Unfortunately this was one of the least enjoyable experiences I've had dining out in a long time. The service was extremely slow, despite the restaurant being pretty calm when I arrived and was sat. (Yes, there were plenty of empty tables and my server had one other table finishing their meal when I arrived). I was helped pretty quickly until larger parties arrived, then I was promptly ignored while the server tended to them instead. The part that made me upset the most was the larger parties receiving their meals before I did (I arrived and placed my order before them, this shouldn't have happened). My food was subpar as well. My meal was cold (leading to the suspicion that the larger party was intentionally taken care of before me) and the waitress didn't bring my requested refill till I already ate my full meal. All my life I was told to avoid P.F. Chang's and I didn't listen and gave in and boy was I disappointed. The orange chicken is a staple dish as in I get it at every Asian American restaurant to test the food quality and I'm confident to say how terrible this orange chicken was. Aesthetically it is nice to look at, but the batter that coats the 9-10 pieces of chicken (wild for $18) was mushy and not crunchy at all. A good orange chicken IMO should have a nice crunchy outside layer followed by a tender chicken meat. The flavor was not too bad but there was zero "wok-hei". The fried rice was actually not that bad. The lack of short rib meat was one thing but this dish was supposed to be spicy and it wasn't at all. We had to ask for chili oil on the side to even bring the heat up from a very low mild to a low-medium. The service is amazing and our hostess and waitress did a great job attending to us and our requests. They are super polite and professional. The ambiance is dim, moody, and overall pleasant and adds an "upscale" vibe to the restaurant despite the very mediocre food. *BONUS: the alcoholic beverage was really tasty, definitely give it a try read more

Went with my daughter yesterday. I was craving a Mongolian beef for a nice warm meal. For some weird reason, everything tasted really dirty. The soup was really gross. The salad dressing was just subpar. My daughter loves spring rolls and we couldn't even finish it. We had to send it back in the Mongolian beef was so chewy that I couldn't swallow it and when I did, I almost choked. My daughter got the fried rice and I don't know how you could screw up fried rice but for some weird reason, I had a weird flavor. The only thing that we really liked was the lettuce wraps and I think the cheesecake factory does it better. The server was really nice and she refunded our spring rolls. But the restaurant has really gone downhill since I went there like five years ago. It wasn't worth a Winter Park establishment. Very consistently good service and food. I can't think of a time I had a bad meal or experience. I like the the new happy hour deals. Plenty of space at the bar to eat and drink at this location. They do have outside dining for those who prefer that. Very good food pick up. Just go to the left side of the semi circle bar. Our overall meal was good Today the restaurant gets three stars because the lunxh my friend did not enjoy her noodles and food was served warm. We started off with chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken was flavorful and came out promptly. We had to initially return the lettuce because it came out with brown leaves but this was corrected quickly. I had a delicious lemonade and our entrees were the Singapore Street noodles that included shrimp, chicken and veggies and the Mongolian beef. My friend felt that the noodles were ok and that they were missing the shrimp. I had the Mongolian beef that was well seasoned stir fried with green onion. The meal could have been a little hotter and smaller pieces of the green onion. The server was courteous and was tentative. The restaurant has been at this location a long time and the decor was maintained. I have not dined here in a long time. I would return and have cocktail next time. read more

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. And I'm sorry to say and I see a huge decline in the quality of service and the atmosphere. This restaurant is in serious need of a remodel or at least a seriously deep cleaning and repairs. The menus are tattered. The pedestals for the booth's are rusted and pealing, and the staff is not keeping up with the overall condition of the dining room. When is restaurant open? I can remember the front lobby being completely packed with people as well as a line outside the door. We were there on a Saturday night. At seven p m and half the tables were empty. There were bits and pieces of straw wrappers and trash around the floor, Going towards the bathroom, the carpet was completely dirty and there was even a piece of toilet paper laying in the lobby before the bathroom. The same toilet paper was laying there when we left. The food was decent but it wasn't. Wow, and that's probably why I gave it 3 stars because if it wasn't for the food and honestly for our waiter being so friendly and willing to do whatever it took it would have been a one. The little things that they used to do, such as the presentation of the trio sauce at the beginning of the meal and the other small details, including how the staff is dressed, how you are greeted and the overall atmosphere has real you changed. This is tough to say because this has been one of our favorite restaurants. And I even knew the original management that opened the store. I'm sure they would be quite surprised at the path that has taken. One last note we were there with 2 other people. And we had our bill, and they had theirs. And we were advised that you can only have one rewards card per table, not per check. maybe all of this is just a way to cut costs. But it's definitely not the way to keep people coming back.. My suggestion to the management is to actually sit down like a customer and experience the restaurant. Disappointing. Came here on a Thursday after lunch rush. Restaurant was less than half full at 1:02pm. Was quickly seated. Ordered the lunch special at 1:08pm. The app of 1 spring roll arrived at 1:34pm, after I asked about it and after the first table seated after me received their main course (they did not order any apps) and before the second table seated after me ordered. My main course (lunch special mind you) arrived at 1:53pm, after the second table seated after me received their mains and side dishes. I don't know if the server didn't enter the ticket, if the kitchen lost the ticket, or another server took the wrong order, but for a "lunch special" that is smaller and usually designed to be prepared faster, the pacing of my meal was ridiculous. The manager was visible in the dining room, however, never checked on any tables and was only busing and resetting them. They need to put their focus on their customers and either a little retraining or streamlining some processes. It was not worth the money or the time, so I will not be back. If you choose to dine here, be prepared that it may not be an enjoyable or quick lunch special experience. read more

