Lsst Saturday, my family and I went here to celebrate me and my fiancé's proposal. We had plans to dine at another nearby restaurant, but my love accidentally messed up our reservation. My parents checked out PF Changs and they were able to accommodate a table of 8. We had to wait about 15min or so, which is nothing for a Saturday night. Our server was Yulie and she was nothing short of amazing. She was kind, welcoming, helpful, and very attentive. She constantly filled our water cups up without us hounding her down. She was patient as we ordered and as guests arrived late... She was the best! Our food was sooooo delicious. I've been to pf changs three times but this was the best experience. We ordered the chicken lettuce e wraps as appetizers and they were a hit! They are super flavorful. I can't remember what everyone ordered but I do remember their being some kind of pasta or noodles and I remember several orders of orange chicken. I had chicken lo mein and my mom had chicken fried rice. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE loved their food. I honestly feel like this restaurant was the better choice for the evening. Pricing is great and you get pretty damn good portions. Many of us left with to-go boxes. Ohhh one last thing. They gave me and my fiancé free cake to celebrate our engagement. All P.F. Changs are not created equal! PF Changs is one of my favorite restaurants so that's why my babe made reservations for us here on a Saturday night. There was no wait in line and with our reservation we were immediately seated in a cozy booth right next to the restrooms. Our waitress was so pleasant and I believe she was fairly new to the position but she made sure we were well taken care of from beginning to end. We even had a visit from the store manager. He was very personable and engaging. He wanted to know how we felt about our experience here and come to find out he's a local from back home. Heyyyy! We found out he graduated from Hampton University. Small world... so when we mentioned we were from the 757 area he was very excited to know that some locals were dining in his restaurant. I explained to him back home the portions at the Virginia Beach location were so much more than what was served here. I was a bit concerned. I remember asking the waitress if we had the dinner portion of the fried rice and not the lunch or child's plate. She confirmed it was the dinner portion. Because of our not so great experience the Store Manager gave us some coupons to redeem for a free appetizer when we return. Such a super nice gesture. This restaurant is connected to Tysons Corner and it's definitely surrounded by other shopping and other eateries as well. We'll be back because we definitely have to redeem our free items. Worst service iv had at pf. Fairfax location is better. The food itself was just like any other pf but the service was terrible. My waitress was clearing our table while I was still eating. Telling us to take the food and put it on our plates. They also gave us another tables order. And we had to call multiple employees to correct them. Upon our correct order I found my sushi was not completed and didn't have any crunchy toppings that come with it. Nor a dish for soy sauce. When trying to leave and finish up. The waitress again started cleaning our table while we were finishing up. And we felt as though we were being forced out even though there was no wait or line at the door. Disappointed. read more

A constant option when you are craving for the "in between" Chinese food. They are more Americanized but always ensure to make you feel satisfied. The egg drop soup, chicken lettuce wraps and pepper chicken are regulars (this has been discontinued now unfortunately). Alternates are kungpao chicken, and Singapore noodles. I remember when PF Changs was the spot to go to. Its been awhile since we've eaten here since I love our hole in the wall place near home. Anyways.. the shrimp tempura sushi tasted awful. My daughter and I each took a piece and it tasted bad. Bad as in I was scared That I was going to puke. It tasted super fishy as if it was old or something in it was expired. The lettuce wraps were our favorite thing but i guess they no longer make the sauce for you. Both sauces that came with it were good but the lettuce to chicken ratio was way off. The bottom was filled with rice chips so my daughter and I ate close to two small lettuce wraps each. Service- Friday night around 8pm. Super slow. I would give this one star, but one employee here, Penpa, is wonderful and should be respected for his professionalism. My wife, her friend and I came here on Saturday looking for a table outside. The hostess seemed zoned out and did not speak professionally at all. She told us that there are vacant tables outside and someone should clean them. Then get a server to get it ready, did she expect us to clean it?! When I flagged a server down, he was extremely apathetic and just didn't take our concerns seriously at all just to accommodate other customers who had just come in. Second visit in the last month or so after not visiting for many years. Made a reservation via OpenTable and were seated within a few minutes of arriving. Waiter came by a few minutes later. We knew what we wanted so did not need menus but appreciated the paper drink menus with a QR code to the food menu. Food came quickly and the waiter brought a second ice tea without prompting. The orange chicken was very good, very orangey and a bit spicier than the last time we had it. We were asked