Usually someone in the group gets a bowl and lets us know how it is on that day. With our larger group we typically combine a few tables in the middle of the seating area, which other groups/families will do too. The decor/mood is a bit high school cafeteria with the floors and dim lighting. I've also had catering from this location a few times and the order has always been correct and on time.
