I was looking for an iX in December and was talking to various SoCal dealerships to figure out who had a model close to the specs I was looking for and who could honor the advertised lease deal of $699/mo. When I contacted Pacific BMW, Victor Ng responded to my email. I asked if he would be able to honor the BMW lease deal (because Pacific BMW was using a 0.0009 money factor instead of the 0.0005 in the deal) and he responded with the following: "To be honest, everyone is doing the loop of trying not to lose money on the deal that you are working on. I checked the inventory in Southern California no one has the car but us. So here's the option for this 1. Keep waiting and talking about discount. (there will be always lower price but you won't get a car at all) 2. Come in and take delivery of the car that we have and make a deal with a reasonable price which we don't lose money. Let me know if you are willing to buy a car with me. Hope my service would make you happy about the purchase not the money factor nor the invoice of the car. Don't get me wrong, everyone want the best deal but if we are talking about $1 a day a car eventually become $0 in 10-15 years we can keep talking about this until no end." I was flabbergasted that this guy would have the nerve to send me such an insulting email. I told him I thought his response was rude and disrespectful and I never heard from him again. When his dealership sent me a followup email asking about my experience with Pacific BMW, I copied his email and sent it to the sales manager saying that I thought this was an unacceptable way to treat customers. I was amazed that I received no response! Apparently this dealership condones this sort of terrible customer service. By the way, for anybody who is looking for the best selection and prices, Irvine BMW was able to match the advertised $699/mo lease price (all identical terms to advertised), and Crevier BMW (in Santa Ana) was actually able to beat it. I ended up getting an amazing deal on an iX at Crevier and couldn't be happier about the customer service I received there, especially after the nightmare of an experience I had with Pacific BMW. Moral of the story - it's worth it to drive a little further out from LA so you don't have to deal with condescending assholes like those at Pacific BMW, and to get much better deals. read more

I took my car in yesterday to the service center to change my breaks. I left for 3 hours and returned, and I waited in the showroom because my car wasn't yet ready. I checked in twice after that and was told to continue waiting and I would get a text. And mind you, I'm sitting in their lobby! Zero customer service. After all that, I checked a third time after waiting another hour only to be told my car had been ready this whole time. No text, nothing! Had I not checked, I would have waited until closing! When the time came to pay, the lady charged me a higher amount than what she told me seconds before. She failed to tell me that a credit card payment had a 3 percent fee! I called to get a front lightbulb replaced. I wasn't repairing anything. Specifically asked to change my light bulb out. I was also specific about my car. I've had it replaced elsewhere for about 150$. They told me to bring it in and I expected to pay more than 150$ of course. After two hours they said the one light would be 685$ I said no and had to pay 128$ for them to tell me it was 685$ for one light bulb. They could have told me over the phone like a ball park estimate like most places. Waste of time and money. Fantastic buying experience! Went in for a Certified pre owned 3 series and met with a salesperson named James. James had two different cars ready for me to see when I arrived, he insisted that I drive them to make the best decision. He explained the different options between the two and answered all my questions, he definitely knows every feature on these BMW's. I don't really stick to the manufacturer's oil change schedule or wait for the light to come on before getting my car serviced. I usually change my oil every 4000 miles because of direct injection and the fact that manufacturers are using thinner oils that get diluted pretty fast. I changed the oil for the first time on my brand new BMW X3 at 4000 miles, and then I took it in for the "first" oil change when the maintenance light came on approximately 4000 miles later, which was covered by BMW's maintenance plan. Now, I just hit 4000 miles since that dealer service, and I changed my oil today, and it came out super dark and diluted. Honestly, I don't think they changed it when I took it in. From what I can tell, the oil that came out was probably the same one I put in when I changed it myself at 4000 miles. It's really disappointing to see this kind of service. It feels like they're not just cheating customers, but also messing with BMW's reputation and potentially harming engines once they're out of warranty. Look how dark the oil is from the photos I posted. That oil does not have 4,000 miles on it. I'm definitely never coming back here again. read more

Avoid Haybert Davtian at all costs and ask for Vanessa. I went in for an oil change but when I arrived Haybert Davtian told me he would also run the sensor in my key to see if there were any additional repairs needed on my 2019 BMW x2. Of course, he returned with a list issues that needed my attention, without any actual inspection of my car, he also stated that the key sensor report also listed an alignment as one of the services my car required. Sure, that may be a capability of bmw sensor technology to provide such reports without further/actual inspection, but I didn't see the actual print out of such report, so I was skeptical and I was already determined to refuse any additional services anyway. The main problem I had was that he also provided me with a list of inflated prices for each service. For example, he quoted me to $199 for an oil change when my family members get this same service at this exact location for $99. I requested that same price and after asking a supervisor he told me he would to it for $99. I also needed new brakes but he quoted me $589.99. I thought this price was a bit too high so I decided to wait. I returned about a couple of weeks later and intentionally requested to work with Vanessa as my family member recommended her. I brought up to Vanessa that I needed new brakes and she quoted me $489, which is what most shops in the area had quoted me as well so I decided to go for it. Point of this review, avoid Haybert Davtian at all costs and ask for Vanessa! She's fair and not sketch! At the very least, negotiate the cost of the service. read more

First of all if l discuss the quality of the car it was much less than expected. Service was below expectations and the bigest theft is how they rip you off when returning your car at the lease end. They charged me 400$ for an invisible scratch underside the front bumber facing the asphalt. I will post the picture in my next post for all to see what l am talking about because no one will believe it. They charged 300$ for each tire stating that its warn of more than their standards. I had my wors dealer experience at this dealership last week. Took my car in for a routine service. There was nothing wrong with it, and all four tires were perfectly fine and inflated. They gave the car back with a flat tire, while pouring rain with out telling me. I've been bringing my car here for service for the last ten years and it has gone downhill. It used to be a great place, with fair prices and reliable service. No more. They nickel and dime you for everything, charge an arm and a leg for diagnostics that don't even guarantee to fix the problem, and charge a 3% service charge for credit card payments! I paid $300 for a diagnostic to fix a broken signal, and they told me I needed to start with a $3500 repair, and that there was no guarantee that would fix the problem. But if still have to pay the $3500 regardless! I will never bring my car there again. So we had an appointment for just an oil change for 1:30 pm I was going to be running late since I live in Simi Valley and wanted to give a courteous heads up if we can still be seen before I drive out there. The women who answered checked with the advisor and advised that is no problem to get there around 2 ish. So we arrived 2:10 pm and my husband waited in the line just to be turned away (even though they said it was okay after speaking with the advisor).