if we wanted extra rice (no thanks but appreciate the question). Another waiter came by and noticed we were finished and cleared the tables asking if we needed anything else and noticing the ice tea was low asked about a refill. Nice job. Loved being able to use Apple Pay at the table by scanning a QR code on the receipt which goes to a web site that shows the itemized receipt, has an option to split the bill, add a tip, and pay with Apple Pay. Not the place to go to when crowded, they can not handle it and it was proven in the food and service quality. Let's start from walking in. I had a reservation for 7:45 and came in at 7:30 and was told to wait 25-30 minutes. What? A reservation means at 7:45 I have a table and at 7:45 I will be seated. I waited till 8 and then made a big fuss, as I should, since I am starving at this point and it's been 15 minutes over my reserved time. The manager came, apologized, and gave me a table. I will rate the manager a 5/5 because he was kind and did his best. I will however have to rate the host a 1/5 because he seemed dead inside and didn't look like he wanted to be there, on top of that was no help. While we were waiting, a couple of other families said they were waiting 40-60 minutes past their reserved time. That is completely ridiculous. After that, we got a table that seemed like it wasn't finished with busing. I asked a man who was bussing (older Asian man) and he ignored me a couple times and then when I got his full attention, he rudely told me "it's not my job, find someone else" WHAT?? I have never had an experience where they tell me rudely that, they're supposed to say sorry about this, I'll find someone who can help. Very disappointed with that. Our waitress was however amazing, and I will have to give her 6/5 stars. She was very nice and had a great positive energy. Food was poor in my opinion. I'll have to give it a 1.5/5. Seafood is a delicate food. I ordered the calamari and it was obviously over cooked because it was so spongy. I was very disappointed with that. I also had the sesame chicken which was also very crispy and I felt like the meet was over cooked as a result. I also ordered fried rice and that was never delivered l, which made me quite disappointed. In review, front of the house and the kitchen needs to get their act together. Front of house needs to learn how to communicate with customers and the kitchen needs to learn how to properly cook. The manager did the best he can and I am more than pleased with the waitress we had, she was truly the only reason I wasn't pissed off the whole time. Stopped in for an early happy hour. Bar was empty. Bar tender, Torin, was attentive although seemed ready to get home after his shift. The happy hour menu offers 6$ glasses of wine and select cocktails and appetizers as well as 5$ dumplings. I had the lettuce wraps which are always a must get!! Portion reasonably sized with plenty of lettuce. They used to make the sauce based on your sauce preference but arrived with a premixed version. Cooked perfectly, nice and hot, and perfectly seasoned. I find these are consistent between locations. I also had Cecilia's shrimp dumplings. These are almost identical to their previous shrimp dumplings but served with a light chili oil based sauce. We ordered the following: APPETIZERS: Crispy Wontons Shrimp Dumplings Pork Dumplings ENTREES: Tuna Tataki Crisp Sesame Chicken Lunch Bowl Shrimp with Lobster Sauce Lunch Bowl Ma Po Tofu The rice in all the dishes were super hard and crunchy. We definitely got leftover rice. The tables to the left and right of us got there food significantly sooner than ours and they had a different server who was very attentive. We ordered right at 4pm in time for the lunch special but our entrees did not come out until 4:31pm which is totally ridiculous for LUNCH!!! Our server Atika was T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E!!!! You know when you have bad service when you have to get up several times throughout the meal just to find the server to get service. I thought for sure these reviews were too low for P.F. Chang's, however, my own experience was indeed validated by everyone's reviews. Considering this is located in Tysons II where the bar is set high, I am less forgiving. Of the six dishes we ordered, only 2 of them were tasty. Portion sizes were pretty small and at the conclusion of our meal, none of us were "full". We ate clean every last morsel of food, even mixing the bland rice with the left over sauces in each entree. Chicken Lettuce Wraps - these weren't the delicious wraps I remembered at other P.F. Chang's. We had to request extra lettuce wraps. Flavor was just a-okay. (3 stars) Dim Sum Appetizer Special - (I don't think it's listed on the menu) various steamed dumplings, fried eggrolls and rangoons. The steamed dumplings were good, the fried stuff wasn't so impressive. (3 stars) Singapore Street Noodles - Noodles were uncooked. Didn't have that strong flavorful curry taste I was expecting. I've definitely had better. (2 stars) Kung Pow Shrimp - very delicious. Shrimp had perfect texture and taste. Slightly coated with something but not your typical batter. I loved this dish the most. (4 stars) Cantonese Beef Chow Fun - not too bad flavor-wise, but some of the noodles were undercooked. I've definitely had better, but this wasn't too bad. (3 stars) Ginger Chicken with Broccoli - Nothing special. Amount of chicken seemed lacking. Taste exactly like it looks. (3 stars) Moo Goo Gai Pan - Nothing special here either. Perhaps a bit unimpressive but not bad. (3 stars) Ma Po Tofu - this was nothing like Mapo Tofu. I understand this is "fusion" food, but give it a different name at least. That said, this was actually pretty flavorful. Just like the ginger chicken with broc....this was an very underwhelming amount. (2 stars) Bottomline - For the money you can get MUCH better food at Maggiano's and a LOT more. The problem was that we called too late, and couldn't accomodate a reservation. read more