Amazing how pfc has gone down hill over the last few years. Used to be top of the line now it's an afterthought. Stopped in for lunch today after a movie. Lettuce wraps were excellent as always except for the fact they came out 30 seconds before our me. Server acted annoyed when she brought the food and I commented leave it on the edge of the table as you just gave us our appetizer and have you or your kitchen actually learned that there should be at least 10 to 15 minutes between appetizer delivery and the meal. She walked away in a huff. Wife's "sesame chicken" had no sesame and was a bland orange chicken. My chicken pad thai was dry like it had been under a heat lamp which I found it hard to believe considering how quickly it was delivered. Also they have evidently started to substitute tofu for chicken so they can cut back. Lastly they clearly don't know how to manage their soda taps. First coke was weak in flavor. Second coke had almost no color and less favor. Again wait staff just felt bothered when we asked for a replacement. It was far from good and very far from enjoyable. Such a shame as we used to love the place. Now we go for the lettuce wraps and cross our fingers for anything else. read more

The food was really good, the service and the location was great as well. We picked the less touristy area for our first experience. The sangria was my fav very sweet but yet strong. I was surprised when the cake came out, it was enormous. I ordered the beef and broccoli with lo mein I was not expecting it to be so delicious. Several friends had dinner yesterday: 1. service was poor. waiter seemed bored by our not ordering cocktails first 2. we were told pad thai would take longer as noodles were "frozen" 3. thirty minutes after two main courses were served, pad thai was served and noodles were NOT cooked. Wow, what an experience! This PF Cheng's restaurant exceeded all expectations. It was busy when we walked in and we were immediately greeted with a smile from the hostess at the entrance. The atmosphere was relaxing, which I appreciated. The food was awesome. I recommend the lettuce wraps as an app and the Mongolian Beef is sooo good! And most of all the service was AMAZING! Our server/bartender was so kind, attentive, and caring. He really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Definitely recommend! And if you do go, ask for Justin. Visited on a weekend afternoon. We were sat in a booth right away. The tables in this location are ridiculously crowded and close together, so much so that it's almost impossible to make it to the restroom without asking someone to get up or move their chair. Our server was fine but went missing a couple times. We ordered hot and sour soup for the table which was a 10/10. Lettuce wraps were okay. We had to ask a couple times for the sauces that used to come to the table automatically. The kids fried rice was great too, a good portion and with extra egg as requested. The changs "spicy" chicken was anything but spicy (despite asking for extra spicy) - it was sickeningly sweet and not good at all. We sent it back as we assumed there was a mistake but the second order was just as sweet and inedible. The food took 20 minutes to come out with no explanation or apology from the server, and the remake took just so long, we ended up taking it to go. An expiring gift card and a craving for lettuce wraps brought us here on a Friday night. It was not overly busy and we were able to be seated within a few minutes of our reservation. To start we ordered the rising dragon (pom marg) that arrived halfway through the entrees sadly, dynamite shrimp and lettuce wraps. Both were on par to the nostalgia we fondly recalled--the shrimp lacked some spice. For entrees, we ordered Mongolian beef & chicken lo mein with a request to make it spicy (no spice at all, but flavorful), and a side of Brussels sprouts that never came. wouldn't say we are running back or that we won't end up here again, but the price for drinks and entrees rivals with some of the higher end chain restaurants and it's not on the same level. read more

