since it was around 7:00 and the movie started at 9:30. We sat at the bar and ordered two appetizers and two dinners. Every thing was ordered at the same time. Our dinners were combo rice and shrimp and lobster sauce. Our appetizers came out and, we then waited ... waited ... and waited for our dinner. In fact we waited 45 minutes for our food. Remember, we are sitting at the bar with the bartender walking back and fourth and chatting with the other workers as we sat and waited. When we finally asked if he forgot to answer the food... the answer was ohh the kitchen got slammed and they are behind a little... Still, not going back. Finally he goes back and is gone for at least 10 minutes. He arrives with out food. Like I said he have been there several time. It was odd to get our combo rice that was full of spoon dents. It usually comes in a perfect mound...The only think I could think of was it was reheated and stirred because the Shrimp and Lobster sauce was cold. In face so cold, it had a film on it due to sitting in the back. the bartender said I'll have my manager come over because you guys waited way too long. Well we did wait but it seems that the food was ready but sat in the back. When the manager came over he quickly took the cold shrimp and lobster sauce and brought it in the back to get a new one. That left us with the combo rice. Well, there was no combo... maybe one shrimp no chicken and few pieces of stake. So maybe the spoon marks were from someone eating it. We were then asked if we wanted desert. We ordered a banana and ice cream desert which we waited for at least 20 minutes. it too came out cold. I know Ice cream is suppose to be cold but the bananas were to be served hot. At this point we missed our movie and received our bill. The bartender acted as if the big favor was that he took off the shrimp and lobster and the dessert. The rice combo was 1/2 eaten, reheated and barely had shrimp... chicken or steak in it. We ended up not getting out of there until 10:00. Have you ever had to try and get you pre bought Movie tickets back. It's a pain... the food was horrible due to poor service. In the past, I have had wonderful experiences with this P. F. Chang's and their food. Unfortunately, this time around I cannot say the same thing because of the dirty bathrooms and underwhelming food. The bathrooms were covered in toilet paper and had overflowing trash cans. In addition, the food was nothing special due to the rice being overcooked and my chicken not being as flavorful as it has been in the past. On a positive note, the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The waitress we had was sweet, knowledgeable, and willing to help us in any way possible. I think I will be taking a break from this P. F. Chang's for some time, but plan to return in the future. read more

When you want to go to a restaurant with ambiance and come out of it not smelling like sweet and sour pork, this is the place to go to! If you want to see Oriental-looking servers, who I swear must be wearing eyeliner to make themselves look Asian, this is the place to go to. If you want a shallow description of the way the "soup is being prepared as we speak," this is the place to go to. But if you want real, authentic Chinese food, don't go to this place. The only authentic item in this place might be the soy sauce, but then again, who knows. I'd give this "eclectic", chi-filled place a C-. Try harder with the food! Worst experience ever! There were 3 tables in the bar area ready to be sat but we were told by the extremely rude hostess "it's part of the wait time" whatever that means, we wound up seating ourselves after 20 mins of watching the empty tables just sitting there waiting to be sat by paying customers like us! The food order which was extensive was messed up we had to send back two dishes which were wrong. The waitress who was in panic mode from the moment we met her forgot to take the dishes off the bill and gave us an attitude when we asked to redo the final bill. Sorry!