Brah! PF is decent. The last two times I ordered takeout, during quarantine of course, it was really disappointing. I don't know how many times I have asked them to separate my wontons and the soup so that I don't get just a mushy disgusting mix of food but they never do it. It's gotten to the point where I don't order it anymore even though it's my favorite thing from there (I usually order using Uber eats otherwise I would check the bag before I leave). I think If a business wants to survive Covid they're going to have to figure out how to get their food to their customers in a way that Doesn't degrade the food. How difficult is it to separate these two things? Their chocolate wall cake was super dry and no sauce. You have to have the raspberry sauce... come on! read more

For a chain restaurant located inside of a shopping mall, PF Chang's is not bad. Despite being Americanized, they offer a wide variety of creative and tasty dishes dubbed as "Asian-Fusion". Though I've frequented this establishment many times in the past, my most recent experience was a family dinner of roughly 15 people. We ordered family style multiple quantities of: Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps Crispy Green Beans w/ spicy mayo Crispy Honey Shrimp Mongolian Beef Orange Peel Chicken Garlic Noodles The chicken lettuce wraps are my personal favorite-- well-seasoned, perfectly portioned, and simple flavors/ingredients made deliciously. The crispy honey shrimp is also another go-to dish of mine, except this time the flavor fell short from what I remembered and it was soggy. The Mongolian beef was a big hit for the fam-- perfectly cooked beef with tasty sauce. Everything else was just average..the garlic noodles especially lacked any outstanding flavor and was a bit bland. The servers were friendly and accommodating to our large group. The food came out in a timely manner and our drinks were constantly refilled. I also love the ambiance of the place; the dim lighting and booths make for a relaxing environment. My wife and I love P.F. Changs! The restaurant is really nice, the customer service is great and the food is delicious! The food here is great! The portions are a good size! The kung pao chicken here is excellent! We also really like the dumplings and lettuce wraps are really good as well! We haven't had something here that we didn't really enjoy! The food here isn't too expensive either, a little more pricey than a chinese take-out place, but only a couple dollars more! There's plenty of parking in the mall parking lot! Not only is it clear from the reviews you have significant problems there, but it is clear EXACTLY what the problems are. Why would you expect your customers to waste more time talking with you when you did not respect them and their dining experience while they were paying you to eat in your restaurant? This PF Changs is located to the left of Cheesecake Factory in Tysons II. The restaurant seems semi small compared to the Fairfax Pf Changs but it was much brighter in light. Our waiter was amazing. He was training another employee but they both equally attentive in our table and others that belong to him. I came here during dinner so the portion size was much bigger. The food was delicious. Be aware some foods have a spicy pepper next to it, and that spicy pepper logo does not lie it is spicy. But overall the food came out quickly. The only complaint that i have was the fried rice. If you dont want white or brown rice ... you have an option to get fried rice but it is extra. It was our fault that we didnt ask how much is "extra" but we got our bill it was around $5.50. Ambiance/dress is nicer casual style national chain restaurant. When you finally get your food, it is good. Meets national chain standard. SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION-NOT GOOD. Manager even worse because he did not recognize the failure of service staff to make the experience good, and had staff standing around doing nothing to improve the store. After food was delivered, no check back to see how everything was or if we wanted anything else. After dinner, no invite for dessert. Asked for box, and it took FOREVER to come back with a box. Then he finally came with the check, we immediately gave him the card because we had already waited so long for the box, and the waiter disappeared- A customer should never have to get up and go looking for staff. Two other waiters standing around seeing us getting visibly upset about the delay and missing waiter- they did not move to help one bit. Apparently the guy was having a hard time with the credit card machine---- BUT NOBODY COMMUNICATED any problem until we went hunting for the waiter. MANAGER JEFF HERMAN did come to the table- abruptly "we had to manually enter your card. Thanks for your patience." And walks away- no, not acceptable. Should have asked us about our experience and how was everything- he could have learned. Rude, and we left feeling very disappointed. Very disappointed. Finally, ladies' room was dirty and far below standard for Tysons Corner.