My wife and son have always loved PF Changs but the last few times we have been it's been disgusting. We ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Kung Pao Shrimp, and Chicken Fried Rice. The lettuce wraps recipe appears to have changed; they are now in what looks like burnt soy sauce resulting in an overwhelming taste of salt. They also come now with peanut sauce which imo is a horrible match. The Kung Pao Shrimp is soggy and not very good either. Those were my wife and son's favorite items; now they never want them again. We had this issue once before and wrote it off to a new cook or something. Now it appears to be the "new" PF Changs; we won't be back. read more

The volume is moderate, May get loud depending how busy it is. Service: The service was okay at first, until they were busy, it was terrible. I recommend, setting up reservations, this place does get busy. We had everything accommodated to our needs, and as soon as our appetizer arrived, everything was delayed and we waited for a very long time for many things including the check to pay. Drinks: I ordered the seasonal featured cocktail, Winter in Beijing which was okay but too sweet for my liking. Reminds me of a lemonade martini. Food: We ordered crab wontons which was delicious, down packed with flavor along with the plum sauce. For my entree, I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice, something I usually order, and it was delicious, included some broccoli as well. My wife ordered the crispy honey chicken and she had to send it back because it wasn't breaded or crispy enough (hence the name of the entree) Verdict: I've been to PF Chang multiple times and unfortunately this is the same day I create a review which was underwhelming, definitely expected better service. I absolutely love PF Changs! Right now they have this awesome daily special Monday through Friday, with a different item themed every day. My two favorite days are Mongolian Beef Mondays and Endless Chicken Lettuce Wrap Wednesdays. The lettuce wrap is endless for one order per table for only $10. My boyfriend and I shared one order and got it filled two more times. Let me tell you, spending $10 on dinner for two was nice. Just keep in mind that they won't give you another order until the one on the table is finished. However, the best deal would have to be the Mongolian Beef on Mondays for $10 per dish. Normally their dinner is $18 so getting it almost half off is great. The beef is tender, flavorful and the green onions are a great addition to it and are always fresh. You get the option of having either brown rice or white rice with that complimentary or you can upgrade to fried rice for an additional charge. If you want good food, at a good price, in a nice restaurant.... then this is the place to be. read more

Many times we have wanted to go and finally went there on a date night. We made reservations online and we arrived within 15 minutes of the reservation and seated almost immediately. The restaurant was clean and had a great feel to it, our server was friendly and very helpful. We ordered the fried dumplings and spring rolls to start and I chose Kung Pao Shrimp for myself and my wife chose the Mongolian Beef. For desert we chose the Great Wall of chocolate cake.. Very disappointed! Unfortunately, this chain restaurant missed the mark on this visit! We must have ordered too much food in the beginning because the waitress did not catch the entire order. We waited forever for a cup of wonton soup that should have been there before any appetizers arrived. We received our crab wontons twice, and they were burned both times. When we got our shrimp wontons, they were cold as well. Once the food came out, there were no serving spoons and the new dishes that they had brought us were dirty. I am not sure what happened this evening, but this just definitely was a disappointing visit. We alert the manager that we were missing one of the entrées, and by the time the manager could even come over the other food was getting cold. Everyone just proceeded to eat because we were all hungry. Finally, after some time our last entrée arrived and that was the only warm thing that we received that evening. Have no clue if they were short staffed in the back that night or if the runner was a little slow. We did not even see our waitress until we had already spoken with a manager. Just an unfortunate night, for the amount of food that we ordered, you would have thought that would they would have been more attentive. Lastly, the brown rice bowls were chipped in places where your thumb goes to pass the bowl. Thank goodness I had seen that before any of the kids that we came with touched it. I also showed that to the manager and he removed it immediately. What was concerning to me is that he made a statement, they should have never brought these out. I then told him, you should never have these to begin with. I mean, why would they even have these bowls there? That is a total hazard to staff and customers! Anyway, will probably try to attempt this at some other time, maybe months or next year, LOL. Another manager did reach out the next day to extend her apologies and said she will mail something, to me, but I am sure that I will not be back for quite some time. We started with ordering drinks. I went with a Singapore Sling. This was a nice fruit forward cocktail with Gin, Cointreau and Chambord. For an appetizer we had 5 spice dry rubbed ribs. When they arrive at the table they are smoking. A beautiful aroma of five spice envelopes the table when they are revealed. They were good. Just a bit salty. The salt overtook the five spice a little too much. I had the Chang's Spicy Chicken for an entree. This left a lot to be desired. It was not spicy at all. It was very bland. The chicken was cooked well and was tender. The fried rice had a nice flavor. It was enjoyable. Overall I was not impressed at all.
