This was a decent spot--the servings were enormous, and while I was a bit adventurous and went with a loaded pho, next time I'm going to be a bit more vanilla and see how things go. For me, much of the proteins in the pho were too largely cut and chewy to really be enjoyable. Overall, the service was good, the pricing was as we expected, and the food came fast! What an amazing Thai-Vietnamese place! I live in the area, and whenever I feel like some sort of Asian food, I insist on going here. The prices aren't too steep, the ambiance is great, and it's food is super delicious! Their thinly sliced pork (#72) is most definitely to DIE for! The Pad Thai is also super fabulous. With a pairing of Thai Iced Tea, you are good to go. They also do take out, so if I'm craving but I don't want to have the whole sit down experience, I'll just order over the phone. i'll admit, I was weary of this place. However, I have never been disappointed on their food. Go here, try the food. Its great. They are going through a remodel right now so half of it is not being used, but the food is the same old food. Service is always friendly as well. My husband was skeptical of this restaurant but he ended up agreeing it was delicious. The Pho was some of the best I've had. The other dishes we ordered were fantastic as well. Absolute favorite restaurant in the Tigard area. My husband got me hooked on Thai food a few years back. I go here at least once a week, their mussamun curry, basil rice, pad thai and tangy chicken are to die for. Great service and decent prices. Just ate here tonight for the first time! It's always fun to try new places that I find on yelp and try it out for myself. The restaurant was very easy to find thru directions but if you were someone driving around to find something to eat this probably wouldn't be your first choice just because it's not out in the open. And even the waiter asked how we found them aha so they know that as well. The seating area isn't very big and the lighting is normal so nothing too fancy when it comes to lamps and dimming in certain areas. I always appreciate restaurants that provide different varieties of food like pho', curry, and stir fries. This place is great for vegan or vegetarians because they have many options for those meals. I ordered the wonton appetizer,the sweet curry with squid, and my boyfriend ordered the pho with rare steak, meatballs and brisket. Both very good meals. But both of us weren't big fans on the appetizer. The wontons were flat, although big, they didn't have enough filling to compensate for the leftover amount of fried wonton wrapper that it provided. They were no doubt a good size and gave us a good amount of them but it was mainly a fried wrapper and hardly any filling so they could do better. We do have to tip our hats off to their pho' thou. We both agreed that the broth was VERY good. And that's what mattered the most! I think we both wouldn't mind coming back here to eat some good soup. :) thanks again! read more

Salad rolls were above average. Tofu with lots of fresh salad stuff and big and fat. Needed more cilantro and a bit flavorless. Peanut sauce average (smooth and needs peanut chunks). Not bad for takeout and a quick light lunch. To go order taken and filled super quick. All I ordered was salad rolls since I'm not usually in this area, so I can't review on any other menu items. read more

I love this place. Me and my girlfriend come here at least 3 times a week. I love their pho it's my favorite comfort food to eat and on top of that pho is really cheap. I love their chicken pho their chicken breast are actually the good pieces of meat, some places use cheap stuff but I'd rather pay a dollar extra for these guys. At first the service kinda sucked til we started going pretty often now they love us and know exactly what we get every time. Their other foods are great too, I've had their red curry which is another favorite of mine, it's awesome. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wanted this type of food. :) yum! read more

When we bought a house in Tigard we ordered takeout the first night in our new home from pacific breeze. It was delicious! Liked the food ok but the service is pretty bad. My fiancé placed an order for take out and asked for no squid in the seafood stir fry. I show up and ask if it has squid and she says it does. I said he should have asked for no squid and the lady starts telling me no he didn't say that. So I call him to make sure and yep he did ask for that. So I tell her and she just keeps arguing about it. Ok so here she should just go remake the dinner even if I was wrong. Keep a customer right? No she keeps on. I say ok well you can argue with me and I won't pay or you can make a new one. She decided to keep arguing, I guess it's more important for them to argue and loose customers. We only go here because it's close though I have had way better Thai and Vietnamese at most other places. read more

I have loved this place for years. I recently moved to Hillsboro and still have no problem driving over to Tigard just to have some Pacific Breeze takeout. My favorite dish is the Mussiman Curry, which includes large pieces of vegetables and nice meat (I usually have chicken). Although I usually get the curry, I have also tried the pad Thai and Pho Chin and loved them as well! The staff is extremely friendly and the takeout is ready quickly. They are also really good at adjusting the spice level of each dish for people who are a little more sensitive to the pepper. The bottom line is that when I try to have Thai food elsewhere, it just never quite lives up to Pacific Breeze. read more

There are much better Thai food restaurants then this. I called in a To go order and had to repeat myself to the guy on the phone 3 times. I should have checked prices at that time. 2 orders of chicken pad Thai was $23.50 which is ridiculous. The only upside was portions were large. In fact, way too large so we only ate 1 of the orders. The food was VERY bland and the order taker didn't ask how spicy so there was no spice at all. Granted I could have asked, but isn't that their job?? Save your disappointment and go to MaLai Thai just down the road in Tigard. Better service and food all the way around. Only down side is MaLai is closed on Sundays :( read more

Food was good. Service ok. Ordered bubble tea and they didn't have bubbles. Still charged full price. Two entries (looked more like lunch portions; which is fine but it was dinner and dinner prices), one appetizer that was ordered before we put in our order and came out with dinner, hot tea and bubble tea came to $40. I would say here you find a blend of authentic Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. So if one of your favorite foods are both Thai and Vietnamese, then this is the place to go for you. Beside you will find that the flavor of dishes is above average. Unfortunately I do not come here as often anymore, I wish I could, because I do not live that close, but each time I am in the area I stop by for lunch or dinner. My favorite : the Green Curry with peppers. The other positive thing about this restaurant is that the owners and waiters are incredibly friendly and patient, they never rush you or give you the impression that they are stressed, even if it is always crowded. So I like that, is kind of relaxing. I could easily give it 5 stars, but lately something has changed, not a big deal, but I do not know if it is because they changed ownership or chef, but the portions have become real small, compared to what they used to serve originally. We had high expectations for this one. After we arrived, there were a few large take out orders placed but very few dine-in guests. It took a bit for our service to begin but once it did, our server was kind, attentive and food arrived quickly. The spring rolls were so-so. The entrees also so-so: the noodle dish with squid was congealed and, though the flavor was great, the sauce needed thinning and balance. Ditto for the curry with shrimp and a side of rice. I usually find pan-asian restaurants to be scary and/or disappointing, but this 'viet-thai' restaurant executes both worldly cuisines beautifully. From pad kee maw to vermicelli salad, to curries that span the color of the visible light spectrum, pretty much anything off of the deliciously-diverse menu will be tasty.
